Report showing "Notes" from Business Event in TEM

Do you know a standard report which can show the Notes for Business Events?

Hi!
There is one option to do so, however this report has not exactly the purpose you mentioned, but with some tirick you can have the notes )
Report: Business Event Brochure -> TA Code: S_AHR_61016218 (you can find it under the node Information/Events... in TEM in SAP menu)
Here you can choose an event type or an event group and set the following under "Formatting options":
Extended formatting options -> delete here all the fields they are not necessary for your query and leave only the "Notes on event" there.
After clicking on execution you will receive the notes exist on this object and you can tranform the SAP report into Winword format clicking the button above in the menu on the left-hand side.
This issue needs some resources but works fine.
Unfortunately there aren't any other standard reports but ad-hoc queries.

I have a BPEL process that consumes a TCA business event "oracle.apps.ar.hz.Person.create". But the problem is that the event raised does not contain any data (keys only). Is there any way to get customer data by this way ? How ? Thank you,

If your payload contains only keys, then you could have a db adapter/apps adapter to query up required data from the apps database using those keys.
To do this, you need to be aware of the table corresponding to the entity whose keys are available in your event payload. For example if you are subscribing to the inventory item create event, you might want to put up an apps adapter to query mtl_system_items_b using the inventory_item_id.

UCCX 10.5 Real Time Report shows "Not Connected"

Hi,
UCCX 10.5 HA over LAN.
As per the title, RTR shows Not connected for both nodes and no data shown for all reports. all services are In service in both nodes.
Any Ideas?

Are you accessing this via the IE or FF? If so which version?
The Real time reporting on UCCX connects to the RMI port 6999 to pull the information on the Engine. If there are no port blockages or if there are no issues with the browsers, then it is a problem with the configuration files in root holding this information which needs in depth analysis.
A restart of the Engine also should help. I know that everything is IN SERVICE, but I have noticed a lot of issues on UCCX 10.5 when there are stuck calls on the system, it impacts RTR with the midnight stats reset.
The reset of the Engine is bound to clear all the stuck calls in the system and this may be a side effect of the stuck calls on the system especially if the RTR was working before you noticed the problems.

Getting ORA-20002: 3825: Error '-4061-ORA-04061: Error from business event

Hi,
I have defined custom subscription to the iRecruitment business event oracle.apps.per.api.assignment.update_apl_asg . In this custom subscription i am launching a custom workflow to send Notification about offer acceptance or Application Submission information.
The subscription package is in my custom schema. When i do transaction to invoke the subscription i am getting below error.
ORA-20002: 3825: Error '-4061 - ORA-04061: existing state of has been invalidated ORA-04061: existing state of package
"XXPJ.XXPJ_IREC_EXT_COMPONENTS_PK" has been invalidated ORA-04065: not executed, altered or dropped package "XXPJ.PT in Package irc_party_swi Procedure
registered_user_application.
I need to bounce the Workflow services and Apache server to clear this error and functionality work for some time, again after doing 3-4 transaction i get the same error.
Any help on this appreciated.

From error: "existing state of has been invalidated ORA-04061" It only can happen when current db session finds this package as INVALID. Now when which cases it can find ir INVALID:
1) One case is that: some other db session "really" compiled your current package. Please note: even if the status is VALID but other db session will see that as INVALID in first attempt and in second attempt, current db session will try to recompile that on-the-fly.
2) Or Some other db session compiled or altered dependent objects, I mean objects on which your current package is dependent on.

Is it possible to let iCal change the color or other appearance of an event when switching 'show as' from "busy" to free""?

As the header states, I am looking for a way to incorporate both "busy" and "free" events in 1 calendar. But I would like to be able to see the difference between events without having to maintain another "pencil" calendar.
Would be great to have them be greyed out or get another color.

Hmm... I hadn't thought of XControls! I'd rather not go that route, though, in the interest of keeping the error handler code as light as possible. (In the daemon itself I don't mind more complexity) If I did that, the cure might be more expensive than the problem it solves.

Sadly, this app is rather "free form". It has a lot of multi-threaded, asynchronous operations since I'm performing parallel TCP communication to several hosts. Each dynamically called VI calls the error handler.
Option 2 might be a decent idea, though. If I went with that, I'd just have to tweak the architecture accordingly. It may well be the most feasible solution.

Business Events Data Not Dequeuing

Hi ,
We would like to capture a few business events in oracle BOM and PO that are of interest to us. In order to do this,
we deploy oracle SOA composite with BEPL in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Control. The oracle SOA composite is configured for a particular outbound business event. It should listens on a specific queue WF_BPEL_Q or WF_BPEL_QTAB and de-queues the messages from that Oracle Queue or Oracle AQ Table. In jDeveloper 11g we created a SOA project with oracle applications adapter partner link and a BPEL Process with a receive acvity.
Specifically we are trying to capture the business outbound event oracle.apps.bom.component.modified just to get the event data in this receive.
Partner link configuration: We added the database connection to the oracle EBS instance. Tested it and we
succeded. Chose ANY_SCHEMA in partner link configuration.
We ensured that the JNDI Name here( eis/Apps/Apps ) match the JNDI name provided in the weblogic-->Deployments--
OracleAppsAdapter -->Configuration --> Outbound Connection Pools. For this outbound resource pool, Connection factory interface was javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory. Property name xADataSourceName was mapped to JNDI name of the configured JDBC datasource in the weblogic. When we created the connection pool. We tested and it worked fine. This data source had the connection pool configured to the oracle applications schema with APPS user.
After adding the partner link with the above configuration, we added a receive. We deployed this configuration to the middleware. We went to the oracle EBS modified a BOM component and we expected to having running BPEL instances against the deloyed composite. However, the problem is we are not having any running instance for the composite.
We found that there are entries in the view AQ$WF_BPEL_QTAB with an ENQ_TIME and ENQ_TIMESTAMP but with no DEQ_TIME or DEQ_TIMESTAMP. The ENQ_TIMESTAMP corresponds to the time we modified BOM in oracle BOM forms/Designer and MSG_STATE is READY
The data is being written in WF_BPEL_QTAB for the BOM changes but not getting dequeued by oracle applications adapter/composites deployed in soa server.
Please help me it quite urgent.
Is there anything we are missing on EBS side to be activited for the events to be dequeued

I am able to dequeue the data using manual event testing button. BPEL instance are being created now.
But now no records are being inserted in WF_BPEL_QTAB if i change any Oracle BOM component using Oracle EBS which was working till yesterday.
In morning there were more than 100 records in WF_BPEL_QTAB as i have tested so many time changing bom component. I used this script

Problem Description
we need to listen to the outbound business events of Oracle EBS for BOM/PO modules .
we have created a subscription for the oracle.apps.bom.component.modified by using Oracle Apps Adapter in SOA Suite.
1.
When we are testing oracle.apps.bom.component.modified from(Business Events--Events ---TestBusiness Events) by giving
dummy event key , send date, and xml payload and then click on Rainse in Java.
Then a two records are being created in WF_BPEL_QTAB table and are getting polled by Oracle Apps adapter and two BPEL Instances
are being created in SOA Suite showing the dummy payload which we entered while doing Business Event testing sigle time only.
No record is being created in WF_BPEL_QTAB of oracle EBS if we hit Raise in PL/SQL. tab while doing manual event testing.
2.
If we open Oracle BOM form(Responsibilty-Bills of Material -Bills -Bills of Material SV1) and change the component and save it.
No record entry/data is being created in WF_BPEL_QTAB of Oracle EBS .
Why there is no record entry being created when we change any component from Oracle BOM Form.

TEM Eror when Book business event

Hi,
i need help from all of you.
i try to book a business event for a list of attendee.
But face 'cancel' and 'error' message.
After check, i found that this attendee can book for business event has been past e.g. 08.10.2007 -10.10.2007 EN:ALI3213 but couldn't book for business event in future date 22.10.2007- 23.10.2007 EN:ALI3213.
Business event date : 22.10.2007- 23.10.2007 EN:ALI3213 8:00-17:00
Planned Working Time (IT007) : 22.10.2007- 23.10.2007 8:30 - 17:30
To solve it, I try to do substitution for this attendee , as the planned working time is differ from business event time, so i substitute this attendee to 8:00- 17:00 for date above. After that, it works, TEM allows me to book this attendee
However, i need advice from expert, how come i need to do substitution just can book for future business event? it is not logically that if i have 100 attendee, then i need to do 100 transaction of substitution.
Is that relate to configuration? FYI , that's all W warning in table V_T77KV_1

In your reply, you mention that i have set Warning in V_T77KV_1 to control the employee booking, byright the system could proceed the booking with 'Warning' only. However, now the system still prompt with error and cancel message.
Is any standard BADI control for this ? Check the infotype 0007 of the attendee ?
There's more than 7 attendee with different planing working time, i still fail to book these attendees in future event which start time and end time of the bussiness event is different with their planning working time.
Could you help to send me up the Configuration Note for TEM ?

Business Event Group

Dear all
When i am going in S_AHR_61011889 to create a new business group i am able to create a business event group but it is not showing in PSV2 i.e. business event menu. Instead it is showing in S_AHR_61011887 - Master Data Catalog .
When i am creating a new Business event type and assigning the same to the above created Business event group then it disappears from S_AHR_61011887 - Master Data Catalog .
Ideally when a new business event group is created it should be shown in PSV2 i.e. business event menu but it is not showing.
Please help me out to solve this issue. Its urgent.

Creating a business event group is not a problem. T Code which you have given, business event group can be created but is is still being shown in Master Data Catalog and not in business event menu.
Creating a relationhip of event type & event group cvan be done but as soon as it is created it disappears from mastr data catalog.
In the past when ever i have created event group & event type it was shown in PSV2 i.e. business event menu.
Please guide me.

But for the same for the same period if I try to create with resources its taking

Issues on exporting the report to Excel from full client BO 5.1

Hi,
I am facing a problem in exporting the BO report from Business Objects 5.1 to excel file. I am aware that there is no direct way to export the BO report to Excel from Business Objects(File--> save as to .txt file and then copy its data to excel )
When the export the BO report to excel file,I received two errors one over other
error1: Numeric data overflow (3349)
When I click OK button, second error received is like this
error2:export failed (dma0005)
I tried all options to fix this and also I looked for an dialog box " export to external file format " in Business Objects inorder to copy the report data to COPY TO DDE option but I didn't find any aforementioned dialog box
Please provide me the solution to fix the issues

Are you telling me to isolate the object from the universe that is creating problems and then run the report ?
Also, I am unable to find the option from menu items in Full client BO 5.1 to open the dialog box with name " export to external file format ". Can you please tell me where I can find this?

Incomplete Data on report (report does not show all records from the table)

I have problem with CR XI, I'm running the same report on the same data with simple select all records from the table (no sorting, no grouping, no filters)
Sometimes report shows me all records sometimes not. Mostly not all records on the report. When report incomplete sometimes it shows different number of records.
I'm using CR XI runtime on Windows Server 2003

Sorry Alexander. I missed the last line where you clearly say it is runtime.
A few more questions:
- Which CR SDK are you using? The Report Designer Component or the CR assemblies for .NET?
- What is the exact version of CR you are using (from help | about)
- What CR Service Pack are you on?
And a troubleshooting suggestion:
Since this works on some machines, it will be a good idea to compare all the runtime (both CR and non CR) being loaded on a working and non working machines.

PLD Report does not show data from Query

Hello,
SAP b1 9.0 PL08 on MSSQL 2008 and I get data on the query, but when the PLD prints, it shows nothing. Is there a way to filter the data that the PLD shows? Does PLD have its own SQL script it uses b/c its not showing data from the query.

Business Event Appraisal - Not showing in PA30

Hi All,
We are implementing TEM on SAP 5.0 and replaced the old appraisal system with new appraisal system.
I have prepared the Appraisal for Business Event, by selecting Attendee as appraiser and Business Event as Apraisee, the problem I am encountering here is after the preparation the document is not shown in any of the following areas in PA30 for infotype 25.
1) Appraisal where Apraiser
2) Objective setting & Appraisal(Open)
But the Appraisal templates which are created under Personnel Appraisal(in PHAP_CATALOG), is shown but not the Appraisal templates which are created under SAP Learning Solution(in PHAP_CATALOG).
Is there any configuration inorder to get this done?
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Can you be precise, I mean which Integration settings your asking me to look into?
One thing I noticed while debugging the code, it is getting Add On Application as 'PA', and passing this parameter to get the Personel Appraisal templates, in case if I modify as 'PD' in the debugging mode, it is fetching the Business Event Appraisal along with Personel Appraisal. Is there any setting for this to have PD passed in to the Add on Application variable.

Can I shared calender via iCal with other, but not showing the detail of event, only as "busy"?

I have successfully shared a few iCal calender with my PA (she can read only), but I do have a personal calender that I want her to know I am busy, but not necessary need her to know who I will be with
I know in google you can still display your calender event but just show it as busy instead of detail, are there anyway to do the same in iCal via iCloud?
My primary calender is iCal (on my two Mac, iphone and iPad), there were I do all my update ... I heard I could do the work around it by sync it to google calender and achieve the same as well, but that seems would be too complicated ...
(When I did a search I found similar question but they seems not using the latest app and iCloud, so sorry if I am duplicate question here)

iCloud calendar will not do what you are asking. Using Google calendar is a different thing, but I'm not familiar with it and using it with iCloud.
