Regarding how to use bcd table control
hi ,
this is raghu
pls send to me about bdctable control process and source code
VAL = VAL + 1.
CONCATENATE : 'KNVK-NAME1(' VAL ')' INTO INAME1,
'KNVK-NAMEV(' VAL ')' INTO INAMEV.
perform bdc_field using INAMEV
's'.
W_MAILID-NAMEV.
perform bdc_field using INAME1
'sd'.
W_MAILID-NAME1.
inamev is the variable i declared , actually in recording u will be getting like this KNVK-NAME1(01)..
here the count 01 should be increased for table control fields, to increase the count i have declared the variable val and i am passing the variable with the structure into variable iname1 ...

How to create a table control from a program internal table
Hi all,
I try to create a table control that matches following requirements :
- the source table is an internal table from program (not a dictionary table)
- I need to specify my own column header titles
- the fields need to be editable
- some of the columns fields must be displayed as checkboxes, other one as texts
When I try using "Table Control WIth Wizard", the generated TabControl has the expected columns titles but the fields are not displayed as checkboxes. Moreoever, when I look at "Dictionnary, program Fields list", the table fields choosed using wizard are locked (a padlock is displayed in front of the line) So, I can not check "checkbox display"
When I try using simple Table Control -I mean without ALV-, I can use the "checkbox display" for wanted fields but I don't know how to specify the resquired columns headers titles
So, could you please help me ? How to do both : maage columsn header titles and display some of the columns as checkboxes ?
thanks for help
Regards
morganHi Morgan,
Create an Interanal Table in Top Include and activate it first. Then go the Screen Layout and Drag and Drop a Table control.
Enter a name like TC. now press F6 (Dictionary/Program Fields Window). Enter the Interanal Table and Press
Get From Program Push button. Select the required Columns and transfer them. Double click on the Table Control Area only (any corner of the TC) now you get attribute window POP UP. now select the check box for with column Header or remove the available column header and place your own Text Field and give meaningful Text for them. With in the Table control you can Drag and Drop a Check Box which will occupy all the rows. Make sure you include one more column in the TOP include type C with length one.
Hope this is very Clear to YOU.
Cheers

The layout of screen 100 is:
A resizable table control called FLIGHTS is defined. The fields of the table control are transferred from the structure DEMO_CONN in the ABAP Dictionary. The first two columns are lead columns. The corresponding fields are output fields. A title bar, column headers, and a selection column are created. The component MARK of type character with length 1 from structure DEMO_CONN is assigned to the selection column. You can select one column and several lines.
It has the following flow logic:
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE status_0100.
LOOP WITH CONTROL flights.
MODULE fill_table_control.
ENDLOOP.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
MODULE cancel AT EXIT-COMMAND.
LOOP WITH CONTROL flights.
MODULE read_table_control.
ENDLOOP.
MODULE user_command_0100.
The system executes a loop at PBO and PAI using the table control FLIGHTS. During the PBO loop, a module is called to fill the table control from table ITAB of the ABAP program. During the PAI loop, a module is called to modify table ITAB.
Before the PBO loop, in the module STATUS_0100 the current number of lines of the internal table ITAB is placed in component LINES of control structure FLIGHTS. This helps the system to correctly install the scroll bar of the table control.
During the PBO loop, in the module FILL_TABLE_CONTROL the work area DEMO_CONN is filled with values from the internal table, where the row index corresponds to the current row of the table control.
During the PAI loop, in the module READ_TABLE_CONTROL the current number of the loop SY-LOOPC in the table control is placed an auxiliary variable. The number is dependent on the size of the screen. The rows of the internal table, whose row index corresponds to the current row of the table control, are overwritten with the contents of the work area DEMO_CONN. User input is transferred from the input fields of the control to the internal table. In particular, the internal table also contains a flag in the column MARK to indicate whether the row of the table control is selected or not.
After the PAI loop, user input is processed in the module USER_COMMAND. The GUI status SCREEN_100 provides the appropriate function codes. You can scroll line by line or page by page, or Goto the first or last page. You can implement scrolling by setting the component TOP_LINE of control structure FLIGHTS. For page-by-page scrolling the auxiliary variable that is filled in the PAI loop by SY-LOOPC is used as the step size. -

How to refresh the table control on some action
Hi All,
In a web Dynpro application, I am filling data to the Table control through Supply function. When I do some action (like save new record ) i want to refresh the table control means add the newly added record.
How to refresh the Table control.
Thanks
Hemalathahi hema........
if you are using a select query inside the supply function...
then...
you can just use node->invalidate(). method..
it just invalidates the node that is bound to the table.
so the supply function will be called again, which again uses the select query to fetch the values.. so that your table gets refreshed.

How to use the custom control ?
Hi Friends,

Screen Elements
A screen can contain a wide variety of elements, either for displaying field contents, or for allowing the user to interact with the program (for example, filling out input fields or choosing pushbutton functions). You use the Screen Painter to arrange elements on the screen.
You can use the following elements:
· Text fields
Display elements, which cannot be changed either by the user or by the ABAP program.
· Input/output fields and templates
Used to display data from the ABAP program or for entering data on the screen. Linked to screen fields.
· Dropdown list boxes
Special input/output fields that allow users to choose one entry from a fixed list of possible entries.
· Checkbox elements
Special input/output fields that the user can either select (value X) or deselect (value SPACE). Checkbox elements can be linked with function codes.
· Radio button elements
Special input/output fields that are combined into groups. Within a radio button group, only a single button can be selected at any one time. When the user selects one button, all of the others are automatically deselected. Radio button elements can be linked with function codes.
· Pushbuttons
Elements on the screen that trigger the PAI event of the screen flow logic when chosen by the user. There is a function code attached to each pushbutton, which is passed to the ABAP program when it is chosen.
· Frame
Pure display elements that group together elements on the screen, such as radio button groups.
· Subscreens
Area on the screen in which you can place another screen.
· Table controls
Tabular input/output fields.
· Tabstrip controls
Areas on the screen in which you can switch between various pages.
· Custom Controls
Areas on the screen in which you can display controls. Controls are software components of the presentation server.
· Status icons
Display elements, indicating the status of the application program.
· OK field
Every screen has a twenty-character OK_CODE field (also known as the function code field) that is not displayed directly on the screen. User actions that trigger the PAI event also place the corresponding function code into this field, from where it is passed to the ABAP program. You can also use the command field in the standard toolbar to enter the OK field. To be able to use the OK field, you need to assign a name to it.
All screen elements have a set of attributes, some of which are set automatically, others of which have to be specified in the Screen Painter. They determine things such as the layout of the screen elements on the screen. You can set the attributes of screen elements in the Screen Painter - either for a single element, or using the element list, which lists all of the elements belonging to the current screen. Some of the attributes that you set statically in the Screen Painter can be overwritten dynamically in the ABAP program.

How to create Dynamic Table Control
Hi
How to create Dynamic Table control , The field names and values to be displayed in table control are to be fetched from Add-on Tables.
Regards
PrasathHi Jonathan,
Actually the columns to be displayed are not constant . It will be increased based on the database values, Anyhow it will not exceed 100.
Please confirm my understanding.
1. In this case I have to create 100 custom columns and make it visible / invisible based on my requirement and I can set the title at runtime.
2. How can i assosicate / reassociate the datadictionary reference for the columns that i use. Because I need to show the search help values for the
dynamic columns.
Your opinion on this will be helpful.

How to use the table maintenance events for validating the input entries..?
Hi,
I have created a Z table with 6 fields in which all are KEY fields. All are of CHAR type. I have created the Table Maintenance Generator for the same. While maintaining the entries in the table, even though I maintain a blank entry for a field it is saving the entry. But, I don't want that way. All the fields are mandatory in my table. One should enter all the fields. Otherwise it should not allow to save the entry. So, I think it can be done using the Table Maintenance Events. can someone tell me how to use the Table Maintenance Events. and which event to use for my reuqirement and what is the logic to be written.
Or Is there any other way to solve my problem.
Please share your inputs. Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
paddu.In the table maintenance generator, Environment --> Modifications --> Events then a screen will be appear here,we need to create the Events.In the EVENTS screen, press new Entries, there give 01(Before Saving the Data in the Database) and give a name(This will become a PERFORM), then click the Editor pushbutton, this will be there at the right side of the entry, then a popup will be appear, you can create an include program, there inside of the include program write ur code.
Here is documentation for Event 01(Before Saving the Data in the Database )
Event 01: Before Saving the Data in the Database
Use
This event occurs before new, changed or deleted entries are written to the database. Other activities can be performed, for example:
hidden entry processing
fill hidden fields
flag data to be written to hidden tables after the database change.
To have the changes saved by the central maintenance dialog routines, SY-SUBRC must be set to 0 at the end of the routine.
Realization
This event has no standard routine. The following global data is available for the realization of the user routine:
internal table TOTAL
field symbols
field symbols <ACTION> and <ACTION_TEXT>
<STATUS>-UPD_FLAG
If internal table data are to be changed before saving, t he changes should be made in both the internal table TOTAL and in the internal table EXTRACT.
FORM abc.
DATA: F_INDEX LIKE SY-TABIX. "Index to note the lines found
LOOP AT TOTAL.
IF <ACTION> = desired constant.
READ TABLE EXTRACT WITH KEY <vim_xtotal_key>.
IF SY-SUBRC EQ 0.
F_INDEX = SY-TABIX.
ELSE.
CLEAR F_INDX.
ENDIF.
(make desired changes to the line TOTAL)
MODIFY TOTAL.
CHECK F_INDX GT 0.
EXTRACT = TOTAL.
MODIFY EXTRACT INDEX F_INDX.
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.
SY-SUBRC = 0.
ENDFORM.

How to create a table control in Business HTML??
Hi All,
I dont have much knowledge about Business HTML. Can anyone tell me how to create a table control. The requirement is to accept two fields from user and then on click of a button get these values populated on a table control. Can u pls help me out on this??
Also to create the table, I tried using SAPTemplateTableBegin()functions, but using these functions gives me an error. Is the because the standard SAP template files does not exist or what??Hi Raja,
My first approach was the same as u said but the issue is when i try to generate a template i.e. (system generated template), the generated template uses standard TemplateLibraryDHTML.html functions like `SAP_TemplateHeader()`
`SAP_BodyContentBegin()`
`SAP_FormBegin()`
The above all is not supported in our client's ITS and so we have to manually create a table control using the step loop functions in DHTML and correspondingly FIELD-SET in ABAP.
We could successfully do this but as i mentioned in my previous message, we still have to make the table entries editable and refresh the internal table when the values in the table are changed.
Pls help!!
Rgds,
Swapna. -

How to Use a table UI for input ?
Hi All ,
I just want to ask how to use a Table UI in webdynpro ABAP to insert , change and delete rows ?? and can we give a drop down facility in table columns ? . This is really urgent .
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
LASHi LAS,
Everything is possible. I am providing the logic here which will help you a lot.
For insert, Change, Delete:
Just get the all the elements into temp internal table and get the lead slected index. Now instrt one row in the lead selected index position. then again bind the temporary internal table to your table node. Thats all it works like inserting the row.
In the same way you can do the change and delete rows also.
For Dropdown:
Here i am providing the code for Dropdown. It will help you out.
Just create the Dropdown view for the columns for which you want dropdown. And do the coding for that.
Here in my scenario IT is the Table node which holds the information. And i am providing the dorpdown key for the column "BSCHL".
If you have any dobts just reply to me . i will respond it.
Code:
data : ls_outtab type /kyk/s_fb01_line,
lt_outtab type table of /kyk/s_fb01_line,
lv_node_sd type ref to if_wd_context_node,
lv_node_it type ref to if_wd_context_node,
lv_node_info type ref to if_wd_context_node_info,
lv_node_sapmf05a_0106 type ref to if_wd_context_node,
lv_node_waers type ref to if_wd_context_node,
lv_node_layout type ref to if_wd_context_node,
lv_rowcount type i,
lv_buzei type i,
lv_waers type waers,
lt_bschl_set type wdy_key_value_table,
bschl_key_item type wdy_key_value.
bind to context
lv_node_sd = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'SD' ).
lv_node_it = lv_node_sd->get_child_node( name = 'IT' ).
call method lv_node_it->bind_table
EXPORTING
new_items = lt_outtab.
fill Dropdown Help for posting Key
bschl_key_item-key = '40'.
bschl_key_item-value = cl_wd_utilities=>get_otr_text_by_alias( '/KYK/FIN_FI/DEBIT_GL_ACCOUNT' ).
insert bschl_key_item into table lt_bschl_set.
bschl_key_item-key = '50'.
bschl_key_item-value = cl_wd_utilities=>get_otr_text_by_alias( '/KYK/FIN_FI/CREDIT_GL_ACCOUNT' ).
insert bschl_key_item into table lt_bschl_set.
bschl_key_item-key = '21'.
bschl_key_item-value = cl_wd_utilities=>get_otr_text_by_alias( '/KYK/FIN_FI/DEBITVENDOR' ).
insert bschl_key_item into table lt_bschl_set.
bschl_key_item-key = '31'.
bschl_key_item-value = cl_wd_utilities=>get_otr_text_by_alias( '/KYK/FIN_FI/CREDITVENDOR' ).
insert bschl_key_item into table lt_bschl_set.
lv_node_info = lv_node_it->get_node_info( ).
lv_node_info->set_attribute_value_set( name = 'BSCHL' value_set = lt_bschl_set ).

How to use Temporary Table in PL-SQL
In MySQL there is no Temporary table concept.
So for intermediate calculation I have created a table as below
create table SequenceTempTable
SessionId VARCHAR(50),
Sequence VARCHAR(500),
CreatedDate DATE
) ENGINE=MEMORY;
Whenever I invoke a SP, I load the data into SequenceTempTable using Session Id as below
CREATE PROCEDURE `GetSequence`(
IN Start_Date VARCHAR(25),
IN End_Date VARCHAR(25)
BEGIN
SELECT UUID() INTO v_SessionId;
INSERT INTO SequenceTempTable values (v_SessionId,'1,2,5,3',now());
required code
DELETE FROM SequenceTempTable WHERE SessionId = v_SessionId;
COMMIT;
END;
i.e. I have created a table as temporary table (created once),
and load the data using Session Id and once session specific intermediate computation done,
I deleted the session specific data.
Could you give me examples of How to use Temporary table in PL-SQL code with respect to my above example.
Because I have gone through creating Temporary table but I stuck with use in PL-SQL. I mean to say Is there any need of creating table in advance before invoking SP.
And one more thing as in MySQL temp table I created which is using MEMORY engine i.e. this table will always be in MEMORY so there is no need of writing data on disk.
Regards
SanjeevHi Sanjeev
Read about GTT here
http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/8i/TemporaryTables.php
GTT always contains just session specific data. \
In case you want to use the GTT in the same session again you can use option
ON COMMIT PRESERVE ROWS;
Or if it is used just once in the session use can use
ON COMMIT DELETE ROWS;
Do remember that for GTT the data of one session can not be accessed in other session.
Also you can go away with Delete from GTT if not used again in same session.

Arun
