Sales Order Generating more than one event when changed

Hey all,
I have to trigger a workflow when a sales order is changed (bus2032.changed) .
The event is triggered when any changes are made and the save button is clicked .
However my problem lies in the fact that the system produces the event not once but 3 times .
I checked if there are any active Badis for this , but none exist. Nor are there any user exits implemented. Therefore extra events could not have been called in the Badi nor the user exits .
Has anybody come across a similar scenario ?
Could anybody shed some light on this ?

First , Where do you set this event trigger per line item ?
Second, I have done no setting in the system and was just checking the event trace . I did this by changing the PO date on the order and saving the Order.
Also, the sales order i have used has a single workitem .

Hi,
Yes it is possible.we can have multiple invoice for a sales order of one line item.
For this we should have order quantity not exceeds billing quantity at the item category level.
Also we have to use teh field Quantity +/- indicator at the copy control level.

Creating Sales Order with more than one Quotations

I have a requirement to create one Sales Orders from multiple Quotations. Can someone tell me how this can be accomplished?
I have all the settings done in SPRO in transactions and Item Category copy controls but the system takes only the data from first quote and ignores the other quotes. We are using SAP CRM 2007

Why does iPhoto (9.0/11) not retain the Event name when exporting more than one event? (using File - Export - Album name with number).

Why does iPhoto (9.0/11) not retain the Event name when exporting more than one event? (using File -> Export -> Album name with number).
Exporting a single Event retains the Event name which is what I'd expect. But highlighting more than one event and exporting it renames the images to Events 001.JPG, Event 002.JPG etc.
I was recently on holidays and had all my events nicely split on Dad's computer but when I went to export it I couldn't retain any of this information. Now I have to replicate this all again on my computer.
It wasn't possible to export the entire library as the external drive was fat32 format an I didn't want all of it. It would be nice to export a bunch of events to someone and have it retain the name.
Does anyone have a work around or will this be fixed at some point by Apple?

Job execution depend on more than one event

Hi gurus,
Does anybody know if there is some way to execute a JOB dependent of more than one event raised?
I have a JOB that need to be executed only when two events are raised.
I have created those events using tCode SM62.

These more complex dependencies cannot be realised in the SAP standard (as far as I know), I assume the events could come in any order, so I have a hard time thinking about a workaround.
You probably need external scheduling software (like TWS or Batchman), or program your own add-on solution.

Workflow generate more than one instnace

I had called my work flow from Module Pool using Event "SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT" and also calling two other event which also working as terminating event in that same work flow which i had called using "SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT_UPD_TAST".. it is not inmy work flow but for all workflow it generate more than one instance..... in our system...
Please give appropriate solution as soon as Possible.....

I wud elaborate on the issue..
Basically I am trying to execute a multilevel approval scenario.
For that I have an initiator of the workflow and multiple approvers (acting one at a time - i.e at single instance, single approver would be available)
When Initiator clickd on 'Send for approval' - command button in module pool, "SAPI_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT" is being called to trigger the workflow.
I have created a business object which will get me the next approver. Here, it happens, at times , that the multiple work items for the same workflow event are being sent to approver's Inbox. (altho' at times it works fine - single work item). Checking the event queue : TCODE : SWEL ; the EVENT INSTANCE IDs are same for all the work item instances.
Later on when the approver executes the workitem (approves/rejects - command button in module pool), again multiple instances are created ( with same event instance ID). Here we are using the function module "SWE_CREATE_EVENT_IN_UPD_TASK".
Althou' things work perfect sometimes, all this happens randomly.

Inreractive Report: Ordering by more than one column

I have a interactive report on an application that i have built. I have been asked whether it is possible to order by more than one column.
What i mean by this is, when i click on the column heading i can order by that column ascending or descending. Is it possible to order by more than one column?

You have to order each book separately, if the books are different. Only multiple copies of the same book can be ordered in the same order, see here

Can I have a photo in more than one event?

I understand that it is normally not possible to have one photo in more than one event at a time.
I am quite careful about arranging my photos into events logically, but find in my library tere are several events called [Date] Photo Stream, which I've not delivberately created. It appears that in many cases the photos these Photo stream events contain are also in other events.
Can anyone tell me what is going on here? Can I safely delete the Photostream events and their contents?

To have a photo in more than one Event it must be duplicated and the duplicate added to the other Event. A photo can be in multiple albums, books, slideshows without having to duplicate the photo as those use pointers to the original photo.
At the beginning of each month new photos in the Shoto Stream are imported into an Event with the month and year as the Event name. All photos taken that month are added to that Event. That's because the iPhoto/Photo Stream preferences are set to auto import photos taken by your mobile devices:
Events are basically buckets of photos based on the date taken and how you've setup iPhoto's preferences for importing photos:
Merging Events can change the location in the resulting event among the other events due to the variety of dates of the photos.

How can i use the same front panel graph in more than one events in an event structure?

i want to display the signals from my sensorDAQ in a graph.but i have more than one event in the event structure to acquire the signal and display it in the graph.the first event is to acquire the threshold signals and its displayed in the graph as a feedback.after the first event is executed, i will call the second event,where the further signals are acuired and compared with the threshold signals from the event 1.my question is how can i use the same front panel control in more than two events in the event structure?please answer me i'm stuck.

I have attached here an example of doing the same using shift registers and local variables. Take a look. Shift register is always a better option than local variables.

RS_TREE... FMs : How do I generate more than one tree at a time ?

Dear experts,
we are using the RS_TREE function modules (such as RS_TREE_CREATE,
RS_TREE_ADD_NODE...) for protocol purposes in various applications.
Now it turned out to be a problem to generate more than one tree at the same
time. It's always like "the last one wins".
The initialization with RS_TREE_CREATE seems to destroy tree structures
being in the process of construction.
Does anyone have an idea of how to solve that kind of problem ?

Do you mean items in Finder?
To highlight (select) a whole block of items :
- click the top item you want
- hold down Shift
- click the bottom item you want
The whole range from top to bottom will be highlighted
To select random items :
- click the first item
- hold down the Command key
- click any more items anywhere in the list
Just the items you clicked will be highlighted
This technique works also in apps like iTunes, iPhoto, etc.

I understand that Chart of Account structure is one and common for IFRS and other accounting method. We need to create only those account separately ( 2 times with prefix like IFRS revenue account, GAAP Revenue account).
Now at time of entry, Assume some entries / adjustment are specifically for IFRS and not for other ledger. In this case, What need to do ?
You have mentioned about DTW approach but do we need to insert all JV's again with other ledger ?
Someone suggested that if any entry which are specific to IFRS Ledger, We need to user Ref.1 /2 column or Transcation code column and in which we can put IFRS
Based on this, Need to create 2 seperate template for IFRS and other ledger for all report.

Yes, you have WD software installed REMOVE IT !!
WD has warned its customers about their huge mistake that their software doesnt work on Mavericks and causes data loss.
(also dont use WD drives anymore)

Not allow more than one person to change program

Hi All,
My requirement is that i want to change details of purchase order in module pool programming. I dont want more than one prson to change the same purchase order at the same time. Can someone tell me how can i achive this.

Hi Shilpa,
Is this a Z module pool or you are talking about the standard.
If it is Z module pool create a new lock object of type exclusive or look out for standard lock object for purchase order in SE11.
after generating the custome lock object SAP would generate 2 function modules 1) Enqueue_<lock object name> (Request lock) 2) Dequeue_<lock object name>(Release lock).
call these lock FM'S in your module pool likely in the PBO call the Enqueue FM and process your transaction and finally by the end of the transaction call the Dequeue FM to release the lock locked.
I believe you can try with the lock object 'EMEKKOE'

Sales order with more than 9 items causing problem

I have a situation here.
A sales order is created in the system and since it is order related billing so its billing document is also generated. The billing document is not relevant for accounting. So, the only 2 documents are a sales order and its billing document.
Due to some technical restrictions,if the number of lines is more than 9 the printout wont come.Henceforth,the user is unable to take a printout so I need to give him a solution.
What shall I suggest him?

So, if my undestanding is right then you want to create a credit memo after invoice ? If yes, then why are you splitting the sales order ? Also, this is something strange kind of ABAP logic which would not allow to print an invoice with more than 9 line items... Now, as you said if your sales order is having more than 9 line items then only print doesn't come.. right ? then in your case at this moment there are only 9 line items so ideally you'd be able to get a print.. right ?
I think there is some confusion out here with your two posts.. kindly clarify...
