Releasing stock from return stock to unrestricted stock

Hi all
Can anybody tell me how to move the stock from return order stock to unrestricted stock so that goods which is been returned from customer can be sold to another customer?

If u want to post the stock to ur own location for future use u can use
MB1B transaction and with movement type 453 you can post it

Returns sale order stock from returns to quality error

Dear All,
For FG Material we have activated Inspection Type '06' - Returns from Customer Inspection and Inspection Plan with Usage 'Goods Issue 06' also created.
We create return sale order material comes in returns and we need Inspection lot with '06'. so in MB1B using mvt type 457 trying to move stocks from returns to quality but system is not allowing to transfer stock it gives error Change Inspection stock in QM only.
kindly give your suggestion for this error.

For FG Material we have activated Inspection Type '06' - Returns from Customer Inspection and Inspection Plan with Usage 'Goods Issue 06' also created.
SAP has returns set up to create 06 inspection lots. These are not stock relevant. In this case the inventory goes into the return stock category and another move must be done to move the material to unrestricted or blocked as needed it will not allow to move to QI
If the material should go into QI stock and be under QI control, then config must be changed to use the 05 inspection type instead of 06.
We create return sale order material comes in returns and we need Inspection lot with '06'. so in MB1B using mvt type 457 trying to move stocks from returns to quality but system is not allowing to transfer stock it gives error Change Inspection stock in QM only.
In SPRO SD schedule line category for returns(DN) change movement type to 655 and make relevant settings for QM movement types.

how to transfer stock from sample usage to unrestricted use

I suppose user has accidently posted quantity to sample usage?
Do you see material document with movement type 333 for this material?
You can search material document list using MB51 transaction
or If you know the inspection lot, You can list material documents list from inspection lot.
If you can find the material document number -->Use MBST transaction to reverse the movement
If you can not find material document --> use Mb1C transaction use movement type 561.
In either case stock can not be return to same inspection lot. You can activate another inspection lot using inspection type 05 if needed.

I have problem in goods movement type 453 (Transfer posting to own stock from returns from customer)
it picking from from profit center from in material master under sales:general/plant tab but we need picking from based on account assignment group in the material maser sales org.2.
Other movement types are picking from based on account assignment group only . for that what i can do please help me on this.

Hi,
In Co controlling are the automatic account assignment is only the default and it on the Priority.
if you think what is picked up from the mm is wrong.
the best way out will be to go with the substitution rule.
based on the movement type use the rule.

Some material was transferred from Plant X to Plant Y.
Now this material is lying in On order stock instead of Unrestricted stock
Kindly suggest how this On order stock can be transferred to Unrestricted stock

We tried to post GR against PO (i.e, STO number)
also tried with outbound delivery document but cant do it.
Actually there were 3 line items in the STO, delivery and PGI was done for all the 3 line items now GR was also taken for all the three line items.
However when we checked the material document display, system posted 1st two line items with 101 mov type and the third line item was having mov type 605
now this item is sitting in on-order stock., I want to bring this to Unrestricted Stock.
Reversing and re-posting shall not be feasible.

Give the Movement type as 321 Transfer posting stock in quality inspection - unrestricted-use stock
The quantity is transferred from stock in quality inspection into unrestricted-use stock. Here you can post the quantity to another storage location.
You cannot use this movement type for QM-managed materials since transfer posting for these materials takes place via the usage decision.
and also 322 for reversal of 321
If you want to transfer stock from Quality to Unrestricted then go to MB1B and do transfer using movement type 321

There is a tick mark in post to inspection stock indicator thereafter inspection lot tab in qa32 or qa11 is not activated.
Secondly, this is a stock item.
Thirdly, No PS module is implemented in my client
I think the user has posted the stock through MB1C with Movt.Type 503 into quality stock.At the time of this posting the 05 inspection type is not activated in QM view of Material Master thatswhy system does not created any inspection lot for this.
After some days,with out stock posting from inspection stock to unrestricted stock,he has activated 05 inspection stock for the first time.
Pl.suggest any possible solution .

kindly help me i am having problems doing transfer posting (mb1b) using movement type 321. because in my stock overview (mmbe) thera are stocks in Quality Inspection, i want that to be trasfered in Unrestricted Stock. that's why i execute transfer posting but there is an error occured doing it so. the error is "change the inspection stock of material 1078 in QM only". how could i make this stocks transfer to unrestricted?
please advise me the correct way to settled this.

I am very thankful for all of you contributing to this thread of mine hope in some other time you can work it out with me again I already done all this resolutions you have mention and I also know that is all the right wya to solve this issue but i dont see my problem exists on the configuration in material tpye allocation because in our business sample the FERTin standard SAP but with us it is customized name, have different code it was not define in TLtype in material allocation for quality inspection (Q), now i know what to do to call our admin to authorized my config there.

Movement of stock from shopfloor to quality inspection stock.

when i am using automatic goods recipt for my production order order. when i confirm last operation the finished product will be recipted to the unrestricted stock of specefied storage location.
but what i want to do is. I want to move it in to blocked stock .
I have an option in the goods recipt tab of production order.its defaulting as unrestricted use stock.
well i can change it to blocked stock.
how can i default it. instead of changing it in every production order.

1. Now if u want to place the stock from unrestricted to blocked stock use MB1B transaction with 344 mov type
2. suppose if u want for perticular production order stock u want move directly to blocked stock do the following settings in order. Go to order change in CO02 click on Goods receipt tab>in control column> stock type select to blocked stock or quality stock. By default it will be unrestricted.
3. Suppose if u want all the GR to order should got quality stock, in the material master eanble inspection type 04 for that materail and maintain quality plan for tha material in QP01

Quality Inspection stock passed to new material unrestricted stock

Hello Friends,
I have created production order and done MB31 with ref to production order and at that time inspection lot is automatically created and quality having the stock suppose 10 kg.
And then i have completed the usage decision and passed 5 kg to production order material unrestricted stock and 5 kg to some another material unrestricted stock and now therefore no stock in quality.
Now i have do the reversal scenario.
With the help of movement type 102 with ref to production order i can reverse the unrestricted stock quantity of the production order material
then 5 kg is reversed . and i have cancel the inspection lot.
But i have to ask how to reverse the quantity with have passed to new material unrestricted stock ie remaining 5 kg.
My solution says:
I have to first with help of mvt type 310 pass the stock from the new material to production order material and then have to 102 mvt type with complete quantity 10 kg and then cancel of inspection lot and creation of new lot again with 101 mvt type.
Please tell me above procedure is the right solution or there any other method also exist.
I have read one solution that i have to change the inspection type 08 in material master and then do reversal with the help of movement type 322. but in this i have to go material master.
We are avoiding to make material master changes .so this solution doesn't suits me.
Secondly with the help of user exits , i have done the cancel of usage decision but that also never reverse the material stock.
correct me if am wrong.
Thirdly i have implemented the note report also ,but that also doesn't work becoz my material is serialized and for serialized material that report doesn't get executed.
Please give me ur suggestions and solutions.

I think you have no perticular solution if it is intergated with QM.
Once you do UD and the reversal is very deficult.
Hence if you want to get the original material stock from new material..perform MB1B and tranfer the stock.

No, you can't make the return from customer to the unrestricted stock directly! At least the returned stock must go to the return stock, this is the standard process. After confirmation with quality departement, you can decide the returned stock goes to unrestricted stock, block stock or srcap directly! That's it!

Dear experts.
I have a situation where once again i would appreciate any help.
We are doing returns in VMS for an automotive company. All my code is working and my program creates a return, return delivery, goods reciept and credit memo in vms. My problem at this stage is when i try to move this vehicle from blocked stok to unrestricted stock (Action REUS) the Bapi returns with a message complaining about a notification class. However if i run transaction velo for the exact same vehicle and try to do action REUS the log tells me that the account requires an assignment to a CO object. I can however not just include this in config as our FI consultant says this would influence all movements into and out of this account. I need to code it into my program. And pass the profit centre to the bapi. I am using BAPI_VEHICLE_CHANGE_MULTIPLE but can not find any place to pass the profit centre.
ANY HELP?????

I think that is a CO configuration problem, VMS donu2019t influence the determination profit center , ask: you are returning the vehicle at the same plant?

The TE keys assigned to this movement are GBB & PRD.
In this case i believe it would be GBB with modifier VAX.
I am not fully aware of the Indian acctg. procedures, so hence kindly work with your FI/Co personnel.
But from logistic point of view, this is the movement to be used.
