RFC trouble with satellite systems

Hi all.
When i imort transport request from Charm - DEV to QAS system or QAS to PRD system
Logon screen appers to 000 clientst.
BUT!
in SMSY when i check RFC to the QAS 000 and PRD 000.
Check says all okey and green.
Any ideas?? where should i check more ....
Thanks
Sindry

Hi  Sindry,
To allow import into a system using an automatic job via ChaRM you must assign additional authorisations to TMSADM on the satellite system.  This trusted user must be granted authorisations to carry out the CTS import in client 000, otherwise it will prompt user for a 000 login.  This is not recommended for Production system however.
To enable user to use the trusted RFC connection, must have access to S_RFCACL authorisation object.
Hope this helps
Paul

  • Trouble with booting system after upgrade udev= systemd

    Hi everybody,
I have been trouble with my system since last upgrade (udev => systemd)
My issue is something like this: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1106157 but advice from this discussion doesn't work.
When system booting, *immediately* (very fast, too fast) display login screen after start parsing hook [udev]
Of course, i can't login - type username and i have redraw screen again on all /dev/tty* - i have no chance to type password.
Many invalid logins suspend init for 5 minutes and allow me see display error due stop redraw screen - libpam.so.0 cannot find.
I suspect that, partitions aren't mount (this fast login screen doesn't have even hostname). I have a 4 discs, with many partitions - mounting
this take a some time (+- 5 secs).
In rescuecd, i can mount all partitions and chroot. In chroot all works fine - /bin/login (i was checked authorization on all users),
paths and pams are ok. Of course i try ,,default rescue trick'': `pacman -Suy linux udev mkinitcpio` and 'mkinitcpio -p linux' on rescuecd
but nothing it's changed after reboot. I checking grub config, and unpack and check initramfs-linux.img - all ok.
In my mkinitcpio.conf ofcourse i have MODULES="ext3" (for my filesystems).
    Please help.

This may or may not be related... but I saw this message just now during an upgrade:
    (121/168) upgrading mkinitcpio [###################] 100%
==> If your /usr is on a separate partition, you must add the "usr" hook
to /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and regenerate your images before rebooting
And am wondering what the message means by if /usr is on a separate partition - separate partition to what?  /boot? / ?
I have my /usr partition in the same partition as /  (but /boot is in a different partition)
Logic tells me I'm safe (haven't rebooted yet), as / is "master", and anything else is a separate partition, and I have /usr on the same partition as /.
Do you guys have separate /usr and/or /boot partitions?  As stated in first sentence this may not be related, but looks important...
It means separate from /. So yes, you're right, you are "safe" from having to do anything with this message on your system.
And to the other people on this thread: make sure you do have all your packages uniformly updated, including any pam-related AUR or ABS-build packages. libpam and the pam module directory (.../lib/security) were moved from /lib to /usr/lib a little while back, so make sure that anything that cares about where these may be have been updated so they aren't confused by this move.

  • CSOL Cross System Object Lock - RFC error in satellite system

    Hi
We are currently implementing Solution Manager 7.1 (ChaRM) and of the mandatory requirements is to activate Cross System Object Lock.
I have globally activated this in Solman and have gone into /TMWFLOW/CMSCONF to activate for our development client. This is now activated.
A transport has now been created in ChaRM and I login to the above mentioned development system and make a customizing change. I then choose the transport and save change. I am presented with an error:
"Error in RFC SM_DSMCLNT001_BACK to Solution Manager System" (Message No. STMWFLOW025)
I have now been looking at this for a few hours and found OSS Note 824521. However, I have already done all this. From a RFC perspective we have:
    SOLMAN:
SM_DSMCLNT001_BACK - works fine in SM59. The assigned user has all the correct profiles.
In transaction SDCCN, the above RFC appears also.
In transaction SM30, table BCOS_CUST, "CHARM_DEST" and "OSS_MSG" are both set to destination NONE.
    SATELLITE SYSTEM:
In transaction SDCCN, the above mentioned RFC exists
In transaction SM30, table BCOS_CUST, "CHARM_DEST" and "OSS_MSG" are both set to the above mentioned RFC
The user SMB_DSM for the RFC only exists in Solman and not in satellite system. Don't think this is needed though.
As soon as I deactivate CSOL in /TMWFLOW/CMSCONF in Solman (for development client), I can make changes and the above error (in red) does not appear. However, we needed CSOL working and this error not to appear.
    Any suggestions???
    Thanks
    Shaun

Ok, the resolution was to ensure SMB_X82 (in Solman) has the following roles and profiles:
    Roles
    SAP_SOLMANTMWCOL
    Z_SOLMAN_BACK
    Profiles
    D_SOLMAN_RFC
    S_BDLSM_READ
    S_CSMREG
    S_CUS_CMP
    S_SD_CREATE
    S_TMW_ADMIN
    This resolved my issue.
    Thanks

  • Trouble with Satellite A205-SP5814

I'm having some trouble with my laptop, it's a Satellite SP-5814, and it freezes sometimes. I installed the factory software from the CD's, and the problem didn't solved at all. Sometimes even can't load de OS, or crashes trying. I'll appreciate any answer or solution to this problem, because the Toshiba Certified Technical Support from my country (Costa Rica) couldn't solve the problem (they installed the factory software). I don't know why my computer doesn't appear on the supported one's list, because I can't even update the BIOS.

By installing factory software, do you mean that they did a complete recovery to factory settings, erasing your data rfom the computer and returning it to out-of-box conditions? If so, and if you're encountering problems immediately after doing so, I'd recommend getting the notebook serviced.

  • Trouble with Satellite P205D-S7454

I am having trouble installing a OS or the recovery discs on Satellite P205D-S7454.  When I am installing the OS it hangs 10 or 15 mins into the installation of any OS (Windows 7, Vista, Ubuntu Linux). I have removed the battery and tried installing while plugged in, no luck.  I have also tried different memory modules, no luck.  I have tried a different HDD, no luck.  I have updated the BIOS to version 1.70 and had no luck installing an OS. I have also ran the laptop through memory and CPU test and the system come back good.  Any ideas on what could be the problem with the laptop?  I am thinking right it has to do with something on the system board. Thanks.

I have the same exact problem, does anyone out there have any idea on how to resolve this problem?

  • RFC User for satellite systems

    Hello Gurus,
I just wanted to ask about one issue. We are a SAP partner and using Solution Manager in VARs scenario. There are many systems of our customers connected to our Solution Manager..
Now I want to ask about RFC user(s). As I see, in our Solution Manager there are many users(communications type C) with Synthax SOLMAN<system id> or something like that. It means basically, that we have for every particular customerS system one SOLMAN user for RFC(cust_scout) in our Solution Manager. My question is if we can replace all of these users with only one RFC user for all the systems and customers?
Many thanks in advance for your help

    Hi Miloslav,
Technically, it will work that you define one common RFC user in your SolMan for communication (RFC BACK destination) from all connected managed systems.
BUT, I would never recommend it.
Once a managed system cause issues in your SolMan, you are not able (or at least it's much more difficult) to identify the managed system. Same happens, if a invalid password in the BACK destination leads to a locked user.
My recommendation: Spend the extra effort in creating a user per managed system. Operation will be much easier later.

    Hi,
We are using SOLMAN with SCM functionality. We have integrated it r/3 and now integrating with XI.I have created the logical componenet for the system and added to the maintenance project. But when i enable the project for change request management it gives a warning and when checked in SLG1 it shows error message as no consolidation system for XS1(Developement sys) and no export system for XP1(production sys). All the configurations to be done in the TMS are done as per the instruction in the configuration guide and R/3 is configured in the same way which is working fine. Please give your comments on this.

  • Speaker trouble with Satellite L750

    Hello!
I've been having some issues with my internal speakers on my Toshiba L750 Satellite laptop. I just got the laptop a couple months ago and so far, everything seems to be ok.... except for the speakers.
So if I leave the laptop and put it on "sleep" or "hibernate", when I come back to turn the laptop on, the sound from the speakers gets all fuzzy and starts to lag.... I end up having to restart the laptop just to get the speakers back to normal.
It doesn't matter how long I leave the laptop dormant for - it could be 6 hours or 1/2 an hour - virtually every single time, I end up having to restart the laptop to fix the problem.
It's not that I have some big issue with restarting - I mean, if that's the way to fix it, that's totally fine! It just gets kind of annoying after a while and I don't want there to be some big underlying problem that could lead to other parts of the laptop getting messed up, that I'm just ignoring.
By no means am I a computer expert, but everything I checked in the control panel and in the speakers info suggests that the speakers are working fine.
I don't get why this happens almost every time. In regards to the sound being fuzzy and lagging, it's either the sound of the songs I listen to on WMP, or anything I'm watching online, or sometimes even both.
Anybody have any ideas or suggestions on what the problem could be and what I could do?
Any help would be much appreciated.
    ? Thanks!!

Hi Pedro and MisterX! Thanks so much for your responses.
Pedro: Yes, I'm using the original OS in my laptop. I wasn't sure if this was a common problem or not, so if you suggest that I contact Toshiba, then that seems like the best thing to do.
MisterX: Thanks for that link, it was very helpful! That does seem to be my issue... "stuttering" is probably the best way to describe the sound problems. It seems like this could help. If I download this, do you know if it would cause any kind of huge change to my hard drive, or will it just be like a regular download? All that red writing about "downloading at your own risk" in that link you gave kinda threw me off guard haha.
I will take both of your recommendations into consideration - I'll look more into the iRST, call Toshiba and see what they say, and I'll ask them about this iRST update. If/when my problem gets resolved, I'll come back and post the solution on the board, just in case other people may have this problem in the future.
Thanks to both of you again!! I appreciate your help ?

  • Trouble with SAP system installation GUI

    Hello all,
I've installed SLES10 SP2 X86_64 without any problem. During the installation I marked "SAP desired" option to get SAPINIT package installed.
After initial settings of environment variables and all the stuff, I ran the SAP installation via ./sapinst command (as root). The system displayed proper notice:
guiengine: No GUI server connected; waiting for a connection on host server, port 21200 to continue with the installation
but instead of displaying of SAPGUIInstallation on my local PC nothing happend. I use Putty with X11 forwarding option and Xming. Normally this works fine, but not now. I tried the XCLOCK - this works ok.
So I ran the ./sapinst in X11 directly on the server in ptty7. The SAPGUIInstallation came up. So I shut it down and kept trying to start the installation remotely. After 2hours I came back to X11 to check the SAPGUIInstalltion is still working .. and guess what - even there the GUI haven't been starting since.
Do you have any idea, what should be wrong or where should I look ?
Thank you in advance for ANY hint.
    Rgds
    Tomas

    Hello Hannes,
here are answers for you points:
    - java-1_4_2-ibm-1.4.2_sr11
    - sapinst (of SAP SolMan) from SAP Package official delivery (with SAP NetWeaver04S SP3)
There is one more note to be mentioned:
the true is, that when I try to run ./startInstGui.sh (from the same directory as sapinst binary - it comes togethere on Installation Master DVD) .. I get following error:
Java Runtime found in SAPINST_JRE_HOME environment variable
    Path: /usr/lib64/jvm/jre/bin/java
    Start mode: gui (GUI only)
    Connection parameters:

So if the "startInstGui.sh" is run on the background after the GUIserver initialization (previous post), it also probably dumps. I just can not find the log about that.
I guess I should solve this exception first .. only thing is I dont know how
    Any ideas ?
    Thank you !

  • Overall Trouble With Satellite C55 B5299

    Hi Guys.....
My wife has a Sat, Laptop C55 B5299. We have had constant trouble. Now I understand that she only has 2 gb
of RAM...(which, if you figure the video card takes 1/2 gig....only 1 1/2 gb)....Could this be the only reason why there is so much trouble? Thanks, in advance. Carl

While 2GB RAM is low for modern standards, it shouldn't be a major problem for regular use. Windows is very efficient at managing its memory. The impact of graphics use of memory varies based on how much you have and what you use it for. That number is just the maximum and isn't reserved (not on newer machines). I'd check what software you have running. For instance, I used to use AVG Antivirus on all of my computers. As it turns out, AVG is VERY resource intensive, so I switched to Avast instead. Try doing a bit of research. Open the Task Manager and go to the "Details" tab to see specifically what's using CPU or memory and look up any questionable applications.

I've run computer virus scans, and diagnostic programs and the only thing that comes up is that the intel 82852/82855 gm/gme graphics controller is not working properly. I've updated it in device manager and it says it is up to date. Don't even know if this is the problem. The only code it gives is a code 10. Any help would be appreciated

  • Satellite system connection to Solman

    Hello, SolMan experts!
I have a difficulty with satellite system connection to Solman 7.1. SP08.
The RFC works well, I made an entry in BCOS_CUST table and therefore the tickets from satellite ERP go to our Solman Service Desk.
The only problem is all the system data in such a message is missing because of lack of/incorrect system configuration in solman_setup --> managed systems and installed base (via ib_gen). I can not find a guide that I could easily follow (I have no BASIS knowledge, but I am requested to configure this connection and I have no BASIS expert in a Team).
I guess the configuration might not be that difficult. If you can think of any steps necessary, please share. I will be very grateful.
