Report For list of material Master with PO text

Hi all,
I need a report whether it is available in Standard SAP or a customized, for List of Material Master with their PO text.
If any one can help, please reply to this theard.

To get the material number combined with the PO text you will need the help of an ABAP programmer. The programmer can create a report for you using the function module READ_TEXT in the function group STXD. The tables to use are:
STXH - STXD SAPscript text file header
STXL - STXD SAPscript text file lines
The selection screen should have at least the following:
OBJECT - STXH-TDOBJECT
NAME - STXH-TDNAME
LANGUAGE - STXH-TDSPRAS
TEXTID - STXH-TDID
You find the information for these fields by going to the PO text entry screen and displaying the header information under Goto -> Header. For materials, the object is MATERIAL, the name is "material number", the language is "EN", and the text ID is BEST. You can use this program to get long text in lots of places like information records, purchase order texts, etc.

material master records:
Field TDOBJECT = 'MATERIAL'
Field TDNAME = material number (MARA-MATNR).
So you should be able to write a small report to extract the data.

Upload Material master with long text using LSMW

Hello,
i want ot upload material master data via MM01 using LSMW in following views: basic data 1 ,2, purchasing, purchase order text, plant data 1,2.
i have to upload long text in purchase order text with length more then 132 char. (approx 700 char long text). and i have text file in which long text is maintained in a single row. then how can i do it without formating text file or anyother possible solution.
please help.

Report for list of locked pernrs problem..

the requirement is like need to generate a report for list of locked pernrs with the following fields as pernr,fullname,PA(text and code),EG and ESG(text and code),changed on,changed by,position text and also quering any of the fields...
Through SQ01 i did generated the report but its not giving the complete output such as the code and text is not showing in one report, the changed by and changed on column cant be queried as it doesnt exit....there should be one report with all the mentioned details of an employee....please provide me the solution...!

Hi, you have to use switch in your infoset (or in a copy of the infoset):
*$HR$ [COMMON]
*$HR$ PROCESS_LOCKED_RECORDS = 'X'
(go to-> coding- > data, then generate the infoset and regenerate a query if its already created).

I create sales org/ material level pricing conditions in VK11. Some unwanted material pricing conditions are with Deletion indicator active. Iu2019m looking for a report to list all material sales pricing condition with deletion indicator active.
Please advice me on this.

Hi Goto v/ld and select 16 which stands for individual prices, and then populate sales organization, distribution channel, customer ,material numbers,etc...and tick "Cond.marked for deletion" check box in "list screen" tab which is the most important, execute you will be able to see all material pricing condition even though it had been deleted.

Ask the abaper to write an query from the table S032 there you can find the option of last good receipt date and the last goods issue issue date.
consider the various good mvt in between these dates calcuate the diffence betwee the current date and the last good issue date, so that you can abel to get the stock list that is not moving for more than 60 days,120 days etc
You can also use MC46, MC50, MB5M - expiration date list . In case if that does not solve their requirement then you need take logic from client and you need to develop own report

Hi,
If it is one time requirement, you can run the report LT23 and download the data to excel sheet and donwload material details in another sheet and you can match the temperature column in excel file.
If it is permanent requirement, create a query and attach transaction code to that or write a seperate report for this requirement.

List of material master

Dear experts,
We had a query sorting the list of material master, based on the "old material number" (MARA-BISMT ) and "material number" (MARA-MATNR.) It was running in BI.
Then our user added the requirement to be able to select by "sales org"(TVKO-VKORG ), "disctribution channel" (TVKOV-VTWEG ) and "division" (TVTA-SPART.)
And our BI developper said it was impossible to achieve this. So we had an ABAPper take over and develop it.
But I wonder why this is not possible and I thought I'd ask the community about this.
Is this because we are using master data data source?

You can add the new fileds to append structure and populate the data by writeing the code in CMOD.
1.Goto RSA6 Select DatasourceClick on u2018Enhance Extract Sturcu2019
2. Create the Append Structure and add the fileds with ZZ/YY.
3. Save and Activate the Datasource.
4. Write the Code in CMOD to populate the Data to newly added fileds.
Goto COMD Select Project name Select Display.
5. Click on u2018ZXRSAU01u2019.
6. Select EXIT_SAPLARSAP_002: Exit for Master Data Attribute.
7. Write the code under the declaration of WHEN u2018Datasourceu2019.
8. Check and Save the Code.
9. Goto RSA6 Select your Datasource Double click on it Uncheck from u2018Unhideu2019 Column.
10. Save and activate the datasource.
11. Check the data in RSA3.
12. Replicate the data source in BI Side.

SAP has designed its system to use the standard transaction way to update any fields, no direct table update should be made.
I have seen so many direct table updates in my career, and what do you think why I have get knowledge about that?
Because it was done incorrectly.
There are that many dependcies in SAP, you never really know them all.
People changed (or deleted entries) in one table, but forgot the update in a second dependend table.
You should be a very experience consultant before you may consider direct table updates, and when you became an experience consultant, then you know that you will not do that.

Dear,
It is very simple.
Enter MM01 t-code.
Enter your existing material code in field of reference material code.
If your material number range is external number range then enter number of material otherwise direct enter industry sector and material type.
After enter basic detail system ask you plant/storage location detail and view detail.
Select reference plant and storage location in left sight of diglog and enter plant and storage location in right sight of diglog screen for which you want to maintain material master.
Then click on all view, If you want to change some detail change it.
Due to reference material all detail is come from reference material.
Then click on save.
NOTE: - You can create new material with reference of old material but it is prerequest material type should be same of both material old and new.
