RFC user not able to log-in to remote system

Dear All,
We are facing an issue when sending data from BI 7.0 system to Windows NT server. It was working fine in BW 3.5 version.
The issue is because the password for RFC connection which we have created is being encrypted in BI 7.0 version. In old BW 3.5 version SM59 --> Logical RFC Conne --> Log on and security, we had checkbox for Unencrypted password.
This checkbox is no more visible in BI 7.0 version and password are encrypted mandatorily.
I want to decrypt this password and send to remote system. Does anyone have any idea how to achive this.

I am not sure whether this solves your issue or not.But try setting login/password_downwards_compatibility parameter to 1

Users Not able to log in

I know that this has been beaten to a pulp, but having issues myself and have not been able to find an answer.
Hard drive failure in my server, so re-installed and updated everything to 10.7.5 without any issues, 1000+ users recreated. Sharepoints setup and thought that I would be good to go. Users go to log in and get the "You are not able to log in at this time" error.
So I would think that it was my sharepoint and permissions, because if I create a user and map his home directory to the default location, I have no issues. What I don't understand, if I log into the computer as the local admin, connect to my server and use a users login, I am able to connect to their home folder without any issue.
This one has me baffled, as I am sure that the permissions are correct on the share, just not sure why it will not map. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just as a side not and not sure if this is the issue or not. The SSD is where the main OS is, and I have three 2TB drives in Raid for storage of my "Users" home folders. Now, I have bad battery and one on order, could this be the cause of my issues.

User not able to Log in

In Entrprise Portal if an End user is not able to log in with his user id or his login is failed , then as a Portal Administrator what we need to check or can anybody tell me where the problem might be .

Hi Jain,
As they said above, first check the user ID in UME. If the user exists, check if it is locked.
To unlock the user , select the user and click on unlock tab. a message "object unlocked successfully" will display.
To reset the password for the particular user,
1) goto user administration --> identity management --> search for the user ID --> click on the Id which is displayed below.
2) click on modify tab
3) select define initial password button and type password in define password & confirm password fields
4) save the changes

Users not able to log in to workspace

No user is able to log in except admin..
I have tried using my own id which has all admin provisions but fails to log in.
error- You must supply a valid User Name and Password to log onto the system.
external auth'n -> LDAP
when i try creating an id in the native dir and then try to log it works fine..
I can log into planning. EAS, EIS with the same id which fails to log into workspace
what should I test or do to clear this issue?

Multiple Authentication for BOE/ users not able to log in

I have enabled both Windows AD, and SAP authentication.
I can see that the users are imported.
But these users are not able to login to BOE.
please let me know what could be the problem

You cannot logon with both SAP and AD at the same time, which are you trying AD or SAP? Have you tried client tools (CCM, deski, designer) Do you get a message there?
If using SAP make sure to enter the user in systemclient/username like t25800/username when logging into client tools.

Not able to log on to the system

I have just added an systen to central monitoring in SOLMAN, but am not able able to log on to the monitored system on double clicking in rz20.
RFC's are working fine, alerst are being generated, CCMS agent is working, everything else also seems to be fine.
Please suggest.

10.7.5 users not able to log on until numerous restarts of client machine.

Different model computers involved. Separate 10.6.8 WGM and Data servers. Half a dozen 10.7.5 machines will not allow user to log in when they first arrive for the day. Users will restart the machines 3 or 4 times and then can usually get in. Machines are cabled ethernet. This happens daily. Thoughts?

I have a simular set up. 10.6.8 server and 10.7.5 clients. 10.7.4 was fine. As soon as I updated to 10.7.4, we have multiple crashes at random time all over the place. Its been a pretty horrible week. I tried the suplimental update and it did not help. I am going to try and get back to 10.7.4 ASAP.

Not able to log in Portal

Dear Gurus,
We are not able to log in the portal since morning. it does not respond to the log in when i go to irj/portal .. administrator user as well as other users not able to log in portal. It doesn't throw any error message just it stands there. tried to restart the EP also but no luck.

Check the log files what error its showing.

Newly created users are not able to log in through WEBGUI in SRM system

I have created new roles in the SRM system with the BP tanscation codes Like( BBPSC01
BBPSC02
BBPSC03
BBPSC04)
after that I have created new users and I have assigned these roles to users. Users are able to login throgh SAP GUI but Users are not able to log in WEB GUI.. Once they providing user id and password in web gui. they are facing issue.
For web login do we need to maintain any special settings in SRM system?
Please suggest me.

Not able to log-on workspace/shared services after new inst thru index.jsp

Dear Specialist Team,
I m Kalyan, new to HFM product installation. I have completed successful EPM installation with the help of user guides from Oracle.
Installed on my local machine, able to work on Planning / Essbase Admin server, but not able to log-on to workspace and shared services on the local host link.
Checked many things like Services running properly, Diagnostics report. All are positive. Using IIS 7.
I m able to see this link "*http://localhost:9000/workspace*/", when I click on the Launch Application a blank window gets opened on Popup and nothing is visible it says loading for long time on this link "*localhost:9000/workspace/index.jsp*".
Tried using different browsers, but unlucky. Is there anything I m missing with java or browser or something else?
Please help me to sort this, so that I can log-on and proceed with application usage.

John's support document related to the browser settings is the best, however if you do not have access to support document or are using Firefox you can try installing an add on found at -->
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/remote-xul-manager/
and restart Firefox...
Once the browser is restarted..you can find the add on at Firefox --> Web Developer --> Remote XUL Manager
Add the URL, that you are using to access workspace and try to load it. If everything is good, you should be able to see workspace/shared service page.

We have SAP PI 7.0 installed in our landscape. Clients 110 and 100 are created. User ABCD is created in 110 with all (SAP_XI, SAP_SLD, SAP_BC_AI* and SAP_NEW, SAP_ALL) privileges.
I am able to log into 110 with user ABCD. But, I am not able to log into IR, ID, SLD and RWB. I think PI 7.0 by default will be installed on client 001 and later we need to do some settings to make it point to client 110.
Can you please provide me some notes/blogs/links to solve this issue? Thanks in Advance.

1) i can log with my secondary user account.
2) i can change setting using my "usual" administrator password...

That link recommends that you delete the troubled account and recreate it, then restore your files from a backup. If you don't have a backup, then your files are lost.
I'll see if I can get some more knowledgeable people here to help, but you may be out of luck.

When i try to log in portal(irj or nwa), the application always redirect-me to log in screen again. So, i try to log in with another user, the message "The user was has authenticated with another user.".
I verified and the MYSAPSSO2 cookie was not created. I think because of this i not able to login in Portal.
When i run a service through SICF, it open correctly in Internet Explorer and the MYSAPSSO2 cookie is created. If i try to open the Portal in another TAB, it open correctly.
Why the MYSAPSSO2 cookie is not created when i log in from portal.
Recently we changed the SSO Ticket Log in configuration. But we returned to default configuration and we are not able to log in Portal.
How to fix it?
