Remove wall paper photo iPad2

I selected a photo in my "photos" on the desktop of my iPad2 to use as wallpaper on "wake up from sleep".
How can I revert back to the factory no image , all black screen?
cheers
D

You'll need to save a black image into your Camera Roll and then set that as the wallpaper image.
Here's one:

View that image in Safari on your iPad, press and hold on it and choose Save Image. Then set it as the Wallpaper

       Hello,
After updated Iphone 4S to new the IOS7.0.2 , I am unable to move and scale the photo to minimize to the screen and the photo is showing with zoom. So, I am unable to make a new wall paper to to home/lock screen to fit the pic in the screen with good outlook.
Itunes Radio is not showing some time when I play the music from the phone.
Decline call option is not showing the call some times when I receive calls.
    Please look in and assist.

    Hello VRS,
The cropping can be due to the Parallax feature in iOS 7. In order to remove this, you can enable 'Reduce Motion' in Settings.
Reduce motion. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility and turn on Reduce Motion.

iOS 7: How to reduce screen motion
You can reduce screen motion in iOS 7. iOS 7 uses a parallax effect to create the perception of depth on your Home screen and elsewhere.
To reduce the effect, you can turn on Reduce Motion in Settings > General > Accessibility. When you turn on Reduce Motion, Home screen transitions will fade instead of zoom.
When the parallax effect is on, you may notice the following:
Wallpaper, icons, and alerts shift slightly as you move your phone.
When you set a wallpaper in Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness, the photo or image will be slightly zoomed and can't be scaled to fit the screen.
If you zoom in, you will need to rescale your wallpaper to fit to the screen. You can't rescale certain photo formats, including landscape or square images.
To learn more about iOS 7, refer to the user manual.

  • Workflow for creating a very large collage for a wall paper

I have a bunch of photos shot with a canon t4i. My plan is to blow up all the photos and make a collage to print out on wall paper for a wall. I shot all of these photos in RAW. The dimensions of the wall are 101h x 106w. Yes, this collage bogs down my computer to the max. Its ridiculous. But anyways, I am having trouble retaining sharpness in my photos on my collage. I am a beginner with editing raw photos so that might be a problem.
    This is what I did.
    Open new photoshop (101x106")
Edit all photos in camera raw
drag photos from bridge on to photoshop
place and adjust size of each photo
what would you do differently to retain sharpness? It is important that it looks as best as possible because it will be in a small room in the foyer of our office.
    Thanks,
    Riley

I see two problem.  On the print size exceed all the printers I know of.  The widest printers that Epson make can only print 64" wide.  Even if you cut your collage into two with some overlap for alignment.  It would be a nightmare applying 54" wide wallpaper to a wall.  There might be a third problem with cost a Epson printers that can print 54" wide rolls starting price is $10,000.00 and go up to $25,000.00. Expensive wallpaper. And you still need the paper and ink.
For a collage that large you do not need to print at 300 DPI for you will not be viewing the wall that is big and over your height up close where the human eye can resolve down to 300 dpi. In you collage you also show only three image across the top row. Some wider the others. Look at your Cannot T4I the would mean some image would be printed  between 35" to 40" wide. without interpolation your 18MP images printed that size would meant they would print in the 130 to 150 DPI range.  To interpolate from 130-150 to 300  would requite increasing the pixel count in the range of 400 to 500 percent.  That is a lot of interpolation.  I would not do that. I would actually create the collage at 150 DPI.  That resolution should be good for an image that large.  That Collage would not tax Photoshop as much. The 300DPI collage image would be 106x300x101x300=963,540,000  at 150DPI the same image would be 106x150x101x150=.240,885,000  the is 1/4 the number of pixels.
I would flatten the collage and cut it into 7 ovelaping stripts around 16" wide

  • How to reduce scale at installation of wall-paper by iPad?

How to reduce scale at installation of wall-paper by iPad?

If you go in through the photos app you have a bit more control, but not a lot.
FIrst, go into the control panel, accessibility and turn off the parallax motion. Then go into your photos app, find the image and 'send' it to be wallpaper by tapping the box with the arrow poking out of it.
The higher resolution your image is the more control you'll have. The default is that the whole screen must be covered and iPad screens are 1024 x 768 or larger, so if you have a 300 x 400 pixel image, you won't have much control at all but if your image is - pixel wise - larger than your screen, you'll have more wiggle room.
It's not perfect and isn't as much control as it used to be, but you'll have more than just going in through the wallpaper controls.

  • When i try to use one of my Photoshop as wall paper it Gets bigger

When I try to use one of my photos as wall paper, it Gets bigger

Have you tried to go in through the photos app? Go to your photo and 'send' it to be wall paper and see if it scaled better.
SInce iOS7 has the parallax motion (when you tilt the screen  you can see your back ground looking like it's off the edge, turning that off in the settings can help with your wallpaper scaling) it demands that all wallpapers be bigger than the screen. So the iPad automatically zooms in to fill the screen on at least two sides, which leaves most people with limited options to move and scale.
The higher resolution your photo is the better your experience will be.
If that still doesn't work there are scaling apps in the App Store. I don't use one so I don't have any recommendations but I have seen people talking about them.

  • How do I remove photot albums from ipad2?

I tried to sync photos from my old iPhone to my ipad2 and all the photos from my pc downloaded. Can I remove them from my ipad2?

Ifnthey were downloaded as part of a sync, you can only get them off by resyncing.  Uncheck what ever albums you don't want -in I tunes- .  Picture you take on the pad, or import thru the cck can be deleted, synced photos are removed by resyncing.

  • Hi,   My photo stream used to work fine.  But after removing all the photos to separate folders in my computer, my new photos are no longer streaming to my PC.  They appear in the photo stream on my other devices - iPhone5 and iPad Mini.  It's just my PC

    Hi,
My photo stream used to work fine.  But after removing all the photos to separate folders in my computer, my new photos are no longer streaming to my PC.  They appear in the photo stream on my other devices - iPhone5 and iPad Mini.  It's just my PC that's missing the photos.
When I open the iCloud control panel, I cannot turn on the photos.  That option is ghosted.  I'm running on Windows 7 with iCloud 3.0.  Any ideas on how I can fix this?  All help is appreciated!  Thanks!

  • How to remove thousands of photos from ipad

    Hi all,
When I was at vacation I imported about 7560 photos from my digital camera into the new iPad.
At home I imported all the photos from the ipad to Aperure and clicked "delete all the photos from the iPad".
Aperture really removed some photos (about 2 GBs from 45 GBs) and now shows me an "empty" iPad.
But the most of photos still are on the iPad. Aperture doesn't see any photos more, even after restarting.
Okay, then I tried iPhoto. iPhoto sees photos, but doesn't want to remove photos.
Then I tried my windows PC - it could remove a couple of photos but got an error after deleting multiple photos at once.
Then I tried Image Capture on my Mac - it removes about ten photos and then loses the ipad. Loses means it doesn't see the iPad under devices, even after restarting the app. After rejecting and reconnecting the iPad I can remove other 8 or 10 photos with Image Capture and it loses the iPad again.
Now, after about 2 hours I still have 6271 photos on the iPad.
Can some one help me to delete all the photos at once from my new iPad?

  • In iPhoto, I want to copy certain photos in an event and then have the copies in another event WITHOUT removing the original photos from their original event; how to do that?

in iPhoto, I want to copy certain photos in an event and then have the copies in another event WITHOUT removing the original photos from their original event; how to do that?

The only way to do that is to export the image to a new file and then re-import it.
It's not really the intended way of working as it uses twice the disk space and is inefficient.
Use Albums instead. A Photo can be in any number of albums and use no extra disk space as it just simply references the image in the Library. Albums can be sorted any way you want - including manaually - and can have image from anywhere in the Library just by drag and drop.

  • HT204022 How do you remove all the photos in photostream in one go i.e reset?

I have a new Mac and iphone and when I turn on photostream it downloads thousands of pics that have been taken since photostream started. I don't want it to do that, I just want to reset the photo stream and start with zero pics as its being downloading on the new iMac now for 2 days and its still goinig.
There used to be a reset option on the icloud site but it has vanished, so how do I do it? Surely I I'm not expected to wait days for each device to download all pics before I can delete them?

From where do you want to remove the PS photos? A mobile device or iPhoto on your Mac?  If you have them all in iPhoto on your Mac (up to 1000 allowed) go to the PS in iPhoto, select all of the photos there and Control (right)-click on them.  Select Delete from Photo Stream in the contextual menu that appears:
If they aren't in iPhoto let them download (as that wouldl be faster than downloading to a mobile device and easier to delete from.  The follow the workflow above.  in the meantime turn of Photo Stream on your mobile devices until the photos have been deleted:
