Safari 7.1 When I click a hyperlink (to another site) I am taken to Safari's Top Sites page instead

I am using OSX 10.9.5 with Safari 7.1.
I have tried resetting Safari, restarting. It happens repeatedly. Does anyone have this issue and found a solution?

1. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
    Turn those off and relaunch Safari again.
    Turn those on one by one and test.
    AdBlocK?
2. If adware is installed without your knowledge,
    download free AdwareMedic by clicking “Download ” from here

   Install , open, and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button   to remove adware.
   Once done scanning and removing the adware, quit the app by clicking AdMedic in the menubar

Your first statement explains the second statement. To use the German iTunes Store, you need to prove that you're a resident of Germany (that is required by the content owners who will not allow cross-border sales) and the only way Apple can provide such a verification is by requiring that you enter in either a German credit card or a German-purchased iTunes prepaid card. Since I presume the former is not a possibility, you'll need to do the latter if you wish to purchase content from the iTunes Store. Again, this is not Apple's choice but is forced on them by the content owners as a requirement for Apple being allowed to sell the content. The EU is working on regulations that would force the content owners to allow access pan-EU, but that's still in the works.
You do not need an iTunes Store account to activate and run your iPad, though; at least, I didn't need one for either of my two iPads. If you only want to set up an account so you can get free iPad apps, take a look here:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is apparently critical. This seems to come and go, or only apply to App Stores in specific countries, so you may not see the option for "None" when asked for a payment type.

It sounds like your computer may be infected with some sort of a virus / Malware.
I suggest the following resources:

Double check for all Windows Updates.
Also, I noticed you have the coupon printer installed. I would go to Start, Control Panel, then programs and features and uninstall the coupon Printer from inside there. It can cause some problems with Firefox.
If you are still having problems with Malware after that, I would recommend either [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/ http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/], or having your computer cleaned by a professional.

Firefox does not load the website when clicking a hyperlink in another program

I am using Firefox 5.0.1 in Snow Leopard 10.6.8. When I click on a hyperlink in another program, Firefox launch but show me a blank page, instead of the web page of that hyperlink. This only happen if Firefox is not launched prior to clicking the hyperlink. This mean, if I am already using Firefox (Firefox is opened) and I click on the hyperlink in other program's document, Firefox will launch that web page. Is there any setting that I need to do?

Here the envNames contains a list of values which will be displayed dynamically like

So when i click a particular envname say Env1, i need to pass this value as a query string to another envView.jsp. So that for that particular Env1, i can display the related data.
So, my ques. is how to get the particular envname which is been clicked (href)?

Pass it as a GET parameter. The 'envNames' is already available to you inside that loop where you create links.

When i click on one particular bookmark it opens in a window in the same browser page that is open but on the left side so that I have two dirfferent urls open

I think i've found how to fix this issue when it appears. Don't know what caused it to happen, but that's up to the devs.
In Thunderbird, you need to re-register http and https to make them open with Firefox (or open well with firefox in this case).
How to to this?
Well... open the about:config in thunderbird. You can achieve this by clicking configuration-editor in the advanced tab.
search for the strings: network.protocol-handler.warn-external.https and network.protocol-handler.warn-external.http. Set both to "true".
The next time you click on a link from within Thunderbird, it will ask you to set wich program you'd like to open it with.
Be Aware now!!! Firefox may already be listed in there, but don't pick that one. instead... choose to browse for the app and point to the binairy/exe of firefox.
(for example: /usr/bin/firefox or c:/program files/mozilla/firefox.)
You will notice that firefox now does open up with the page you just clicked on.
If it doesn't right away... just restart thunderbird and check again.
Please respond if this works for you too on all platforms. It's more interesting to know it does than if it's not.

When I click a link within a site, Firefox connects me to a blank screen instead of to the page/document I was trying to get to. Why?

Let me give you examples:
1. The USAA website told me to click a link to get my new insurance card. With Firefox, I was delivered to a blank page; with Safari, to my new insurance cards.
2. Within my bank's website, I clicked the tab to get a statement. Firefox delivered me to a blank page.
3. The email from the soccer association said click to register. Firefox delivered me to a blank page; Safari brought me to the registration page.

This can happen if the disk cache isn't enabled (see about:cache) or otherwise the page isn't in the cache.
If possible then try to open that video in a new tab with a middle-click on the link or via the right-click context menu.<br />
Then you can close that tab instead of using the Back button to go back to that page.

When i click a button the webpage doesn't load... and sometimes the whole pages goes white and just shows words on the far left...

When I click on the App Store I can only see "games" at the top of the screen, I can't see any Apps?

Recently I have noticed that when I click on the App Store on my iPad it defaults to "games" at the top of the screen and I can't see any new apps? Previously it defaulted to Apps and you had to chose "games" but now it seems to default to games and I don't know how to view apps without searching for the specific one?

I am surely missing something very simple, and hopefully Ralph will see it, but no matter what I do, I cannot replicate what you are seeing, try something I recommend time and again. CLose the App Store app and reboot your iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the App Store app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
