Sales area and Pricing

Hi
I have an issue where we have worked with few sales areas and different pricing procedures, Now we have to bring all sales areas to one sales area and different pricing procedures to one pricing procedure. Please throw some light on this issue where I can have some solution.
Thanks in Advance,
Kanna Palle.

Hi Kanna,
In my point of view pricing are recorded in condition record.
so if you want to combine all the pricing procedure then i dont this so this is possible.
What you can do is create new pricing procedure and add all the condition types which are active.
so that you can get the pricing procedure of your requirement.
hope so this might work but i dont know how to combine pricing procedure.
And if you want to combine your all sales area to one sales area
then you can use combine sales organisation and combine distribution channel process.
you need to create new sales organistion and distribution channels
and do the assignment of both these with one division.
then go to VOR1 and VOR2 to combine all your sales area to one sales area.
hope so this might work for sales area combination.
please post your reply whether it works or not.
regards
Raj.

  • Material wise Sales area and customer master

    Hi,
Suppose I have a plant 4002, if i want to see all the material of plant 4002 then i can see those to following MM60 transaction code but if i want to see a particular material and that material is belongs to which sales area and which customer master then how it could be possible .

    Hi,
You cannot see a material on customer basis unless it's MTO scenario, still try in t-code MB52.
Otherwise try in table level as suggested above.

  • Sales Area and Sales document type

    Hi Professionals,
I like to clarify if the following is correct:
    1. Sales Area Must Be assigned  to Sales document type.
    regards
    John

    Hi John,
    1. Sales Area Must Be assigned to Sales document type
-as far as the logic for this goes ,
its main relevanmce  is to limit the sales document type to the sales area is that the end user does not create a sales order ,
for another sales area in your sales document let for ex-
there is a sales area for whole sales and one for retail.
now you have configurerd the ywho sales doc type for whole sales- sales area and yret for retail sales area.
now if the user creates the ywho sales order in retail sales area there will be process related problems for despatch guys so in order to limit this error and hassle, there are the ales area specific sales document types and can be configured as earlier told by gurus

  • Sales area and sales doc

    Hi
how can I configure the system where all sales document type can be allowed for all the sales area. and this means i dont require to assign sales area and sales doc type into OVAZ.

    Hi
    Yes, you are right.
Check the img activity documentation in SPRO under "Assign Sales area to sales doc types".
Assign Sales Area To Sales Document TypesI
n this menu option, you allocate the allowed order types to each sales area group.
You do not need to make any entries at all if all the sales order types are allowed for each of your sales areas.
If you wish to check allowed sales document types, you must set up common sales areas. This means you must define common sales organizations, common distribution channels and common divisions. If, for example, you have define common divisions, then you must also define common distribution channels and sales organizations.

  • Table to retrieve sales orders per sales area and BP name

    hi,
I am looking for tables or reports where I can retrieve business transactions base on per sales area and / or BP's ex. name of the BP's.
the crmd_order_index contains BP number but it contains both header and items of the orders, is it possible to find the total amount of header grouped by BP in SAP Query ?
    Thank you.

    Hi Jerome,
I think you can use the table CRMD_ORDER_INDEX. Just that records that have same header and item guid are related to header and the ones that have different item guid and header guid are related to item.
    Or am I missing something?

  • Customer Master Definable Attributes to Sales Order and Pricing

    Hello,
I have a requirement to set a customer master flag using freely definable attributes.  I am planning to use KNA1-KATR10 from the GENERAL Customer Master data.  We do not want the flag to be sales area specific.  The flag will be on the ship to customer.
I need to determine how to copy this flag into the sales order and then also to ensure that this field is available for evaluation in a pricing requirement routine.
How do i accomplish this?  An alternative would be to use the Customer Grp fields , KNVV-KVGR1 but i am guessing the process would be similar.
    Best Regards

If you want to save Katr10 to the order, you will have to
    1. Append new fiield to VBAK within an append structure like zzvbak.
    2. Retrieve Katr10 and move to VBAK in MV45afzz form userexit_move_field_to_vbak.
    3. Append new field Katr10 to pricing communication structure komk in include komkaz.
    4. If you retained Katr10 as field name then you are done since there is a move corresponding from vbak to komk, if not you need to move this to komk in MV45afzz form userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomk.
The field will now be populated and available in your pricing requirement routine. Hope this helps.

  • Relation between sales area and Taxes

    Dear All,
I have come across an issue wherein for the customer, the Excise duties and Sales Tax flows in one Sales Area but does not flow if created in another. The Sales Org is different in both Sales Area, the material sold is same.
Can anyone highlight where the problem should be or is there any customisation left out which needs to be set for the values to flow.
    Thanks & regards,
    Karthik.

    Dear All,
Thanks for you inputs.  The issue is solved.
The reason for the issue was that the user had not maintained the Deletion indicator for the Condition type JECS and JA1X due to which the system was not fetching the data from the Tax procedure via Tax Code. i.e. the Condition type in pricing procedure overwrites the value determined from the Tax procedure.
Since these conditions are maintained at the Sales Organisation level the value was flowing in one Sales area whereas not in other.

    Karthik.

    Hi,
I have one material for which i need to extend the material to different distribution channels, divisions and account assignment groups in this case can i extend one material to different sales areas as mentioned above or i need to create one more material with same material master data except the sales view data?

  • 3 sales area and single customer- reg

If we have 3 sales area & single customer, how to extend one customer to 3 sales area? asked by IBM.
    solutions are highly appreciated!
    regards
    KR

    hi
For example u have 3 sales areas as
1000 sales organization 00,01 and 02 are respective distribution channel and division
    1000/00/00
    1000/01/01
    1000/02/02
First u have a customer by number 1000 in 1000/00/00 sales area
now goto XD01 create customer centrally
    Specify the account group
specify the customer number number for whom the data has to be exetended
    specify the company code
specify the new sales area in the above case it is 1000/01/01 and 1000/02/02
in the refernce fields specify the same customer number1000 and the sales area like 1000/00/00
like this you have to extend the customer to all the required sales areas

  • Difference between Blanket sales agreement and pricing agreement

    Hi guys
I wasted hours the other day trying to get a blanket sales agreement number in the 'agreement' field on order management. Just to learn that there's two types of agreements in OM and it seems like there's some sort of overlap.
Can someone please give me a few functional tips of key indicators of when to use which.
Similarities between Blanket & Pricing agreements:
    - Both can fix payment terms
    - Both can have new pricing implications (set a new price other than existing pricelists)
Differences between blanket & pricing agreements:
I tried to read the manual for OM and Pricing but the pricing agreement was a bit short of a nice introduction explaining what it was. I was hoping it would read something like this: You go to your customer, you agree the following and therefore you need a pricing agreement.
    Thanks!

    Ah,
It struck me that hte most obvious difference is that sales agreements track the amount/qty of releases against that agreement. So the whole release process is some functionality that sales agreements can do that price agreements can not do.
So I'm wondering what can you achieve with a pricing agreement that you cannot achieve with a sales agreement?

  • All the pricing conditions are not visible for a given sales area, material

    Hello All,
There is a customized screen with sales area(Sales org, distribution channel and division), material and sold to party. There is buttton when we click it has to display the pricing conditions. The problem here is it is not displaying all the conditions some conditions like ZB02 and MWST are missing. The Function module used is PRICING.
Whereas in VA03 tranaction for a sales order created with this sales area, material it is showing all the conditions for a item.
Please help me to solve this issue.
    Many Thanks,

    Hi
The BP's created for one particular sales area are not getting replicated into CRM, though before sometime it was happening.
DJ>>  Hope the required sales area is available in CRM.
The BP with the "general data", and "role of sold to party" only flows but not with the sales area. There is no BDoc error in the SMW01 either. While displaying BP for the role of sold to party, it shows "Sold-to-party(maintained)" but the sales area entries though maintained for this sales area in the ECC, do not flow to the CRM.
DJ>> Please check the following -
    1. Create a BP in CRM (with the sold-to party role) with the required Sales area and see if this customer when replicated to ECC has the relevant Sales Area.  Ideally it should get replicated if all you middleware settings are fine.
    2. See you have not set a filter for a specific Sales Area and becuase of that BP is getting replicate but not the sales area.
    Hope this will help
    Regards

  • Different pricing procedure in sales order and invoice

    Hi All,
I have created a new pricing procedure .When i processed it,in sales order its picking the correct PP. but when I check it in excise invoice, its taking other pricing procedure. Where have i missed the settings. Please help

    Hi,
We have document pricing procedure maintained at two levels for Sales order or Billing type.
The pricing procedure is determined based on SAles Area Customer pricing procedureDocument Pricing procedure+pricing procedure.
Example :For Sales Document type the document pricing rpocedure will be A and for billing type 'B"
    Sales Area1A+Pricing procedure A
    Sales Area1B+Pricing procedure B
Now A will be maintained in VOV8 and B will be maintained in VOFA.So two pricing procedures.

  • Difference between business area and sales area

    Hi
I am swetha i have one doubt
    1) what is the buisiness area and what purpose we use the business area
    2)  what is sales area and what purpose we use the sales area
3)what is the main Difference between business area and sales area.
    Regards
    Swetha

    Hii..
Business Areas in SAP are used to differentiate transactions originating from different points/lines/locations in business. Let me give some examples to elucidiate:-
A company (say, ABC) is a huge company and has a variety of businesses under it. Let us say that it typically operates in 3 different domains like machinery manufacturing, trading and assembling of machine parts.
There are 2 options here now -
    1. Either create different company codes for the 3 business operations (which would be the easiest and require no creativity)
    or
2.) Create each of these business lines into business areas (the better option).
The advantages of using the second option is:
    1. You can use these business areas if other company codes require the same areas
    2. The configuration is simpler as in case of company code, you would require to go through the entire configuration of creating Chart of Accounts, Fiscal Year variants, posting periods variants and so on. In the business area option, you just need to attach it to the company code and the rest of the details in Business area is attached by default from the company code you are using it in.
    3. Using the options in controlling (EC-PCA, Enterprise Controlling, Profit Centre Accounting), you can even draw up Balance Sheets and PL statements for your business areas and hence this is used for management accounting in some companies (like HP, Dell, etc) when it wants to know the operating profits for different business areas/lines.
The above was an example when the company wanted to separate entries according to the lines it operates in... the other case could be when it wants to find out profitability during its operations in cities and differentiates these cities into Business
    Areas...
Business Areas are not much relevant in FI but are much more relevant in CO.
    Hope this clears.
    What is mySAP SD?
The SAP sales and distribution is part of the logistics module that support your customers, starting from quotations, sales order and all the way towards billing the customer.  It is tightly integrated with the MM and PP functional modules.  It allows companies to input their customer sales price, check for open orders and forecast etc.
The most important basic functional features in the sd module are:
    - Pricing                                           - Availability Check
    - Credit Management                       - Material Determination
    - Output Determination                     - Text Processing
    - Tax Determination                          - Account Determination
