RSA6 doesn't show appended fields

Hello group,
I added some fields in an append structure of BIW_PROJ for my 0PROJECT_ATTR extractor. When I call 0PROJECT_ATTR in RSA^I don't see these new fields. Former fields in the appens structure such as XSTAT and BWSTACQU (a status according to the status concept) do show, but the new fields PLFAZ and PLSEZ don't show.
In RSA2 these fields are set with fieldattribute A, but I would like to change that.

Have u activated the append structure? Please activate the same. Also the logic needs to be written to populate these fields in Rsap0001.
Check in RSA6, if the new fields are now seen. if yes, remove the hide box selection so taht they are availble in the BW side. Please also replicate the datasource before loading data.

PDF File in Preview doesn't show text fields, but OK in Adobe Acrobat

Someone emailed me a pdf document which I opened in Preview. All the the text fields where there was supposed to be data were blank.
I then opened in Acrobat and everything was there. Saved a copy from Acrobat and opened in Preview and the text was finally visible.
Anyone have a clue why this would be happening?

Macbook Pro retina doesn't show login field

Hi everyone!
I have a problem with my brand new Macbook Pro retina.
After switching the rights of the harddrive for different users to read only the harddrive itself was locked for me (THE BIG RED MINUS at the folder that appeard instead of the hardrive icon?!
No chance for me to undo it and now, now chance to start the computer again.
SMC reset wasn't working and a Parameter-Ram reset was also without result. I suggest that the harddrive has now no user who can login.?!
Please help me in this matter. Everthing went so fine that far. Migration etc. but now I would like only to shout into the dark (germany 23:14 pm)

MB5B - Stock on posting date doesn't show Storage Location field

I run report MB5B - Stock on posting date with Stock Types = Storage Loc/Batch Stock, but the report doesn't show
Storage Location field in result.
How can I see it in this report?

what i think i sthis report is only for the OPENINGand CLOSING stock for the period or day
now whenu give SL field then system will only concider stock from that SL
the filed of SL will not be viewable in report as it is just opening and closing balance

From field doesn't show in web mail inbox

Okay, I've searched the preferences page and the FAQs. It's driving me crazy that when I access my web mail that all I see is the 'To' field and have to guess about who the emails are from. I'd insert a screenshot if I could because in all the pictures I've found online the 'From' field shows so I Really don't understand why it doesn't show up for me. Instead of 'From' I get 'To' which is pretty useless since all of the emails in my Inbox are to me. I suspect people aren't going to believe me so let me give further description- when I first log in and click on my mail I see the flagged column, the status column, the "To" column, the "Subject" column, the "Date" column, the attachment column and the action column. This is for my Inbox. Nowhere do I see the "From" column. Pretty useless. Very frustrating.

"Dependecies" tab doesn't show any information for a selected table version 4.0

I work with SQL Developer 4.0.0.13. I can see 20 tables in the list. When I select one table, in the tabs on the right side I can see information for "columns" and "data" and "constraints" and "indexes"... but the tab "Dependencies" doesn't show any information about references between this table and other tables in the schema.
Oracle database is v11.2
Can you please tell me what do I need to do in order to see information on "Dependencies" tab for a table?

In SQLDeveloper select Preferences -> Database -> User Defined Extensions and click <Add Row>.
In the "Type" field enter "EDITOR" and in the "Location" field enter the path to the file with XML.
After restarting SQLDeveloper You should see a new tab "*Referencing Tables" for tables.

Barcode doesn't show up

I'm using Crystal Reports X (Sp6) and Visual Studio 2005 C#
I have got a very simple report with a barcode and following problems:
1. The printer I'm using is a Zebra PAX 110 which has got some internal barcodes. I've choosen this printer in my report and the barcodes show up in the font-list. When I use f.e. "ZB Barcode 128" the plain text is shown in Crystal Repor, but it's printed in barcode. Now, I'm using the report from my C#-application, but then the barcode is printed in plain text. The Code is very simple

1.1 I also tried the demoversion of a barcode called "precision Code 39". in my crystal rep I created a formula which puts a "*" in front and behind the code, but it prints only the code in plain text. the demoversion should work as a fullversion. Only some letters include a demo-watermark.
2nd Problem
Instead of the printerinternal barcode, I'm using the barcode "idautomation code 128" (A barcode 128). This one shows the barcode as code in the designer. Prints as well, when the printing is started from Crystal Rep, but doesn't show up at all when printed in C#. Nevertheless this worked months ago, but I can't find a clue why it doesn't work any more. I already reinstalled the fonts. I don't get any exceptions or anything.

I believe that if a field is defined as global
b in the data file
then it should be able to be referenced on any page. It shouldn't matter what page actually
b prints
the field. Effectively, all the global items in the data file are loaded into a "dictionary" and are available for reference anywhere within the form. Unfortunately, the field list provided for the !format event only shows the fields on that page, not all the fields in the form.
If @ORDER_NUMBER. (as a literal) is what the instruction operates against then the field "ORDER_NUMBER" doesn't exist in the data file. At least that is what some recent testing tells me.

UITextField from .xib file doesn't show

A UITextField from .xib file doesn't show when it's page comes up on the iPhone simulator.
The View looks fine in Interface Builder, and no warnings are thrown to Console or IB's Info window.
On the Simulator the View comes up and a Label and a Switch show, but not a UITextField. The Objects are on the same row and their bounds are all appropriate.
I don't see anything in the Text Field Attributes of IB that is problematic, plus I've probably tried all combinations of settings. In Connections there is a reference to a File's Owner attribute.
I have been able to create a UITextField programmatically.

Worked around the problem by deleting the UITextField from the .xib and re-creating it.

Metadata conflict: Doesn't show location data

Hello there,
I imported some pictures to Lightroom and edited them there normally. After closing lightroom I edited the location information via GeoSetter (www.geosetter.de). Looking at the images via ACDSee, I see correctly entered City, Sublocation, Procince, Country Code and Country Name in the IPTC data.
Firing up Lightroom 2, I do not see these metadata changes, location fields are all empty. So I click on Synchronize folder and synchronize Metadata. Lightroom now gives all images a Metadata status of "Has been changed". When I click on "Resolve conflict", the location data still is not shown, but actually the location data is deleted when looking at the image again via GeoSetter (or ACDSee) - basically the Lightroom-state-of-things (no locationdata) has been restored I guess. Ok, moving on.
I go back to GeoSetter and reset the location to where it should be, click on synchronize metadata in Lightroom again and the Metadata status is "up to date" - no "resolve conflict" possible, the problem now is:
The location data is STILL in the IPTC fields, Lightroom doesn't show it though, location fields are empty and stay empty even after synchronizing, or Lightroom deletes it as previously stated.
What is the correct way to edit metadata externally and how to tell Lightroom to resolve the metadata conflict by ACCEPTING the external changes and not reverting to the status quo?

It will, which as you have already figured out, isn't a good idea.
I don't know anything about Geosetter, but my guess is that it's writing the data back into the original photos. Unfortunately, Lightroom doesn't see these changes when Sync folder command is used because it's looking for a Metadata Change date, which is normally stored in XMP. There is a workaround though.
You haven't mentioned the type of files that you're working with, but I'll assume they're raw. If so the workaround is to use the Lr "Save Metadata to file" command before working on them with the external application (Geosetter). This will create an XMP file for each photo that contains all your existing metadata plus any Develop adjustments. Now you can save the new IPTC back to the files using Geosetter. Once that part is completed you can use the "Read Metadata from file" command knowing that all your original Lr metadata and develop adjustments will be copied back along with the new IPTC info.
Above also works with JPEG and TIFF files

Debug not showing & required fields not working

I have MX 7.0.2 Developer's Version installed on W2K and MX
7.0.2 on W2003 soon to be production server. On my Developer's
Version the debug output shows up and the required fields using an
input tag work. The same code on the production server, with the
same admin settings doesn't show debug output and the required
fields don't catch that the field is blank. I have read in the
forum that it is very likely that the /cfide virtual mapping is not
configured correctly, but not specifically how to fix the problem.
I see cfide in the admin setting, mappings on the production server
and have tried turning debug on and off, but still no debug output
and required fields not catching and not showing validation
message. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean to say that you are not able to see these settings in SE16 where as other users are able to? If that is the case , there might be an authorization problem for you.
or try logging off and loginto the system. that should work sometimes. If not try to go to SU53 and check whether your auth has failed to see for this table.

Appended field in the datasource as selection in infopackage

Hi,
I have appended a field in my datasource, say for example, country (ZZCOUNTRY). I set ZZCOUNTRY as selection in the datasource so i can filter by country in my infopackage. When i check my datasource, ZZCOUNTRY is there. But when i use it in filter, the system is ignoring it.
Example, if i load all data, i get 5 records. 1 is US, and 4 for CA. when i filter by country US and load my infopackage, i am expecting to get only 1 record, but i still get 5 records.
do you know if it's possible to use appended field as infopackage filter?

if u want to enchance your datasouce u are suppose to maintain the DS in RSA6,and then enable the fields for selections.
i suppose if the fields are appended fields you can't enable those for selection.
please check if these fields are enables before u proceed.

Apple mail search doesn't show messages

I can normally search for sent and received emails by entering a persons email address in the search field with the spyglass icon, since last week I haven't been able to do this even though all messages show up in the inbox and sent folders. Is there a setting that I might have accidentally changed?
