Rounding of salary components

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement of rounding of salary components.suppose my basic salary is 8099.3 then this should be rounded to 8099 in the same way if it is 8099.6 then it should be rounded to 8100.That is if amount is below 0.5 then it should be rounded down if it above 0.5 then it should be rounded up.There should be no decimal's.
How can i solve this.i have tried to do this through table V_T511 but it is not coming.
Please guide me in this.

    I have a query around rounding off amounts in PC_PAYRESULT cluster. The basic pay should be rounded off two places from decimal ( This is done by v_512w_d, changing PC -10 (A)) but for other wage types the rounding of rule is no value post decimal and rounding off the amount after decimal to next number.

    Sorry , in case of wrong communication from my side, when i said about the process class 10  Spec A , it means this is the standrad one which was been provided by the SAP so for the wage types which are in IT0008 if they come into proration (i means PRCL 10 as 1 and if all them has to be rounded off in such cases instead of useing the PCRs we can go with the standrad one so i have said to go in the said manner in the previous thread) in standrad to round off the wage types we have to go with Custom PCRs if you are asking for Wage types in IT008 , 0014 , 0015 Etc
    the pcr shd be inserted below XVAL if any or else u can use Spec A for wage types IT0008 , for wage types in IT0014 and 0015 you can use INAP

  • Switch Off rounding for BOM Components in Sales Order

    Hi all,
    We are using a multi-level sales BOM that has finished goods as components. These materials have a rounding profile attached to them. However, we want the rounding profile to be active ONLY when these materials are sold individually and not as a part of the BOM. Is there a way to switch off rounding for child level materials when they are a part of the BOM ?

  • Rounding up salary increase

    HRMS application
    EBS 11.5.10.2
    windows 2003
    db 9.2.0.7
    Under Self service Manager/My employee informatuion/salary increased amount and anulized salary field need to be rounded up.
    If salary is increased to $500, it is showing up as $499.99 and same with anualized salary.
    How do I fix this problem?

  • Line Item text diplay for different wage components

    Hi Experts,
    My Client wants the exact narration (Monthwise) in line item text for the salary components which are posted to accounts. If I am using FB03 then the system is allowing me to maintain it manually, but it's not possible for headwise different salary components for 20,000 employees (Which is the manpower strength of the client) is there any other workaround for it? Is it possible that the monthwise narration will float for the wage components through the respective module?
    Please help in this regards.

    We are using ESS 1.0, Webdynpro 600 (EP 7.0).
    Is there any standard service for Salary packaging compare (employee perspective) to re-structure his salary components ?
    I found tcode : P16B in ECC 6.0.
    But I donno how to use and customize it. Please shade some light regarding the same...... what are prerequisites for this tcode ?

    When I enter the tcode - p16b from end user;s logon, it says transaction cannot be performed.

    we are using automatic packing proposal in sales order.But we want the rounding of the packing material to take place if the order quantity is less which is maintained in the packing instructions.
    please suggest what settings has to be done so that the rounding of the packing material can be used for rounding of crates in sales order packing proposal

    Are u seen in POP1 or POP2,
    There is column as Rounding quantity under components tab
    Rounding qty
    Serves mainly for building layers.
    You can use the rounding quantity to ensure that a layer is completely filled, in order, for example, to prevent possible damage in transit.
    Use
    The system checks that the rounding quantity is respected when it determines the packing status. In your packing status check profile, you enter whether a handling unit can be created despite falling short of the rounding quantity or not.
    Examples
    If you want to pack a pallet with four boxes per layer, enter four as rounding quantity and specify in the packing status check profile that handling units that fall short of the rounding quantity are faulty. If there are not enough boxes to fill up a layer, the other boxes then remain unpacked.
    This means that the pallet remains stackable and easier to handle throughout the shipping process.

                        I am running my payroll but my Income tax is not calculating properly because when am seeing my log then i find my total income is calculated properly but after that my STANDARD DEDUCTION is not been happening according to the rule if the employe is men it should be deducted 150,000 but it's not happenings . In payroll log where i can see the this (STANDARD DEDUCTION)amount because am not able to find how much deduction is happenings.My employe joining date is 01.05.2009

    I have maintained following steps, and able to clear my issue.
    1. Check Table/view V_T7INJ1 for Section 24 deduction details,
    2. Table/view V_T7INJ3 for the Loans eligibility check and limits.
    3. Table/view V_T7INJ5 for the disbursement schedule.
    4. Table/view V_T7INJ6 for the event codes of Loan grouping.
    5. Configure feature ALOAN, which will return the grouping.
    6. Table/view T506C which will give the loan condition values.
    7. Table/view V_T506D
    8. Table/view V_T506S,
    9. The constants LMNL1, LMNL2 and LONPI should be maintained in the table V_T511k.
    10. The constant LMVAL should be maintained in the table V_T511P.
    Also check for below points
    1. Check that the feature 40LGR is configured for India,
    2. Check that the feature 40LSL is configured which will return the Salary components

  • Calling the same API twice in one procedure

    Has anyone every had any issue in caling an API twice in the one procedure?
    I have one file that has two element entries and up to three salary components. Has anyone ever had an issue doing this?

    Can any one help me on what all reports I can generate from SAP.
    My Report requirement in HR is:
    Report 1)  Consolidated statement of employees  with all the basic details - Cadre Wise, Position Wise, Section Wise, nationality Wise etc
    Report 2)  Report of Sick leave month wise
    Report 3)  Report of overworking month wise
    Report 4) Standard payroll related statements such as:
    Deduction Statement
    Employee wise pay sheet summary
    Payroll summary showing the brrak up of the salary components section wise

    2)  I am not able to find any report that gives me monthly salary for an employee
    Example: Monthly salary as per contract for an employee is 1000
    He will be having 2 deductions and after deduction his salary will be 800
    So Report that gives me the actual earning of an employee for the month.

    HI,
    I am encountering similar situation where we need 2 currencies to be processed in our SAP system.
    What we intend to do is to have both currencies in Infotype 0008-Basic Salary where we can select whichever applies.
    Unfortunately the currency is defaulted to RM for now.
    I tried the suggested solution by trying to maintain a new entry of payscale group and level but the currency is defaulted to RM anyway.There's no way for us  to change the RM to USD since it it following the country grouping i presume.
    How should we go about this?

    Please help me out.
    I am working on BI 7.0
    This is my scenario.I need to take a project cost report.
    There are some projects in cProjects and some projects in R/3 (Project System).
    Each project in cProjects is linked with one or more projects in R/3.
    They are linked by means of GUID.Now I need to pull out a report from a infocube(Z infocube) which has information both from R/3 and cProjects.I built a Z infocube.
    Here comes my problem.
    I need to write update rule for the requirement explained below.
    For all the projects(in cProjects) I need to find its GUID from the table-DPR_PROJECT . These GUIDs are contained in this table under the field name GUID.
    The same GUID numbers I can find it in another table-DPR_OBJLINK under the field PROJECT_GUID. For this PROJECT_GUID numbers, I need to identify the corresponding EXTERNAL_ID(this field is in the table-DPR_OBJLINK) of the projects(These projects are R/3 projects). These EXTERNAL_ID values has to be pulled out in the report.
    I am using the extractor 0CO_OM_WBS_1.
    Please help me out with the update rule code.
    Please help me out as soon as possible.

    The system determines the professional tax payable by an employee, based on the following factors:
    Professional tax basis u2013 Comprises those salary components on which a professional tax is applicable. The salary components to be included for calculating the professional tax basis depend on the state. The different components are:
    Basic pay
    Dearness allowance
    Medical reimbursement perquisite
    Housing
    Profits in lieu of salary
    Other remuneration that an employee receives regularly
    Bonus
    It is depending on the combination of the Personnel Area, Personnel sub area and the professional tax grouping of the employee, that the system identifies factors such as the:
    Components of the professional tax basis.
    Method and the frequency of calculating and deducting professional tax.

    Hi Rajasheker,
    Without knowing the exact scenario it is hard to give you an answer but I hope the following broad guidelines might help you.
    1) There must be some thing in common or it may be a case of wrong architecture/missing buseness requirements. Identify the relationship between these two.
    2) Or, do they have a 100% parallel relationship by design? In this casse you need to create a high level common object (dummy) to facilitate the consolidatation process (for example company code or worst scheario sys-id) and enhance both cube as well as ODS.
    3) Or, if it is a complex situation: Introduce a new object which can build a bridge between these two. Ask the business about the rules.
    If it doesn't help, pl give more details.
