Romanian Language on my Curve 9310

Does anyone know where I can download the Romanian language pack for my Curve 8310?
I hvae lates version of the Desktop Software and I downlaoded and installed the Multilanguage pack for my 8310 but Roamanian is not available.

Welcome to the Community
I can see that you had Installed a Multilanguage OS pack which does not include Romanian language .If you want Romanian language then you had to Download an East Asian or an All Language Pack OS pack which will include Romanian language.
So download a proper OS pack having East Asian or an All Language pack.

Using unlocked bb curve 9310 w/Tmobile without data

Greetings, I am looking to buy a bb curve 9310. At the moment, I am in a 2 year contract with Tmobile-unlimited call & text, no data plan. I need to change my phone and I would like a blackberry because I text a lot, and also I would use its WiFi capabilities as well. I've been doing some research, and it appears to be not so simple as to just buying the phone and putting a SIM card. I would just like to know if I'd be able to use an unlocked bb curve 9310 with my Tmobile SIM (2 year plan, no data) I already know that I wont be able to use features such as BBM. I'm waiting till my contract expires and maybe then add a data plan or switch carriers. Any response would be greatly appreciated since I need to change my phone ASAP. Thank you!

That does happen with carriers like At&t and Verizon. However, T-mobile US doesn't do that. I have an iPhone and a BB 9780 for two of my kids on family plans for $5 each per month--no data plans.

Blackberry Curve 9310 won't reconfigure my Google email

I accidently pressed something on my Blackberry Curve 9310 and it caused all my phone calls and Google emails to run together for awhile. Well,I finally fixed that,but now I can't send any pictures from my phone to my Google email without me getting a message that I'm being redirected to the Setup Wizard because messaging isn't configured. I then get to Setup,press email accounts,and I'm stuck.....nothing happens. My phone won't do anything. I can read my emails,but cannot send anything to my email,and I like to send my pictures from my phone to my Google account to edit them before posting them online anywhere. I have tried the Service Book thing,but nothing works there either. Please help...this is very frustrating!!!

Please try those steps in the same sequence ,
1- Register your Handheld .
KB00510 : How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Wait till a Registration messages comes in your message box.
2- Delete and Resend your Service Book
KB05000 : Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
KB02830 : Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
( Wait till a Registration Message comes in your message box for each email that you have configured on your device )
3- Then perform a battery pull restart like this while the device is powered On remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert it back
try it and let see if it helps this time .

I want to ask a question? and see if its possible, I have verizon for almost 4 yrs, right now I'm able to upgrade the phone, but I want to wait until January to buy the new Blackberry with OS 10. but the current phone that I have rigth now is broken, and I don't have insurance, but I don't want to sign a two years contract, but I was thinking if is possible to use a curve 9310 from boost mobile on the verizon Network, I was checking the specs and both are CDMA, can anyone help me with my inquire.

How to put Romanian Language into Instant Portal editor

I have installed Instant Portal. The default site has been created in Romanian Language. But how do I get the Instant Portal generated text items such as (Rich Text item or Expandable Rich Text item) ? When I logon I get the login Screen in Romanian Language (as my Browser runs romania and accept romania as the primary language) so it seems that part of the product supports Romania.
After creating a new Instant Portal using the Portal Builder the NLS characters (ăîşţ) are shown as squares. I respect steps that are documented in the "Working with Languages" topic of the Oracle Instant Portal on-line help and I can't use Instant portal in a Romanian Language.

I am able to copy and paste the Romanian page titles into both the rich text and expanded rich text items and have them render the same. Could you answer a few more questions to help diagnose the behavior you are observing? What is your browser language set to? Have to tried setting the portal session language to Romanian using the Set Language portlet, instead?

I GOT A SOLUTION!
Ok, so this has been happening to me a lot with my 9790, and it sure is a pain in the ***...
I got my battery with my phone when I purchased it from the phone company, if you did too the battery is most likely legit.
So the 2 ways that worked for me are:
1) Plug the charger into the device and turn it on so the Red X appears again
2) Plug the device out, then take the battery out and hold it in your hands for 1-2 mins (that's what I did)
3) Put the battery back into the device and plug the charger back into the device, BUT DO NOT turn the device back on
I plugged the changer into my device without turning it on, and the LED turned on with a black screen, you wait 1-3mins and the screen will appear with a lightening bolt through a battery.
This means it's now charging, once that happened I still didn't turn it on. It'll go to the Blackberry loading screen on it's own. TA-DAH!!
If that doesn't work, here's the second way, but it's a pain in the ***...
Hopefully you Backed Up your phone recently..because what you're going to have to do is reinstall your phone, I can't remember the steps correctly but it's pretty simple
What you want to do is connect your BlackBerry to your desktop or laptop, and open up the BB Desktop Manager. From there your BlackBerry won't be detected. Then you have to update it and click on look for updates or whatever it says, then do that and even though you already have that version just click ok to update it. From there it'll update and reinstall everything. By the time it's done you're phone should be wiped except for the things you have saved on your little memory card. Next just restore everything you had backed up from the desktop manager.

Please let me know how to install Romanian language in a Unicode system.
What are the steps to install it via SMLT.
What are the profile parameters I have to change.
Other than installation of language, do I have to perform any additional steps for Romanian Language?
Currently we have English, German language in our Unicode system.

1.check Delivered Languages service.sap.com/languages.
2.check note 42305
3.In transaction SMLT , Choose Classify Language (Language symbol or F5 )
4.Supplement this language with English or German (Recommended)
5.The language must be defined in the instance profiles so that you can log on in these languages. The relevant parameter is
zcsa/installed_languages.
6.Go to the language for which you want to install extra packages and choose or choose Language --> Import Package
7.in the next screen , enter the path for language packages.
8.start immediately or schedule it .Optionally you can use the target server to exceute this ( to avoid performance issues
,if you are importing in production timings, and you cna exculde this server from logon group )
9.if any problems in importing then analyze the log and restart the import .
10.After importing the languages, you must also import the language data in the Support Packages.Choose Language --->
Special Actions ---> Import Support Packages
11.Go to the language that you want to supplement and choose or Language ---> Supplement Language(this is client specific ,
so execute for each client in your system)

Blackberry Desktop Manager won't work with Curve 9310

Can anyone help me troubleshoot why the Blackberry Desktop Manager won't work when I plug my Balckberry Curve 9310 into the USB port. The program freezes and shuts down. If I try to use the device switch wizard I get this message "Fatal Error has occured while updating your device's software. Please try again." I had to purchase a new Blackberry because my provider doesn't work in my new location so I bought StraightTalk Blackberry because I use it for business and I am familar with the phone. I am desparate to get my connections loaded onto my new phone. Help!

Romanian language package

Hi,
We use EP 6.0 and even the romanian language is displayed in the language drop-down the portal does not have this package.
Do you have any idea, how to gain this language package and how to upload to the portal?

Add French language pack to Curve 8520

Dears,
I recently updated my device (Curve 8520) software to version 5.0.0.1036, since then I don't have French in my languages anymore.
When trying to add this with the Desktop Manager, the language is not mentioned in the Application List.
Can someone help me to add the French pack to my device?

the language packs are included in the OS installer. Whatyou need to do is find an OS that contains the french language pack.
You can look at the french carriers (Orange France, Vodafone SFR, Bouygues Telecom) or European carriers (like Vodafone DE or O2).

My email wont reconfigure to screen Curve 9310

I just got the 9310 to replace my 8530 curve. Im getting really frustrated tho cuz the emails wont reconfigure to fit the screen like a column view. When I open an html email i have to keep scrolling from side to side to see anything displayed cuz it displays past where the screen ends. the only was I can get a column is to totally remove all images and view as text only.
Is there something Im missing? How do i get the email message to configure to the size of the screen.
Getting really fed up cuz I like the blackberry cureve but its making me hate it! I primarily use it for email!

i use curve 9300, and i there is no chinese language, korean, or japanese, i readed more than ten threads which are discussing the problem, many of them said use the blackberry desktop software, but when i try, there no such option like adding language to device, i've download a lot of desktop software, but different version, but when i open it, i just the same, hope someone know how to help me ..

There must be already some value in zcsa/installed_languages in your instance profile.
Now in SMLT check the language information for checking the relevant value for chinese language and add this value to the parameter : zcsa/installed_languages
