Reuse Message Interface from others software component in BPM

Hi.
I have created new ccBPM scenario, in the first step always receiver step. so in this receiver i want to use message interface (IM) that already difined in others software component.
Why i can't see this MI from my Integration Process (IP) ? how to configure so i can see all the MI from others software component ?

Hi,
Have u added abstract interfaces in Object area(IP).If u specify in object area u can add those interfaces to step.
If u want to add other SWCV's interfaces u vave to configure usage dependency.

Hi,
In thise case your SC2 Software Component is dependent on SC1.
Go to the SLD, go to the software component SC2 and you will have an option Dependency and as shown in michal's blog make this SC2 dependent on SC1.
Next, reimport your Software Components SC1 and SC2 in your IR . The old objects will contnue to exists but still clear the SLD cache, and reimport the SC1 and SC2 from the SLD.
Now in SC2 you will see a new option called BASIS objects under which you can see the message interfaces of SC1.

Removing Message Interface From Business Service

I want to remove one message interface from the Business Service.But, am not able to do so from ID.

if you're talking about business service (not business system)
then just select the message interface and press the minus sign
that's all
if this is not possible you may not have sufficient authorization

Can not open JPEG files and can not create JPEG files from other software

Can not open JPEG files and can not create JPEG files from other software (For example from Solidworks).
When I try to right click on a JPEG, a notice window appears written: "Windows Explorer has stopped working - Windows is
checking for a solution to the problem" and then the notice box disapears, the desktop appears and I can continue working.
From the other side - If I try to save as JPEG a screen of Solidworks (like a view of a part) the Solidworks falls but the JPEG
is created (I can see its name in the directory I created it).
I can open the JPEGS with the Paint software if I want but not with the Windows Photo Viewer.
I have the feeling that the Windows Photo Viewer disapeared from my computer - just a feeling.
I will appreciate your assistance.

Did Windows Photo Viewer option appear when you right click the JPEG file and select open with?

Call another Message Interface from Java Mapping

Hi Gurus!!
I have designed a Java Mapping that does a Socket Connection. Before send the response of the Java Mapping, I have to send information to our SAP System.
I have see in a blog that I can call a RFC from the Java Mapping, but my doubt is, can I call another Message Interface designed on XI?

That's tricky, since the proper way of doing it would be through BPM.
Anyway, if you expose your XI interface as a WebService (Soap sender cc) you could access it through Mapping Lookup (lookup works for RFC, DB and Soap lookups). Check https://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/current/pi/index.html
But be aware that Mapping Lookup API is not intended for inserts/updates (since it doesn't contain any transacational handling), just mere lookups (selects in tables), so I'm not sure it is the best approach for your case.

How to transfer Message Interface from Repository to Directory

Hello,
I have created a Message Interface (with related Message Type, Data Type) and Interface Mapping from this interface to another in Integration Repository. Then I go to Integration Directory and trying to create Interface Determination. I can select proper Interface Mapping, but it doesn't show my Inbound Interface that I created for this Mapping (means in the popup hat I trigger in the Inbound Interface it shows no entries).
It seems like some data has not been transferred from Repository to Directory. What should I do to synchronize them?

Hi Maxim,
If you dont activate the inteface you will not see. Even if you activated if you dont see in ID then you need a cache refresh. You dont need to do cache refresh everytime, because it will be automatically do. Just in case if you dont see then you can refresh manually. Also only for business service you need to add manually. For business system you will pick it up from the list.

How to block Protection removal of a PDF document from other softwares?

I have created a PDF document with acrobat reader and watermarked the document and protected the document. But the problem is that it can easily be unprotected (decrypt). After that the document is decrypted, there is no protection symbol on the document and the watermark was removed. Is there any way to block other softwares from removing the protection?

While we are at it, you can not create a PDF with Reader. I assume you meant Acrobat that is a different product. For most folks the PDF security is adequate, but it is not that full proof and that is apparently your concern. About the only way around the problem is DRM as mentioned. Also, be sure to add the copyright statement as that is enough to discourage most folks.

Start / stop recording from other software?

I have a setup where three cameras are supposed to start/stop recording based on user interaction in another software. So, is it possible to trigger a recording to start and stop from another software? If so, how can this be done?

To be honest Im not sure but I dont think so.
If this is a securitycam setup one way to do it without having to have acces to "endles" storage space is to use one of the free services for webcasting like jtv, ustream, veetle, or livestream. I believe all of them have a privace option so you can enter a securitycode so only you can acces the videos. Its not optimal but it gets the job done. I believe some of them will erase videos after a while though if you dont highlight them for saving.

How to copy all namespaces from one software component version to another

i want to make a new software component version of the same procuct in the integration builder(DESIGN),
how can i do that,
i mean to say, after making it in SLD, and importing it into design, how can i copy all the name spaces present in the previous software component version into the new software component version

K remember while transporting only active objects can be transported and if the object you want to transport is not active then last active version will be transpoted.
While transporting design objects prerequisite the s/w comp version has to be same.

When I try to download EXE files from other software support sites Firefox cancels these requests.

When I try to download an EXE file from some software support or update sites (such as Norton) Firefox shows it being canceled in the download folder, or the folder shows a file name with zerokb instead of the file. Even if I opt to try to download the file to a folder other than the downloads file by changing the Firefox settings the same thing happens in the chosen folder.

There are more involved ways of solving this - involving turning down/off your Windows firewall settings, deactivating your virus scanner or changing the zone settings.
But the simplest way to solve this is to just fire up Chrome or a similar 'lite' browser and download the file you want through it.
Only do this if you absolutely trust the site you're dealing with and remember to scan the heck out of the .exe file once you get it.
If you still can't download it you must have really tight security settings and you'll just have to deal with adjusting those.

How to use objects from other SWCs in my BPM Integration Scenario

Dear all,
I am experiencing some difficulties with the following. I have created a BPM Integration Scenario in a SWC. It contains a tranformation step in which a message from that SWC is split and mapped to two IDOCs. These IDOCs are imported in anothern SWC which I use for common objects. I have created Abstract Message Interfaces based on these IDOCs in this "COMMON" SWC, but the probIem is that I cannot use them in my scenario in the other SWC. Even though I have a usage dependency (Installation Time) created to the "COMMON" SWC.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!

I have tried to create the Abstract Message Interface in the SWC and reference it to the IDOC structure in the "COMMON" SWC. This results in a reference to an invalid object during activation. Even though the defined usage dependency.
What's the standard solution?

Unable to view Abstract Message Interface(Sync) in Container Step of BPM

This is IDOC---SOAP Sync Communication Interface
I have created the External Def by exporting & importing the Standard Idoc
and Imported the WSDL File which has the Request & response Structure
I have created the Outbound Sync message Interface for Idoc side
and Abstract Sync message Interface for the same to use in BPM
and also created Inbound Sync Message Interface for Webservice side
and Abstract Sync Message Interface for the same to use in BPM
Problem is::::
While creating the Container varible inside the Integration Process, i have to select the Abstract Message Interface which i created for Idoc.
But it is not at all visible in the list.
What might be the problem

1) Create O/b Sync by having request of Idoc and response structure of Idoc
2) Create ABS Sync by having the request of Idoc and response structure of Idoc
3) Create ABS Async by having the Request of Idoc Only
For Webservice side
1) Create I/b Sync by having the request of webservice and response of that
2) Create ABS Sync by having the request of webservice and response of that
3) Create ABS Async by having the Response of Webservice only
