Can't find 1:1.85 aspect option when creating Project
Can't find 1:1.85 aspect option when creating Project.
I have files shot on Canon C300 in 16:9, but we had the 1:1.85 aspect lines on the camera and I can't figure out how to incorporate those frame lines for editing.
Is the best way to do it when creating the project? Or is the best way to edit the files in 16:9 and mask the final product?

To Blank out system default requested delivery date when create Sales Order
Hi Experts,
I am facing a problem when create Sales Order doc copy with reference to a contract.
The create with reference screen under the Contract tab, SAP default with current date as the Requested delivery date.
Is there any way to blank out this default as I need to use the requested delivery data in the contract doc ?
Many Thanks.
Regards,
XavierHi,
Try this--
While defining the Contract sales docment type in VOV8, uncheck the proposed delivery date field in the tab Requested delivery date/ reqested pricing date/reqested prchase order date
I will not propose the system date and leaves the field blank
you can enter the required delivery date.
Hope this will work

Why do I not see the "More" option when I click on Music?
After turning on home sharing, when I go to access my library directions say to click on Music>More>Shared. When I click on Music there is no More option on the screen. If I go into the store the More option just shows different styles of music.
For Home Sharing to work on an iDevice (iPod, iPad, iPhone) you must be logged in to the same wifi using the same Apple ID. Home sharing must be enabled in iTunes on your computer and iTunes must remain open. On your iDevice > Settings > Music > Home Sharing > enter Apple ID and Password.

Garbled text when creating hyperlinks
I have a user who is creating hyperlinks in the Table of Contents of a 500 page PDF to pages within the PDF. After 10-15 hyperlinks, she gets strange characters and garbled text on some of the pages. If she saves and closes the document and reopens, she can go back to working but it will reoccur soon again. She is using Acrobat 9 Professional on Windows 7 Enterprise. She has the latest updates for Acrobat. Any thoughts?
thanksMost of the document was converted from Microsoft Excel 2007 documents. The Table of Contents was converted from Microsoft Word 2007 document.

Request time out when creating content database
Hello,
my problem is, that i cannot create a SharePoint content database via the central administration.
My Setup is the following:
SharePoint Server 2013 Enterprise Farm
1x Applikation Server/WFE (Windows Server 2012 SP 1)
1x Database Server MSSQL Server 2012 (Windows Server 2012 SP 1)
1x TFS 2013 (Windows Server 2012 SP 1)
all of them are hosted in the same Hyper-V Environment. It is not the fasted Hyper-V Environment existing on planet earth.
The weirdest part of the problem is, i am able to create a content database via powershell.
I am running in some kind of time out issue related to the IIS and CA of that Applikation Server.
Here is the ULS Log from the failling content database creation via CA

The fact that i am able to create a content database through powershell sorts out permissions problems. I am certain of that because the w3wp.exe and the powershell.exe used for both creations were run under the same user.
The timeout always happens aroud 120 seconds after i started the creation. The creation via powershell takes about 3,5 minutes.
Here for the folks that ask me, why i haven't asked google or bing or some other search engine.
I tried the solutions suggested here
http://www.sharepointpals.com/post/Error-while-Creating-Web-Application-through-Central-Administration , here
http://anthonyspiteri.net/sharepoint-2010-web-ui-timeout-creating-web-application-quick-fix/ and here
http://blogs.ibs.com/Duane.Odum/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=33
which i thought pointed me to the right solution.
But those post unfortunatly didnt worked out.
I also tried to alter the web.config files (i know that isn't recommended or supported, but it didn't change anything so those are back to normal as well)
So here are my question:
Can you guys help me solve this issue?
Are there any other places where timeouts can be managed or defined?
P.S.: I am new to using this forum. so pls don't crucify me for doing a mistake.
P.S.S: My english is very poor also :D
With best regards
SimonBe careful with settings like these because there may be a much deeper issue at hand. I have had an issue with a customer that manifests itself as a timeout on a site collection. It was very hard to track since it didn't happen frequently. We engaged Microsoft
Support to find out the root cause but all they could point at is a general network issue that pertains to authentication. After digging deeper, we found out that the network issue was caused by a saturated network connectivity to the domain controller that
impacts a site collection when the database is making an authentication call. Keep this solution as more of a quick fix but be sure to conduct a deeper investigation of the real root cause

How to disable email option when creating a form
I am creating a pdf flyer in either Pro or LiveCycle. And I want to provie a space for people to enter their personal information (form fields).
I want them to be able to save this and print it. I don't want to give them a submit option (to send via email). (So I will be "distributing" the form - and I can't Distribute without providing an email.)
I know I can remove the Submit button from the form, but even when there is no Submit Button, when you open the form in READER (which most will be using), Reader itself provides an option to Submit form. How do I prevent this??
Or, is there any way to create a fillable form that will allow others to save without "distributing" the form? I am thinking the "distributing" is what is causing the email to be linked to the form.
I hope I have explained this well. Any direction would be appreciated.
Thanks! You have a point, if your users are filling the form in with Reader, they won't be able to save the data with the form unless the form has been "Reader Extended" (which enables this functionality in Reader for the particular form)
If you have Acrobat Pro, you can "extend" the form before you send it to the users. The following is from the Acrobat Pro help...
Enable Reader users to save form data
Ordinarily, Reader users can’t save filled-in copies of forms that they complete. However, you can extend rights to Reader users so they have the ability to do so. These extended rights also include the ability to add comments, use the Typewriter tool, and digitally sign the PDF.
1. Open a single PDF, or select one or more PDFs in a PDF Portfolio.
2. Choose Advanced > Extend Features In Adobe Reader.
These extended privileges are limited to the current PDF. When you create a different PDF form, you must perform this task again if you want to enable Reader users to save their own filled-in copies of that PDF.

Can I limit options when creating digital sig?
Hi, all. Thanks, in advance, for any help :-)
We have created an application in LiveCycle and have incorporated digital signatures to allow applicants to sign the various forms within the application, including W-4 and I-9. I have several questions and will post some as other topics, but let's start with this...
The average person filling out one of these applications jack around with options in the create digital ID wizard that they don't need to change, so I want to know if there is a way to lock down these options, such as the font, digital sig file type, country and show only the create new ID option in the first dropdown rather than showing every ID that's been created on that pc. As well, some options are totally unneccesary and I would like them to not show up at all.
Is there any way I can change these things in the wizard?
Thanks,
MichelleMichelle
As I mentioned in my reply to yuor other question, when Acrobat is used to create a digital certificate, it is creating a self-signed certificate that conforms to the X509 certificate standard. I'm sure that the information that the self-signed certificate creation wizard in Acrobatis capturing is necessary to create a valid X509 digital certificate.
There is no way that I am aware of to "customize" the self-signed certificate creation wizard in Acrobat.

Different contact options when creating a new text message
Hi all,
On my Q10, I have the following "issue":
When I want to type a new sms message to somebody listed in my contacts, I get not only the mobile phone number linked to that contact person but also e-mail addresses, fixed number...
Is there any way I can change a setting for this so that only mobile numbers are displayed while creating a new text message (SMS)? Fixed phone number and mail addresses are just not relevant.
On the other hand, when I want to create a new e-mail, I only see the mail addresses of my contact I am sending to.
In my blackberry HUB I have following account (most probably the reason why I see other contact details while creating new text messages):
Mail
Facebook
LinkedIn
Please advise.
Many thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Thomas

Mod Edit: Removed personal information to comply with Community Guidelines and Terms and Conditions of Use.I've not found a way to remove that additional contact information when composing an SMS.

I have a site with the default document library.
I add views to the library, some ask for the items to be shown in folders, some not.
I create a site template via the SharePoint UI.
I create a new site.
In the new site, the library exists, the views exist, but all the views are set to show the items in folders.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a patch or any workaround?Hi ,
According to your description, my understanding is that view property "show all items without folders" is not preserved in packaging and is lost after we create a site using the saved site template.
For your issue, I can reproduce your scenario in my environment. It should be caused by the scope attribute is missing. For a workaround, you can try to crack the site template wsp, add the missing scope
attribute to the View schema in the list schema.xml.
Also, I recommend you open up a ticket for deep investigation.
Thanks,
Eric

Payment option 'none' disappeared when creating account
When creating a new iTunes account, the option to select no payment option ('none') has disappeared. The only options available are Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
Have tried this on both an iPad an an iPhone and the option is not available.
I've created a number of accounts over the past 2/3 weeks and the option was available then.
Anyone else having this problem or know what we can do about this?Shuttler wrote:

This has never been an option when creating a new account.
After you create the account, None will show up to allow you to remove your CC info.
If you wish to create an account without a CC, you can do this
-> Create an iTunes App Store account without a credit card

Creating Custom fields does not have the option to create as a Note field
Of course I have a sales VP that wants to be able to see what they are typing instead of having it scroll off the screen as they type (even though once they save the record the data is fully displayed).
Before I go to customer care is there a way for me to request through support that two custom fields I created as Text (Long) can be changed (or new ones created) behind the scenes as a Note field similar to the Comments field? Note is not an user option when creating a custom field.
I ucan not just rename the description field in the account record as I am already using that field for comments.
Thanks,
CarynIt is not possible at this time to create a custom Note field. This is something that is on the On Demand roadmap as a enhancement.
