Reinstall Muse

Hello. Muse crashed constantly when embedding YouTube video. So I removed Muse in order to reinstall. But I am not able to do this. The application manager says Muse is up to date. How can I reinstall Muse?

You can go to following links and download the latest version of Muse as per your operating system:
For windows: http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_win
For Mac: http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_mac
Once downloaded, you can install it and launch Adobe Muse, it will ask for your Adobe ID. Put in the Adobe ID credentials with which you have purchased Adobe Muse or Creative Cloud.

    How do you reinstall Muse if it says it is already installed in the creative cloud manager? I noticed there were two versions indicated in 'Revo Uninstaller Pro' - version 5 and version 6. So, I uninstalled both figuring it would be simple to reinstall the latest version.
    However, as I said, the CC manager says it is 'Up to Date'. It's not! It's been uninstalled.

    If you do, go ahead with the uninstall. If you don't, skip the uninstall step.

    Computer crashed and had to uninstall Muse now need to reinstall. My download page showing my products only shows the Premiere monthly subscription - Muse is not there at all. I need to reinstall Muse and the only thing I see is the trial version on the site. I should be able to find Muse since I'm paying for it to redownload. My business is dead in the water. Please help.     Just download the trial. There's no difference between the trial and subscription download. The difference comes when you sign in with your Adobe ID. You should be able to sign in using your existing subscription.

    I know that its not there, but still there might be some traces of Muse still present on your machine, thats why its getting picked when you try to install
    In this case, try this :
    1. Download Adobe Cleaner tool from here : http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
    2. Run this tool as mentioned in the above link.
    3. Restart machine and then try downloading and installing Muse again.

    What is the complete error message? Are you using Windows or Mac? Did you try to disable anti virus while installing Adobe Muse?

    Thanks for the great solution. After uninstalling Muse using the uninstaller, the Adobe Application Manager allowed me to download the Muse application. However I recieved an error message "Installation Failed" - when I pressed the triangle to the right for more inforamtion it said, "Error writing to temporary file location. If this problem persists contact customer service". (-70)
    I've been getting the "Installation Failed" message when I've tried to Update other programs since I started this thread. I hadn't mentikoned it until now, because I wanted to stick with the problem of The Adobe Udater telling me that Muse was "up to date".
    Since that has been resolved, now perhaps you have some instight into why I am receiving the  "Installaiotn Failed" message.

    Jesus Christ! What a cunting piece of **** this program is! I won't even get into the issues, but suffice to say, Muse is simply crawling with bugs. Now I can't even reinstall the goddam thing! Unlike Photoshop etc. that has an uninstall feature in CC, Muse does not. Or at least it doesn't show up on my hard drive. Can anyone advise me as to how I can uninstall this piece of **** so that I can try reinstalling it. Sorry for the vulgarity, but I'm severely frustrated, and lately the Adobe website has taken on all the customer service convenience of Microsoft... in other words, HORRIBLY difficult to find answers and help.

  • Unable to Reinstall Muse

    The other day, I was attempting to launch Adobe Muse, and was prompted to download the latest update. I would upload the update, and Muse would appear to begin to launch its splash page. Right before the splash page would show, I would be informed that I needed another update. So I would upload the next update. I did this process (updates galore) about four times, before Muse tells me that my "subscription has expired".
    I am using the Adobe Cloud, and have a year long subscription. My dues have been paid for this month. Seeing that I was unable to launch Adobe Muse, and de-activate it, I went ahead and uninstalled it from my computer entirely. I was under the impression, that my Adobe Manager would realize that it doesn't exist on my computer, and would prompt something. Whether it would let me know that something is wrong, or "hey, update me". Except, my Adobe Manager Application still thinks that I have Adobe Muse "updated", and I have no way to upload it...
    I inquired with the 24hr/7days a week chat two days ago, and the Technical Team was unavailable. Adobe Muse is a part of my package that I am paying for, and would like a way to reinstall it. What do I have to do to do this?

    I had to uninstall Muse from my Wintows 8 p.c.  I cannot now re-install from the CC apps area or the Desktop Creative cloud app.  CC treats my download request with a status of downloaded.

    I had muse installed but had to uninstall it.  Now i want to install again, but i can't.  CC still thinks it is on my computer, so it is listed on the top in the "my apps" section.  there is no download there.  If i try and go to the website to download it just opens CC and the process repeats.

    The reason can be that it has not been uninstalled completely.
    1.Please uninstall it completely
    Windows:
    Open the Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features
    Choose an app and click Uninstall/Change
    Check the preference box if present
    Follow the on-screen instructions
    Mac:
    Open Finder and go to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers
    Check the preference box
    Click on uninstall /Double-click an Adobe product to remove
    Follow on-screen instructions

    You can also use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to uninstall : http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
    Now do log out & Log back in of the CC App(Desktop), you should get the download option.

    I've been incredibly frustrated since the new Muse CC 2014 installed, because a widget I'd downloaded and used heavily - FlipCard - became invisible in the Design mode.     Since Muse has only been offering me the "trial version" since this CC2014 installation as well, I thought perhaps a new install might straighten things out. But it's not so simple. Do I have to uninstall first? I have nightmares that I won't be able to install again, or some such. And where are the Assets? I can't find where  the "new" Muse is storing stuff so I can back it up, everything is completely changed from the old Muse, from the directory where it's installed to where the App Data is.
    Anyone prepared to lead me by the hand to do this?

    PS unless of course someone can solve the problems without resorting to a new install? 

    I found out that I had a panic kernelling problem...and it had to do with audio plug ins. The cause of this was that I was trying to make more room on my computer and deleted a lot of files, which caused the headache. I re-loaded the software that came with the computer...that is when I saw the kernel problem...and then, I called Apple support because my computer then locked up. I was able to restore the computer from a previous backup...however, the problem that I created took almost all day and late into the evening to correct. Now that everything is up and running, I decided not to try to delete any more files, and will back up my work whenever I can.
    By the way, what is the LPX program and how does that work?
