Rule for Adoption Pay in UK payroll

Hi All,
Need your help to solve an issue.
My Business Scenario: Need to calculate an adoption pay for employee based on Average Weekly payment of 2 pay periods. I have to pay adoption pay for an employee only for 6 weeks. The date from which it has to be start will be in P0088.
Consider the scenario:
01.2014 - 01.01.2014 - 29.01.2014
02.2014 - 30.01.2014 - 18.02.2014
If the adoption pay start date is mentioned in P0088 is 01.01.2014 then it should give the pay based on the avg. weekly salary for 4 weeks on 1st pay period and for the next period it should provide it only for 2 weeks.
For Example:
Avg weekly pay for 4 weeks (based on 2 pay periods): 2250
I came to know that using PCR I can do it. My query is how to write PCR based on date (P0088) and check how many weeks it covered in before period (4 weeks in my first period) and in current period (2 weeks in my 2nd period) .
Note: I am newbie to payroll functional part, it will be helpful if you mention in detail to achieve the scenario. Let me know if you any input.

Hi Giriesh,
unless your customer is doing some really wierd and possible illegal things, writing your own PCRs from scratch is almost certainly leading you into a dead end.
You should build onto the standard functionality of PY-GB for absence schemes. It may even work out of the box with standard config. If you are not familiar with UK absence schemes, it's paramount you familiarise yourself with that topic before taking it any further.
Apologies, if I misunderstood your question, but it sounds to me as if you're trying to solve this without having considered standard absence scheme functionality.

    Perhaps AT&T has learned some from the troubles with iPhone past launches and they are going to try to make the experience better by settings some rules this time around. While AT&T is calling these “rules” guidelines, we think it really is nothing more than an effort to make a success of what the company hopes is one of the biggest tech event launches of the year.
    AT&T stores will receive inventory in time for the actual launch on June 19th. AT&T is already accepting pre-orders online as well as in stores. This change is key this time around because those that choose not to place a pre-order could be left out in the cold. From our understanding, pre-order customers will be given priority.
    The way that it will work is when the AT&T store opens, customers in line will then be split into two lines, with those already having a pre-order placed in one line and those who don’t have a pre-order placed in the other line. Pre-order customers will be able to start receiving their new iPhone 3G S starting shortly after 7 A.M., while those without a pre-order will have to wait until the store’s official regular opening time. Upon the actual regular opening time of the store, the two lines will then be merged into one line again. Apple retail stores will also be an option as they will open at 8 A.M. on launch day, but only those that pre-order from the Apple retail store will actually be able to pick up their phones early.
    As for the pricing, current AT&T customers that have had a contract with AT&T for at least 18 months will be able to get the new 16GB model for $199 or a 32GB model for $299. If you happen to be a current AT&T iPhone owner, but have not gone 18 months on your current contract, you will be able to pick up a new iPhone 3G S but will have to pay between $399 to $599, depending on how much time is left on your current contract and whether you want the 16GB or 32GB model. From what we understand, you will have to agree to another 2-year contract to get the iPhone 3G S this time around.
    The only actual possible loophole in this deal is to cancel your current AT&T contract and pay the $175 early termination fee and then wait three months. After the three months have lapsed, you can return to AT&T and then get new customer pricing, which would save you $225, but you have to endure a three-month wait.
    While the pricing and the options might make some AT&T customers unhappy, it is what it is. The bottom line is that the iPhone is still so hot, AT&T knows that people will pay what it takes to sport the new version if they are a big iPhone fan. According to our sources, AT&T should have enough inventory to more than cover the pre-orders, but beyond the pre-orders it is difficult to say if they will be able to meet the demand on launch day for additional units. Our advice is that if you want to have one on launch day, you had better get your pre-order in soon.

    I believe if you are a current AT&T Customer and wish to ADD a new phone to your account you will be able to get the new 16GB model for $199 or a 32GB model for $299. I went through

    and selected "Add a new line to my existing account" and was shown pricing as $199 for 16 GB and $299 for 32 GB.
    Hard to see this as any benefit unless you need an additional line on an existing account, which I happen to (I bought a new "additional line" 3G just before the 3GS was announced, and will fit into the "return" window)

    How should I approach to write a report which gives employees net pay, gross pay and cost center  for a pay period?
    Do i have to use cluster tables?

    Unless you store your payroll results in Infotypes then yes you would have to retrieve this information from the PCL2 Cluster. The Cost Center information would come from the WPBP table and the Gross and Net Pay from the RT table.

    First of alll you have to check the configuration part in the basic pay ( PM>PA>Payroll Data> Basic Pay> Check Wgetype Charateristics. There you can find one screen where you have to modify the indirect valuation module according to the requirements. Then come to PA30 and enter IT0008 for some person and check.

    If you wish to pay advances through payroll then you are customising the table V_T702N_A and this pays advance through payroll and then after trip is settle, retro active accounting is triggered and advance is deducted from expenses which are settled through accounting.
    Check the IMG documentation for neccessary customising entries.
    Payroll integration is handled through feature TRVPA in PE03 and you can check the documentation here also.

    How can i setup Enhanced Retro for Global HR International.
    Iam implementing HR/Payroll on latest 12i. I am using HR International.
    when i execute the following query , there is no records

    I have created events, event groups, enable dynamic triggers for my business group and legislation(IQ) and enter the corresponding event group and retro element in the Element screen(retro component).
    And i update one allowance in the back period , and I found one row has been inserted in pay_process_events table. But i am not able to run enhanced Retro Notification report and not able to find any Enhanced Retro concurrent request.
    Any one have any idea?

    There are no specific concurrent programs for Enhanced/Advanced retropay. The old ones still do, and derive under the hood the method of retropay.
    I do not recall by hard the setting to activate enhanced retro (but it is a legislation rule), but it should show already in the element type screen. If you have the retro tab in the screen, and first you have to specify the method (Adjustment, ...) before specifying the retro element type (and time span), then you know that enhanced retro is configured correctly.

    We will be demonstrating features at Oracle OpenWorld, but you may recall that SQL Developer 2.1 was not production for that last year, so we have a lot to show.
    Unfortunately we are bound by Oracle policy and may not release any dates.

    but not any type classification for :John (i.e. no match for {:John rdf:type ?t})
    Assume you add the following triple according to the rule you described
    (:John <hasType> "false")
    Now, what happens if :John is classified as a :Person (or :Parent, :Father),
    do you want to withdraw* :John <hasType> "false"?

  • Pay expense through Payroll

    Hi all
    Our cusomer has a requirement to pay expenses for volunteers. I am just looking at a feasible solution for volunteers to pay expenses through payroll. Volunteers are not employees and not paid any salary. They are only entitled to claim their expenses. Customer is looking at completely automated solution for claiming expense. I am thinking of the following approach to pay expense for Volunteers.
    To my understanding, we cannot process any payment without having valid person & active assignment.
    Create Person record with user person type as Volunteer (system person type is Employee).
    Create assignment with Volunteer payroll run weekly/biweekly frequency. Assignment would have organization, Location & Supervisor. We can also capture bank details in payment method.
    Create a new element "Expense Reimbursement" which is non-taxable & non-niable. We can have multiple elements if there are different types of expenses.
    Configure an EIT to capture expense amount against expense element in self-service by volunteer and submit it for approval to manager.
    Custom program to move the eit entries to element entries.
    Do payroll process to pay approved expenses to volunteers.
    Please let me know your view on this. Also suggest me if you there's any better approach to implement this requirement.

    Try with the Contingent as person type..., Once we had scenario like this, we tried for contingent, but management plans to pay via AP, so we leave that plan.

    Yse, you absolutely can. You can add the same card to multiple devices, however depending on bank's risk management rules, if name on tha card doesn't match name on iTunes account, there might be a need for additional authentication ( like s call to customer care). Apple Pay supports up to 99 tokens on the same account and no differentiation whether the token used on the same devbice multiple times or on multiple devices.

How can we handle this subject? Can we change these columns to our needs? How?

    btw, you should check factory Holiday calendar (Tcode: SCAL) and generate Work schedule for year.

    first question ,yes that is exactly what i am done. second question i also have a small  scripts on windows pc to solve routes traffic problem
    route -p delete 0.0.0.0
    route -p add 192.168.9.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.9.1
    route -p add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 192.168.22.0
    but after a while i found scripts is not necessary because windows always attempt to use PPPoE sessions as default internet connection local connection is also ok
    and use  -i pppX in my iptables rules dose not  solve my problem , because same account start PPPoE session could be marked as ppp0 or ppp1. it is hard to identified which account start session.

    I have created a DO and rule for it.In case of Bulk Rule for all definition when i triggere extract from Portal then all the data comes to outbound queue but when i define rule for Device attribute then no data comes to my Outboun queue.Here is the scenario what i am doing :
    1. I have order header in my backend which has a field named "Work_Center" and this will be criteria field.
    2. In CDS table i have all the records for all the work center.
    3. Now in RMM under customized , i have added an attribute named "Work_center".
    4. Now i defined a rule with Device attribute mapping and activated the rule.
    5. Now on Portal i assigned this data object and in the device attribute tab i assigned the value(this value exist in CDS table for few orders) of a   Work center to the attribute "Work_Center" .
    6. Then i triggrere extract but its Outbound queue is empty, what could be the reason.
    Is my approach is correct

    You can check one ore thing, after you have performed all the steps till step 5, i.e. just before triggering
    extract. Check if the AT table for ur DO has entries based on the criteria specified by you...
    1. In the workbench click on the Data Object, and then right click and select "View Metadata".
    2. Select Distribution Model tab.
    3. Now select your DO's Association table.
    4. For the input field DEVICE ID specify your corresponing device id,and also for status field specify it 
        as "I"  and execute
    If there are any entries now in the AT table, and on triggering extract if they are not coming to the
    outbound Q there is some EXTRACT Q blocked. And is there were no entries in the AT then the rule
    specified is not  the satifying.

    I have the following requirement need help in achieving this.
    Employers must grant 10 days paid leave to employees that worked for six consecutive months from the time of hiring and who worked on not less than 80 per cent of all schedule work days. This paid leave may be taken consecutively or separately. Where an employee's application to take paid leave will hinder the normal business operations, the employer may require the employee to take such paid leave at a different time.
    The number of days of paid leave available to employees increases in proportion to employees' length of service as set forth in the below table.

    Paid Holidays         10    11  12   14    16    18    20
    The right to annual paid leave expires after two years. In other words, annual paid leave left over from one year may be carried over and taken the next year only. For example, if an employee is awarded 10 days paid leave after their first 6 months of employment; those paid holidays will become invalid after 2.5 years of employment. Use them or lose them.
    Simply put, holidays from one year can be carried over to the next year, but not to the third year. So, if you don't take your leave from one particular year within 12 months of that year ending, you will lose that first year's allowance.
    Employee can take leave encashment of holiday leave only when leaving their employer. It is not legal for companies to buy up the holiday leave of those still working for the firm.
    In my organization one PSG grouping has been used for all countries, it wont be possible to change the grouping now. In such a case how can we provide different rule for different country without customizing the Leave module.
    Do we have to use any PCR for this, if yes which??

    Use QUOMO Feature to give different entitilement to employees.
    Leave entitlement as per seniority can be configured in base entitlement.
    Keep validity and deduction period for 2 years by using :Relative postion" option in validity and deduction period table.

    i have trouble setting up nat and access rule for webserver located in inside network.
    I have asa 5505 version 7.2 and it has to active interfaces, inside 192.168.123.0 and outside x.x.x.213
    Webserver has ip 192.168.123.11 and it needs to be accessed from outside, ip x.x.x.213.
    I have created an static nat rule with pat (as an appendix) and access rules from outside network to inside interface ip 192.168.123.11 (tcp 80) but no luck.
