Thanks in Advanced
Travis

Hi,
the CCMS T code:SRZL.
CCMS should be regularly used and maintained by the system administrators both of keeping a smooth operation and making the most out of the available sources.
if you cinfigure the CCMS.first do these ones.
1.configure the instances and operetional modes.(RZ04)
2.alert thresholds
3.configure and submit the performance collectors.
4.configure logon groups.
USES for CCMS:
1.online alert monitoring.
2.performance problem analysys.
3.importing and maintaining the SAP system profiles.
CCMS Monitoring
CCMS Monitoring
Monitoring via CCMS
Please reward points if it helps

  • RFC destination TMW

I am configuring Solution Manager 7.0, When I am trying to generate the RFC connections it gives me the following errors.
1.RFC destination SM_SMDCLNT001_READ creation error. RFC destination many have errors.
    2.RFC destination SM_SMDCLNT001_READ generation error
3.RFC destination SM_SMDCLNT001_TMW creation error. RFC destination may have errors
    4.RFC destination SM_destination SM_SMDCLNT001_TMW generation error
5.No RFC destination assigned for read access for client 001.
But Read, back, trusted, login connections when tested for connection are playing good. How do I fix the above issues.
Is it something related to the Scheduling of Background jobs which we do during the configuration?
    Thank you Druva

    Hi ,
This error is purly due to user access. when you are trying to create these RFCs, Solman will connect to that satellite system logon screen where you have to enter your username and password. RFC users will be created by the user which you are entering in the logon screen.
Use the appropriate user in the satellite system and also check the authorization.
If you are using CUA then i would suggest you to create the RFC users in the satellite and in solman use the option Exsisting user and password  while creating RFCs.
    Feel free to revert back

  • CUA error: No auth iDoc msg type USERCLONE

    Hi,
I've set up CUA with SolMan as central system and XI as child.
After creating a user in SolMan i get the status "distribution unconfirmed" for XI in SCUL. The iDoc is green in BD87, however in SM58 i receive the error "No authorization to send IDocs with message type USERCLONE". Nothing changes when I try manual distribution. My error searching basically leads me to http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/18/89ef3bc8821d0de10000000a114084/content.htm, however the communication user that is used in the rfc SolMan->XI and XI->SolMan us setup according to those instructions.
    Furthermore:
    - Username and pass are the same in both systems
    - RFC connection tests works in both systems
Another thing that has happened is that when I create new roles in PFCG, they don't show up in the roles list in SU01.
    Anyone have any ideas?

Update: Issue resolved. Im using trusted systems with current user from SolMan to XI. I had however forgot to add the sapcuaclient role to my current in XI

  • RFC problem in solman 7.0 ehp 1

    Dear
i am facing a problem when i crate trusted RFC trought SMSY.
error is " Error Creatinf RFC destination SM_SOMCLNT500_BACK" IN SYSTEM TEST.
BUT I HAVE GIVEN ALREADY "S_RFC & S_RFCACL" OBJECT IN BOTH SIDE SOURCE AND TARGET SYSTEM.
    REGARDS
    ANIL KUMAR

According with page 67 of Security Guide for Solman 7.0 EHP1
    6.2.2 Authorization Object S_RFCACL
The trusting RFC destination has the Current User setting in transaction SM59. Authorization errors in the use of an RFC destination flagged as a Trusted System cause the following message to be sent: No Authorization to logon as Trusted System (Trusted RC = #).
    => Prerequisites
To apply the authorization object, you need full access to transaction PFCG, in the SAP Solution Manager system and the managed systems.
    => Features
To create the trusted RFC connection you need to have the authorization object S_RFCACL in the Solution Manager and in the managed system for this user. The role SAP_S_RFCACL contains the authorization object S_RFCACL, which consists of a number of authorization fields, which allow a trusting trusted relationship between SAP Solution Manager and any managed system. Due to the high potential risk of such an RFC connection, the authorization object S_RFCACL is not in authorization profile SAP_ALL.
You said that you already gave S_RFC and S_RFCACL, but you customized a new role ? or are you using SAP_S_RFCACL ?

  • Extract data from SolMan to MS Access with VB RFC

I am trying to create a database that allows me to extract data from SolMan directly from MS Access.  The command I want to run is ZSPROJECT_GET_SOLAR_STATUS (I think this will do what I want it to).  I am doing this in VB within Access and need to extract the data into a table for use with reports I have created.  Currently I do this manually by running a solar_eval transaction and export to Excel, then import into Access.  I would like this to be automatic as the users will not know how to do the manual extract.
    Can anybody help me out?
    Scott

I am an intern at the project with no SolMan or SAP training.  We have a similar application that is web-based that was developed by someone using XML and a SOAP RFC, but since my application is in MS Access, I was hoping to do it through VB.
I don't know what version of SolMan it is, does 4.0 sound right?
I guess that I need to talk to someone from SAP on this project if I can find them to get this setup?  I don't know if this is a generic transaction or not, but the one I use currently to extract the data is
    solar_eval
so I'd like to automatically run this and extract the data using Access to put it into my table; rather than logging into the GUI, running the transaction, choosing the variant and layout, export to Excel, and then finally go into the database to import the data and run my reports.
Any thoughts on how I could do this besides what I'm trying to do which seems like it may be difficult?

  • Any standard RFC there to communicate between satellite system and Solman?

    Hi Gurus,
Any standard RFC there to communicate between satellite system and Solman?
                   Thanks in advance.
    Regs,
    BBR.

following four RFCs are created so as to initiate the communication between the satellite system and the solman system
    _READ, _TRUSTED, _BACK, _TMW
but, you have to Read the Links and the Notes too to understand their names and their meaning

  • Trusted RFC: "jumping to PRD system from DEV via SOLMAN"

    Hallo!
I have the following question regarding the Trusted RFC generally in SOLMAN area and better especially within ChaRM.
We have SOLMAN and 3 satellite systems DEV, QAS and PRD.
When we generate Trusted RFC connections from SOLMAN to these satellite systems, we become scared about the following scenario:
A user accesses to DEV system and goes via Trusted RFC to SOLMAN.
From SOLMAN he chooses the Trusted RFC to PRD system and goes into PRD system.
    The question:
How can this identification gap/problem be solved?
    Thank you very much indeed!
    H. Thomasson

    Hi Thomasson,
You can restrict the access of your solman system from your DEV system.
Disable the trusted relationship in the RFC that points to Solman from Dev system.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Kiran.

"There is no RFC destination for BI sytem DSM client 001

    Dear Kamal Bhargava,
did you enter the Trusted RFC in the SMSY? SolMan is looking here to find the trsued RFC, it is not sufficient to create a trusted RFC it in SM59.

    Hello Gopal,
There is an RFC created from your SolMan system back to the satellite system(PRD system here. The RFC is SM_SOLCLNT900_BACK. Please go to SM59 and see if this RFC is working fine. I feel the user id and password maintained for this RFC is wrong. This user should be valid in the PRD system.

  • SRM calls solman rfc for any transaction

    Hi,
When I execute any tcode in SAP SRM or want to check any settings through SPRO it is directing me to Solman RFC and asks for user / password.
How can I check where this settings are maintained?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Yogesh Cheulkar

    Hi Juan,
Even I am surprised why this RFC is being called for simple transaction.
After entering  user and password for rfc logon screen I am able to continue with transacaction.
But even if I skip this step of user and password without entering password it is allowing.
Only problem is it is continuously asking for each steps.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • SOLMAN EHP1 - anyone can create support message in Satellite System's Help?

    Hi,
I just curios that why everyone can create support message in satellite system-> help -> create support message?
I tested with restricted profile user and without role SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE, NO BP created but he still manage to create support message???? Any idea??
Also, same goes to any user can process ticket in SOLMAN with no BP-Employee role and SAP_SUPPDESK_* roles assigned.
Your kind input is very much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Nicholas Chang

    Hi Nicholas
If you are using a "Named" user instead of the Trusted Relationship in the RFC maintained in BCOS_CUST for entry OSS_MSG then this is quite possible. In this case the "Named" user will be used to call the interface to create message and the calling user ie the end user creating the ticket will only be used as "Reporter" of the message.
The user entered in the RFC details probably has the authorization to create Support desk messages.
    Regards
    Amit
