Running Oracle10g Enterprise on Linux getting "Sound server fatal error"

Hi,
When i run Oracle 10g Enterprise Manager on linux machine,am getting below error frequently
Error Message "sound server fatal error,cpu overload,aborting"
Do u have any idea wt will be the cause and how to avoid that error

got it fixed. turns out that somehow during either my installation or someting i did after installation corrupted my liscense file for CF. Uninstalled (with a lot of hesitation) and re-installed, and wallah, my cf server is running great!

A number of word(s) ineed do appear, however it is not possible to select any of them as ws possible as mentioned in olders versions.

Getting - Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0126'

I get the following error when applying the upload function
to my already made form.

"dwzUpload/DefineVariable.asp" location is:
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\sitename\dwzUpload.
So it's located in the site root, inside the dwzUpload
folder.
I am currently running the site on my local machine with
IIS7.
I don't get an error if I remove the 'upload' function on the
site, but the site needs to offer upload of image files. Not sure
where to go to from here.

I can not re-install/ update apple iTunes on my HP PC running Win7-64. I get a registry key error when installing and am asked to make sure I have access. IT is a home PC with one user and I have admin priveledges.

When the updater notified me of an iTunes update, I selected the update option. The update failed and killed the version I was running. I have tried for a year to fix the problem without sucess. I can't completely remove all Apple products. I can not install any apple products especially iTunes which is the only one I am interested in.
When I install iTunes now I get a registry key error similar to this:
I am using a machine where I am the only user and am the Admin. I have looked at the security settings on this key and see nothing wrond with it or the parent keys. I tried removing all apple products but ran into similar problems. At this time I still have Bonjour. Mobile Device Support, Software Update, and Application Support installed.

These ones are tricky. But the following instructions are worth a try.
First do a complete uninstall of iTunes and related components (but don't reinstall just yet), as per the following document:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
a. Launch regedit (Start >> Search Programs and Files >> type Regedit and open the regedit that comes up.)
b. Access the following Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData \S-1-5-18\Components
c. Perform the following actions
i. Right Click on Components Folder
ii. Select Permissions
iii. Select Full Control and Read Permissions options
iv. Select Advanced Button
v. Select Owner Tab
vi. Select to Change Owner to the Administrators
vii. Check the option “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects”
viii. Select OK when prompted that it may not change all.
ix. Select Apply
x. Select Apply again
xi. Exit the Registry Editor
Now try reinstalling iTunes again. Does it go in properly this time?

Cannot get mail, server unavailable error message n my Yahoo account only, but not on others

Although I have no problem getting hotmail and other yahoo account messages, my PRIMARY email account has been returning an error message "Cannot get mail, server unavailable". But my server is working just fine for everything else except my main yahoo account. Could anyone shed some light on this for me? Thank you all!!

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Getting XML-32000: (Fatal Error) when using xml.jar of jaxb in jdeveloper 9

I am trying to use jaxb in jdeveloper 9 to create java objects from an xsd. Any help would be really appreciated.
I tested the below example with jdeveloper10 and it worked fine as jaxb was introduced in jdeveloper 10 by providing xml.jar.
I need to use jdeveloper 9 in my project and jdeveloper 9 doesn't have xml.jar. I copied the xml.jar and xmlparserv2.jar from jdeveloper 10 to jdeveloper9. Created a build script to generate the java files for test.xsd.
The build script works in jdeveloper 10 but gives the following error in jdeveloper 9:

You can not simply swap arround jar files from jdev 10 to jdev 9. You then are also using an entirly different jdk and there probably are some dependencies on it. Will it work if you try to run ant from outside jdev and using a 1.5 jdk?

Trying to link SharePoint 2010 Enterprise with SharePoint 2013 Search Server raises error

I am currently working for a multinational who has SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition installed, 2 WFE SERVERS, 3 APP SERVERS, 1 DB SERVER. They also installed SharePoint 2013 Exterprise recently.
 Microsoft have recently come in and set up the SharePoint 2013 Search Server to crawl content in SharePoint 2010 as the replacement search to SharePoint 2010 Search. So they have gone through process of certificates and permissions
setups I guess. I was told it was working, but recently failed. When I type in the search box on a web site for SharePoint 2010 I get the message:
 The search request was unable to connect to the Search Service.
I checked the Event log and the Critical error (in Task Category:Timer) I get is the notorious:
The Execute method of job definition Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.CrawlReportJobDefinition (ID fa882704-80d9-415b-9b9d-eae5e9bdefd4) threw an exception. More information is included below.
 The search service is not able to connect to the machine that hosts the administration
 component. Verify that the administration component 'e9172a05-22ec-4904-9508-
 e5431a180c2b' in search application 'Search_Service_Application' is in a good state and
 try again.
I know administration component is the crawler. I am assuming this is permissions.
The SharePoint 2013 Search Server is picking up SharePoint 2010 site collections items fine i.e. The SharePoint 2013 search shows items from 2010 as expected.
On the SharePoint 2010 central admin box the search service enabled and running (checked with powershell). (SharePoint Server Search 14)
The Search Service id: e9172a05-22ec-4904-9508-e5432a180c2b
I also get the message in event log for gatherer on SharePoint 2010 CA and Search Server:
 Could not access the Search database. A generic error occurred while trying to access the database to obtain
 the schema version info.

Is this permissions to delete something from crawler??????

It was a case that someone had fiddled with the Service App Associations. Hadn't ticked SharePoint 2013 search. Was still point at 2010. Thanks.
The SharePoint 2013 Search works correctly for SharePoint 2010.
Can someone confirm that the Search Service Application on SharePoint 2010 still needs to exist and hence SharePoint Server Search 14 Service still needs to be running? I am guessing it would as you search from 2010 interface not 2013. I am getting a critical
error in the Event Viewer:
CrawlReportJobDefinition (Id <SharePoint 2010 Crawler>)
The search service is not able to connect to the machine that hosts the administration component. Verify that the administration component <crawler id> in search application "Search Service Application" is in a good state and try
again.
I think this is related to the fact we have SharePoint 2013 doing the search instead of 2010.
Any ideas?

Coldfusion 8 on linux virtual dedicated server 500 error

I've been trying to get my coldfusion server running on my virtual dedicated server for two days now and am stumped. Server boots and connects to the apache server with no error messages displayed in SSH, but when I go to the administrator page I get the following error displayed :
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Why do I keep getting a server connection error?!

I've installed Digital Editions, but every time I try to authorise my pc it says there is a connection error and it couldn't connect to the activation server. My internet connection is working fine, I've disabled my pop-up blocker, ad blocker, mcafee and allowed Digital Editions through the firewall. Why isn't it working?

As I said, I'm definitely connected to the internet. I've added DE to the programmes allowed through my firewall, turned off the pop up blocker and temporarily disabled mcafee, but the error message still keeps popping up.
I'm using Windows 7. Any ideas?!

We cannot know. You are not providing enough info like what version of Windows you are actually on, what version of Acrobat and so on. Failure to communicate via DDE means that something on your windows install is wrong, but we realyl cannot know based on your vague info...

Sound server error after upgrading / removing hotplug

when i did my last update i got the message
udev conflicts with hotplug
i then answeres yes when i was asked to remove hotplug (and diabled it in rc.conf)
and now i get
Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such file or directory)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.
and the sound isn't working anymore.

Same behaviour here. I'm using a Macbook 13.3 fresh updated to 10.5.6. The system hangs after wakeup, returning no login window. I need rebooting to take the control. Any issues?
