Same Safari, same version, same OS, but behaves differently on two machines

I have Safari 5.1.1 installed on two machines. Both have 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.1 installed but some web pages look differently on both machines. There seems to be a problem with browser window sizes. Hmmm ...

Could it be that the software on the installer CDs and via Software Update is "different" from the file I am able to download from Apple's own company website? Hu ... can you make it more complicated?

I can't print from my iPad2 to my air-print enabled printer (HP Premium e-all-in-one C310). They're on the same network, but have differed IP addresses! The iPad IP is 192-168-1.126 and the printer is 192-168.1.133. That's the only difference I can see. Is there a way to fix this?

you put periods between the numbers.
Each device needs a unique number.
for the 192.168.1 the right must number should vary. 192.168.1.x
the numbers you have look ok.
Power off all devices: wifi router, printer, ipad.. wait 10 minutes. poweron router ... wait power on printer wait then power on ipad.

Base raw files can be given with exposure bracketing during shooting, for example.
The goal - to get maximum details in darks and lights (if we use the "ligths recovery" or "fill lights" we lose the quality because raw file just have no all required information).

The plugin LR/Enfuse does this already. And of course Photomatix have a plugin available for Lightroom. This essentially amounts to pixel editing, which is beyond the range of Lightroom's metadata editing.

To create multiple files with same content but with different names

Hi SapAll.
here i have got a tricky situation on Idoc to File Scenario.
in my interface of an Idoc to file ,there is requirement to create multiple files with different file names but with same content based on one Idoc Segment.
which means there will be one Zsegment with two fields in the idoc,where one field with (content refers to the name which file name should start with .so lets say if this segment is repeated for 3 times then PI should create 3 files in the same directory with same content but with different file names (from the filed).
so here for now iam using one reciever file communication channel.
can any body give me the quick answer.

What do you mean by different names?
when i make proper setting in the Receiver Channel....on how to create the filename (what to append) like add Timestamp, counter, date, messageid.....even in this case you will ahve file with different names and that too from same File channel.
You can perform multi-mapping in XI/ PI and then your File channel will place the files in the target folder with relevant names. You cannot use Dynamic Configuration with Multi-Mapping!
If you intend to use different File channels, then do the configuration as required (normal)...even over here you can follow multi-mapping.
Do not use a BPM!

I installed this same digitizer in my T|X some weeks ago. Some discussion of my experience may be found in this Usenet posting and subsequent thread.
The stock digitizer in my T|X had always had some significant alignment issues (for which PowerDigi was able to compensate very nicely) and sensitivity which was uneven, but which usually required a heavier touch than I liked.
Eventually, it began to develop a “dead spot” near the upper left. My T|X was under warranty, so I probably ought to have sent it in to Palm to be repaired, but I wasn't willing to be without it for the required amount of time, and I've heard enough reports of other T|X owners getting unsatisfactory results this way. I'd heard enough good reports about the PDAPARTS.COm digitizer, that I decided that the only acceptable way to repair my T|X would be to install one of those.
After however many weeks it has been, I am still very pleased with the results. It continues to work flawlessly; it is much more sensitive, so it doesn't require nearly so heavy a touch, and I very much like the hard feel that it has, compared to the spongier feel of the stock digitizer.
My wife's T|X still has its stock digitizer, and it has so far not shown any of the same problems that mine did, or for which the T|X has become notorious, but the feel is noticeably inferior. She's content with it the way it is, but I think that if I were to ever buy another T|X for myself, I wouldn't wait for the stock digitizer to fail. The PDAPARTS.COM digitizer is simply superior in every imaginable way; and, in my opinion, a T|X with the PDAPARTS.COM digitizer installed is sufficiently superior to one with the stock digitizer (even if it isn't defective) to be very much worth the expense and trouble of installing it.

If you and your wife have separate user accounts on the Mac, then each of you will have separate libraries to sync. You can them maintain separate address books, calendars, apps, etc.

Deployment of same Ear/Ejbs behaving differently in different machines.

I have configured an ejb and introduced only local interface for the same. All the localhome, localinterface and ejb implementation classes are packaged inside myejbs.jar. This is placed inside myapp.ear .

Which is expected, since local interfaces should not throw RemoteExceptions, they should throw EjbException. ( as per specification ).
But the question here is, the same ear is being successfully deployed in some other machines. Dont knw how....
When I checked my server log I found out that, weblogic server is failing to deploy ejbs when it is trying to compile ejbs

I have found the root cause of this issue i.e even though mapping program is same in 2 environments,standard functions(i.e concat Text function) behaviour may change based on support package versions.
As i explained in previous posts
(QA mapping program not generating some of the node in IDOC as DEV does, basically its SOAP to IDOC mapping)
QA(PI7.0 SP15) and DEV(PI7.0 SP10) have different Java support package stacks, especially SAP_XITOOL component.
Untill PI7.0 SP10 concat standard function was working for Queue values but in next SP releases it wasn't working(SAP made it Value function i guess, no where its documented by SAP as far as i know).
So I am sending this issue to SAP.

There is no hiding or conditional hiding tab functionality in DeskI, which would serve the purpose of your need.
One option could be to open up the child report in the same window rather a new window.

Load the library which doesn't contain the songs and drag them into the open iTunes application window. If you need to move them between different computer user accounts, put them into /Users/Shared/.

How to apply different keyboard shortcuts to an actions with the same name but in different menus within one application?

Hopefully someone can help. I have the application "djay" and in two different menus there is the action "Eject". I was wondering if it's possible to apply different keyboard shortcuts to those actions with the same name? I can't see how to do it as it seems you can only write the action but as there are two it doesn't seem to work for me.
For example:

djay>Table-2>Eject - ⌘⇧0

The response file is associated with a specific login (as determined under Edit > Preferences > Identity) so you cannot retrieve it if you're using a different login.

Setting up Lion FaceTime to connect to iPad on same account but in different places

This may seem like a dumb question....I am going away on Tuesday and am taking my iPad2 - we are very familiar with using Facetime on the iPad. We just got Lion on the iMac and it now has FaceTime, but I have not set it up...I want to use FacTime on the iMac to chat to my family from the iPad while I am away. Do I need to set up a different FaceTime account on the IMac so that I can connect to it from the iPad2? Or can I call from the iPad to the iMac using the same account...? i.e. does it recognise that even though its the same account its 2 different devices in 2 different places....

On his iPad, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign in with the other ID. For FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.
If you need to change his iPad to a separate iCloud account go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from his iPad, not from iCloud. Your iPad will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPad. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a separate Apple ID, turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, if you have any of each other's data in your iCloud accouts you'll have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want from each account (such as deleting the your contacts from his account, and vice versa).

Search results different for two machines on same network with same version of Lync (2013)

When searching by Department in Lync 2013, one machine displays the individuals who are members of the department while the other machine just lists the group. The same machine that displays just the group occasionally will not show contact information
(work phone, department, title) for individuals either but the other machine will. Two different Windows 7 machines but running Office 365 Lync 2013 client on the same network. I have cleared Lync cache and downloaded the latest address book. Any
thoughts on this?

This isn't an explanation for what's happening, there could be many things wrong. But, it might be worth a shot to avoid the offline GAL search and go to an online web search only. This may get you more consistent results.
To test, create a new policy and assign it to a couple of users like this:
New-CsClientPolicy -Identity WebSearchClientPolicy -AddressBookAvailability WebSearchOnly
Grant-CsClientPolicy -Identity UserA -PolicyName WebSearchClientPolicy
Grant-CsClientPolicy -Identity UserB -PolicyName WebSearchClientPolicy
If that works, you could change your global and other client policies to use the same method. There would be a bit more of a load on the server, so if you have thousands and thousands of users you may want to plan accordingly.
