If same pre requisites (release codes) and classification values maintained to the 2 release strategies .. what will be the effect.. and which release strategy will pick the system

This is my very first post. I have a situation where for an Inbound delivery. I should have 2 days difference in Goods arrival and goods receipt in plant. For some reason system is showing the same dates for Goods arrival and goods Receipt. Can someone help me what all tolook for?

ATO Items/ Models have significant complex requirements and behavior when ATP check is called. While this is handled appropriately in ATP from OM interface, direct ATP Inquiry either from APS responsibility or similar form in OM--> Scheduling menu option.
I'll highly suggest not to use either of these ATP Inquiry forms for anything related to CTO (ATO, PTO etc) and only use OM UI for such availability checks. This is by design unless Oracle makes significant changes to how these forms are built, please note there is no configurator support from these 2 forms for similar reasons.

Tables for Release strategies

Hi ...
I was referring to MM table doc , in that it is mentioned table EBELN & EBELP are for Purchase Order header / Line and BANFN & BNFPO are for PR header/ Line.
But for release strategy ...people told me to refer CEKKO for PO and CEBAN for PR.
does it mean that release strategy refers to different tables for execution ( and I believe these tables are used for release strategy purpose only and if Yes then at what point PO / PR data gets updated in these tables)

Creation date for released transport request

Hello everybody!
Does anyone know how to find the CREATION date for a released transport request? I've already checked table E070CREATE and it only has entries for modifiable requests.

I think transport is released date field in E070 is overwritten with the releasing date.

But, seriously, May 31 seems like a place holder. If it were May 31, they'd post that when you purchase the software in the Apple Store instead of simply saying May.

ITunes giving the same date for everything "05/01/2009"

Hey guys just got my first mac yesterday (after years of PC) and I'm working on getting my podcasts/music into iTunes however it seems like iTunes on my new mac has an affinity to the date 05/01/2009. I checked the clock in the upper right of my screen and see that my computer knows the correct date however in iTunes it shows the other date for when I Last Played songs (even if it was 30 seconds ago) and in my podcasts it tells me every episode from every podcast came available on that date as well.
Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Sorry to bump but it's kind of annoying.
Even a new podcast I downloaded yesterday (new episode came out yesterday) has the 05/01/2009 date.

I understand you want to scan the table only once... There is a way to accomplish that (probably easier and more readable then the one I give here also exists), but one thing sure, the tab is scanned once only here:

How to load member for "sales same date last year"?

I need to load a member in Measures named "PriorYrSales" with "Sales" for the same date last year as today's date. Thus, retrieving "PriorYrSales" for 2/10/2002 would return the sales amount for 2/10/2001. Since days roll-up to months, quarters, years, it would be easy to determine how we're doing compared to the same time last year.Data is loaded each day for a date range from the current date and the preceding x days. Perhaps I wasn't clear in the first post. The intent is to easily compare sales for a current date/period to the same date/period last year. Release strategies for purchase requisitions

I'm having trouble with profiles and roles for release strategies, this is the scenario:
-for purchase requisitions we have two approval levels, release code S1 and S2. When release code S1 is cleared, then S2 must be approved. The head of a certain purchasing group will use S1 to approve the requisitions from his own department, and then the financial director will approve with S2. However, finance is also a purchasing group, so in some instances the finance director will have to approve with S1 and then S2.
My question is: how can we use profiles and roles so that the finance director has access with S2 to all (*) purchasing groups, but with S1 for only a certain purchasing group (in this case "500")? we can't seem to be able to define certain purchasing groups to different release codes, purchasing groups must be defined at purchsing requisitiom level.

HI,
Not necessarily, you just need a different strategy for each different combination of release codes involved.
So if certain P groups need to be put through a different sequence of approvals, then have one new strategy for this group of P groups and one for the other combination of P groups.
Or however many different variations you have.

RCCLBI01 and Purchase Requisition Release Strategies

I'm trying to use RCCLBI01 to load Release Strategies. I've found a few threads on it but they don't tell you what you can and can't do with it. I know I can load the characteristic values for an already existing Release Strategy, but I have hundreds of Release Strategies that I need to create.
Will this load the strategies as well, or do I really have to go create them by hand in SPRO first then run it? Or is there another program that will load strategies and the codes and the characteristics?

RCCLDI01 is now used. However Here's my view:
1. You will have to create chracteristics to begin with. I hope the number is not huge as it will narrow down the functionality otherwise.
2. The class-- How many would you create?? I don't believe you would need a Batch input program to create a class as I believe there could not be more than a handful, unless necessary
3.Now the classification.. the buggest task of all, where you could run in to hundreds.. Maintaining them is a nightmare and you'd have to have your strategies first.. I do not know of any input program to create Release strategies. So my answer is "a manual task"
4. RCCLBI02 is of no help here for release strategies.
5. I would rather use TCODE: CLMM to do the mass changes.. it makes life a lot easier.
6. The last option is for some one technical to help you create a script to load the data.

Tring to save data for n iterations, beginning when SAVE button is pressed

OK, I'm STILL struggling with this vi. (See post from 12/16). I've cleaned up the code considerably, and better defined what it is I want to accomplish. When the vi begins, I want to immediately begin displaying on the front panel 3 values: Indicated Flow Rate O2, Indicated Flow Rate N2, and Helium Concentration. When the operator presses the SAVE button, I want the next n iterations to be saved to file. N is determined by the Measurement Duration (in minutes) divided by the measurement interval (in seconds). After the desired number of data points are saved, the operator can press the stop button, at which time the vi goes to frame 1 of the sequence, shuts off the Helium Solenoid and returns the detector to standby. The whole key to this vi is being able to monitor the data in real time, and decide based on measurement criteria when to begin saving the data, initiated by pressing the SAVE button. Somehow, I know I need to initiate the save with the case statement, and then save the data (n-1) more times. When I tried a loop within a loop, I just saved the same data for the given # of iterations, and then the displays began updating again. Is this making any sense at all? I'm beginning to understand what an aneurism feels like.

One possibility solution is attached. Basically, we have a shift register that contains zero and regulates a case structure. Case zero is empty. If save is pressed, we feed a positive, nonzero number to it , which triggers the default case that (1) saves a data point and (2) decrements the shift register. This contiunes until the shift register reaches zero again.
Modify as needed.
btw: there is no reason for any local variables, use direct wires.

Same date travel not allowed

I want to ask,
how to block or restrict employee from creating the same date for travel request for another request?
so if the employee has already had trip for 01.04.2010 - 04.04.2010, he will not be able to create another travel request for the same date?!
i want it the same for travel expense too.

TM-->Travel Expenses >Dialog and travel expenses control>dialog control-->Define Schema and individual Field Control -->trip schema(domestic)
uncheck the field "overlapping trips allowed"

Blog Post List - same date posts under one date listing (javascript?)

I have six blogs set up for a website. I have the blogs summaries appearing on the home page and in the individual blog index sections.
I would like all blog summaries (with the same date) to appear under one date entry and not repeat the same date for each item. Tech Support says this is possible with javascript (as is most things it seems), but I do not know javascript.

Using same data in 2 different grids

Im wondering if it is possible to do this in FRStudio.
I have 2 grids in one report. Both grids come from a different datasource
ie:2 different cubes.
I want to use the same prompt selection (use the same data) for both grids but without having 2 seperate prompts selections.
I can merge prompts on 2 grids coming from the same datasource but it seems I cant when they are from 2 different datasources. Is there anyway around this?

Scheduling the requirement quantities on different dates for different vend

Dear Gurus,
We have requirement of generating the shcedule line on different dates
in case multi supplier. The part is supplied by 3 different supplier when executing MRP the system generated schedule line on same date for each supplier,
however the business requirement is not to receive all material on same
date. But to receive all the requirements on the 3 consecutive days say for 3 different vendors. We have maintained Quota Arrangement for splitting the requirements order quantity.
Pls suggest the configuration / Material master changes we need to make for the same.

If you want different dely dates for each supplier, you maintain different planned dely time in supplier specific inforecord for that particular material.
