Return Delivery for 501 Mvt

Dear all,
I have created GRN with Mvt 501. When i try to do the return delivery for this GRN, system is not allowing.
When i check the 501 mvt in OMJJ transaction, return delivery is not displayed there.
Is this the standard system behaviour any setting is required to change.
Thanks & Regards,
R.Saravanan

I know it is cancellation...but if you do it you will find that the cancellation will happen with movement type 502 only by default...this is because you haven't bought the material wrt to a PO so return delivery isnot possible..try this in your testing server first and confirm the same.

  • Issue with Return Delivery for movement type 262

    Hi,
I have got a strange issue, the user is trying to do a MIGO Return Delivery for a material document using movement type 262, this he claims has been doing it for many materials. However when i go to the MKPF table i see the transaction Code field to be MIGO_GI for all the material documents for which he claims to have done return delivery. But under this transaction code we have only 4 options - Display, Issue, Cancel and Remove from storage.
Now when he tries to do the return delivery for movement type 262 he get an error message "Check table T156N: entry RL 262  does not exist" , but this has been very well maintained in the table.
Can you please let me know -
If it is possible to do a return delivery for a movement type 262?
If yes how to address the above error encountered.
    Thanks in advance
    Sachin

    Hi Sachin,
If you think of return delivery to vendor with or w/o PO reference you can use movement types 161, 122, 124 as default settings.
Movement type 261 means withdrawal against production order and its reverse is MVT 262. The latter can be used e.g. via MB1A (or you can make storno of a confirmation by 261).
Are you sure your user is using the correct terminology ('return delivery')? Please check the material documents he/she claims to have booked as return delivery. (in MB51 you can get a list of all material movements of MVT 261 that belong to 'your user' and after that you can open the material document and check through which transaction the booking was made.)

  • Creating Returns Delivery for RMA (Sales order)

    Hi Experts,
I have a buisness requirement to create a returns delivery for RMA entered.
I tried out the function modules RV_DELIVERY_CREATE,
                                                 GN_DELIVERY_CREATE
                                                 SHP_VL10_DELIVERY_CREATE
But i am not sure what are the exact parameters to be passed to this function modules
Please provide any sample code if available used for the same.

    Hi,
In GN_DELIVERY_CREATE, the messages are collected in tables XVBFS. The details have to be passed to XKOMLGN and VBSK_I.
To get the delivery number, you have to use function module NUMBER_GET_NEXT. Number range object is 'RV_SAMMG'.
    Hope it helps.

  • Vendor return delivery for excisable goods

    Hi,
I have few queries regarding vendor return delivery of excisable items.
    1) MIGO is done- Part 1 is done
        J1IEX_P- Part 2 is done.
       MIRO is done/not done.
    2) MIGO is done-Part 1 is done.
        J1IEX is not done.
        MIRO is not done.
    3) In case of return PO, when we do MIGO with 161,
should I select Create excise entry or No Excise Entry??
What will be correct vendor return delivery procedure??
I've searched forums, but I'm not able to get the proper solution for excisable items.
Can anybody tell me step by step procedures for above.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Piyush

    Hi
You need to select Create excise entry , as you have claimed the Credit for the materials , so you need to reverse that as you are not utilising the material in production of finished goods.

  • Return Delivery for In-House Repair Order

When I create an In-House Repair order in CRM and replicate it to ECC, the return delivery does contain the special stock indicator "E", hence the stock is posted to unrestricted.  This only happens with replicated orders.
    Any ideas?

    Hello Peter,
Regarding Posting of Goods Issue for Spare Parts in SAP R/3 Materials Management,
The data posted depends on the logistics scenario(s) that you use. The system therefore first determines the logistics scenario defined for the combination of transaction type, item category, service organization, and other relevant information required for the scenario (for example, movement type or special stock indicator in SAP R/3).
Availability information informs you whether the service parts are currently in stock. Each service part item generates a reservation in the back end system, which can be used to trigger an early procurement process.

  • CRM - Automatic Return Delivery for Customer Owened Repair sales order

    Hi Guys,
We are implementing Customer Owned Repair sales order Process in CRM and requirement is that once order gets replicated in ECC, automatic Return delivery should be created.
    We have following settings done,
    1. Order Type ZREP has automatic delivery creation set : A
    2. Item category has special stock indicator E and and Returns
    3. schedule line category IR has 653 Movement with special Stock E and availability is not flagged.
so in this configuration, when i create Order Manually, Return delivery gets created automatically even if there is Zeor stock (Schedule line confirms the Qty) but while Order gets replicated from CRM it does not because schedule line does not confirm the qty (Zero Qty).
Please advise on this asap as we are in verge of delivery and facing this issue.
    Regards,
    Dharmesh.

  • Return delivery for stock transport oder

    Hi
I need better clarity on the following Return delivery process for STO.
Step 1)Creation of intra company stock transport order with document type UB.
Step 2)Goods issue from the Supplying plant (Movement type 641)
Step 3)Goods receipt at the Receiving plant( Movement type 101-To quality inspection stock )
Step 4)Posting return delivery at Receiving plant. (Movement type 122)
On performing step 4) , the stock quantity and value are getting reduced at the Receiving plant, but the stock updating does not happen in the Supplying plant automatically. (i.e. Goods Receipts )
Do we need to perform any other movements ( Goods receipts ) in the supplying plant so that the Returned stock will be updated with the return delivered quantity ?
    Please clarify.
    Gobinathan G

    Hi
    Thanks for your feedback.
It worked well. On posting 122 , the stock was posted to "stock in Transit" of Receiving plant.
When I reversed the goods movement by VL09, the stock was posted back to stock of supplying plant. ( Movement type 642 posted )

  • Return Delivery for the Subcontractor components

    Hi All
We would like to receive the  subcontractor returned components using the dlievery functioanlity.
We are currently usiung the transfer posting using 542 movement type.
Please  advise on the process how it will be handled.
    Thanks
    Sudhakar

    hi sudhakar,
    1. You issue components via MVT 541 to your subcontractor (in MB1B with or w/o PO reference; ME2O). No accounting documnet will be created since the materials get to your own (special) stock.
    2. You receive the raw material (subcon-goods) made by your SC vendor via MVT 101 and you consume the before mentioned components via MVT 543. All these movements happen (generally) when you receive the goods in MIGO against your PO.
    3. Generally you have to maintain a BOM and SAP uses this BOM + order qty to calculate the amount of goods to be consumed. You can check this in ME23N on 'material' tab > 'components' icon. (you can change the components in ME22N clicking on this icon)
You can change this (when you create the PO, when you receive the raw material in MIGO, or you can use MB04 subsequent adjustment for this purpose. You have to set the qty of components according to the real consumption - the better you do this when you receive the subcontracting-goods in MIGO).

  • Difference between LIKP-VBTYP 'Returns' and 'Returns delivery for order'

Hi...I have tried researching this myself, but still can't seem to get a good answer.  In the LIKP table, there is a VBTYP of 'H' for returns and 'T' for returns on delivery order.  I am trying to understand the difference between the two...how could you have a return with it NOT being on a delivered order?  Is there something basic I am missing? Any and all help extremely apprecated.

    Hi,
I fully agree with the input given by Mr G Lakshmipathi.
VBTYP as field description implies, it just says about the SD document category , but applicable to all documents such as order(includes outling agreements, inquiry, quotation as well) , delivery , billing.
These values are inbuilt. wrt: document behaviour we use this doc category.
You can even observe, doc category: K & O -
K = Credit memo request  which applicables only in VA01
O = Credit memo  applicables only in VF01.
if you try to execute the table LIKP ( from SE16) with VBTYP=H, you will not get any doc's
    I hope it adds info.

I am unable to do Goods Return delivery for Confirmations which have status u201CPosted in the Backendu201D.
The Return delivery button is Disabled, while the Delete button is Enabled, when I access confirmations through u2018Display and Process Confirmationsu2019 screen.

Kindly let me know if any additional job needs to be executed or any specific note that needs to be implemented.

plz wait for some time . I am pretty sure STATUS JOB do this job . what variant you used for status_2 job?
if you could do it backend , but if you could not in srm means, that PO status was not updated.
even i had experience this in classic, i evening did GR inSRM and immediately wanted to do return delivery but that button was disabled for me. morning i saw it was ok . i saw RETURN was active.

  • Automatic Batch number for rETURN Delivery

When creating a return delivery, without reference, we need to manually input the batch number (assign dummy?).
Is it possible to have the system automatically generate the batch number for returns? If yes, how?

    Hi,
    No you can' not
even if you try to create Return delivery without refrance to any order then it will determine item category, but gives error that,
YOU CAN NOT ADD THIS ITEM IN DELIVERY
because it is controlled by delivery document category
the delivery document category is - T (Returns delivery for order)

  • Returns Delivery Movement type

    Hello all,
The scenario is intercompany returns. The stock should be moved in 2 steps from block to block. I am trying to use a different movement type in the returns delivery NCR instead of the std 161 mov type.
    1. can you suggest a mov type that could move the stock from blocked ( supply plant) to block ( returning plant) ? Closest I could get was 915, but could not prototype.
    2. How is the movement type determined from in returns delivery for a purchase order ( return STO) ?
    Thanks .

    Hi
Are you trying to do stock transfer or return delivery?
If both the plants belongs to your client use trasnfer posting facility for this.and look for mvt types 459 and 460.
Or if this is not what you want, please explain your query properly?
