Sales Block for order whose quantity exceeds % of available stock on hand

Hello gurus,
I am wondering if there is standard SAP functionality that could enable the following scenario:
For a material in material group XYZ, if a sales order is entered that exceeds 50% of stock on hand, a delivery block is placed on the order.  If a sales order is entered that is under 50% of stock on hand, no delivery block is placed on the order.
The number 50% is arbitrary and would be specified based on the material group.  As well, this can be based on the material.  I'm hoping there is configuration out there that would block the delivery creation if an item on the sales order exceeded a pre-defined % of available, unrestricted stock in the plant.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Andy,
Let me summarise ur question - You have Material - A, B & C all of them belonging to a particular Mat. Group lets say - 444. Lets think if the stock of all the Materials - A, B & C is 100 CS's.
When a Sales order is created for Material - A for Quantity of 60 CS - You want a Delivery block.
If my understanding is yes, I think the requirement is too complex, but achiviable.
Because -
- If this can be achived its possible with only User exits, but the requirment is linked with Availability,
- If we want to implement this in the Save user exit, the code has to go check the stock in availability and if the conditions are met needs to block the delivery,
- you need to consider the stock situations as the re-scheduling will also be happening in the background,
- Wht would happen if there are more than 1 material entered and both are different Material grounps. [Need to consider this scenario as well]
Instead of Delivery block - You can implement the changes to Reject the line if the % crosses. That is reason for rejection. As this is more specific to line item.
Create a Z* table and update it with the Material groups that you are planning to use. And give the %.
Implement the code changes in the Save user exit in MV45AFZZ to check this table for each material group and validate it and then compare the Ordered Quantity with the available stock of that material. Not sure though from where you want to get the stock figures.
I tried, but this might be a start. All the best.
Thank you,
Chaitu...

  • MIRO - Blocking reason: order price quantity

    Dear all,
In the line item of a imcoming invoice (MIRO), I found the item is blocked due to "order price quantity".
In the F1 document of this field "Blocking reason: order price quantity", the explanation is "Specifies if the invoice item is blocked due to order price quantity variance." However, it's still a little hard for me to understand. Can anyone help me?
    Thank you so much.
    Christina

    Hi
This is due to variance in GRdoc and MIRO value. Please check the value and quantity ordered and received of GRN and MIRO.
You can remove this block via MRBR transaction.
You also can set tolerance for these vatriances, in GRN you can provide the tolerance limit.

  • WM - TR & Open quantity reduced by available stock

    Dear All,
    The problem is:
PrdOrds were released, TRs were generated and partially delivered (processed). After that inventory (stock counting) took place.
Having finished the inventory we wanted to process the partially delivered TRs (LB10 > 'TO in foregr.') but SAP set the 'selected qty' in LT04 to 0 and gave the message: "Open quantity reduced by available stock" .
We use dynamic bins, and all TOs have been confirmed. I've checked (in LT22) and I've found that the necessary quantities haven't been fully supplied for the dynamic bins of PrdOrds.
Why SAP considers the quantities fully supplied? What is the reason? (During the inventory no differences were booked for the related materials) Shouldn't we create inventory doc. for dynamic bins?
    Thanks,
    Csaba

    Hi Jürgen,
    Thanks for your reply.
This is the short history of this issue:
    1.
total TR quantity was 30 pcs (originally)
    2.
partially delivery, TO qty 16 pcs (TR reference)
    3.
inventory - no inventory difference for that dynamic bin, qty was 16 pcs both before & after inventory
    4.
problem detected - /WH couldn't process the TR as I said that's why they manually created a TO to post the goods to the dynamic bin/
    5.
partial delivery, TO qty 14 pcs (w/o TR reference)
(after point '4' we tried to process the TR in foreground as I said > problem discussed above. After that I processed it in background > result: TR quantity 30, open qty in TR 0, number of TO items 1 - no TO was generated)
    Thanks,
    Csaba

  • Sales orders with credit issues taking availability stock

    Hi,
I am doing confirmation using Global ATP in APO. The confirmation is well done, but the confirmed quantity for sales orders with clients that have credit issues is taken the available sotck for other sales orders with ok clients that I want to confirm the quantity they ordered.
    For example:
    Stock: 10 PC
Client A order 15 PC and 10 are confirmed, but the ordered is retained becuse of credit issues with client A.
Then client B order 3 PC, but nothing is confirmed because the ordered for client A is reserving the stock (note: this would be ok if client A had not credit issues).
So, I want that the 3 PC for client B are confirmed and the 10 PC not reserved for the cient A while client A has credit issues.
How could I configured, so that the orders with credit issues do not reserve stock for the incoming orders?
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi DB49,
    thanks for the quick answer.
I checked the configuration in the R3 and seems to be fine. To prove it, I disconnect APO and did the availability check in the R3 system and it is working fine; the orders quantities that are blocked because of credit issues, do not reserve stock for incoming orders.........son new incoming orders are well confirmed.
But after connecting APO the problem continues. I checked the next points.
In R3 transaction CO09: takes to the APO screen and you see the ATP available quantity OK (do not consider the quantities of the credit issues orders). But at the moment that you make the order (VA01) it does not confirm any stock and if you select the line and go to the ATP screen (the same you get from the CO09) the quantities of credit issues orders are taken into account..the ATP availability quantity changes from the first going directly from the CO09.
    What could it be?
Note: it was working fine with APO, I started to have the issue after implementing note 1262475 in APO. This note was becuase the BAPI_APOATP_CHECK was not brigning any value for the ATPQTY_***.
    Thanks a lot!!!

  • Overconfirmation-Sum of confirmed quantity exceeds  sum of stock

    Hi,
We have stock for a material but on the CO06 screen cumulated ATP quantity is negative. Although there is only one open sales order.
How can I correct  the problem. Thanks.

    Hello Murat
Negative ATP is a serious condition which might have happened because of a) wrong settings in the scope of check- Example Sales requirements being included in the scope for Deliveries (OVZ9) ,  b) business transactions (e.g. Purchase Orders)  getting postponed/canceled, and/or,  c) bad user practices like frequent manual intervention to unconfirm one order (MRP Element)  to confirm another.
Please review the following OSS notes:
    1) 547118 - FAQ: Result of ATP calculation- Question 4
    2) 153355 - No availability owing to negative ATP quantity
    3) 835219 - FAQ: ATP composite note
    Hope this helps. Thanks.

  • Create item delivery with zero or total quantity (even if available stock)

    Hello!!
My requirement is create a item delivery with zero or total quantity, but not only the stock available at this moment. The item only will have 2 possibilities: 0 quantity or total quantity of the sales order.
    Example of the current process:
    Material M-10: Stock available: 2
M-10: Item in sales order: 6
    M-10: Item in delivery: 2  --> should be 0!!!
    Material M-20: Stock available: 10
M-20: Item in sales order: 5
    M-20: Item in delivery: 5
In M-10, quantity in item delivery should be 0. (my category item delivery allows quantity 0).
Do you know if there is some customizing for this requirement? All quantity from sales order or 0 in delivery item.
    Thanks in advance,
    Jen

    Hi,
    for complete delivery:
    Entering the Indicator
There are two places where you can enter this indicator:
    Customer master record
This indicator belongs to the shipping data for a customer within a sales area. You enter an X in the Complete Delivery field on the shipping screen of the customer master record. The indicator is copied into the order header.
    Order header
You can also enter the indicator X in the Delivery field on the business data screen of the order header.
If you try to partially deliver an order to which you have assigned a complete delivery indicator, the system will inform you that the customer requires complete delivery of the order. All items must be delivered at the same time. The items cannot have different delivery deadlines.
If the system cannot include all the items with the total order quantity in the delivery, you receive a message that the customer requires full delivery.
If you enter the complete delivery indicator X, you must set the partial delivery indicator to C (no partial deliveries allowed).

  • How can config for SNP Aggregate only aggregate demand not stock on hand?

    Dear SCM Expert,
Now we want the system aggregate only demand and not aggregate stock on hand ( Stardard system aggregate both of them) so what i have to do?
    thanks so much.

    Hi
The stock on hand is a calculated key figure. It is calculated based on macros. So you have to write a macro or you can copy the stock balance macro logic from the standard detailed book. In the detailed book no aggregation is done. But to avoid aggregating stock on hand you have to put logic in the macro
    Thanks

  • Remove the exsting extended sales organization for material master

    Hi All,
Could you advice how to remove the existing extened sales organization for a material master?
    e.g.
we have a mateiral A-001 and have extended sales org / distribution channel
    8110  10
    8210  10
and currently we don't want 8210 10 to sell this part, can we disable or remove this sales org / dis channel for this part?
    Thanks,

Go to material master and select Sales: Sales Org. Data 1  view and click on "Organisational levels" tab at the bottom.  Maintain delivering plant, sales organisation 8210 and distribution channel 10 and execute.
There you can see a field "DChain-spec. status" where you assign "01" and save.
Go to OVSU, select "01" and click on blue lens on top so that you will see some list of tabs.  In that maintain "B"  against "Block for order" field and save.
Now try to create sale order for this material from sales organisation 8210 and also from 8110 and you will find that you can create sale order from 8110 and not from 8210.
    thanks

  • Standard Workflow for Logistics invoice blocked for Quality

    Hi friends
    Edd here
I am wondering if there is a standard workflow for invoice verification if the invoice is blocked for QUALITY (not quantity)
i.e. if the Goods have been receipted Movement Type 103, to blocked stock, this should block the invoice.
Is there a standard workflow to pick up this event (RSEG-SPGRC ('Blocking Reason: Quality' = X)
    Thanks and regards
    Edd

There is no standard workflow for Quality, but you can create your custom wrokflow using similar logic what has been used for the Qty workflow.

  • Order multiple quantity in item master data

    Hello experts,
I cannot  import from Excel file new values for order multiple quantity in item master data (in section planning data). After importing I see that  records were imported successfully, but all data which we put in past have been  changed  to zero and planning method is changed from MRP at None. We have 8.81 PL10 (updating at the end of January).
Do you have any similar experience?
    Thank you,
    jonmar7

    Dear JonMar7,
I have done this in SAP 8.8.1 PL08 using the Import/Export under utilities and seems to be normal. I have only chosen Item and Order Multiple for my template.

  • NXT-G block for HiTechnic Servo Controller

I'm trying to track down an NXT-G block for the HiTechnic Servo Controller. My son just purchased the controller at LEGO Ed but hasn't found a block for it. After a lot of searching, we did find a block for the HiTechnic DC Motor Controller ( http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1129/lang/en ) and was hopeful that a similar block for the servo controller would be available somewhere. He has spent quite a few years working with RoboLab and NXT-G with LEGO robots and felt that the combination of the NXT, servo controller, and NXT-G 2.0 control and data logging would be perfect for his project.
    Cheers!

Ok, I made a Sub VI with it, and put together a simple program. When I try to download it to my NXT, it gives me the error "Cannot open a VI because it is password protected."
Any idea on how to fix this?

  • Without exceeding the credit limit sales order is blocked for credit check.

    Dear Experts,
In my production server as well as quality server sales order is blocked for dynamic credit check. But the fact is that the credit limit is not exceeded.only 18% of the credit limit is used by the cutomer. The same problem is there in quality server also.
    Kindly help.
    Best Regards
    Biju

    Dear Biju,
Check whether the customer code has exceeded credit limit in any other credit control area.
    Run the following programs.
    RVKRED77 , RVKRED88 , F.28
After credit re-organisation, please check again and revert back.
Also would like to ask you whether you have made any recent changes in the credit master data [FD32].

  • Incoming orders in COPA not working if Sales Order blocked for Credit Check

    Hi all,
We need to build a report showing all incoming sales order by entry date and/or change date (change of values or quantities later on). COPA allows to do this, but the problem is that COPA line item table is only updated if the sales order is released from credit check (VKM3). I am looking for a solution to be able to record sales orders in COPA even if they are still blocked for credit check. By doing that we will be able to report all sales orders entered from COPA and provide basis for commissions calculation to the business.
I have investigated possible COPA enhancements like COPA0005 but it doesn't seem to be used at the time of sales order save.
    Thanks.

    Hello ,
    Thanks for the reply
As you said , the credit check in the service order is information message "Credit check (maximum percentage for ope
    exceeded)" .
If you enter and come out this message then one more message will come , i.e., "The business transaction can not be carried out" detail message -  System status CNOK is active (ORD XXXXXXX).
with the above message , system will not allow to do the Service order release.
In this particular case , we have done the VKM1 for the sales order to unblock the order from credit check . But again system is checking the credit check at service order (created w.r.t sales order) . we are not able to control this .
we also suggested the solution to the customer , saying removal of credit check for service orders . But customer requires credit check to happen at both the documents.

  • Sales Order Blocked for MRP

    Dear All
i hav a scenario for make to order where sales order created should default block for MRP,only authorized person should release the block
Please suggest how to do this
    Regards

    Hi Sugunan,
You can use default delivery blocks for your requirement.
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Transfer of Requirements - Block Quantity Confirmation In Delivery Blocks - "Deliveries: Blocking Reasons/Criteria".
Here you have the option of creating new entries. For a particular delivery block you have multiple controls as under:
Sales order block - Indicates whether the system automatically blocks sales documents for customers who are blocked for delivery in the customer master.
Confirmation block - With this you can control in addition to blocking delivery, also block the confirmation of order quantities after an availability check during sales order processing. So MRP won't be affected because no requirements will be transferred to MRP even when the sales order is saved.
Printing block - Indicates whether the system automatically blocks output for sales documents that are blocked for delivery.
Delivery due list block - The system does not take a sales document with this block applied into account when creating a delivery due list. You can only create deliveries manually for sales documents with this type of block.
Picking block - block for picking goods in delivery.
Goods issue block - Will not allow goods issue if the block is active.
    1. I would suggest create a new delivery block with a suitable description & only tick on "conf."
    2. Go to VOV8 - select the document type - assign the delivery block.
Now whenever you will create a sales order with the specific document type, the system will propose the delivery block by default for all customers. If you check at the item level - schedule lines, the system will do the availability check. When you save the sales order, the block will function & the system will not transfer the requirements to MRP. Even if you run the MRP using MD50, the system will not generate the planned order.
If you assign the reason for rejection to the sales order item, then the system will show the status of that item as complete. If there is only 1 item in the sales order, then the system will change the status of the whole sales order as complete which is not recommended.
    With best regards,
    Allabaqsh G. Patil.
