While doing migo im gettign the error "Please ammend PO to new Tax code"

Hi,
Check whether anybody has changed the tax procedure or the procedure is removed for the Country.
Or if you are working on CIN, then check the J1id settings and excise defaults.
Also check the default tax code assignment to the company code under Logistics general ->
Tax on goods movements->India ....

  • Excise Invoice Tab is not display in MIGO for Cancelled document

    Hi,
    We are execuating the incoming excise cycle then in MIGO and J1IEX.It is perfectly working.But in case of cancellation the excise tab is not dispplaying in MIGO.We are using option "Only Capture and Both Capture & Post".Whatever the excise captured and Posted , it is updated in Excise Invoice tab in MIGO.
    As per my understanding the excise tab should come for cancelled doucment also.

    You are correct it won'y come for 102 but it will come for 101.But it is not coming for 101 .It is not coming when we cancelled the document.

    If it is not coming for 101 movement type
    check following point
    1) tax code in PO ,all excise condition should be there
    2) Maintain chapter ID material combination in J1ID
    3) Maintain Vendor and Plant excise details in J1ID

  • Settings for capture excise invoice in MIGO and other settings

      For excise invoice capture and post procedure which we are following is as follow
    1 : For Local Excise invoice
         After receving goods from Vendor  first we are Doing J1IEX Part 1,  Capture excise invoice  after saving this we are getting part 1 number,  then we are making GR with MB01 ref. to part 1 number , then qyuality inspection then updating material in Unrestricted stock from quality  afetr that we are doing J1IEX  poat  PART 2  here we are getting part 2 number  then invoice verification,
    2 : For import PO
          First MIRO for custom delivery cost we are getting MIRO number,  then J1IEX part 1 ref. to MIRO number and year  then MB01, ref. to part 1 of J1IEX then quality quality to store then J1IEX Part 2 then MIRO for vendor.
    now in many thread i read about capture invoice in MIGO   so i want to know the detail settings which required to be made so that we can perform our ruoutin in short time.

    You can do capture and post simultaniously in migo only
    the separate transaction is given as persons or users  may be diffrent for GR and excise
    if the same user want to do the GR and cap and posting then yes he can
    for capture and posting u also have to tick Post Excise Invoice Captured in MIGO in excise grp settings

    While creating MIGO transaction against a PO I am getting this error continously
    PL Stock in transit exceeded by 12 PC : QS8X20 2100 2110 9000000010
    I dont know what to do.??

    I still unable to understand where the problem lies
    See for a while forget about ME2M and check you PO in ME23N T-code you are getting your Po or not
    IF not then while saving PO,system giving any message to you?

  • Error while cancelling a document in MIGO

    Hi all,
    while cancelling a document in MIGO, i am getting a error like
    "The price for material mat-004 will be negative".
    while checking, there will be no error. but while posting, this type of error is comming.
    plz suggest where i am doing mistake.

      in MM03, i saw there is 3 fields for ' per unit price ' in ACCOUNTING1.
    which price it is taking as material price?
    In test server, i tried to cancel a document having info record price = $ 2 and
    material price = $ 230 sgd .it is cancelled.i am getting 3 price in accounting1 of MM03.
    those are
    Company code currency-$230 sgd
    Hard currency----
    $230 sgd
    Index-based currency----$0.12 usd
    i am able to cancel this document in test server though it is having different price  at info & material level.
    from the above 3 fields, which field it is taking for material price?
    at every time we, will give the material price, the info price should be automatically updated.what is the need to change the info price?
    plz give a clear idea.i am having confusion.

    If you receive a free-of-charge delivery from a vendor without a PO having been issued beforehand, you post the free delivery as an other goods receipt.
    In the standard system, you specify a text and a vendor for each item. This control for the Text and Vendor fields can be changed depending on the movement type 511 in Customizing for Inventory Management and Physical
    Inventory under Settings for Enjoy Transactions→ Settings for Goods Movements
    (MIGO)→ Field Selection Per Movement Type.
    for mvt 511, vendor number and text are required fields.
    in migo select;
    GOODS RECEIPT and OTHER and mvt 511
    give the material number, vendor number, plant, SLOC, qty,
    in text field you can write any text you feel like, type say free goods
    select item ok tick
    post.
    there should not be any issue.

  • Value difference for GR/IR Clearing Account in case of MIGO and MIRO.

    One of our client has asked me about clarification regarding GR/IR Clearing Account shows different values when MIGO and MIRO posting. Scenario is that,

    Whereas it is taking Rs. 22,19,092
    My concern is that GR/IR Clearing Account consider only Material cost and non deductible tax amount i.e. CST which is loaded on material cost but system consider some different values, please check the above calculation. When user post MIRO in that case system automatically konck off GR/IR Clearing Account and post difference amount i.e. RS. 4279 to Inventory Account which is wrong. I dont know how system behaves in such manner.
    Please giude me on this issue as soon as possible.

    Hi Friends,
    GRN’s (Good receipt notifications) created in DHL (Non SAP system) will need to be communicated to SAP.
    I need to post goods receipt using input data in MIGO. Is there any BAPI that i can use.The requirement is like below:
    PO number field in output file is checked against entries in EKKO-EBELN, if a match is found the GR is posted against a Purchase Order otherwise LIKP-VBELN is checked and if a match is found GR is posted against an Outbound Delivery.
              If PO Number = EKKO-EBELN    GR against Purchase Order
                            = LIKP-VBELN      GR against Outbound Delivery
    Based on the above condition I need to create a Goods Receipt. 
    Could you please tell me the GM code, movement types and the required fields to be passed for the BAPI?
    The fields available are with us are...
    Header text. - Bill of Lading- Posting Date-Quantity- UOM--- Vendor Batch / Batch / Serial No --- PO Number or Delivery Number… SLED
    Are these fields sufficient for doing MIGO with the BAPI or do we require more fields???
    Please provide sample code if possible.

  • Actual Cost of finished goods in MIGO

    Hi,
    The value of Finished material in FI Document generated in MIGO takes the (Goods Receipt Quantity) X (Planned/Moving average Price from material master), Where as it should take the Total Actual Price calculated after Order Confirmation Based on Actual Material Purchase Price & Actual Activity Posting Value.
    For example:
    Present scenario
    Material-> MIGO QTY>Moving Avg Price -->MIGO FI Document Value
    Finished> 1000  EA> Rs. 10/ EA--
    >Rs. 10,000=00
    Required Scenario:
    MIGO FI Document value= (Purchase Value of Raw Material)+ ((Activity Posted while Confirmation)X(Activity price))

    What u said is right Mr Kapil.. See when u do GR From Production Order System Calculate Moving Price or Planned Price from
    material Matser .
    As per ur Reuirement u told it should calculate (Raw Material Price + activity+OVHD).
    it is possible only when order quantity is less , suppose say your order qty is 150 mt per day and your Plant capacity is 500mt
    per day production will be done in a half day, sale can be done on same day after Production with the formula what u told.
    If suppose say , Your order is 2000 ton of Oil , it will take u to complete 4 days for your Total production as you told, GR should
    be done on (Raw Material Price + activity+OVHD) formula, you dont know exact activity price for 2000 ton until u finish your total
    production, at the same time until u do GR sales cannot be done. So in SAP Gr is intially done on Moving Average Or Planned
    (Standard Price) , After totla Prodcution GR is Compared with Actual Cost(Raw Material Price + activity+OVHD)= :"Variance".
    Plus are MInus is Reduced or added to Finished Goods Account or PP account during Settlement.

  • Preventing disabling of check box - item okay in MIGO

    Dear all,
    In the MIGO transaction - during goods receipt for subcontractor material, when the item (incoming) is checked as item okay - automatically the child material (Material sent to subcontractor) is also activated thereby to enable 543 movement.
    Unfortunately some of the users are disabling the check box (for the material sent to the subcontractor). This prevents depletion of stock from the subcontractor but inflates the stock of the incoming material.
    Is there any way - either by authorisation check to prevent users disabling the check box or other methods?
    Experts suggestion is required in this regard.

    it is possible. use Badi enhancement
    MB_MIGO_BADI goto
    IF_EX_MB_MIGO_BADI~POST_DOCUMENT
    tell your abaper to put the logic like
    parent ID and subcomponent ID need to select
    if either of two is not selected
    then error message will prompt not to save the GR doc since subcomponent is unselected.
    reference field EKPO check PSTYP

    We have upgraded R3 4.7 to ECC 6.0 now we required in MIGO transaction Excise Item tab Indicator for Material type we need to change the description of this as RAW MATERIAL to INPUT MATERIAL and Consumable to Capital Goods which is in R3 4.7
    Please suggest me any config.

    Hi,
    The above material type showing in MIGO screen, as you already declared the material under which material category in J1ID & so then value flowing.
    You can not change here  &  you have few options to declared the material under which material categories.
    You can keep all raw material as raw material & Consumable as asset.
    But if your business needed very much, Just have a discuss with ABAPer for your requirement.

    Define Shipping Data
    Define/assign Checking rule
    Assign Delivery Type
    Assign Doc type
    I have maintained the following pre-requisite master data
    1. Supplying/Receiving plants are created as customer/vendor master
    2. Excise details (customer/Vendor/Plant) data are maintained in J1ID
    3. Assessable value is entered in J1ID
    Process flow:
    1. ME21n - Create STO (PO type:UB)
    2. VL10B - Create Outbound Delivery
    3. VL02N - PGI
    4. VF01 - Create Pro-forma Invoice (Stock Transfer Invoice)
    5. J1IIN - Post Excise Invoice
    at the receiving Plant
    6. MIGO-Post Goods Receipt.
    After entering the excise invoice and clicking on CHECK button in MIGO, the following errors are appearing
    1. Excise Details are not maintained for Vendor .-Message no. 8I565
    2. Maintain Vendor for the excise invoice -Message no. 4F185
    3. Please check excise base for the item is zero ! -Message no. 4F121

         As excise in calculated on Base amount for Item so need to maintain Pricing for item then only it will be able to calculate
      or if u dont want to item not  to be relevent for pricing then make Excise condition type as manual an maintain it manually .

    Hi Anbu..
    Post Migo without excise entry and try in J1IG to post the excise invoice.
    In J1iG..enter material doc of GR ,Excise invoice no from Manufac plant,check own plant and
    Click Details to get the excise values as in excise invoice.

  • MM - Goods Receipt (MIGO) and Validity Period End (Contracts and PO)

    Hi Gurus,
    Within our PO process, I created a PO which references a contract. Both have a Validy Period Start and End set up in customizing and filled in. But my problem is that I can still enter a Goods Receipt in MIGO to that PO, after validity has ended. I've set up in customizing the system message 06-041 as Error, and I've put in Screen Layout the checkbox 'GR message' for both PO and Contract.
    Is there a way to block the GR threw IMG outside of the Validity Period ?

  • MIGO - Goods Receipt against Purchase order. PO rate dispaly.

    Is it possible to display purchase order line item rate in MIGO - Goods Receipt against purchase order - Quantity tab.
    In Quantity tab - System is showing Qty in Unit of Entry, Qty in SKU, Qty in Delivery Note, Quantity Ordered, alongwith these fields we also want display of Purchase order rate/each of that line item.
    Please guide.

    BTW you are getting PO number at MIGO and clicking over that you will get entire PO then why you want PO rate display here??
