Retrieving User groups and email for all users in a group

Hi Everyone,
I need to create an ADF application to retrieve all the groups in OID, the user would select a group and it should list down all the email addresses in that group.
Can you suggest what is the best way to achieve this. My main concern is how to retrieve groups and email addresses from OID. I was unable to find APIs for it.
Your suggestions are greately appreciated.

In a multi-user environment, a user install a dreamweaver extension,but just the user who install the extension can use it.
Is there a way that administrator install the extension and make this extension available for other users in multi-user environment(e.g. the Windows 7)
Dreamweaver had this capability many releases ago, but it has been dropped, so it's no longer available.

Yes, I do have multiple devices and it appeared to me that every time I tried to sync or log onto iTunes, the password was incorrect. Consequently, I was and am constantly changing it. Wouldn't it be nice if Apple would simply say that you only need one Apple ID and one password regardless of the number of Apple devices you intend to sync via iTunes.
Barring the above, how about a way to merge all of the Apple IDs and passwords into one.

Set default Skin and Layout for all users

Im using UCM 10GR3 and i must set an default skin and layout for all users.
Into General Configurations Field > System Variables i set
LMDefaultSkin=MySkin
LMDefaultLayout=MyLayout
But this didnt work. Anybody have a clue?
My skin is working fine but i have to change via My Profile.

I'm pretty sure higher access superceedes, so you could set up a group with no actual access, just to get the preferences working, then their individual security will dictate what they can do. I haven't tested this fully, but I beleive this is how it will work. As far as setting the preferences, go into the admin console and right click on the group, then select Preferences. To apply the group preferences to a user, add the user to the group, then right click on the user, select preferences and from the upper left corner, use the drop down to select the active preference, in this case, it will be the group you created and added them to. HTH

Default Color, Size and Font for all user.

I have been looking around for the correct way to set some default styles for all Word users in a domain thrugh GPO. I just have some questions.
So far i can only get it working if it set a "Workgroup templates path" under "User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Microsoft Office 2013/Shared paths". Then the users are able to select it when they say "New" - "Shared"
and then the template
But i would like it to be default for all users, like in the Normal.dotm. But without making a script to replace the file for every users APPDATA.
Then i saw the "User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Microsoft Office 2013/Shared paths/Enterprise templates path", how and what does that do?

use GPP file extension to
distribute Normal.dotm to the path "C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates." for every user. For more detailed steps, please refer to the following link:

How to set up Windows with Reader and certificate for all users

Good afternoon (GMT),
we're dealing with a Win XP (SP3) system that is set up by an Administrator. One task is to set up the system in a way that all users (w/o admin rights) become able to read a certified-protected PDF. Currently we know a way to install the "public key" for this certificate only for one known user. But how to proceed when not all users are known? The users shall later on never be asked to confirm the certification installation/registration.
If it helps, here is the software version:
Acrobat 8.12 to encrypt the PDF via certification. In near future I will switch to Acrobat 9.x
Reader 7.x and/or 8.x on customer PCs.
Thank you for ideas and hints.
BTW: Next time we want to provide a solution for Win7 systems, too.

Users can see documents for all users on the computer?

when I log in to user A and do a search this Mac, it finds all documents even from other users that are supposed to be confidential! How can I change this so that searches only find documents on that user?

I have been naively thinking my confidential stuff was confidential. I don't think my staff have the wherewithal to figure that out and they are too busy and generally good people anyway.
One think I did notice when I was browing the Users from my employees computer: all other Users Documents folder had the RED dash on the folder. The only one missing the red dash was from mine which is the confidential User. I did set my documents folder to NO Access earlier today but no red dash appeared on that folder. Just checked it again after a restart. seems odd.

White screen displays sporadically during interactive content and not for all users

We have an unusual thing happening with some users (5% or less) experiencing a white screen/program lockup when interacting with the training. We think this is related to missing java script file(s), but we aren't 100% sure.
Training is occurring on a variety of different laptops and workstations across the country. All are suppose to be using the latest version of IE (and java). There is no commonality between hardware, users or where in the program the issue occurs.
Some people experience it in module 5 when they have to type data, and others may experience it in module 2 where they just have to click the continue button ( any module for any action - it truly is that random). What's more we can't reproduce the problem on machines that have the latest java files. We have looked over the physical layout of each slide but can find no commands or objects that would cause the problem.
Has anyone experienced this type of sporadic issue? Does anyone have a suggestion for how to fix it? -

Hi, within the version 7.0.1 I am able to install noscript extension for example for all users.
With version 8.0 the extensions are disabled by default, so I do not install it on company computers.
How can I manage extensions and settings for all users in 9.0?

We have an Australian client here in the Philippines and would want to purchase an adobe software under Creative Cloud Licensing.
Since this type of licensing is not yet available here in the Philippines, they are suggesting that they can purchase it in their country.
My main concern is, will there be any conflict upon installing/activating an adobe software under Creative Cloud which will be purchased from their country?

How can I deploy EFS using Group Policy and Active Directory with a goal to automatically encrypt computers for ALL users who login? (NOT an option for me to use BitLocker)
I was asked to deploy EFS to encrypt the user my documents folder and profile on all of the users laptops. The laptops are in common areas (board meeting rooms, etc) and security of files is a must.
I successfully created a recovery certificate in AD. I created an OU and setup an EFS policy and users can now login and select to encrypt their own files. The issue is that management would like to have automaticy Encrypt ALL users my documents AUTOMATICALLY
when a user login.
Can this be done?

Hi ,
You can create a single dynamic distribution group with the condition to have only the mailboxes in exchange as its members . Then when a person send an email to that Dynamic distribution group it will get distributed to all the mailboxes
in exchange.
Note : Most important feature in the dynamic group is that the membership of that group will be maintained automatically and also along with that we can have group membership by defining the recipient types/OU /rules.
I agree with ED and also based on my knowledge you cannot achieve your scenario without Distribution groups or dynamic distribution groups.

Have seen a couple threads regarding this but unfortunately nothing that solves my problem thus far!
Right now, our developers are using the Domain Admin account to promote their website code using MSI files. I'd like to change this as I feel the Domain Admin account should be on lock down and only used when absolutely necessary, pretty common. The
same goes for my account too, I would like to absolve as much use of the Domain Admin as I can.
Problem is, when they run installers from their own accounts, they receive this error: You do not have sufficient privileges
to complete this installation for all users of the machine. Log on as administrator and then retry this installation
The accounts they are using are part of the Built In Administrators group and the Domain Admins group... I'm not sure what other permission you'd need in a domain? We've gone as far as explicitly giving them local admin access on this server and still
nothing changes.
Is there a Group Policy or something that I can change to provide install rights and possibly remove these accounts as Domain Admin and more along the line of Power User?

Disable right click for all users in a certain group

I would like to disable the right click function for all users in a particular group, regardless of which computer is the domain they log in to. Is there any way to do this? Thanks.

1. Create a new group policy and link it to the OU with the users you want to be affected.
2. Edit the new policy - In the left pane navigate to:
User Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Windows Components \ Windows Explorer
3. Enable the setting Remove Windows Explorer's Default Context Menu.
