Replicating authorization roles via HR replication from ECC 6 to SRM 5.0

Hi,
I'm interested in knowing whether anyone has used the distribution model to copy roles (AG objects) between ECC 6 and SRM 5.0.
Someone said that it's possible so I would like to validate that statement as I don't know whether it is possible and practical.
If you have any knowledge or experience could you please share it?

I was told that it can be done but I don't know enough about the HR replication process to acknowledge or challenge, hence the question.
Are you implying that it's not possible or simply that it's not done?
I had an earlier post regarding assigning roles to positions in SRM Replicating authorization roles via HR replication from ECC 6 to SRM 5.0 that you replied to but never replied to my subsequent question. It can be done because one of my other clients is doing it. We're however unable to get it work at my current client's site. Do you have any experience with this subject?

Questions regarding HR Org Structure replication from ECC to SRM

Hi Experts ,
We have SRM7.0 ( SP08) with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario .
I managed to replicate entire HR Org Structure from ECC system to SRM system. I replicated O (Organization), S( Postion) and P ( Person), which successfully created O, S and CP in SRM with BP for O and US...Refered Note 934372, 312090, 550055 and help link on SDN./wiki.....etc
Now I have below questions in mind.
1. In SRM we requiers Org unit for Company Code, Purchase Organization and Purchase Group...which we set in FUNCTION tab for the requiered Org Unit with Checkbox and value of it and Logical system.....but in HR Org strcuture we do not have such Org Unit....so how to manage/create such these Org Units ( i.e.Company Code, Purchase Organization and Purchase Group ) ?...
Do I need to create these Org unit manually in SRM in PPOSA_BBP ? If yes, can I create these Org Unit above or between these replicated HR Org Units or I need to created it separtly in paralllel to these HR replicated Org Units?
2. If above I do, then what will impact on the delta /change replication from HR integraion ?
3. In ECC HR org Structure there are hundres of employee, out of that I just wanted to send the Postion ( we have postion based security in HR) whom only SRM Role had assigned . How it can be acheived ?

Hi ,
Initially when I repliacted P of HR Org Struture it sucessfully craeted BP in SRM and was CP in Org Structure.
But suddenly , what happned don;t know, when I replicating Employees (P) in SRM , it is assigning to respective Postion (S), but BP is not creating in SRM and in the USERS_GEN for this User, its postion and ORg Unit to whom it assigned is giving below error
Determination of connections to object 'BP' of 'CP' '00000015' failed
Message no. BBP_UM_UI036
I checked all this as per Note 550055, 934372..etc....checked respetcive setting in table T77S0...I checked address alos....but no any clue......IDoC in SRM posting sucessfully....
Can anyone please suggest what should be the cause and solution of it ?

Material Group Replication from ECC

Dear SRMers,
System Landscape : ECC 6.0 and SRM 5.0.
I am doing a material group replication from ECC to SRM using the DNL_CUST_PROD1 customizing object. Before the replication ECC was trying to confirm the target RFC destination(SRM) by prompting a logon. I logged in as myself and the system gave a CALL_FUNCTION_OPEN_ERROR.
I defined the CRM Consumer as SRM in the CRM middleware parameters..
My question is do we need to define the User SRM in SU01 and when ECC tries to confirm the target RFC destination, do we need to login as the SRM User ?
Points will be rewarded for answers.

Hi,
The RFC user which you define in the SRM RFC detsination has to be obviously as SU01 user in SRM.Also the RFC user need to have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profile attached.See note 642202 for details.

Assign queries to authorization role via PFCG maintenace

Hi,
I would like to assign several queries to existing authorization roles.
Therefore I am using the transaction PFCG > maintain the menu > add "other" SAP BW Query URL and fill in the name as well as object description.
However, the new query will not be shown in the BEx Analyzer in the role folder.
What do I have to administrate that the query will be shown in the role menu (BEx Analyzer)?

thanks for your reply.
As an authorization administrator for SAP BI I do have the authorization for S_USER_AGR already.
I am just testing in our development system.
However, the query will not appear in the BEx Analyzer while selecting "Open Query" and search in "Roles".
As far as I know queries could provided to authorization roles via BEx Analyzer.
But does no possibility exists to maintain the authorization role via PFCG?

Vendor replication from R/3 to SRM

Hi,
I am using BBPGETVD for the vendor replication from R/3 to SRM.
I need to modify some fields related to Company data and Vendor data of the vendor during the replication (for example: Vendor should always be created with Invoice Receipt Expected check as checked, Transmission media as 'Mail' etc).
Can anybody tell me which BAdi or Exit i can use for this purpose.

Equipment Replication from ECC to CRM 6.0

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to Replicate equipments from ECC to CRM 6.0
I did all the activities as specified still encountering issue while replicating.
I did following activities
1) Default settings
OLTP-EQ-0401-0401-X(Delta)
2) BADI - CRM_EQUI_LOAD_STDIMP (Activated)
3) Specify adapter object for uploading objects
0401 - DNL_EQUIPMENT
I tried to load Equipment through R3AS for "EQUIPMENT" OLTP selected.
A) I checked SMQ1, SMQ2 - No Queues are blocked.
B) SMW01---Found 2 lines for BDOC Type CRM_EQ_DMBDOC with green light successfully processed.
C) But if I Check through R3AM1 (monitor Objects) the Adapter "EQUIPMENT" is aborted.
I checked the BDOC Message for the passed lines in SMW01 it says
1) Start of Initial load.
2) No Objects were selected.
In ECC, I see enough equipments in EQUI Table. But I haven't given any filters in EQUIPMENT so that it will select all.
Please correct me if I am following a wrong process or forward me the check list for Equipment load.
I tried almost a full day on this but nothing accomplished and I found similar failure postings for Equipments a lot in Forums.

I am getting the same problem as yours while trying to download EQUIPMENTs from ECC to CRM.
I have done the following steps:
1. Created a category for the object family 0401 and assigned the relevant set types to it.
2 Maintained the settings for downloading equipments into CRM at:
SPRO --> Master Data --> Installed Base --> Replication of technical objects from SAP ERP --> Define default settings for replication equipment.
3. Activated BADI CRM_EQUI_LOAD
On triggering the initial load am getting 2 F02 state CRM_EQ_DMBDOC bdocs w/o any classical / extension data in it. When I check for the trace I get to see the message 'No objects selected' for the ECC system though there are equipments in the ECC equipment table EQUI.
Would appreciate if you could share how did you solve your problem.

Customer replication from ECC to CRM

Hello everyone,
I am having some difficulty replication a customer from ECC to CRM.
In our environment, customers are generally created from CRM & then replicated to ECC.
Now we are creating a new Distribution channel & hence want to extend all our existing customers to the new DC.
Since I am a SD Consultant, I was thinking of extending the customers in ECC.
I tried extending a customer which was originally created in CRM. When I extended it to the new DC in ECC, it dint come over to CRM.
I cannot see any BDOC in SMW01 also.
Also when I checked the Filter setting in R3AC1 for objects BUPA_MAIN & Customers .. there is nothing set in the filters for the source ECC.
Do I have to check any additional objects which I need to check ?
Or is it that no settings means nothing created in ECC would come over ?
Can anyone guide me so as to understand why this is happening.
Also if there are any filters which i need to check, can anyone tell me what tcode & what adapter objects do i need to check ?

Hi,
If you are downloading Customers from ECC(XD01/XD02/XD03) then CRM uses the adapter object CUSTOMER_MAIN and not BUPA_MAIN. You can check if there are any filters in this object.
Alternately you can check if the delta is active in ECC. I do not remember the transaction for checking this but you can find the same from the menu path.

Delivery address replication from ECC to SRM

Hello All
We are onboarding a punch-out vendor in SRM. The Vendor said that they won't read the delivery address sent by us in the PO output, but would rather pre-store all the delivery addresses and their codes.
The code would be auto read & this way they can ship immediately with just 1 day lead time.
We are using classic scenario and noticed that when the PO is created in the backend, it always creates a new address number each time , even for the same address.
We are mulling about a process where the Ship to address would be created in ECC and replicated to SRM , with the same number as ECC.
So my question is :
1) Is it possible to replicate the Addresses from ECC to SRM using any report or ALE?If yes what is the process for the same.
2) Can we maintain the number range of the Ship to address object in SRM as external, so that ECC and SRM has the same #s.

Ans : You can create delivery address in SRM from ECC by creating a Report and Utilizing RFC function module to read address
data from ECC and creating the same in SRM through FM BBP_BUPA_ADDRESS_ADD [i hope the FM is correct as i do not have the system now].
I dont know of any standard interface though ....
2) Can we maintain the number range of the Ship to address object in SRM as external, so that ECC and SRM has the same #s.
Ans : Does not look possible to be .. since there are amny type of addresses in the system all uses the same internal number range. You can utilize some of unused field in delivery address to store the address number of ECC system like Building code , Street_suppl 3 etc ...
However i suggest do not make things complex and keep it simple.

Material replication from ECC to SRM

Dear SRM 7.0 Experts,
We are implementimg SRM 7.0 and we are trying to execute the Initial Load of materials into SRM 7 from ECC. We have completed all the Middleware settings and all the customising required for material replication. Whe we run the initial load (tcode R3AS) and select the first object DNL_CUST_BASIS3, it runs but the status remains "Running" in R3AM1. There is no errors in SMQ1as the entry runs and completes and therefore disappears. There is no errors recorded in SMW0 or SLG1 either. What could be the problem?
I checked in SMQ1 & SMQ2 as well, but there is no entries here for the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3. what we can do to resolve the issue ?

Have you checked the outbound queue in backend R/3 system ?
Have you defined the additional user in CRMCONSUM table apart from the CRM user?
Verify and, if necessary, change or insert entries in tables CRMCONSUM and CRMRFCPAR as
described in SAP Note 430980. See also SAP Note 720819.

Issues in employee replication from ECC to CRM through ALE/IDOC

We are replicating the employees from ECC to CRM through ALE/IDOC.
Some times for some employees, the Idoc status in CRM is 52(Application document not fully posted) in CRM (WE02 tcode)
If I see the details its showing as " Identification Category BPCCOD is Not Assigned to Any Identification Type"
What I need to do now to avoid this.

Hi Babu, I'm having the same error when I replicate my employes. I have define BPCCOD in spro - Cross-Application Components - SAP Business Partner - Business Partner - Basic Settings - Identification Numbers, but this configuration does not resolve my problem.
Could you resolve this problem?.

Business partner replication from ECC to CRM

I need help with business partner replication for financial services from ECC 6.0 to CRM 7.0 using standard intagration scenario BusinessPartnerReplication from XI Content SAP ABA 7.0. Scenario type is asynchronous ABAP Proxy to ABAP Proxy.
I activated proxies on ECC and CRM side as described in blog: /people/vijaya.kumari2/blog/2006/01/26/how-do-you-activate-abap-proxies
ECC, CRM, PI systems are registered in SLD.
And also i created configuration scenario based on BusinessPartnerReplication scenario from XI Content SAP ABA 7.0 and all necessary configuration objects.

What standard function modules from link below should i activate on ECC sender side and CRM receiver side in transaction CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU for my replication work?

"Error in validation" in order replication from ECC to CRM.

Hi,experts,we always have a problem,that is the "Billed" status can not be replicated to CRM from ECC(We excute billing in ECC).
In the BDOC we always have error message "Error in Validation (Details: transaction SMW01)".
I found the preceding contract of the order had been locked by the middleware user.
Is it related with the BDOC validation??
Can anybody suggest?

Please unlock Queue using SMQ1 ( Outbound ) & SMQ2 (Inbound Queue)
First try using SMQ1 & SMQ2 in CRM then try in ECC.

Vendor replication from ECC to SUS

Hi Gurus,
We are replicating vendors from ECC to SUS.
The XML message is failing in the SUS side.
The error is
Error during proxy processing An exception with the type CX_BBPX1_STD_MESSAGE_FAULT occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause Application

Problem in customer replication from ECC to CRM

Hi experts,
When I create a customer in ECC using Tcode XD01 a BDOC is created in CRM. But this Bdoc shows following errors:--
     Partner (): the following errors occurred
     Incorrect input data:
     Validation error occurred: Module CRM_BUPA_MAIN_VAL, BDoc type BUPA_MAIN.
When I see the Bdoc message body the data(central data etc )is all blank except the field Object = BUSINESSPARTNER.
Why the Bdoc messae is not getting populated with correct value?
Also how I can see the data which is being sent from ECC. Is there any Idoc or something created at ECC outbound side where I can see the sent data?
Where in XD01 bdoc message is being created?
Please help.

Hi Vimal,
You'd need to debug the FM CRM_BUPA_MAIN_VAL to find out what was the cause of validation error. Once you get the missing details, check if those details are being populated correctly at ECC end.
