Did you configure the web server as the last part of foundation services? You could always get a patch for IE support but the blank screen always appears if the services wasn't started up correctly or if the web server wasn't configured lastly after any configuration change.
About the Weblogic here's where you can get more info about your error message: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12839_01/apirefs.1111/e14397/LogMgmt.html
    "BEA-170011
Warning: The LogBroadcaster on this server failed to broadcast log messages to the admin server. The Admin server may not be running. Message broadcasts to the admin server will be disabled.
    Description
The LogBroadCaster on the managed server could not find a reference to the DomainLogHandler on the admin server. Messages from this server will not be logged in the domain log.
    Cause
The managed server might not be able to reach the admin server. One of the possible causes could be due to the admin server being shutdown.
    Action
To fix this problem, inspect the exception stack trace, correct the problem. If the admin server is shutdown, restart it to resume normal log broadcasting to the domain."
    Just my 2cents...

  • IMac intel: 5 minutes of blue screen before startup! Help!

    Hi-
I have a Core Duo 17" iMac. I've erased the hard drive and installed a clean, new copy of 10.5. It takes the computer 5 minutes of blue screen before starting. There are no peripherals attached, no other software than the Apple system software installed. I erased the hard drive and installed 10.6, and had the same problem. Reset the SMC, zapped the PRAM. Replaced the memory chips. Replaced the hard drive. Nothing helps.
The console log shows lots of delay about "did not die after sending SIGKILL." The Console log also shows the 5 minute delay in startup. In the log below, look at the entry at 5:21 pm on 9/15. That's when the computer started, then the next entry is 5 minutes later at 5:26pm. That's my 5 minute blue screen startup.
Anyone know what's going on? Thanks.
    KC

Curious to know how you got to 10.5.8, If you went through Software Update, using the "Delta" updates, or if you used the 10.5.8 Combo? It might be worthwhile applying (or re-applying) the 10.5.8 Combo, which might serve to fill in anything missing or possibly corrupted.

The other thing I'd try is running Applejack which is a very useful little program for troubleshooting and repairing. It runs from Single User Mode. Hold CMD-S at the startup chime. Here's a short article explaining how it's used. (Also, be sure to read the Read Me.) It's very easy to use. You just follow the on screen prompts. First, just type in applejack and press return. To begin with, I'd only run it only for steps 3 and 4, which will do a relatively light cache cleaning (but, importantly in your case, clean out the boot cache) and check for corrupted Preference files. Doing it this way, you'll also be able to run those steps for your user, not just the system. If that doesn't help, you can run it for deeper cache cleaning by typing in applejack AUTO and let it run through a full sequence of tasks. Note: that if you do a deeper cache cleaning, you can expect the system to run a bit slower until those caches are rebuilt.

  • PEAP with RSA question

I am getting ready to install a wireless network with WLC4404, ACSSE and about 100 AP's. The current network is a Novel network and every user has an RSA token. We want to be able to have the users use their RSA token with connecting to the wireless.
I have found all the documents from here on how to configure ACS including getting the certificate and adding in the RSA server. I also know how to add the information to the RSA server for the ACS.
What I am not sure about is the setup of the windows XP SP2 machine for RSA security.
From what I have read, it seems that I just need to select WPA2, AES, then select PEAP, and under PEAP options choose Smart Card. Is this all?
When I looked at the RSA sites documents, their screen shots show the ability to choose a hardware or software token.
    Seth

I have been doing some research into this.
If I have this correct, I cannot use the RSA token directly with Window's without using a supplicant like Funk Odyssey or Cisco.
    Is this correct?

  • RSA SecurID soft token not importing to BB Z10

    Hi,
I've been a new Z10 user (previously with the Bold and the Curve since the last 6 years, and loved every minute of it) since the past week... I have a problem with installing the RSA Soft Token on this phone (we use the RSA Soft tokens for a secure 2 factor authentication to our VPN network at work)...
When I try to download the token from http://www.rsa.com/bb352, it goes through successfully... but, when i try to instal it, it gives me the error: "Unable to open the file"
Can someone please help me out here?
    Thanks in advance.

I was able to make this work for the Z10.
    1. download and install the BAR file as people have already provided.   this will give you an app that opens and says a token import is required.  leave the app for now.
    2. take your blackberry .stdid file and use the converter provided by RSA at the command line on a PC like this   tokenconverter x-rimdevice-mytoken.stdid -android -p <insertyourpasscode>     This should spit out a url at the command line that looks like http://127.0.0.1/securid/ctf?ctfData=<somebignumber>
    3. go back to the RSA app on the BB and when sliding down you will see 3-dots on the bottom right.  this will allow the top to slide down to reveal the IMPORT (manual import) screen for the app.
    4. with the manual import open, type (yes I said type!) the whole string above including the http://...  part.   (i've tried every way of pasting this in... doesn't work... but be my guest if you want to try yourself)
    5. you'll be prompted for the passcode digits again and bingo! it works from then on.
    good luck.

  • SGD with RSA Token Authentication - Is it all or nothing?

We are investigating having RSA authentication in SGD, but we only want to force its usage for a subset of users. Based on what I can see in the docs and the screen its not clear if its all or nothing.

We have the same question from a customer.
    Here is my suggestion:
Have two sgd servers. Both are in one array. Because LDAP and RSA are global configurations, both sgd server cann handle loggins via these authorities.
To prevent login via RSA in sgd1, disable the route to the RSA server.
To prevent login via ldap in sgd2, disable the route to the LDAP server.
The sgd2 should be the primary and the login of the admin Console, so DSI will work.
Another thought with a dead end is: RSA via 3Party and http.conf preventing access from a network. This can work, but not with firewall traversal, because the apache sees only the localhost.
Would be happy to have more suggestion about this.

  • Enable Screen Sharing from command line

I inadvertently removed screen sharing from my mac mini server firewall but I can still ssh into it. How can I enable either screen sharing or remote management via ARD?
    Thanks so much,
    J.

Sorry for the imperfect instructions, I was doing it from memory.
First, set up secure ssh credentials by doing the public/private RSA key exchange.
Based on someone else's suggestion I found on the web, I created an "alias" command in my .tcshrc file. I just launch a terminal session and use my alias I've created, followed by my ssh credentials on the remote machine, and the alias/script does the rest.
    Begin fragmment from my .tcshrc....
echo " myvnc ACCOUNTNAME = connect to ACCOUNTNAME via VNC"
    alias myvnc 'ssh -f -L 1202:localhost:5900 \!:1 sleep 10 ; open vnc://localhost:1202'
    ... End fragment.
So when I want to vnc I just type
    $ myvnc [email protected]
In fact, after a while, I got tired of reading all the server logs of people trying to hack my server over port 22 (ssh standard port). Once you have the alias command above working for you, you can pick a different port on your server's firewall, and forward it to port 22 inside the firewall. That way, hackers that scan your port 22 won't get any response.
Once you do this, you can revise the alias in your .tcshrc to also include the "-p" ssh argument, so hep save you the trouble of remembering the ssh port you have moved your server conversation to. For example, it you decided to close port 22 at the firewall, and forward port 2222 (just an arbitrary number I picked) to your server's port 22 inside the fire wall, your alias line would look like this...
    alias myvnc 'ssh -p 2222 -f -L 1202:localhost:5900 \!:1 sleep 10 ; open vnc://localhost:1202'

  • Only one UPN suffix works with OAM plugin for RSA-integrated Authentication

Only one UPN suffix works with OAM plugin for RSA-integrated Authentication while others give "CredentialsRejected" error
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-
Has anyone seen this before and might know the answer? Any suggestions? Thanks!
I have setup an OAM authentication scheme that uses a custom plugin to use RSA ACE server - all pretty much exactly as it is outlined in the chapter called "Integrating the RSA SecurID Authentication Plug-in" in Oracle Access Manager Integration Guide. Here's the problem:
Everything works fine when I use a particular UPN suffix to login to the RSA Securid Login form that is presented, eg. [email protected], but if I create another user that uses a different UPN suffix as defined in Active Directory, (eg. [email protected]), the credentials are rejected. This happens before the secuirid.pl script even gets a chance to run. After hitting "POST" the user is present with the same login screen he was just at, as expected during an authentication failure.
    More info:
    - I have performed successful anonymous ldap queries for both users in Active Directory using LDP. Both users exist in the same domain and in the same OU. If I change the UPN (in AD and the RSA database) to something different from the "good" one, on either user, it fails. If I change the UPN to the "good one" on either user (in AD and the RSA database) it works.
    - if I test users with either the "good" or the "bad" UPN via the RSA agent tester that sits on the OAM box, both of them show as authenticating successfully. However, it doesn't work for the "bad" UPN when I try to access via a web browser on a remote client (but does work with the "Good" UPN)
    - I am not using SSL in any of this yet, it's all http://
    - yes, I already got rid of the "-w" parameter in the first line of the perl script, as per the "login can fail if the Login Attribute Contains an "@" Character in Integration Guide Troubleshooting section
    - here's an example of the settings in rsa securid authentication scheme:
    action:/OracleAccessManager/securid-cgi/securid.pl
    form:/OracleAccessManager/securid-forms-adforest/securid-std-login.html
    creds:login password domain newpin newpin2
    passthrough:yes
    authn_securid fullformdir="C:\apache\Apache2\htdocs/OracleAccessManager/securid-forms-adforest/",machine="MyComputer.mydomain.com:80"
    credential_mapping obMappingBase="%domain%",obMappingFilter="(&(objectclass=user)(userPrincipalName=%login%))"
    Environment:
    OAM 7.0.4.3
    RSA Ace Server 5.2
Windows 2003 domain with multiple UPNs defined in Active Direcory Domains and Trusts

What are the logs you see at the ACE server end? You can try passing an additional parameter debug="true" to the authn_securid plug-in - it should generate some more logs at the access server - I think in apps\common\bin.
Also does "ReqHost^www.MyComputer.mydomain.com" look right in the logs?

  • ThinkStation S20 (4157) issues with RSA console

I have a ThinkStation S20 running Windows XP in an Active Directory environment.  When I join the machine to the domain, I am able to logon successfully using a domain account.
I can move the computer to an Organization Unit to receive software deployed via Group Policy and the machine works fine.
However, when I load the RSA Authentication Agent client (v6.1.3) onto the machine, it will allow me to enter username/password, but will hang at the "Applying Computer Settings..." screen after logon.
I have tested the RSA client on other hardware on the same AD domain, and so it appears to be narrowed down to the Lenovo ThinkStation S20 (4157-WDZ) model.  I am building these machines from an OS image and am configuring them in a RAID mirror using the Intel Matrix RAID.
I know it is a long shot, but has anybody seen issues with the ThinkStation S20 and RSA agents?  I am wondering whether it has something to do with BIOS, NIC drivers, etc.  I have gone current on those as well, and am still left scratching my head.
Thanks for any advice you can give!

I have not tried it on a clean installed Lenovo.  I have tried it however on other systems (non-Lenovo) loaded from the same OS image.
I am not 100% ruling out that it could have something to do with the OS image, but everything runs and loads perfectly on the Lenovo before I put the RSA client on the machine.
Once I add the RSA client to the Lenovo, I begin seeing issues as I described in my original post.
Has anyone seen issues where either firmware, drivers, etc from Lenovo ThinkStation S20 (4157-WDZ) conflict with a RSA client?
    Thanks again for this forum!

  • Windows Blue Screen Error Message Appears As Soon As IPod Connected

Everytime I connect my IPod to my computer, I get the Windows Blue Screen error message. Thought it was the cable, so plugged cable in by itself. No problem. Uninstalled IPod and ITunes software and then plugged in IPod, still got the Blue Screen. The Blue Screen says something about "recent plugged in device problem". It is not the cable, it must be the IPod. Did not have this problem when I bought it. Tried it on labtop and get the same error message. I can't do updater or anything that requires me to plug the IPod into a computer because the Blue Screen appears immediately. When I unplug, the Blue Screen remains and locks up the computer so I have to restart each time. I have tried everything I can think of. Please help.

Hi Mike thank you for replying,
I am not able to start the computer in safe mode, safe mode with networking, last good known configuration etc, Each time it quickly blue screens and restarts about two secs into the process.
I was unable to try a clean OS install from the disk as it gave the blue screen error shown in the original post. The same thing happened when I tried to use the repair option on the XP home disc. So i can't get into the computer at all to start diagnosing the fault, the only clue I have is the error message, and after searching the internet I haven't found much enlightenment from that yet.
If you can help me out or suggest where to search it would be much appreciated.
    Thx

  • Adobe Photoshop CS2 opening an image in middle of CS opening screen?

Can anyone please help me with a way of opening images in CS2 where after opening they will appear in the middle
of the CS screen rather then in the top left corner?
I can drag and maximize so they appear in the middle, but on reopening another image they default to the top left again, I would like them to always
    open in the middle?
    Thanks

Still having problems?  I was struggling to find any documentation for CS2 online, but realised that my bookshelf goes back to Photoshop 6, and I have Martin Evening's Photoshop for Photographers CS2.  Unfortunately, I could see nothing in any of the Preferences tabs that would help.
At this stage I don't really know what you have tried?  You should try to reset your workspace, and if that does nothing, reset your preferences.  The usual way to do that is to hold down Shift Alt Ctrl while opening Photoshop, but I don't know for sure that worked with CS2.
Bernie Ecclestone would only need a tiny exec jet, unless he wanted to take his wife along. ;-)
CC is Creative Cloud, and Tabs are those things you see along the top of the screen in your web browser when you have more than one page open.
Tauranga is on the North Island, but is very nice and has great beaches (if they have got the oil off)  I live in rural Marlborough right in the middle of the prime grape growing area.  Try Google with Rapaura.  I'm a few hundred metres south of the school.

  • Can not properly view cover flow in full screen in external display

My mac is the new Mac book pro 15.4 inch screen and I connect my mac pro to external display e.g. Samsung LCD monitor 24 inches.
The bug is that I can not PROPERLY view full screen (in external display) for some application e.g. iTunes, and Front Row.
    - When I use iTunes, I can not properly view Cover Flow view in full screen (in the external display screen) except the case of mirror display.
    - For Front Row, I can not view full screen in external display but only my mac display.
However, for other DVD or VDO players, I can view movie on external display in full screen and I still be able to do other works on my mac screen.
Please let me know how to solve it.

Did you check the Zoom setting?
Have you tried a reset (reboot)? Hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears.
If it isn't Zoom and a reboot doesn't help try Settings/General/Reset - Reset all settings

  • Company Name not getting Displayed in the incoming screen

I changed my blackberry from earlier 0S 7 to Z10 two days ago, but to my surprise it is not displaying company name in the incoming call screen. I have more than 20 people whose name is repeating and not able to identify, how come this feature is not available in the new model, what is solution ?

@ is a default value as per ALV internal process. This is used in icons .
I think this is causing the confusion.
Check in the fieldcat if there is any adjsutment to be made to handle this.
