Remittance advie to vendors
Hi Sap Experts,
I need to configure ACH Payment method for vendors and after the automatic payment run the system need to send remittance advice through email to vendors. I would be very thankful if any one can help me in providing the details steps in how to configure. In SAP is there any standard remittance advice form that can be used, if not do we have to develop a new form. I am also not sure if System can send emails to vendors directly after APP run, if not does the abaper develops a programme which will enable the system to send the remittance advice via email.
You help will be truely appreciated.I would be very obliged if you could provide me guidence.

Hi Guru
I want to send a remittance advice to vendor only through EDI after running payment run. But standard SAP requires configuration for Vendor and as well as House Bank and generates two Idocs one for bank(Message type PAYEXT-PEXR2002) and one for Vendor(Message type REMADV-PEXR2002).
The requirement is only to send the remittance advice to vendor but not to the bank is any way that i can stop generating idoc to bank.

you want to do the open item clearing without the banking file throught auto payment run, do you? can you try to use other payment method , like check.

Smartform form for Payment remittance advice to Vendor
Hi Friends,
My requirement is i have a sapscript "F110_IN_AVIS" (Driver program:RFF0EDI1 This is a standard sap driver program)and it should be converted to Smartform with all the windows as it was present in sapscript. I have migrated the sapscript to smartform (as you all know that only the layout will be copied and not the logic). Now how to identify the table names and the corresponding field names related to each of these windows. Kindly suggest how to proceed with the driver program. You may also look at the possiblity to use BTE with custom function module if you seek more flexibility
FIBF > Process Module > of Customer > Process 0000002040 (Automatic Payment advice)
SAP provide a sample function module but then you need to engage your abaper to develop a custom function module.

Automatic e-mail of remittance advice to vendors following the Payment Run
Hi,
We are implementing the Automatic e-mail of remittance advice to vendors following the Payment Run(F110) for one of our company code located at UK.
But we have already implemented this process for one of the company code located in US using the Business transaction event 00002040 and it is working fine.
Now i want to find out if we could utilitize emailing the employee reimbursement remittances for UK as we do here in the US using the same BTE.
I just want to know if our current BTE (business transaction event) can be set up for their group also along with generating the SAP script to format the remittance.

Edcess & Hcess amount not updated in Remittance challan document (Vendor)

I am working on ECC 6.0. Should any body tell me how can i get the ed-cess & higher cess amount in remittance challan document? i have got the Basis TDS & surcharge remitted amount on remittance challan but not get the edcess & higher cess remitted amount? also this is not reflected the ed cess & h cess amount in vendor TDS certificate?
for this i have done the vendor invoice. during this i got the TDS amount by bifurcate. i also maintain seprate GL for TDS Deducion. then after i create remittance challan. but it couldnot shown me in the line item of ed-cess remitted.
Please help me to work out on this problem.

1. If you have separate tax codes for Surcharges, J_1IEWT_SURC table
should be maintained, by setting the checkbox checked, for the company
code. Those tax codes should be available the J_1IEWTSURC table
(use SM30 to maintain these values)
2. If you have a combined tax code for surcharges, then the tax rates
should be maintained in J_1IEWT_SURC1 table.
Make sure that tax codes available in J_1IEWT_SURC1 table are not
available in J_1IEWTSURC table and vice-versa.
3. If you are using separate tax codes for Education cess, those tax
codes should be maintained in the J_1IEWTECESS table and 'X' should be
maintained for the company code in J_1IEWT_ECFLAG table.
4. If you are using combined tax codes for Education cess, tax rates
should be maintained in J_1IEWT_ECESS1 table.
Make sure that the tax codes available in J_1IEWT_ECESS1 table are not
maintained in J_1IEWTECESS table and vice-versa.
Refer (only refer) the solution part of the note 870991 and 853918
for details relating to table creation.
Make sure that in the table for surcharge you have only the tax types
relevant for surcharge AND DOES NOT CONTAIN TAX TYPES RELEVANT TO
BASIC TAX AND CESS ANDMake sure that in the table for ECESS you have only the tax types
relevant for ECESS AND DOES NOT CONTAIN TAX TYPES RELEVANT TO
BASIC TAX AND SURCHARGE
If you have configured secondary cess seperately,i.e a seperate tax
type and code for secondary cess,kindly make sure that you have
applied the steps and the code corrections given in the note 1097621.

In fact I am required to deliver the Remittance Advice in SMARTFORMS to the vendor for thier invoices paid. For example after running the automatic payment run (F110), we issue a check or do EFT transfer direct to the vendor's bank account. But along with this we also required to give remittance advice containing the invoice details paid etc. Now I am unable to find out these details to make a SMARTFORMS for the remittance advice. Following are the informations to appear in the remittance advice :
Rimittance Date (SAP payment date)
Vendor Invoice No. ( We put the same in reference field during MIRO / FB60 )
Vendor Invoice date ( We put the same in document date filed MIRO / FB60 )
Vendor Invoice Amount
Discount Amount
Net Amount paid agst each advice
Total amount paid
Vendor's BSB & Account no.( We maintain in the vendor master data )
Reference ( ie the FI doc no of the vendor invoices )
Which table will give all the above informations to make a SMARTFORMS for Remittance Advice.

From REGUP, you can identify the vendor, the vendor invoice and the amount that has been considered for the payment run. You can then refer to BKPF for the fields like vendor invoice date, vendor invoice no., reference., which I guess you input in the document header data of the invoice.
In REGUP, the entries are populated both at the time of proposal run and at the time of payment run, you will need to eliminate proposal lines using field XVORL.
If there is some info in the vendor item, then you may need to refer to BSEG (BSAK/BSIK).

Our vendors don't want to receive remittance advice after the APP run.
Is there any option where i can block the remittance advice for certain vendors after the run.

Does anyone email ACH remittance info to vendors
We are about to start paying many of our vendors via ACH instead of Check. Is there a way, through the system, to send payment information to the vendors by email? If we can, we would like to avoid stuffing remittance advices into envelopes and mailing them to the vendors.

Before configuring this, please make sure that the SCOT settings are being configured by your Basis Administrator.
Please go through following settings.
T code FIBF
SettingsProcess ModuleSAP Application.
Process 00002040
CTR Blank
Application FI-FI
Functin Module SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040.
This FM will pick the email address on the general data tab page of vendor master.
You can see the email addresses in your SOST transaction (the queue)

We have done this . We created Z table where we can keep upte 3 mails ID for one Vendor and Payment ment progran look for that table when Generates Payment Advice .

Email remittances to vendors/suppliers for voided cheques
Hi Masters,
I will highly apprecaite if someone can help me with the following issue :
The system is sending email remittances to EFT vendors for voided cheques. For example:
Cheque number 343028 was voided in the system sent an email to the vendor indicating that payment 343028 would soon be deposited in their account. The vendor also received an separate email indicating that the same amount would again be paid but the second email referenced the EFT payment number.
Can we change the EFT email process to only send remittances by email if the payment number is less than 300,000? Then it will never send an EFT remittance email for cheque payments or voided cheques since they are always numbered above 300,000
Is it possible to modify the workflow..... so that no remittance mail goes for check payments.Any reference or solution would help me alot.

In your question above, when you say "payment number less than 300,000", does the 300,000 refer to a check number?

Hi, is it possible to flag a vendor to receive a remittance or not. we don;'t want to send remittances to all vendors.
I can't see any flags/fields in the Vendor Master to say whether they receive one or not, so I can't see how I can control/specify this at Vendor level?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

GrahamMy requirement started as wanting an ability within a single payment run to flag a vendor to get a remittance or not. However, clarification of the requirements means there are currently distinct differences between the types of vendors that do and dont get a remittance, so I can use a seperate payment run linked to different payment media to deliver the reuirement.
If there is a way to control it within a single payment run in Std SAP then that would be worth noting for future requirements, but at this time, I am able to resolve the issue myself.
