RKM SAP problem

Hi, i'm trying to reverse a SAP system. I've uploaded sap code, but when i use gui i have "Problem in Data Extraction from SAP".
I'm able to navigate only a few child (the Undefined one) and not able to search.
When i select some Z-Tables the reverse finish as OK, but in designer i found only the submodel and not the tables.
I'm using an administrator user.

When you installed SAP adapter for ODI do you have to have to install any security patches in SAP for ODI to connect?

We have a error in the RKM SAP BW.
It work's fine for infocubes with few dimensions (4-5).

Hi Jyothi,
This error usually comes because of presence of zombie ./ bad request. I would suggest you to check few of the tables and search for your request "REQU_DBCFVY9N1691OYQYNCMUGCSGM" in them if you are able to find it then delete that entry from there, there after you should not face error. Check if the request mentioned above is present in the below mentioned tables? If yes delete them from there.
RSREQICODS, RSTSODS, , RSICCONT, RSODSACTREQ.
Also check if the notes mentioned in the below thread are applicable in your case?

SAP problem with Windows Vista

I have purchased a Laptop with Windows Vista OS having Internet explorer 7.0 and loaded SAP GUI 6.40 with patch 20. I am facing the following problems:
1. Not able to execute CJ20N transaction
2. Heirarchy reports are not showing column descriptions
3. Some standard reports are not able to be executed
4. Not able to get connected to my client thru Cisco VPN
5. Not able to reply in webmails
Also some times my system is taking lot of time to execute simple commands and shutdown.
Can anybody help me how to resolve these?

Printing thru SAP : Problem when connecting thru a dial-up connection.

Dear All,
We are on SAP R/3 4.7 Enterprise with Oracle and AIX. We have our C&F agents who dial-up to our central SAP server thru a broadband connection. These people generate the excise challans and invoices and take a print out. We have configured the printers as frontend printers (access method is F ), since we dont have a fixed IP from the hosts which are connecting to SAP servers. The problem we are facing is that whenever there is a disconnect from a particular location the print spool work process just 'hangs' and eventhough other spool work processes are free the printing just halts. We are unable to kill the work process either thru SAP or at the OS level ( we have AIX ). If you have any inputs on this kindly let me know. The problem is severe since we have no option but to restart the application servers. In case you have any other solution, i could try.

SAP* Problem in client 001

I forgot the any account to logon client '001' now and i forgot the password for SAP* in client '001'
so i started to delete the SAP* in database level (DB2 UDB for Linux) by using th command below:
db2
delete from sapn4s.usr02 where mandt = '001' and bname = 'SAP*'
After i restarted the Application server, i find that the SAP* account did not regenerate from the system in client '001'
Is this problem related to the parameter "no_automatic_user_sapstar"
if that's the case, can anyone tell me how to change/check this parameter in database level?

@Anil: In order to get default password of SAP*, we have to delete user only.
Please follow below procedure to reset SAP* Password:
To reset SAP* password, please follow this step:
1. Set the profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0 from RZ10 (If you canu2019t logon, you can edit your Instance Profile directly from the OS level, folder /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile, )
2. Restart Application Server.
3. Logon to your SQL command (eq: SQL PLUS for Oracle) and connect as SYSDBA.
4. Run: SELECT * FROM [Schema].USR02 WHERE BNAME=u2019SAP*u2019 AND MANDT=u2019<client>u2019
Example: SELECT * FROM PRD.USR02 WHERE BNAME=u2019SAP*u2019 AND MANDT=u2019000'
5. If exist, then run:
DELETE FROM PRD.USR02 WHERE BNAME=u2019SAP*u2019 AND MANDT=u2019000'
Make sure the user deleted by re-run step 4.
6. Logon to Client with user SAP* and password: pass

SAP problem in making a Sales order

Dear All,
I am a student and we have here an assignment of making a sales order in SAP R/3. To help us out in better understanding SAP, our professor has provided a pdf document wherein directions about creating the Sales order are given. Even after following the steps I am unable to make the sales order & getting an error as"process sales document type IN with transaction VA11". Can anybody tell me what mistake I have made and how I can rectify that?

Here you go -
Every sales order works with the first and foremost data input in its "Create transaction" VA01 - Order Type. The order type is the heart for the Sales Docuemnt. In its configuration, we indicate what the document category is - meaning whether its a sales order or inquiry or quotation etc. In your case, you pickedup an order type IN; IN in standard SAP is Inquiry. So, if you attempt to create a sales order using VA01 and key in order type as IN, it fails to proceed further as the document category is not order. So, it is giving you error saying use in in VA11. Now, change the order type to OR or something similar whichever is configured in your system for sales order creation.

ODI : SAP Integrate ?

I have error on the step of Reverse Engineer from SAP with this message "Problem in Data extraction from SAP System!!".
My step are :
1. Create Data Server that point to SAP Server
2. Config FlexFields with an appropriate value to connect to SAP System.
3. Insert new project.
4. Import RKM SAP ERP.
5. Insert new model with SAP ABAP technology.
6. Choose Customized Reverse Engineer with RKM SAP ERP.
7. Click Revere to start reverse engineer process.
8. New java windows appear called "SAP Metadata Browser".
9. Cannot choose / search because when I choosed some of them it will popup the message box ""Problem in Data extraction from SAP System!!".
10. I tried to search the existing table ,eg. MARA ,but the result is "No Result Found!!"
11. I have create a log file that work with this KM it return some error message as follow
*INFO: OdiSAPERPAdapter: getSearchResult : Search- Getting list search criteria:*
*SEVERE: OdiSAPERPAdapter: getSearchResult : Error in getting list search criteria : Z_ODI_RFC_GET_TABLES RFC not found in SAP.*

Vendors are not able to open Payment advices send through SAP

Hi,
We regularly send payment advices to our Vendors thorugh Payment programme F110. but all of sudden many of vendors are facing issue while opening PDF File.
Some of them are getting Error as "Adobe reader could not open file because it is either not supported file or because file has been damaged(it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded) while some of them are receiving Blank attachment.
Also when we try to send same file to internal id's and our personal Id's we are able to open same. So this is not sap problem as file leaves sap correctly.
Also one more observation is when correct file is received by us the file size is of 8KB while same when received by Vendors its only of 1 KB i.e it consist of only disclaimer and no PDF File
Please let me know solution for this at earliest as many vendors are facing this issue.

We had also checked settings at our Mail server and our security software trend Micro and mails are seen to be properly send through same.
Actually we Shifted from Exchnage Server 2003 to 2007 in month of February. After that these Problems started Cropping up.
and Now that its almost a month, this has become serious issue.
Please let me know if anybody knows solution for this. This doesn;t look to be problem of SAP.

ERROR- Unable to retrieve data from SAP systems

We have installed SAP Netweaver Gateway (NWGW) Tool plugin in mac os.
When we are trying to browse the services we are able to see only SDATA services in NWGW plugin.
So we have changed the service from ODATA to SDATA in gateway system. We are able to see the services in the NWGW plugin.
When we are trying to get the response in xcode by using the following code,

we are in OSS registered as CCC. I am able to send notifications from our SolMan to OSS with components(instalations) which are registered under out SAP customer number(our SolMan instalation etc.).
When I want to sned notification for our customers to OSS but with component of our customer(he has another SAP number, his instalation) then I got an error message

HELP! SAP Execute Delete Archiving Session failure

Dear All,
Could anyone give me opinions on SAP problems?
When we archived object u201CFI_documntu201D, delete a u201CFilesu201D in tcode u201CSARAu201D, the AIX file system u201C/Oarcle/R3P/oraarchu201D was full, SAP and database have stopped, one archiving session deleting was failed and cannot retry. The SAP error message below:
"Text CCR 110000570022007002 ID 0001 language EN not found"
Message no. TD600
Diagnosis: you want to read a text which does not exist in the database (or update memory)
system response: Reading could not be carried out.
Procedure: you need to create this text:
1.Initialization (module INIT_TEXT)
2.Save (module SAVE_TEXT)
In SAP -> Overview of Archiving, the icon of file "000092-0031FI_DOCUMNT" is a THUNDER, not a green light.

I have not faced this particular situation, so the following is just a thought, please try with caution.
Delete the cancelled job from the job overview, this possibly does away with the flash icon (THUNDER) on the deletion status of archive file, hopefully you should be able to manually re-run the delete job by going to SARA-(object FI_DOCUMNT) ->Delete and choosing the file for which deletion was incomplete.

Search result problem in material master (MM03)

When I use either of the default text searches provided in MM03 (Advanced Search for Material Using Search Engine or Quick Search for Material using Search Engine), I get correct results from the search. However, the first column in the results table, Material code, is blank for all the records. All the other searches work correctly, but these two don't return the Material code, which is obviously required for this to be an effective search.
This seems like a bug. Anyone else seen this?

ABAP team said it was an SAP problem and they needed to send a fix. Started a call with SAP and they're saying it's something we did in configuring it. I never configured it. Wouldn't know where to go.
Is there configuration for the Advanced Search Engine?

Output problem in ME9F

I have a problem in PO smartform. I have 2 items in the PO in which i am deleting one or both.
I am getting the output displayed correctly when i am seeing the output in print preview of ME23n.
But when i am trying to get the output from ME9F, i am not getting the correct output as in print preview of ME23n.

Hello Sudhir,
Please be clear on as to what you are not geting correctly.
There might be many reasons for not getting a print like Basis problems, Template Problems etc.
Let me know if the print is not at all coming or print is coming but the alignment is not proper.
I had also suggest you to take print out on a different printer to check if its printer problem or SAP problem.

Iu2019m trying to figure out how to make KIS 2010 and SAP Netweaver work together but so far I couldnu2019t find a u201Cgoodu201D solution.
The only way that I figured out so far, to make it work, is turn off the u201CApplication Controlu201D on KIS2010.
Do you know some exceptions that I can insert to u201Copenu201D the kaspersky for the SAP applications?
