hi all,
i created web templates,table and chart,while i excute that
table is displaying but chat is not displaying
it shows

Internal error when communictaing with the IGS (charts).
System response
Internal error text: "Error opening an RFC connection."

Hi Raj,
You need the IGS (Internet Graphics Server) to be correctly setup and running to be able to see the charts. See details on these threads for setting it up and testing the IGS:

I need a help in Web reporting.
While we run the web reports the scale in the chart cant be fixed as because of the values in the report.
I need the have a fixed scale for all the values.
How to make the scales static in the web template charts?

Hi Sri,
do you mean the scale of the axis? In the WAD choose Edit Chart and go to the corresponding axis. There you can set the minimum and maximum calculation to User Defined and specify your own value.

How to do "export to excel" the web template charts

Hi friends,
I have a scenario that user want to do export the web template resulted output charts to excel.
We are in WAD 3.5.so we have to write javascript code to do export reluted three charts from three queries .
Can anybody please provide code...I tried many codes available in SDN but nothing worked.

Web template charts

Hi
I am designing the web template.In template i ahve to use charts.I want to assign say cal day and revenue to that chat only.I donot want to include remaining char's and keyfig in chat.When i am execuating it is giveing all obj in chat.
I donot want all chars and keyfigures as specified above.how can i assign required chars and keyfig to chat

Web template chart not displayed properly

Hi all
I am facing an issue while displaying graph (column) in web template the graph is coming but only some horizontal and vertical lines. igs server is running but graphs are not coming properly if i am puting table then its coming properly..

I need a huge helps from you all as based on my requirement.
Is it possible to give a link from the web template to the BPS dialoge function where the user can enter the values?
Also from the web template chart when i click on a particular plant will it give the detailed report in the next page of the particular plant automatically?

Problem of Chart in Web template

hi friends,
I have created a chart in a web template, however the chart is displaying the material number along with the calendar week, is it possible to have it only display the calendar week? I also wanted to know if it is possible to insert a trend line in a chart within the Web App. Designer. guide and help me'.....

Hi Gopi,
Dont select the Material number in the query or query view which you are using for that Chart. So that, you will be having only Calender Week followed by the Key figures which are required.

Multiple chart items in a web template

we have a few web templates created that have 2 pie charts.
Each pie chart references a different Data Provider.
If I right click on top of a single chart I can export to a .PDF but it only sends the object that I right-clicked on.
Is there a standard button I can use in a toolbar that will allow the user to Export the entire web report to PDF, including multiple charts and anything else that is found in the Web Template?

Hi Peter,
Yes there is a standard button available that allows you to export your web items in pdf.
Select the button web item.
In its properties you can check out for this standard functionality.
Right now i am not having access to system otherwise i could have told you exactly which option, but look into this Button web item's properties and you will get the download option to pdf.

How to include two charts in one web template

I need to dispaly two charts which are based on same query and on characteristic 1 vs KF's and the other on characteristic 2 vs KF's in one web template.
How can this be done?

When you execute the query in the bex analyzer, perform th enavigation stpes to reach to your desired layout of data. Then from the Save button on the bex toolbar, choose Save > Save View Global. Give it a technical name and a description. Then log back into the WAD and assign the view as the data provider (Note there are 2 buttons over there: One for query and the other for View)

Overprint bar chart (web template 3.x)

Hello All,
I would like to over print 2 bar charts (==> 2 series) in my web template.
Currently Serie 1 is displayed by bar in right and Serie 2 by bar in left.
I try to get a solution to display Serie 1 behind Serie 2.
How can I get this overprint ?
Reporting 3.x, with Bex Web Analyzer.

Filling Missing Dates on Chart Axis in Web Template

Hi,
I have a chart in a web template that uses a range of data that is organized by date. The data does not contain every date in the range, for example:
Record 1:   Jan 1/09
Record 2:   Jan 14/09
Record 3    Feb 4/09,
Record 4:   etc
The requirement for this chart is to display the dates on the category axis with the axis displaying all the dates between the first and the last date even if records for the dates do not exist. This can be done in a chart in Excel, but I have not found a way to duplicate this in a BW3.5 web template.
Our envionment is BI7 SP13, but we are still using the BW3.5 front end tools.

you can solve this with a structure. First entry with variable date and all others with offset.

Web Template Migration Error in Chart

Hi All,
I have a 3x web template 'TEST_3X'
It is derived from the SAP default 3x template 0QUERY_TEMPLATE with no
major changes/customizing. Only a picture and a data provider has been
assigned. It works fine.
Now I tried to migrate 'TEST_3X' to a 2004s template using the Migration tool.
Before doing this I migrated all items using the report
'RSZW_ITEM_MIGRATION_3X_TO_70'.
At the end of the process there is this error message "Make sure that the
3x library item 0ADHOC_COLUMN_CHART is migrated to 2004s via the report.
See note 832712."
 However I cross checked the item '0ADHOC_COLUMN_CHART' in table
 RSZWBITMHEAD (target table for migration). It exists and is active.
 It also exists in table 'RSZWITEM' (source table for migration) and is active.
 Any suggestions. Am I missing anything?

Header and footer in Web Template output

Hi,
I have created a web template consisting of several web items like - information field, text fields, chart & analysis. With the help of VC we are exporting this web page into PDF. What my customer want is that to show some particular informatio in the footer like page number's company name and all.
Is there any option that i can do all these things from my end that is from BW end not from VC..
Any help will be appreciated.

How to get New Window without Variable Entry screen from one Web Template?

Hi Experts,
I've a WebTemplate contains 2 Graphs. Each graph have one Zoom Button. My requirement is, When I click the Zoom button that corresponding Grpah should display in a New Window. I've finished all the above requirements.
Since, I have One Mandatory field, I'm always getting the Variable Screen in a New Window while I clik the Zoom Button.
I need to avoid this "Rerun" feature in New Window.
Kindly suggest me how to achieve this..

Even I'm also trying for the same scenario only.
Actually I have 2 Web Templates.
In First Template I have 2 Charts and 2 Zoom buttons for each.
While I running the 1 Template, i give an Value in the Variable screen of First Web Template.
If I click a Zoom button of 1st Chart, It should open a New window with the Second Web Template. And Second Web Template should automatically take a First Template's Variable screen Values.
(Since, U have an Mandatory field in Second Template u were not faced this requirment.)
Even I tried with "TRANSFER_STATE". It is not taking the First Variable Screen's input values.
Kindly help me in this issue.
