RFEBKA00: search IBAN in note to payee field
Hello Guys,
When I import the bank statement with the transaction FF_5, I am receiving from the bank a not structured text stored into the note to payee field FEBRE-VWEZW. The IBAN and reference number are stored into this field.
Do you know if an SAP tool (FM, algorithm, program...) could read this field interpret it and extract the IBAN number? Same question for the reference number?
Example:
Field content =>" EF/6334551 //CNTP/BE62310024276661"
Result after interpretation=> IBAN="BE62310024276661" ; Reference N°="6334551".

Hi,
You can use the user exit FEB00001 in transaction SMOD. So in program ZXF01U01 (Function Module EXIT_RFEBBU10_001), you can make the changes to interpretate the note to payee field to get the relevant IBAN and reference number.
You can take the help of your ABAPer to do the coding in this user exit.

It means that you can pay as many invoices as you want but only for four invoices (max) a ayment document will get generated. So if vendor have 10 invoices, then he will get three payments, first for 4 invoices, second for 4 invoices and third for 2 invoices.

Content Search Webpart is not displaying certain fields from my results
I am rolling up some list data from a subsite to its parent site. The list includes the Title and Health fields. The Health field is an image column. When typing in "Health" into the second line to display for the webpart, it doesnt show anything
when I save and refresh. The Title field works, however. Another field "Created" also works but I don't need to display that column in the webpart.

EBS is loaded into SAP and when it is processed, the open item gets cleared automatically and a clearing document is being generated.
Client requires that the NOTE TO PAYEE info to be captured in the TEXT field of the clearing document.
Is there any standard functionality or customized user exit is required?

A note to payee is a field on a data medium containing information on paid line items relevant for the business partner.
Number and length of the note to payee fields are defined in the payment medium format, whilst the content itself is defined in the note to payee.
SAP provides predefined notes to payee that you can adapt for your own formats. Notes to payee are structured according to the following methods:

Financial Accounting > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business Transactions > Outgoing Payments > Automatic Outgoing Payments > Payment Media > Make Settings for Payment Medium Formats from Payment Medium Workbench > Adjust Note to Payee
The note to payee consists of a maximum of 6 different line types:
1. Main note to payee for description of the payment, for example with the payment of invoices in the lines there is the invoice number, the invoice date, and/or the invoice amount.
2. Internal short reference for your company for identification of the transaction in case of failed payment. This could be the number of the payment document, for example.
3. External short reference for your business partner, a contract/customer number, for example.
4. Payment advice note that replaces the lines of type 1 where there is not sufficient space available.
How it is integrated?
The note to payee is independent of format, a separate entity that exists alongside the formats. You can assign the note to payee to a format via the payment method and the origin. You can assign a note to payee to several formats, thus minimizing the effort involved.

I dont think that a field can be disabled and allows to choose data using f4 simultaneously. you can enable the field and allow the user to select whatever he/she wants.
Then in any action like on press of save or submit button which the user will trigger after entering the values, get the value entered by the user in that perticular field and fire a query on the table/view, which you have used as selection method of your search help, it help is coming from data element then look for check table in domain. if sy-subrc comes 0 than go ahead else give error that value selected is modified.

I want that this field only can be modified using a search help and this field can't be modified directly writing in this field.

You have not mentioned, which interpretation algorithm you are using. Nevertheless, please review the following information:
Interpretation algorithm 001 tries to find an open item via document number (BELNR) or reference number (XBLNR). If it doesn't find an open item the system tries to clear via amount. It uses the information stored on the note to payee, the search string is used to manipulate this information. Please check, if in your case the algorithm 001 found an open item via XBLNR, and it is
choosing the wrong document.
All information from the note to payee is inserted in table FEBRE. If the string required is there, your mapping must include it to remove it. If you don't want to change your search string, it is recommended using algorithm 020. It only searches for document number (BELNR).
Further, the algorithm 015 (ZUONR) works only if the number is available in the FEBEP-CHECT field or in the first line of note to payee.

what kind of search help is associated with the field.
ADD_SELECTION_FIELD method has some specific parametrs for value_help
give the input there and try again.
these parameters are

Search help is not triggering second time in interactive form
Hi,
I have online interactive form in WDABAP. And I have few search helps in the form, If i click on any search help it is opening and I can select the value and the same is populated to the field. But if i click it again search help is not opening.
Only one time it is triggering and also after I clicked one serach help, other search helps also dont work.
Can some one guide me? Is it something to do with scripting or any other configuration?
Now Im using ALD7.1 and Reader version is 8.1.0.
did any one faced this problem? Really appreciate if some one can help me on this.

RH9 Webhelp Search function is not working properly
Hi,
My organization is using RH9 for a Webhelp project. My company and our client are restricted to using IE9 for the online help I have created for this project, and our OS environment is Windows 7. When I generate using the Webhelp layout, with the TOC, Index and Search options chosen, my resulting browser window shows two frames. Left for the Contents/Index/Search and right for the content. In the left panel, there are three links at the top for Contents, Index and Search. When I click on the Search link, the only thing I see is the alphabet A-Z (which are links to filter items beginning with these letters (much like the index link) and a list of what I would say is garbage. For example, if I click on H, I see items like "half 1 2 3" or "held" or "honor # 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8", etc. If I run my cursor down this list, I notice that maybe the word honor is a link. If clicked it brings up one of my topic pages. I can also click on the random numbers that appear, like clicking on 3 it brings up another topic page. The search function does not allow me to type in a search criteria, since there is no search field as well.
Do you have any suggestions for this issue? Is this a bug, or do I need to change settings somewhere within RH9? The same thing is happening when using this help project that is running on our clients server. Is there any suggestion you can give to try and make this work properly?Rick, Thanks for stepping in. I assumed that was the reason why I was not receiving the search field, and that is fine for now. We have discussed with our client the possibility of having two different help projects one for each, but that decision was kind of put on the back burner.
However, the other issue I am having is still there and I don't quite understand why. Since I only have clickable A-Zs for the search, and it lists links much like the Index section, I'm still seeing lists of just numbers and characters (i.e., "# 1 2 3 4 5", or "%" or "& 1 2 3 4 5" sometimes all the way up to 18 or so). And each of these characters or numbers are clickable links as well to either page that doesn't contain that number or to nothing.
Doing a bit more research, I have noticed that a lot of these links are being picked up by the PDF file we have as part of the project. Our help project has a link to the documented version of the help in the form of a User Guide.pdf file. So the search is listing items from that guide like the heading numbers 1.0, 1.0.1, etc. Also each of these are clickable links that go nowhere. But then there is still the numbers 1, 2, etc that go to pages that don't have this anywhere on the page.
Do you have any insight as to why these types of things are being listed under Search at all? They make that selection look very messy and unorganized. Not professional at all. I have checked and tested the properties settings and can't seem to find what is causing this to happen. Any idea would be most appreciated!! -
How to link a search help to a selection screen field
