i installed netweaver trail version. (thanks for banu, pb and oliver for my installation)
Old BEx Analyzer 3.0 is ready to use.(below link is showing)
when i run rrmx, i am not getting any thing, please help me regarding this.

Hi,
What do you mean by "extraction part will work here or not" ? You mean to say that extraction from source to BW?
If you want you can have the same old flow as 3.x but the environment will be BI 7.0 then in that case you need query desinger to changer / create the queries.

The only way to create an Apple ID & not have a payment method associated with the ID, is to follow the directions here:

HT1386 I just reinstalled my windows operating system and decided to put on windows 8. After loading all of my music back into a freshly installed itunes, my 4th gen ipod is not recognized by itunes. My 1st gen ipod nano works with no problem. Help!

Linux trial on one machine - SAP GUI with BEX on other windows machine

Hi all,
I am thinking if it is possible to install the Linux installation of the preview version of Netweaver
on one hardware maschine with linux and then connect to this application server over the
BEX tools on a second windows machine. I know that this is the often used configuration in
companies. But does this work also with a trial version of the Netweaver application server?
The reason I want to do this is that I wanted to do some tests with the Integrated planning
environment und the Bex Web Application environment of BW. Both these tools are dependet
on a java server in the 7.0 Version. But the clients of the Bex Tools run on windows.

They are DVDs with video files from a little more than 2 GB per file, were burned in Snow Leopard, with UDF file system, now that I updated to Mavericks when I try to read disks displays the directory in the finder a moment and then disappear and does not display them show them more. It is impossible to read the discs, but only those who were burned with UDF file system. Thank you for your help.

Is this only happening on your computer or have you tried other people? If it is only your computer I would restart my computer and try again. Also, if you close out all excel windows you have open and type in transaction rrmx it should open BEx for you..

Access SQL Query Problem - Pls help

It works fine without the line with CurrentDate so i'm sure something's wrong there. What i want to do is set CurrentDate as a constant ("2001/11/22") i dont have any experience with Access so any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to successfully query an access 97 database using the following SQL:
String sql = "SELECT emp.emp_fname, emp.emp_lname, '2001/11/22' AS CurrentDate FROM emp";don't know why your's wouldn't work. Was there a SQLException? Or are you trying to get it to work using the Access SQL editor?

Using Mac Mail with Exchange problem - Please HELP

When using mac mail with exchange server 2000 when i delete an email from mac mail it doesnt delete it from exchange i know this because when i login to my email from microsoft outlook the mail that i deleted is still there.
i have tried changing the mailbox behaviours in mail preferences to not store deleted messages on the server but this didnt do anything do i need to setup directory access in utilities to get an exchange account to work properly any help would be appreciated as we dont want to have to use microsoft products

Are you set up for POP or IMAP? For POP, that's the normal behavior. For IMAP, try making sure you have the synchronize mail folders option selected. The is under Mail->Preferences->Accounts->Advanced.

BEX problem: F4 help to filter values of F4 value list at query execution

Hi all,
description of the problem we face:
at query execution the selection pop-up appears and "ask" for values. To select those values I try the F4 button and receive a long list of e.g. vendors. (Our vendors are compounded to a special characteristic due to several sources.) To select now several individual values from the list I choose the filter button and try to shorten the list by searching with values of the atributes, here by 0NAME of the vendor. From the result shown I choose one value compounded to a unique value of the special characteristic, there are values for vendors which are the same, but with different compound values and of course different meanings.
When I mark one vendor value shown with his compounded value in front of the row, I expect the compounded value will be transferred to the selection pop-up too, but it won't!!
Only the vendor is transferred, so the result of the query shows more information then wanted.
Any solutions for this?

I dont know any direct solution to your problem, a workaround is
May be add a variable on the Special characterstics, and ask users to enter the Special character also along with your Vendor Code.
As while selecting the vendor user already know special charater value, then can just enter it in Selection screen and restrict the output.
