Regarding Creation of Output types for SAP SCRIPTS

Hi All,
I want to create new output types for my SAP Script.
What is the procedure for creating new Z - Output Type.
Like ZA01 for Sales Order.
What is the procedure can any body help me in this regard.
It is not to use ZA01 in NACE & connect Print Program & Layout set against Form Entry.
It is for creation of ZA01 Output Type itself.
If anybody knows the procedure please post the steps.
Also please mention will there be any diffrence in creation from Module to Module (or) Transaction (Vs) Transaction. Just like Sales Order (Vs) Purchase Order (Vs) Production Order.

Steps for output type:
Go to NACE Transaction
Select V1 - Sales.
Click Output type
In edit mode , click on new entries.
Give output type as ZA01 with some descp.
Then enter , then u need to give the Access seq. as 0010
Rest proprties are more and less similar to the BA00 standard output type in V1 only.
After that u need to give the processing routines.
In that u need to give the Program name
followed by Form routine name
In this way u can create the output from NACE tran.

what is this output type?why it is needed?
i have developed a print prog for exise invoice
but not used output type anywhere to see the output of the form.
so my question is when this output type is reqired and when not?
whther i should create output type for the above print program also. whether it is good practice to have output type? if yes why and how can we create output type for my above program?

Hi,
quite interesting question, but difficult to put it in nutsehll.
Definition
An output type (or also a "condition type") summarizes messages of the same meaning. It contains parameters that are valid for all its assigned messages, for example appropriate partner functions.
BA00 (order confirmation), MAIL (internal message), KRML (credit limit exceeded)
Use
For each transmission medium, one form routine in a program is assigned to the output type. This form routine is called for processing the message (message status record).
For transmission medium 7: SAPoffice mail you can assign the output type title and text of mails which are used as default values in the condition records, that is to say, in the messages.

Go to FBZP
click on printmethods in company code
click on position
give Company code and payment method
then in the next screen double click on the payment method
This way you will get to see the forms assigned to it.

Output types in SAP script

Hi experts,
                  what are output types ? and how can we fetch the name of script program and SAP script layout using output type only.
                                         For example if the out type is LD0010 the how can i get the program name and script name of this particular output type.

Use TNAPR table. Enter your ouputtype in KSCHL.
Then you can see NACHA - Message transmission medium i.e., Printout / fax / etc
                           KAPPL - Application ie.e, sales / shipping,
                           PGNAM - Program name,
                           FONAM- Form name

Creation of OUTPUT Types for a smartform.

Please give me complete step by step process of output type cretion and configuration of a smartform.
I have the idea that it is created from NACE. But when I am creating the same..I am coming accross tabs like General DATA,Default Values,Time, etc. I want to know the exact meanings of each .
And what to be filled in each case.
Can any one provide me any documents or link for the same., with detailed description..

Instead of creating a new one, you can copy the existing standard output type and then configure the smartform.
To copy the existing output type...Just select the application and then choose output types button. Now, just enter the change mode...then select one output type and click copy button... Keep the values as it is,change the name and save it.

Output type for IDOC creation

Hi Sapgurus,
Can anybody help as per below.
Client has third party interface system from which they access stock data from SAP system to front end system.They required stock quantity.As per below transaction I have to create output type for IDOC creation for below t codes.Pls guide for creating output type.
Note: Consider as per MM point of view.Output type is not for printout,It is for IDOC to display stock at front end system.

In NACE tcode u can create output type with medium as EDI,
u can assign the entry sub routine as ENTRY_EDI in RNASTED

Regarding output type for billing doc

i have one billing doc. i want to find out type for that billing doc. through that i need to find the program name and form name.
i have lot of out put types. In that how to find the out put for my requirement

HI pavan,
It is not a good idea to check with the Program name or Layout set name without knowing the OUtput types because, Billing docu number can work with multiple Output types...you never know it. So in your case to check TNAPR table would be the best option...but again it is never recomended to go ahead without knowing the output type.
And for one Output type there will be only one smart form/ script form and a Zprogram will be configured.
It is not possible to configure multiple Smart forms for a same Output type.
You can use single smart form in Multiple Output types but not single output type for diff Smart forms.
Try to either know the smart form/script from name or the Zprogram so that you can search it in TNAPR table or by using Where used list icon.

To know the print program and output type for a standard script we have a table called TNAPR. So just you go to SE11 and provide the table name as TNAPR and choose display option.Then go with display entries option and in selection screen you have to provide the form name for whic you want to know the print program and output type.
To modify a standard script first of all you have to copy the standard form for which you need modifications into Zform. Once you done this you can modify the layout set as per your requirement.Then what ever the modifications you have done in layout set for that you need to populate the data.For this you also need to do some modifications to the print program.so you have to options like directly you can modify the print program as per your requirement and other one is you can create a subroutine and do coding in that subroutine. Then you need call this subroutine in the Script Form.like this you can do modifications to the standard script........................... Reward me if its helpful..........

Output type for MB1B & MB1C-IDOC creation

I have to make output type for MB1B & MB1C transaction to create IDOC.Can anybody guide path to create Output type for same.

Hi anupmore124,
You can create a new condition type, named as "ZWA1" and you can copied this from WA01.
Once this is copied, change the following data:
1. In partner functions, include:
Medium: 6 - EDI
Funciton: (blank)
You can delete the other partner function(s), if you want that this new output message type can be handled only by EDI (for IDOCs).
2. In the "General data" tab, you need to have selected only:
Access sequence: i.e. 0003 - Trans.Type/Print Vers./Indic.
Check box active "Access to conditions"
The rest of the check box needs to be inactive.
3. In the "Default" tab, define:
Dispatch time: 1 - Send with periodically scheduled job
Transmission medium: 6 - EDI
Then, save the data and now, the IDOC can be created.
Obviously, I presume that you made your customising before in WE20 with the correct IDOC message type, etc.

Creating output type for MB01,MB1B & MB1C for IDOC

Dear Exoerts,
Here scenarion is client using interface at front end.Which provides backup data from SAP.
Can anybody guide to Create output type for transactions MB01,MB1B & MB1C.It is going to use for IDOC creation.Client wants Inventory program at front end system.
