Related Information Section Settings

Hello everyone,
I have Accounts (renamed-Schools) with Contacts & Service Requests as the related information sections on the detail page. I added a custom applet - Google Maps to the Account Detail Page.
My question is that by default the sections are expanded and display the information it holds. Is there any setting or other way such that they are by default minimized and only expand when you click on the [+] sign so that it takes up less space and reduces scrolling?

gmshah, you can close any of the related sections and then logout and log back in and those sections will be closed (it remembers what you want open or closed).

  • Error in Account related information sections Access denied.(SBL-DAT-00553)

    Hi,
    I have 2 users, 1 from Spain and the other from Italy.
    The spanish user is the owner of an account and adds the user from italy to the account team section with full access to the account.
    The italian user is able to view the account. However the italian user is not able to view any of the custom objects in the related information sections below the account information.
    The error is as follows:
    Access denied.(SBL-DAT-00553)
    Both users have the same role. However, if he/she is not the owner of the account but only a 'Team' member, he's able to view the account but not the CO's below the account. I've checked the access profiles and roles and it all seems fine. Oracle support confirmed this as well as both users were able to search and view the CO records without any issues. It's just that it hits the error if it's in the related information section.
    I was just wondering if I'm missing any settings for customer team.
    Currently, I'm not even sure if Customer team functionality was built for use with custom objects in related information sections.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi, What i meant is, if you are using C04 - C015 objects, then ensure under related sections of Accounts in "Full" access profile, you set it as "View" or "Read-Only" instead of "No Access". "No Access" is what being set by OnDemand by default even though the access profile is named as "Full"

  • Opportunity Product-Revenue related information section

    Hi,
    We are going to use the 'Product Revenue' related information section on the Opportunity for Products & Services. Hence, we want to rename this section to 'Products & Services' instead of 'Product Revenue'. I tried to change the name of the Object Type Revenue, but that is not possible using the 'Rename Object Type' function. Does anyone know whether it is possible to change the name and how to do it.

  • Territories Related Information Section

    Hi All
    In the Automotive edition, on the Dealer detail page, there is a Territories related information section that does not appear to be linked to the Territories that I have set up in my Territory Management. Are these not the same? Am not sure if I have misunderstood something or is this an error?

    You will need to replicate your territories again via "Record Type Setup" -> "Dealer Territory Field Setup" -> Edit Picklist of field "Name".

  • Access to Related Information Section

    Hi,
    I am not able to edit the Opportunity Accounts related information in the Opportunity details page when I am not the owner of the Opportunity Accounts record.
    But if I'm the owner of the Opportunity Accounts record, then I'm able to edit the record. I want to change the setup to allow anyone to edit the record if they can see it.
    I couldn't find out what I'm missing and I'm quite new to this application. Thanks !

    I could not reproduce your case. I tried this... (I am User B)
    User A has owner access profile
    read only for opportunity
    read only for custom object 2
    view for opportunity---customobject 2
    User B has owner and default access profile
    read/edit/delete for opportunity
    read/edit/delete for custom object 2
    view for opportunity---customobject 2
    Now...
    opportunity owner = User A
    custom object 2 owner = User A
    In this case I (User B) could edit it from opportunity related section as well as drilling into custom object 2 and editing from there
    Also
    opportunity owner = User A
    custom object 2 owner = User B
    In this case I (User B) could edit it from opportunity related section as well as drilling into custom object 2 and editing from there
    If your case setup is different, could you provide a detailed repro steps?

  • Report on Contacts Interests (related information section)

    I have activated the "Contact Interests" feature (related info section for a Contact) and "Contact Relationship". I'm not planning on using the "Contact Relationship" feature at the time but I will be using the "Contact Interests" If and only IF I can report on it.
    I'd like to create a report that shows a list of contacts and their interests but i can't seem to find the "Contact Interests" to add to my report.
    Also, I tried to do an advance search to see if I could get a list of contacts with a specific interest (golf, funds,etc...) but couldn't find how to search by that field.
    FYI- don't get confused thinking that this is a custom object because it isn't. I say this because when I called customer support they had no idea what I was talking about. Thanks God for 2nd Tier.

    On R15 you cannot report off Contact Interests, but in R16 you can - at least that's oracle's word. You may want to ask your customers to wait till June. If your need is urgent then build some web services which will populate this data into an external database and report off that.

  • Related Information Section Details to Main SR Page

    Hi All,
    We have new requirement where we need to send an email when an SR is modified to the SR contact. When sending the email, the body of the email should have the details of activities (both open & closed) with the SR details.
    Do we have any option in Siebel on demand where we can populate information from (open & close activities) to any field in SR. By doing this we can then use that SR field which will have activities to send email.
    Please let us know if we have a solution.

    The possibility could be trigerring a workflow when a activity is closed / open for a associated SR , and creating a long text field (which holds 255 characters) in SR and populating the values of activity in it

  • Customising Related Information Layouts

    Hello,
    For the Accounts Related List under Contact I want to add the Status field.
    Unfortunately Status is not one of the availalbe fields to be customised on the Accounts Related Information Section.
    Does anyone know if we can change which fields are available within 'Step 2: field set-up' for customising Related Lists.

    The Related Information list for both accounts (under contacts) and contacts (under accounts) works with the Account Contact Table. You cannot create new fields to this table. You also cannot bring any fields from either Account or contact objects. This is an intersection table that needs major enhancement

    You may want to try changing the country associated to your Apple ID from your iOS device. I have an article for you here that I believe will help you change the country for your signed in Apple ID:

    Specifically, this is the section of the article you will want to pay attention to:
    Change your iTunes Store country

    Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.

    Hi,
    Need to add the "Last Activity" field in "Contact" Related Information Layout for "Accounts" record type.
    The Problem is, can't find the "Last Activity" field in the Available Section of the Related Information layout for Contacts in Accounts record type.
    How can I add a field in the Available section to get it to the selected section.

    The last activity field is not available in the contact related information layout for the account record type at this time. Fields will be added in a future release.

  • Contact Related Information layout (on Opportunity page)

    Hi!
    I would like to customize the Contact Related Information layout from the Opportunity page. I would like to be able to add the Contact Phone Number within that section, but, as you can see in the attached screenshot, the only fields available in Contact Related Information layout are: First Name, Last Name, Name, Primary, Buying Role, Owner + other Opportunity specific fields like (Close Date, Forecast, Sales Stage etc.) How come I find Opportunity fields in Contact Related Information layout instead of finding Contact specific fields (like Phone Number, Contact Type etc.)?

    Delora, I would recommend that you submit a enhancement request to CRM On Demand customer care for the additional contact fields.

    Log into icloud.com
    Click on the Mail icon
    Click on the Settings gear (top right), and pick "Preferences..."
    Click on Accounts
    Edit the Full Name
    Click Done
    The change should automatically propagate to your OS X machines and iOS devices.

  • Issue related to Section

    Hi Experts ,
    I have an issue related to Section.
    I have an report which shows  Department Name and the employees  under each department.
    For this report, we have used "Section" on  dimention Object "Department Name".
    Now  the issue is , when this report is being exported to PDF. In PDF, for some departments , Department name is  in one page and its related employees data are in next page.
    In some cases, Department Name and first few  records  are in same page and rest of records are in next page.( Let's say in department 'X' there are total of  30 employees . So in one page its showing department 'X' and its 10 employees in same page and rest of 20 employees  of that particular department are shown in next page ).
    And in some cases , only Department Name is in last line of the bottom of the page and its related employees are shown in the next page of it.
    Can we have any option, which will show  both Department Name and its related data only on the same page?
    Please be noted that I am working on BO 4.1 version.

    We have make-to-order scenario , on receiving the Order from Customer  we first create a Sale-Order for the Ordered Item . Subsequently in MD04 , we find a requirement getting reflected  for the Customer Order .
    For example say the Sale-Order number is S-101 and the Line Item is 10 for the FERT material say FERT-101 having the Order quantity as 1 number .  In MD04 , we find a requirement getting reflected with the following information :
    MRP Element  --> CustOrd
    MRP element data --> S-101 / 00010 / 0001
    Recd/Reqd Qty  -->  1-
    Available Qty  --> 1-
    We need to write a Z program for getting the list of  the requirements against the Customer Order (as shown in MD04) .
    Kindly guide us as which Tables we need to refer for getting the above information pl .

    I changed my AppleID password and now my iPad2 is locked with a message... "iCloud Backup is unable to access the account. Review your account information in Settings."     It will not allow me to unlock the device or go to settings or ignore the message.   Suggestions?
