Why hasn't iphone 5 reservation started?
It says that we can reserve iphone 5 between 7am to 3pm.
It is 7:22an now!!!!
The reservation has not opened yet!!!!!!!!!
I have been waiting it for so long.......................

We're users here? How could we possibly know?

It sounds as if AT&T has already told you they can't do what you want. It doensn't sould like anything that's fixable on your end.

There's no way, at least at this time, that you can schedule a future date for pickup. If you're not going to be in Hong Kong until November, you'll have to submit your reservation at that time.
Please be aware, if you are not already, that the warranty on the iPhone is not international. So unless you live in China, I would strongly suggest that you buy your iPhone in your country of residence, waiting until the iPhone 5 is released there if it has not been already.

So i have been trying to reserve a white iphone 4s for verizon for the last two hours. And I am reserve it for Glendale Galleria in California. But everytime I go on the Choose Products page, and choose the iphone, the same page reloads without showing me the available/unavailable iphones in my local store. I tried to use it for the other stores and it worked perfectly. I just want to know if it is my problem or everyone else has it too. So please try to see if you can reserve an iphone from Glendale Galleria in California. Please let me know if it works and whether the White 16gb verizon iphone 4s is available. Thank you.

Reserving an iPhone 3GS

When I reserve an iPhone to pick it up on June 19th, does that mean that there will be one there held for me? I work that day and I want to know if I can go to the store to pick it up after work at 6 or if all the new iPhones will be sold out by then...
At the bottom of the iPhone information page is says that Pre-authorization doesn't necessarily mean availability in store and they will be sold on a first come first serve basis. I didn't know if Pre-authorization meant reserving or just finding if your account was up for an upgrade...

I think the only sure way is to order for delivery to you and not a reservation to pickup

I reserved an iphone 4 last week to be picked up in store (I'll pay for it when I pick it up). Is there any way I can change the pick up location? I want to go to a different store to pick it up, but it seems I can't make any changes except cancel the reservation.
So could I make a new reservation online? I can't seem to find where to do so on this website...?

You are in Canada and that makes a difference, I suspect. Yes it appears you cannot yet order one on line from Apple Ca. Here is the page:

and it says "coming soon".
I'd just cancel your current reservation and make one at the store of your choice. Likely you will get to stand in a line on release day.

No one here knows especially since the iPhone 4S was released less than 6 months ago and Apple has not announced an iPhone 5.
Planning ahead is one thing but you need to wait until Apple makes an announcement.

I have been trying to reserve an iPhone 5 for a week and a bit now and for the last 2 days my friend from uni has also been trying to, so I reserved two units, one for me and one for him. Today he informed me, after I had already reserved 2, that he no longer wanted one but this was also the day Apple got back to my saying they had reserved 2 units for collection tomorrow. Is it possible for me to just buy one unit rather than both?

Questions About Pre-Ordering/Reserving the iPhone 4?

I know on June 15th you can pre-order/reserving an iPhone 4. I am a bit unfamiliar with the pre-ordering process.
If you can pre-order and pick it up in the stores, does that only mean it guarantees you one on launch day? Also on launch date will there be a separate lines for pre-orders and non-preorders? (So pre-orders go in the store first?)
And if you reserve the iPhone 4 in store pick-up, do you have to pay the whole thing, or just put a certain amount down?
I doubt if anyone knows this question.
What time do Apple Stores open when the new iPhone 4 comes out? I bought my iPhone 3GS last year at launch at AT&T and they opened at around 7 I think, which I read is the same this year.

rather not deal with the crazies and people, id order online and get it shipped to my front door. check with your local Apple store for business hours. i remember att opening a little earlier on launch day for the 3GS, idk about Apple though? id asume both will run it alot smoother for everyone.

Question about reserving an Iphone on the Apple website.

My credit is bad so my fiance will be using her name and billing info to buy the phone and sign up for AT and T. When it asks for the current phone number and account number that will be transferred, I will be wanting to give my account number and phone number of course.
Has anyone done this? I tried calling Apple but they're closed down until Monday for some reason. Just want to make sure this works smoothly and I'd like to reserve the new iphone for the June 19th shipment ASAP.

I can't be sure, but when you reserve, there should be an option for those who aren't yet AT&T customers. Usually then Apple will set you up when you pick up the phone.

So I just "reserved" the new 3Gs, however I am a little puzzled by what exactly this term "reserved" means. I just received a confirmation email from apple thanking me for reserving it, however at the bottom in fine print it reads
"Pre-authorization does not guarantee iPhone availability at an Apple Retail Store. iPhone is sold on a first-come, first-served basis."
So as far as I can tell, reserving it doesn't do didly squat. Am I right here? Will there be a phone waiting for me on the nineteenth or not?

You go on line on Apple's web site and place a reservation for what you want. You can NOT exchange it. You will have to return the one you have and purchase the one you want.
