Released Object Types must be transportable

Hi,
I am trying to release my BAPI and the BOs, but I am getting this error: "Released Object Types must be transportable"
Please suggest. Does it have anything to do with the function modules I created of its the BOs?

Do like this copy Same Business Object to Another Name Save it in Transport Request and in Transportable Objects.
This is the Best way  overcome from that error .

    I'm getting above error message when i'm trying to define one cursor from a table which has a column with data timestamp(3) in a cursor i'm not even using a column with data type timestamp .( this tables i created by importing sybase tables into oracle )

  • Predefined object type for Purchase order release stratergy

    There are already predefined object type for purchase order like bus2012 where i can create new events and methods. I want to know is there any predefined objects for purchase order release strategy. The requirement is there i want to define method, that should display the po release screen. If i bind this method with work flow template, mail should be triggered and if i click the mail po release screen should be opened for respective material...

  • Business Object type - Obsolete to Released

    Hi,
    We have object type ZBUS1022, which is a copy of BUS1022. The status has been changed to OBSOLETE. I would like to undo this, but can't find a way to do this. Is it possible?
    I have searched the forums and SAP Help without success. We are on SAP ECC 6.0.
    All help appreciated.

    Hi Ann,
    I suspect you are getting the message "Change release status not supported by object BUS1022" or something similar.
    What you do is go to the SWO1 screen and use the menu path:
    Object Type>Change Release Status to>Released.
    This is the only way to restore the status that I know of.  You cannot do this from the detail screen.
    Give me a call if there is any issues, and say hi to all for me.

    I believe there is a requirement that any field used as a primary or
    foreign key must be an object and implement hashCode/equals.
    I'd post in weblogic.developer.interest.ejb.cmp if you want more
    information.

  • Is possible leave  a object type (MIME Repository) of the transport system?

    Hi,
    We'd like use the MIME Repository for storing pictures of our SAP CCM Catalog.
    When we import a new MIME object a order is created. It is possible to avoid this. I mean I'd like to know if we can do this.
    - In a prductive system (closed)
    - Configure an object type to leave the transport system
    Any idea about this?

    In objectice setting the top most hierarchy for appraisal catalog is category group followed by category and then template (VA) .
    My query is related to category group. For category and template system has standatd upload/download utility for transport, but for category there is no as such option therfore in such a scenario how to transport category group.
    Also I want to know the object  type for criteria group and criteria.

    3. What is foreign key relationship?- A relationship which can be defined between tables and must be explicitly defined at field level. Foreign keys are used to ensure the consistency of data. Data entered should be checked against existing data to ensure that there are now contradiction. While defining foreign key relationship cardinality has to be specified. Cardinality mentions how many dependent records or how referenced records are possible.
    4. Describe data classes.- Master data: It is the data which is seldomly changed. Transaction data: It is the data which is often changed. Organization data: It is a customizing data which is entered in the system when the system is configured and is then rarely changed. System data:It is the data which R/3 system needs for itself.
    5. What are indexes?- Indexes are described as a copy of a database table reduced to specific fields. This data exists in sorted form. This sorting form ease fast access to the field of the tables. In order that other fields are also read, a pointer to the associated record of the actual table are included in the index. Yhe indexes are activated along with the table and are created automatically with it in the database.
    6. Difference between transparent tables and pooled tables.- Transparent tables: Transparent tables in the dictionary has a one-to-one relation with the table in database. Its structure corresponds to single database field. Table in the database has the same name as in the dictionary. Transparent table holds application data. Pooled tables. Pooled tables in the dictionary has a many-to-one relation with the table in database. Table in the database has the different name as in the dictionary. Advantages: i)check functions which check that user input is complete, correct,and plausible. ii)Meaningful data selection. iii)central authorization checks for database accesses. iv)good read access performance while retaining the hierarchical data view determined by the application logic. dis advantages: i)If you donot specify a logical database in the program attributes,the GET events never occur. ii)There is no ENDGET command,so the code block associated with an event ends with the next event statement (such as another GET or an END-OF-SELECTION).
    19. What is a batch input session?- BATCH INPUT SESSION is an intermediate step between internal table and database table. Data along with the action is stored in session ie data for screen fields, to which screen it is passed, program name behind it, and how next screen is processed.
    20. How to upload data using CATT ?- These are the steps to be followed to Upload data through CATT: Creation of the CATT test case & recording the sample data input. Download of the source file template. Modification of the source file. Upload of the data from the source file.

How can I make a differentiation between dependent and independent data?- Client dependent or independent transfer requirements include client specific or cross client objects in the change requests. Workbench objects like SAPscripts are client specific, some entries in customizing are client independent. If you display the object list for one change request, and then for each object the object attributes, you will find the flag client specific. If one object in the task list has this flag on, then that transport will be client dependent.
    23. What is the difference between macro and subroutine? - Macros can only be used in the program the are defined in and only after the definition are expanded at compilation / generation. Subroutines (FORM) can be called from both the program the are defined in and other programs . A MACRO is more or less an abbreviation for some lines of code that are used more than once or twice. A FORM is a local subroutine (which can be called external). A FUNCTION is (more or less) a subroutine that is called external. Since debugging a MACRO is not really possible, prevent the use of them (I’ve never used them, but seen them in action). If the subroutine is used only local (called internal) use a FORM. If the subroutine is called external (used by more than one program) use a FUNCTION.

  • Transport type when copying transports to other system

    Hello,
    probably a simple question. I have to transport couple transports from one system to another, there is no link between the systems.
    I have created one (mass) transport which include objects of these transports, but I am not sure what type of the transport should I choose (transport of copies, relocations (it is not clear to me)), also I do not want to release the one big transport to Q systems transport queue. I just want it to create the cofiles to move to other system.
    So question will be how to copy this one transport (via cofile, data file), or if it is possible to release transport without target system?

    Hi,
    Please ensure that STMS is configured in your system, since it is a stand alone system you can make it as a Domain Controller also. After that goto transaction se10 and check for the transaction which are in modifiable state. Then relese the transport starting from the inner request corresponding the transport request created by you.
    Note that once you release this trasaction data files and cofiles are created in trans directory, and you have to manullay copy these files to the system in which you want to transport these files.
    After that goto transaction stms_impot in the target system and add this transport request and import it. the data in the transport reuest will qutomatically gets imported the.

  • Create Synonym for Object Type not supported; Why?

    Does anybody know the reason why Oracle does not support the creation of synonyms for object types?
    In our application we use many schemas to separate subsystems. The schema name has a version identifier included to allow multiple product versions loaded in the database at the same time.
    We reference objects between schemas by using synonyms, to avoid hardcoding the schema names.
    Therefore I must refrain from using object types, currently.
    Does anybody have such a multi-schema architecture, also?
    What is your experience?

    Robert,
    Type synonym is now supported in Oracle9i Release 2. The practice of using multi-schema architecture is an excellent practice for large applications. This provides a level of abstraction to simplify application maintenance, whihc you must have experienced. In conjuction with Object types, you can further simplify your application through reuse of user-defined types.

    Hi ,
    In InfoSet /SAPQUERY/HR_LSO_TRNG1 , I cannot change the "selection" in order to include the relation-ship to Object type 'US' User . Not in the list of "infotypes of related objects" under "change info-type selection"  in transaction SQ02 .
    How can I add that ? Thank you

          Queries
          InfoSet Query
          InfoSets
          User Groups
          Translation/Query 
    Classic reporting- the creation of lists, statistics and ranked lists- are covered by the InfoSet Query and Queries components. Other componentsu2019 range of functions cover the maintenance of InfoSets, the administration of user groups and also the translation of texts created in the SAP Query. All data required by a user for a report can be read from various tables. 
    To define a report, you first have to enter individual texts, such as titles, and select the fields and options, which determine the report layout. In the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) mode, you can edit the lists using Drag & Drop and various toolbars.

    Infosets Components
          InfoSets are special views of data sources.
          An InfoSet describes which fields of a data source can be reported on in queries.
          InfoSets are assigned to user groups.
          End-users are able to work only with those InfoSets that are relevant to their particular area, as designated by the role or user group that they are assigned to.
          Eg: Vendor master data can be important in purchasing as well as in accountancy. The relevant InfoSet is assigned to both roles/user groups. This means that queries based on this InfoSet can be copied and executed by both groups.
    User Groups Components
    1.     The User Groups component is used to maintain user groups. The system administrator uses it to set up the work environment for end-users.
    2.     Every user assigned to the user group is able to execute the query.
    3.     Users are not allowed to modify queries from other user groups, although they may, under certain circumstances, copy and execute
    Translation/Query Component
          A great deal of text is generated when defining queries, InfoSets, and user groups.
          The SAP Query displays these texts in the language that you chose when you logged on to the SAP system.
          You can compare the text languages using the component Translation/Query.
          A related text in one or more additional languages is made available for each of the texts created when defining the query.
    Query Areas
    A query area contains a set of query objects (queries, InfoSets, and user groups) that are discrete and consistent.

    u2022        Now we need to assign fields to the field groups. These field groups will display in the SAP Query tool during reporting. Please note that only the fields that are included here will be available for field selection in the SAP Query Tool that uses this infoSet as a data source.
    u2022        Select the field group on the right side and then drag and drop the fields from the left side to this field group.  u2022        When all the required fields are added, click on SAVE.
    u2022        Now generate the InfoSet by clicking on GENERATE. 
    Attach each InfoSet to a Query Group
