Sap admin problem

I applied a new patch to the sapadmin (containing bw 3.0b patch 22,sapsetup patch 23 and sapgui patch 66) - i installed it remotely to all the workstations - after installing remotely i discovered a problem - is thare a way to uninstall the patch from the sapadmin (uninstall even one patch bw 3.0b for example and apply an earlier patch)?

I think you have to check whether that respective Task which you are trying to execute is General or not. I think it is not set to General.

many thanks for you help. But the problem still persists.
1. We don't have $ODBCINI. There are no conection issues at all. Connection is performed by IBM Data Server Client (db2client) db2 connect to ...
2. For which stored procedures do we need to apply these Grants? We manually exported the available historical data from the TrendingDB to CSV files, connected to the database server with db2 connect... (on the app server), imported these CSV with the same user, it all went smoothly. We granted some DML's to the database user. also granted DBADM and SECADM to the database user as well, just to be sure there are no permission issues.
The Error message seems to indicate There is a problem finding the correct driver for monitoring database, since it says,
      networkLayer    "ODBC"
        DBMS    "DB2"
com.sap.connectivity.cs.core.CSError: Specified RDBMS is invalid : DB2.
- Maby IBM Data Server Client (db2client) is not supported for monitoring database at all?
- Do we have to install additional DB2 clients like DB2 CLI driver or ODBC client instead?

Hello all -- Just like we can download DB2 EXPRESS C onto our pcs for learning, evaluating db2, is it possible to download sap admin tools like dba cockpit etc ? I searched in google but in vain. I am new to db2 on sap.. pl guide me.

SAP License Problem in EP System

Hi
After completed the EP 7.0 ((SAP EHP1 for SAP Netweaver 7.0) installation on Sunsolaries with Oracle 10g. I start with the license installation.
I manage to get the license ,but when i try to install the license into the server it show invalid.. i already key in everything correctly still invalid.
i try to install the license manually using "saplicense" command it show this error.

I have already applied the SAPlicense through Visual Administrator.
start the Visual Administrator tool (usr\sap\SID\JC<xx>\j2ee\admin\go) and from there you can find the "Licensing Adapter" when you select correct server and "Services" underneath it.
But the problem is while executing the saplicense -show at OS level... i am getting below error..
qepadm> saplicense -show

OWB SAP Integrator Problem

Hello,
i have a problem with the needed library from SAP that should be in the OWB_HOME/owb/bin/admin folder.
I am using OWB 10.1 on a linux machine, so i put the librfccm.so in this folder and set it to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
When i want to create a sap source module, i get the error message, that the librfc32.dll is not correctly installed. Do i need this file too? Thought it is just for Windows.
Or it is just a display message bug and it could be possible that die librfccm.so maybe is the wrong version?

The librfccm.so is the file, i put into the specified directory. I got the file from the sap support site.
I also installed both the database and the owb client on a windows server. I put the librfc32.dll in the specified directory. But there i have another problem. On this machine it works to create a sap module, but when i want to set the SAP R/3 version. It is just possible to choose SAP R/3 Version 3.X.
When i choose 4.X and want to go further, nothing happens. No error message, it loads just a second. The next page where the connection details are set does not appear, the current page remains.
I tried several dll's from the sap site.
What could be the cause for this problem?

Sap license problem

Hi,
I cannot get SAP to allow me to login with anything other than sap*. I would like to use the "developer" account.
When I type saplicense -show I get the information below and it says "license usable." However, when I type saplicense -test developer, I get:
***Can not read profile parameter SAPSYSTEMNAME Start saplicense with -test pf=<profile>
I have tried NW4, LNX, nw4host, nw4adm as well as the profile and I get the same error. I think the problem is that the certification thinks the SAPSYSTEMNAME is LNX, where as SAPSYSTEMNAME is actually defined as NW4.
How do I resolve this?

SAP PI problem: User credentials are invalid or user is denied access

Hi!
I am about to configure SAP PI.
Therefore I have run post installation wizard step PI_00 and get the following errors:
Error: Not able to load Function SWF_XI_BPM_AUTO_CUSTOMIZE
(cause:Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)).
Step: Execute SWF_XI_BPM_AUTO_CUSTOMIZE
Error: User credentials are invalid or user is denied access
Step: Add Installed Product2
Questions:
How can I identify which user/password makes problems here?
P.S.
My further problems are:
2) It is not possible to work with XI tools, such as:
Integration Directory, Integration Repository, Runtime Workbench
When I try to execute some action in these tools I get the following error:
Cannot connect to Repository
Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: User credentials are invalid or user is denied access.
2) When I try to access the NetWeaver configuration wizard (http://localhost:50000/nwa)
I get the followign warnig:
System Landscape Directory is not available
Only local systems can be maintened

Help with Admin Problems

Ok so I have been blessed with the most unlucky of situations anybody could Imagine. My Dilemma is that I now have a new Macbook Pro running Mavericks 10.9.4 as my old one is many, many years old. Now the problem is that I need to unlock the gold padlock on the old computer running 10.5.8 but there is no admin account? All of the users say standard and I thought I had used to be the admin but now its gone. So I looked up ways of fixing the problem including one specific one: Restart computer, Hold command+s, type: "mount -uw /" then: "rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone" then: "reboot" and had gone through all the settings and set up a new account but the account it made is still only a standard and not an Admin account! And since I still don't have an admin I cannot even delete the new standard account. My poor old Mac is running out of memory and disk room. Any ideas on anything I can do as I no longer remember where the startup discs were put, cannot gain access to any admin privileges, can not unlock anything I need to get to, and have not tried an Apple store yet as I heard they will not do it for you. Anybody have suggestions as I can't get any of my important files off my old mac or even activate our time machine cause it requires the admin info as well

The first user on Mac is also has administrator rights, so use your password for the account.

I think that the real problem could be parsing abap into xml.
SERIALIZE_APPLICATION_DATA
I tested the Web Service in Web Services Navigator without any errors.
The object is written in Java and the class implement Serializable, but i think the failure is on the abap site.
Does anyone has a solution for my issue?

Hello Leo,
There are a number of options to do this. You can use the standard SAP tool named LSMW - Legacy System Migration Workbench (transaction LSMW) as a starting point.
Also please read this [Documentation|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/0d/414538bc0fe927e10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm] before undertaking the data migration activity via LSMW.
Additionally, there is also a Direct Input program available named RMDATIND - please go through the program documentation before you use it. You can use this program to transfer material master data to SAP but
make sure you assign this program through LSMW for mapping structures etc. The internet link above will give
more details and step-by-step instructions to follow.

Sap script - Problem while printing Hungarian characters during Unicode

Hello Friends,
We had done unicode changes ie Version upgrade from 4.6 C to ECC and because of that sap script Hungarian characters are printing as Junk characters ex - #####.
Can any one please help me on this issue. In SO10 Print preview also we are facing same issue.

ARD Admin problem

I'm running ARD 3.4 in a school with 26 iMacs from early 2006 in a lab. Everything was working fine until I had to replace two machines due to hardware failure. I replaced them with the same model computer, restored them from the same image that the rest used, and called it good. I administer ARD from another iMac, early 2008 20" in the building. I went to install some software and found the two I had replaced not working, call them #1 and #3. I removed them from my list, ran the scanner, and found the machines were simply using different IP addresses, so I re-added them to my list. ARD works as usual for all the machines except 1 & 3, listing them as offline, but I am still able to control them (any other tasks fail because the computers are "offline"). I've gone through every setting, both on the machines, and in ARD and the only difference I can find is that ARD reports 1 & 3 as being administered by a computer with a different IP address than the others - I've pinged this IP address and gotten no response. The working computers also have a green light next to the admin machine name, while 1 & 3 do not. I click the edit button at the bottom of this page, but it doesn't actually let me edit anything, regardless of which computer I'm checking.
Has anyone else run into this problem? Any suggestions?

I've been combing the boards because I too am having this very same kind of thing happen.
In my case, I moved and have been attempting to recreate the office I had back in AUG 2010. Started setting it all up in January and was delayed due to a lot of hardware failures. Am finally getting around to setting up ARD and my computers are not working with ARD as they did in the past. Many are showing up as Offline. I decided to throw away the prefs and thought it would give me a fresh start, but now many computers on the network are not even showing up!
Misery loves company, but I sure would like to solve this and get happy.
Suggestions anyone?
ARD 3.4 Administered from an iMac PowerPC G5, and the Ethernet & Airport network has 3 more iMacs, a MacMini, and two PowerMacs, and a PowerBook G5, and sometimes an iBook. Things were working great before I moved. Network is configured a bit differently that before, but since I set it up, file sharing seemed to be working OK, so then went I went to set up ARD 3.4 things are not right.
Why?

Server Admin Problem - File Sharing fails to load

We recently switched over from a 10.4 server to an Intel Quad Core Xserve running 10.5.8. Things seemed to be working for about a week but now The File Sharing part of Server Admin fails to load. After spinning for a few minutes I get a kNetworkError on the File Sharing Service.
I'm not totally through setting up all the share points so this is causing quite a problem. Otherwise the Sharepoints that are set up are working properly. The first time this happened a server restart cleared the problem. This time nothing seems to help.
Anyone have a cure for this?

The problem seems to be getting worse. Once the error occurs some of the other services are not available through SA either. Anybody have any suggestions, or is it a reformat and reinstall situation?
