Ringtone apps - Downloaded, but not to the Music folder so I can't use them

I'm a little frustrated. I downloaded a ringtone app and as per instructions, I should be able to access the ringtones in the music folder. they downloaded, but they are not in the music folder so I can't use them and I need some new ringtones!! Please help!

I don't find an app called "ultimate ringtone"...must not be available to me. You might want to read the reviews to see if anyone has hints there. You also might want to contact the developer to find out what you need to do with their app.

It sounds like your issue here is that iTunes can not find the files for some of the songs you have brought into it. This happens occasionally even if the songs have not been moved from the location that iTunes places them on import or purchase. When you try to use the song, iTunes prompts you to find the file, as you have seen.
To find the file, use the information in this article to navigate through the iTunes media folders -
Locate and organize your iTunes files
If you are still unable to locate the files, you may need to download them from the iTunes store again, or rip them from your CDs. See this article for assistance with downloading your past purchases -

The iTunes Media folder is set in Preferences > Advanced, and is the key to most iTunes folder organizational activities. So I doubt that the automatic deletion will work for files that are somewhere else within the folder structure.
However, I have not experimented with that issue in quite a while, so you are welcome to give it a try in iTunes 11.

Unless you'd signed up to iTunes Match then they won't be in the Cloud, only music purchased from iTunes (if you are in a country where music can be re-downloaded) will be there. Have you not still got it on your computer and/or on a backup which you can use to sync it back to the iPad ?

Restoring a backup is specific to the backup program you are using to do your daily backups - consult it's manual, help file or author's support site
Back up your iPhoto library, Depress the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library starting with the first option and trying others until you are succesful

and confirm. Test. If the sites still don't work, they're incompatible with Safari. Use another browser, such as Firefox, to access them.

Did home sharing but not all the music came over

I have set up iTunes on the new computer but after doing the home sharing, I realized that not all the music came over. But now the home share button is gone.

Process exist in apps server but not in the database

Hi all,
10.2.0.3 2 node RAC AIX
In our application server,topas command shows some PIDs consuming high CPU. But the PID when resolved to sid in the database,no rows are returned.
Which means the process does not exist in the database.
How can I know what the process is doing in application server as it has gone zombie now?

There are some cases when a transparent table exists in the Data Dictionary but not in the database.
1. You have just created the table and saved it. But you have not activated it.
2. There's a large amount of data in your table and you have attempted to change the key fields of the table (e.g., you are trying to delete existing key fields). This action requires you to use the database utility. During this process, the table is first physically deleted from the database and a new table is created. In the meanwhile the data from the old table is stored in a temporary table. So while the database utility is performing this operation, the table does not exist in the database for some time.

are you using iPhoto or the finder? Never touch your photos using the finder if you use iPhoto!
In iPhoto folders can not hold photos - folders hold only other folders or albums - albums hold photos -- within an album you can manually arrange photos as you wish

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. Any Apps purchased with your Apple ID can be downloaded again, no charge. Tap Apps icon, tap purchases. This should pull up App Store and past purchases. Apps made on another ID must be downloaded with that ID ( my sons and I share a library on the computer! but have separate IDs.
