RSS Services in Arabic language is not working

Hi All,
I have an issue when linking an Arabic RSS content to phone. It gives an error as " Http not found". Specifically speaking,I have tried to pull content from Arabic Website like (Jazeera) but gives the former although rss i supported. Please advice. Thanks

Just hang on. BlackBerry 10 will have multi-lingual support.
After the phones are released, you'll be able to upgrade the PlayBook to BlackBerry 10. No idea exactly when, but RIM have said it will come.
I imagine that most BlackBerry devs are working on BlackBerry 10 and the current Tablet OS team is focused on the next version now.
Doesn't fix it now, but at least it's coming.

Hi All,
I have implemented SAP NW 04 SR 1 Portal and integrated SRM 4.0(EBP 5.0).I have also implemented Business Package for mySAP SRM 4.0 60.2.
I am using internal ITS for HTML GUI.
Some of the iviews of the business packages are working but some of them are not.
I am getting an error message

I have published all the services that are under SICF.
I had also published all the services using w3_publish_services and siac_publish_all_int.
It says that all the services are succesfully published.
When I go to SICf to test the service,some of them are not working.
Can you guys tell me what are the steps that I am missing?

I am also getting the same th_res_free error..
I have installed nw04 sr1 and trying to run ESS on it.
My problem is, i have installed sap WAS 6.4 on different machine and R/3 on different machine..
So now.. where i have WAS.. does not have all the services. All services are there on R/3 server..
Now how do i publish the services on WAS 6.4??
Coz that option to publish on INTERNAL site is not coming on my R/3 (4.7) as it does not have WAS 6.4.. its on different machine.
Please tell me what can be done in this case.
I cant create a R/3 transaction iView using webgui because of this. my Web gui service on WAS 6.4 runs fine whne i test it in SICF .. but not in Iview..
Please help me out .. i dont want to install a ITS on another machine which is simple solution..

What does it mean if my location services are turned on, but not working?

What does it mean if my location services are turned on, but not working? It has always worked before. It is turned on in Settings but when I try to use an app that requires location services, it says they are not on, and the little arrow is not appearing at the top of the screen.

thank you...I tried this immediately after noticing but to no avail. I thought the phone died but I kept seeing the light on so I googled some things and it says it may be watered damaged and I'm not sure how.

Arabic language is not supported

Why RIM didn't support Arabic language in playbook until the moment??
It is disgusting that they're not considering the Arabic users. Although it is available in the their phones, they didn't support it in playbook. I bought my playbook when I thought it is supported. I was disappointed when I found out that Arabic is not supported yet. I've been waiting since then for an update to fix my issue. I hope it is going to be soon. We all are waiting.

" HRRCF_A_UNREG_JOB_SEARCH " service for unregistered candidates is not working

Dear all,
" HRRCF_A_UNREG_JOB_SEARCH " service is not opening the contents of search criteria instead its giving an error message - " You do not have the required authorization to use this application " when trying to open the service directly from SICF in case of unregistered candidates.
Previously it was working properly but suddenly its giving such an error.
we have maintain " RCF_UNREGSER " service user for the particular service and maintained the necessary roles.
Please guide how to resolve the same and as its very urgent for us.

There is an entry in table HRP5102 for the candidate 3978.
In SICF, I have change the Procedure as "Required with logon data" instead of standard then also its not working giving the same error "You do not have the required authorization to use this application".
After search on SAP_RCF_* roles, I got only these many roles. Here no other roles for unregistered candidate.
Please guide me.

Hi Sharat
I see that you have two entries for helvetica font in your uifont.ali. Be aware that order of precedence is alias->embed->subset. If the helvetica part is appearing junk, try and comment out the entry in embed section and let the subsetting happen.
On Solaris, ensure that the case of font file names match.

Oracle Form Services Installation (Test.fmx) Trigger Not working

I install oracle BI and forms Services on oracle application infrastructure after installation i run the following command "http://ora.server.com:7778/forms/frmservlet?config=testfrm" it will show the form "form services install sucessfully" but when i do a certain cusmization on it i.e. put a one text box on that text put put a key_next tigger in which i show a alert message only. After Customization i run a same URL it will again show that form with the changes but the trigger (Key_next) will not fire
I don't understatnd why tigger is not working or fire.

You are running a form and a trigger won't fire. What kind of trigger? A when-button-pressed, or a key-next-item, or something else? I don't believe key_next is a valid trigger.
If you are using a key trigger, you need to make sure that the keys are mapped as you expect. You can see how the keys are mapped in the menu under Help => Keys when you run the form. Make sure the button is mapped like you expect. Additionally, you can modify the mapping by updating the resource file, but that's kind of outside the scope of this...

DARI (Arabic) script does not work in WORD 2004

When I change to AFGHAN DARI in MS WORD I can type the characters (although as other discussions have shown KEYBOARD viewer does not work) BUT they are not joined properly in the words.
i.e. the same form of the character is used whether it is at the start, middle or end of the word. PATHETIC - how would you like to write all English in UPPERCASE??

Yes, throw Word away. MS Office for Mac has no support for Arabic, Hebrew, Devanagari, etc.
All other word processors (except Appleworks) have better support for Arabic than Word does. Mellel is the best. See this note:

I bought an Adobe master colection and choose Arabic language to instal on my macbook Pro.
But I can't type in Arabic, I either get boxes or separated alphabete and when I tried to change the type prefrence there was no arabic languages?
What to do ?help plz

Do a File --> Info on the apps, then disable all alternate languages on the info panel to enforce using a specific one. This should work, if you are on OSX 10.6.5 or below or something liek that. Later versions require to edit the package contents and remove the alternate languages completely. I'm sure a web search will turn up some helpful instructions rather than my mumbling on my fading Mac memories...

Latest update of iWork is bugged - spanish language and not working Charts view in Inspector in Numbers

Latest iWork update ("iWork Update 6", version 9.1) got my Numbers broken. I'm Polish user and I use Numbers in Polish language. After latest iWork Update I can't use Numbers - everything is fine, everything works, everything is in Polish, but...
When I select Charts in Numbers' Inspector it is in Spanish and it does not work at all - looks like broken view/nib/whatever. It is not random - I mean I've installed the update on one Mac (10.6.8) and it is in Spanish, I've installed it on my MacBook and it is in Spanish and I did not installed it on my iMac and it is working! That implicites that the "iWork Update 6" makes Numbers broken (again, not working Charts inpsector pane and Spanish instead of Polish).
However - when I change user language from Polish to English, log out and log in, than run Numbers, everything looks ok - Charts inpector pane is in English and it does work. That is kinda workaround, however this is not a solution!
I tried to install iWork from the CD (so not updated), however it doesn't work either - update must be somewhere hidden in system. I need this repaired, because it makes Numbers unusable and makes my work harder :|

Syndication of attributes in diff. languages is not working.

I have this huge problem with syndicating attributes
We have a material rep. with a taxonomy containing of 2212 attributes mixed in numeric, text, range, logical
The main language is English.
When I set up a port to syndicate a material XML file with local attrib. lang. it can only be syndicated in English, so eventhoug all multilanguage fields are in local language, the taxonomy attributes are locked to English.
We have raised it with SAP, but did not get an answer we can use so far, so I wondered if somebody in here has found a solution or workaround
I know we can split attributes into languages, but not when they are mixed, only text attributes it seems.
What I do today to solve this situation is the following:
1.     log into the local language in syndicator
2.     File > New
3.     select the port
4.     u201Cexecute syndicationu201D
Thatu2019s all I do, but itu2019s manual.
Is there a way to automate this u201Cworkflowu201D via API, Java, Clix, or PI ?
All ports, PI and channels to legacy web portal are in place, I just need to trigger the port in the right language.

The attribute names are not same in both Norwegian and English layers. So in this case I need Norwegian attribute names in Norwegian.
Here I want to add that Attribute name is nothing but just like Field name, if it is carrying the same values as you said I agree the values of numeric attributes are same in all languages. I mean if you want Attribute name in Norwegian it does not matter what Source attribute Name you map whether its in English or Norwegian as here your Target Structure Attribute name really matters. So in this case you should give Attributes name at Target Side in all languages (English, Norwegian) etc and for source you can map clone Attribute fields as i said in my above post. Further as you said, Because I have maintained attribute names in Norwegian language also So similarly you need to maintain attribute names in Norwegian language (and all other languages) in Target structure along with English language and when you get this file from MDM, thus will have attributes name in all languages. So you need to give attribute name in all languages at target side(Destination Items).
e.g. I have two Attributes of Type Numeric languages Eng and Norwegian maintained in MDM.

Color(Clone)-Should map with -->Target Attribute name Farge , So in this way you will have required Attribute name in different languages with same values as Values would be remain same as it is Numeric.

So please try to understand since all in all what matters the attribute Values. For Type Text , you can get Attribute values in different language using Split Multi-lingual and for Numeric you can use Clone or not need at all since values will remain same. So if you want Attribute name in all languages then it should be Target Side(Destination Item) and for Values in different languages it matters at source side(MDM side). I hope you got my point.

Dynamic (session) language setting not working in external ITS v6.20

We have upgraded from ITS 2.0 to 6.20 patchlevel 35. In the service (srvc) file following parameters have been set;
~languages tr, en
~language tr
So we want our users to log on in Turkish (tr) language, but they have to be able to switch to English (en) after the logon.
This could be done in the 2.0 version without any problem using the appropriate querystring like
http://.../~flN0YXRlPTExNTguMDA0LjA0LjA0?~language=en
But it's not possible anymore in 6.20. I have checked the releates notes and forum posts, but still no solution. The intersting point is, we can switch the language at the logon page, but not after the logon page anymore. (following links work :

Has anyone got an idea?

Hello Ozcan,
That is not the correct usage of ~languages and ~language. The ~language parameter is used to specify the language for the service. There should not be a way to change it. The ~languages parameter should specify which languages the user is allowed to select from during logon. Obviously, if ~language is set then the ~languages parameter is of no use.
If it was possible to do what you have specified before then it was not intended.

Consuming Web Services in 11.2 does not work ??

Did anyone manage to call a Web Service from Oracle 11.2 database?
We wanted to call a web service from Oracle, so for example if I execute:
SELECT add_numbers(1, 5) FROM dual;
from my database, I get the result 6.
Cool thing is that the add_numbers function is not in my database, but in a database somewhere in the cloud, and I access the function as a web service.
Oracle provides step-by-step documentation how to do it, but we couldn't make it working by following the docs. It was done on a clean Oracle 11.2 database install.

The main part of the job is to:
1) Load the java classes into the Oracle database by issuing the following command: % loadjava -u sys\<password> -r -v -f -genmissing dbwsclientws.jar dbwsclientdb11.jar
2) Install the UTL_DBWS package into the database (it is not installed by default in 11g):
SQL> @?/sqlj/lib/utl_dbws_decl.sql
SQL> @?/sqlj/lib/utl_dbws_body.sql
We loaded the classes into the SYS user and installed the UTL_DBWS package into the SYS user as well.
3) Create a function that uses UTL_DBWS package to call a web service: http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/10g/utl_dbws10g.php
However, when we tried to run the add_numbers function, it returned an error from the UTL_DBWS package, from the create_service function (line 190), the function returned that the java class that it calls does not exist:

Maybe somebody explain why if I use function create_service(wsdl_Document_Location URITYPE, service_Name QNAME)

LV2012 Web Services w/ NI Auth login not working w/ static files in Firefox 19

When testing it out with my web service it seems to work fine on any web browser. http://localhost:8080/add/add/1/2 first will present a login. Once the user is logged in the page refreshes and the results of the operation are shown. http://localhost:8080/logout works as well.
I followed the procedure in the FAQ to include an index.html file.

When I try to access the page (via http:localhost:8080/add/web/index.html) I'm greeted with the National Instruments login screen. I enter my credentials and in Chrome and Internet Explorer the screen refreshes and I see my html file. In Firefox it hangs for awhile on the authentication screen and then reloads back to the authenticaiton screen (as if the username and password did not take).
Attached are my files. If you want to try and recreate this please follow this procedure:
* Unzip the attached project to a folder
* Open the project in LabVIEW 2012
* Check the properties of the web service to ensure that the build paths are correct
* Follow the procedure above for setting up NI Auth on your web service and adding the "testpermission2" permission. Be sure to remove "Everyone" from that "testpermission2" or you will never see a login prompt.
* Build/Deploy the web service
* open http://localhost:8080/logout to ensure that you are not currently authenticated
* open http://localhost:8080/add/add/1/2 and login, observe behavior
* open http://localhost:8080/add/web/index.html you should still be logged in so you will see the "Hello World!" just fine
* open http://localhost:8080/logout to log back out
* open http://localhost:8080/add/web/index.html and see if you are able to login.
I've tried disabelling my plugins in Firefox and still have this problem. I'm really scratching my head on how to overcome this other than throwing away NI Auth and use something else. My web service is going to run off of a static front end driven by javascript and html. So the access point will be the html file. I need to have some username and password scheme worked out. I also need to be able to see what user is currently logged in with my Web Service VIs (does anyone know if that is possible with NI Auth)?
The other BIG issue I have with NI Auth is that it requires Silverlight. So much for mobile support, eh? Anyone know of a good plug-and-play alternative so I don't have to reinvent the wheel? I guess I could impliment some kind of token system on my web service side.
In the meantime, getting NI Auth to properly work with Firefox would help.

Disclaimer: I in no way mean to bash NI and I have used NI Auth myself in the past
If you are going to go to the trouble of abstracting NI Auth, I would recommend instead investing your time in your own authentication scheme (or implementing a standard scheme in LV).
NI Auth is great and works for low security applications where you just don't want people fooling around with your application who shouldn't be.
However, NI Auth is really not that secure. If I remember correctly, the username is transmitted in plain text and I don't think the encryption algorithm is that sophisticated. It is nice that it's already integrated into LV, but there really are very few features at this time.
If you want something to be really secure, you need to take measures beyond what NI Auth provides and before you go to the work of building abstraction on top of a basic and somewhat shaky protocol, I'd seriously consider implementing a more stable base.
