We have developed a desktop application using Flash software and published the same for MAC environment. When we double click on the index.app file, the application is working perfectly in Mac 10.6.7 at our office. But if the same index.app file is double clicked in Mac 10.6.7 at out clients location, its not opening. For your information the client is able to open this same application by double clicking on index.swf file. The main problem is that client is not able to open the application using index.app file at their office whereas we are able to do so at our office. Can anyone give some suggestions to sort this problem?

The most common reason is different versions of Flash, or different versions of web browsers used. Some users may elect to not have Flash installed at all because of the processor overhead of Flash. If you are going to make an application for a client, check what operating system and browser versions they are using first. Then determine if a stand alone application is required, or if they have the necessary plugins to run specific browser enhanced code.
P.S. MAC is an acronym for Media Access Control. Mac is the shorthand for Macintosh, the operating system and computers made by Apple Inc.

it keeps asking me to license my software and then it asks for a serial number, i do not have a serial number with creative cloud just a order number what do I do?

In my case, I had to remove the following lines from the hosts file:
120.0.0.1 lmlicenses.wip4.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com
After that all worked again. Hope this helps.

Try these 3 possible solutions:
1. Restart iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
2. Close inactive Apps
Double-click the Home button; hold Apps down (in the Task Bar) for a second or two until you see the minus sign. Tap and close all inactive Apps.
3. Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the red slider.

Its always best to pick up the phone and call ORACLE if you have any questions about licensing. Sometimes they can give you a good deals.

Desktop software and blue tooth connection for text messaging

Hello,
I'm a new Blackberry Torch user and have really gotten used to using the desktop software that came with the Nokia phone I had previously. I assumed that Blackberry would have the same or better desktop to phone compatibility, but have found the Blackberry desktop software to be only mediocre. Where is the ability to send and receive text from the desktop, via Bluetooth connection?
Is this an option that has to be downloaded separately or does it even exist? Why isn't it possible to sync pictures and just about anything via Bluetooth? Using to cord is not only inconvenient but archaic. I've owned and loved the Palm Tungsten E2, which was doing this years ago. Is it possible to use the desktop from another company so that I can use the features that I'm used to? And since I am new to Blackberry, do these things already exist, but I haven't connected to them yet? I would like to continue using the Nokia Ovi Suite if possible. Thanks in advance for your time.

Reconciliation and data verification approaches for data in sap r/3 and bw

What you can do is, go to R/3 transaction RSA3 and run the extractor, it gives you the number of records extracted and then go to BW Monitor to check the number of records in the PSA.
if it's the same, there you go.
there is an HOW-TO Document on service market place "Reconcile Data Between SAP Source Systems and SAP BW".
Check this document as well which is very helpful.
There is another HOW-TO document "Validate infocube data by comparing it with PSA Data". this is also a good document.

Why Has Adobe Removed The Option For Individuals To Purchase Software And Not Use The Cloud?

As an individual who has been using Adobe products for about 25 years for my personal use and not as a business, I find the new policy of "renting" the software and using "The Cloud" for, at least in my case, a prohibitive monthly fee, to be totally unacceptable and will result in my no longer being able to afford using Adobe products. I do not understand why Adobe cannot offer their new cloud program for individuals and companies that may wish to use the new system and have the resources to pay in perpertuity, but they should also have the option for those of us who would rather purchase upgrades for whatever programs we use and keep them on our computer without "The Cloud" service.
I am 67 years old and living on a fixed income. I basically use four adobe programs... Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, and Audition as I do volunteer work at a local non-profit radio and tv organization. If I were to "rent" those individually it would cost $80 per month... so I could take the next deal and get access to all software for $50 per month... I cannot afford either of those. If I could upgrade one or more of the programs every two or three years... keeping them on my computer and not using "The Cloud," then continuing to use the products would be doable. However, being forced into a program that requires a monthly fee and use of "The Cloud" which I do not need to use, seems totally unfair. I certainly understand that there are businesses and individuals who will love the new program, but why not have the option? Or perhaps a "Senior" discount as you do for educators and students?
Something to think about. It seems Adobe may be moving to the "Cable Television" model of monthly fees that will go no where but up.

Hey there, you may have heard that Adobe is continuing to sell and support CS6 for customers who prefer traditional licensing. It's last year's version instead of the latest-and-greatest CC release, but it's something to consider if that's important to you.
As far as a "senior discount" on Adobe software, there has never been one – but one thing to consider is becoming a student or teacher because there is no age restriction on that, in which case you may become eligible for education discounts.

Software and Licensing confusion for asa5512-ips edition firewall

Hi all, we are looking at purchasing a Cisco ASA 5512-X IPS Edition but we are having a very difficult time trying to figure out what software and licensing we need for it. Can someone please answer the following questions?
1. I see the part number for the software is ASA5512-NI1Y (at least this is what we were told), but I see that some places sell it for over 800 dollars like http://nextwarehouse.com/item/?1518620 and then some sell it for 99 cents, like http://www.pcm.com/p/Cisco-Anti-Virus-&-Security-Software-Licensing/product~dpno~9969455~pdp.ificche - how can this possibly be right? Does the 800 dollar one contain the licenses???
I cannot get a straight answer from Cisco on this, every time I call to ask about it all I get is a sales pitch to buy it from them alone and a promise that someone will call me back "with more details".
2. Is there only one software package for this? As in, if we buy ASA5512-NI1Y will every feature of the firewall be available?

That part number is only for the IPS license of the soon-to-be-discontinued ASA 5512-X with CX module (last day of sales August 17 2015 - reference). It does not include the ASA appliance itself. That said, it is capable of running as a perimeter firewall with basic IPS functionality. No additional software is required (although a support contract on the base ASA appliance is required to add on a current IPS subscription license).
You would be better served with an ASA 5512-X with FirePOWER module. The FirePOWER technology (from the 2013 acquisition of Sourcefire) is more advanced than the signature-based technology in the CX's IPS and will be the strategic platform that is further built upon moving forward.
Any qualified Cisco partner should be able to create a valid quote for you to purchase one.

Problem: LMS 3.2 SP1 do not connect to CCO for software and device updates

LMS 3.2.1
When I try to check Software and Device packages updates for LMS components, it fails with "Error while downloading package information from Cisco.com for the selected products. See the d:/CSCOpx/log/psu.log file for details." diagnostics.
CSCOpx\log\psu.log shows that it fails with 404 error. Looking to wireshark capture, I see that software make GET to http://www.cisco.com, then GET to http://cco.cisco.com/cgi-bin/login, then GET to www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/WLAN/cwselectfile.cgi with some params, which result in "404 Not Found" error nevermind which product (Common Services, Campus Manager, RME, DFM or others) I try to get updates on.
Is there any patch or solution for it?

This will affect all LMS 3.x and 4.x versions.
