Report erroring out with 'Invalid parameter requested' in Siebel.

Hello -
I have 9 parameters on a template, excluding the two delivered out-of-the-box by siebel to enter the Language and Locale. Recently, if i enter a language value of 'ESP' ( or any other language value), it errors out with 'Invalid parameters requested' error. On reviewing the OC4j log file, i noticed that the language parameter ('ESP') is actually being applied to another parameter in my template that accespts only 'Yes/No' boolean values. This occurs randomly, there is no particular pattern to this.

We have set up a demo environment at work to upgrade to R12 with Vision database. Discoverer Admin is patched to this level: 10.1.2.2 (Path#4960210) with EBS patch 5985072. The iAS on linux box which is running Discoverer server is patched with same 10.1.2.2 as well. So client and server are at the same level. I followed Note 373634.1 - Using Discoverer 10.1.2 with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 to integrate Discoverer 10.1.2 with E-Business Suite Release 12 and copied over vis.dbc file to the client (C:\oracle\BIToolHome_01\secure) and also copied the same file to $BI_ORACLE_HOME/discoverer/secure folders. So far so good. I can connect to disco plus/admin/desktop using sysadmin or any other users shipped out of box with R12 VIS instance. A default apps EUL_US exist with some business area and workbooks. I can run them without any issues.
My problem is any FND users that I create cannot login via Plus/desktop/admin. I get the error username/password is invalid. I can login with this newly created user to apps no problem. I can see this user in discoverer when logged in as SYSADMIN and I granted all the privileges(admin as well) necessary. Also, any user shipped in VIS instance if updated (password changed or responsibility added) stops working and throws the same error.
What could be going wrong ?
I did look at this thread and have done all that is suggested by Michael and Rod west.

Hi,
Check whether there are any signon system profile options set. For example, case sensitive passwords set in the system profiles can cause a problem because Discoverer does not support them.
Also try doing a connection trace on Discoverer Desktop to see how far the connection attempt progresses. Follow Metalink Note 329898.1 for instructions.

None of these seem to have worked.
Also refered to the the previous forum entries on these. But did not find anything specific to EBS. Most of them were related to Standalone installations.

Report errors out.

All,
One of my reports has a parameter (say entity_id) where the user can select one value (entity_id=1) or multiple values (entity_id=1, 2, 3, 4) or All (entity_id =*) values for that parameter (entity_id). The report handles all the 3 cases correctly but in case of 'All' the report errors out and I'm getting an error saying that
the page cannot be displayed in IE This might be because of the huge data retrieved from the DB.
When I run the report for single parameter value the report is taking about 4 to 5 secs. For two values in that parameter it’s taking about 8 to 9 secs and for 3 values in that parameter it’s taking 10-11 secs. So, if say, on an average it’s taking about 5 secs to run the report for one value. If the user selects ‘All’ for that parameter it might take upto 45 mins to run the report.
Is there a timeout thing in BI Pub when the report is running?

Does the report error out or does the browser give up? I suspect the browser times out waiting. How much data is being retrieved with the All option? Typically if the report has not rendered within 10 secs then it ought to be scheduled rather than waiting for it i the browser.
there is currently no method to allow the user to submit such a report and after 10 secs offer them the ability to schedule. All they can do is cancel the request and then schedule.

Restart the manager/ get it restarted and test the issue.

Min max planning report errors out

Min max planning is defined at Organization level with the source type as
supplier.
Min max report errors out for restock option "yes".
Following is the error message in the log file
MSG-00069: Calling INV_MMX_WRAPPER_PVT.exec_min_max from Before Report Trigger
MSG-00070: INV_MMX_WRAPPER_PVT.exec_min_max returned an error:
REP-1825: Before Report trigger returned FALSE.
Have checked all the possible causes
1)work day calender
2)Default delivery location
3)profile option.
Also applied a patch for this error

BO 4.1 report errors out

Please help me out with below issue
We have a .net web application accessing BO 4.1 CMS server with SP2 through BO SDK for .net to display existing reports from BO Server and we have below environment
QA Setup =>   .NET app server 1 + BO Server 1
PROD Setup => .NET app server 2 + BO Server 1
in above combination BO reports works as expected from PROD setup but getting below in consistency while accessing the reports from QA box
1. Getting "Problem with server's security certificate" from QA instance of the app but the same BO server works fine from PROD. (verified the server certificate and its valid for another 4 years)
2. after showing java applet window for a while report errors out and just display JRE runtime error without giving much debugg info
3. browser profiler shows data getting downloaded on the client browser but still errors out
we are generating the token as shown below and direct report URL ( with .jsp to call apache server) is passed to load the report to an iFrame.

I am importing a Transport request containing Transfromations, DTPs from Dev to QC system and it is erroring out with Code 12 and error is as follows

Note: As you are re-importing the Transport Request, there may be a chance of the deletion of some of DTP's or Transformations in DEV system.
Please check whether all the DTP's and Transformations are present in the DEV system (and active also) by comparing with transport request.

Perl adpreclone.pl dbTier errors out with RC-50013

Am performing a clone of an 11.5.10.2 system running on Redhat linux 3.0.
When i run perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier,it errors out with the following error whenever it gets to 16%.
AutoConfig is exiting with status 1476

Could anyone be having a clue of how to go about this issue?
I read the solution on metalink and the solution i was given is to go to Note 307954.1 which tells me to "Modify the target's instconf.drv and remove the offending lines"
Now,the problem is that the offending lines are too too many....Is there any other way round this problem?????

Hit the redeem button.
Errors out with:
"A valid address is necessary to purchase using store credit. Click on Billing Info to go to the address page and correct your address."
My address on my account is correct and I have been able to purchase songs in the past.
Any body having the same issue?

I had the same problem, but it was corrected by switching the directional (n,s,e,w) to come before the numerical address in my account information page. (instead of 1234 S Park Ln, it now reads S 1234 Park Ln). Hope this helps.

I have a problem when I execute the command: Remove-FASTSearchMetadataManagedProperty, it errors out with:

Receiving Transaction Manager concurrent program errors out with INACTIVE, NO Manager

Hi,
We have an R12.1.3, 2-node (1 node Apps, 1 node DB) ERP system on Sparc 64, Solaris 10 Machines.
All the concurrent managers including Standard Manager and Receiving Transaction Manager are running fine.
When we are running the concurrent program Receiving Transaction Manager(RCVTPO), it errors out with Inactive No Manager error.
I am not being able to find any errors in the log files of CM or DB.
Could someone help me resolve this error. Its kinda urgent

Are there any errors in the database log file?
If the above didn't help, please run cmclean.sql and ccm.sql scripts.

certain trigger in your form is throwing an exception and its not being catched by the exception part for your block. check the code of your trigger and pur exception handling into your trigger code
