SAP ALL profile except BASIS

Hi all,
I need to found a standard SAP ALL profile who has all autorithations except the basis (workbench, etc).
Anyone knows the name for assing it?

Check if the profile Z_ANWEND helps your cause. .
Z_ANWEND: All user authorizations (excluding BC system). You can directly assign the profile to the users.
If you want to go for role option then create a role. The under authorization tab select EXpert mode for profile generation. Then from menu bar choose
Edit->Insert Authorization->From profile.
The generate the profile of this role and assign it to users.
and give the profile Z_ANWEND. Then generate the profile for this role and assign it to the users. Personally I would prefer the role option.

Providing all authorisations except basis transaction codes

Dear all,
I am planning to give SAP_ALL authorisation to users in the system.
but I need to restrict such that they dont have access to critical basis t-codes like (SU01, PFCG, SCC4 etc..)
Can you pls let me know how to perform the same.
Is there any predefined roles to do the above....
I am using an ECC 6 server. This is a normal test server.
Any suggestions and ideas are warmly appreciated.

If you want have a customized role SAP_ALL and exlcude all BASIS and Security authorizations in the role following is one way of approach.
1) GOTO PFCG transaction and create a new role
2) Now go to MENU tab , here is transactions column , click on *FROM SAP MENU* and select all the fields except Admistration and CCMS options under TOOLS and now click on transfer.
3) this will transfer all SAP transaction codes in the system except BASIS and SECURITY transactions
4) Now go to authorization --> change authorization data .
Here inactivate the following :
BC_A --> Basis - Administration
BC_C --> Basis - Development Enviromment
BC_Z --> Basis Central Functions
And finally save and generate the role.
This will role will give you the access to all the SAP transactions of all the functions in the system except the critical modules BASIS and SECURITY.

Problem in importing SAP Exchange profile (BASIS settings) - Urgent

Hi,
I am currently facing problem in importing SAP Exchange profiles manually.
When i enter into http://<J2EE_host>:<J2EE_port>/exchangeProfile with username as PISUPER, the page is getting loaded but
1.it shows a error message stating, Name or password is incorrect
2. When i ignore that error and proceed with the connections tab to edit the server settings, i cannot set the password for PILDUSER. It again says, Name or Password is incorrect..
What could be the reason for these errors. Please help me... This is very urgent....

Thanks for your response guys. I checked for PISUPER and PILDSUPER in SU01 and checked for lock but it shows an error message saying User doesnot exist.
Kindly let me know how to procced on in this case.

How to identify correct action to aleviate all 62 exception msg?

Hi experts,
I would like to ask, when I try to run MRP (MD02) system generated planned order will always has an error message "62: Scheduling: Master data inconsistent".
How to aleviate all 62 exception messages that appearing on plant xxxx materials.
I did checked on the routing data, and I am very sure that the routing is there and is valid. When I go into the planned order (display mode), I can see that the planned order has selected a routing (under the Detailed Scheduling window).
I really have no idea why system telling me my master data is incorrect.
Can anyone give me a hand?

Pls check the OSS note - Note 88505 - Planned order upload generates exception message 62
Pls take opinion from SAP / Basis team, if you want to implement the note

I am not sure the command to use the SID to accomplish what you want to achieve, if you only know the SID, you could take use Powershell to find the related information, more information, please check:

If you select that right-click context menu entry then you block all images from that domain and not one specific image, so do not use that.
* Check the exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions (e.g. sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net)
You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
* Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
* Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
* Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
* Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
* Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
* If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Help on Importing the SAP Exchange Profile

Hello,
I could not find file /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/exchange_profile.xml , while doing post installation step in installation guide. the step is importing the SAP XI profile.
It is just to to save the profile, i mean to save user passwords for security reasons.
Can i leave this step and perform later.

As per your query there is not profile of SAP to give display authorisation, for this you have to create new profile on module wise and assign to user.

I am afraid, the only option I know is manually change all instance of Auth Object ACTVT (Activity) to 03, 08
- Create a new role
- Go to Authorization tab
- It will ask to select a profile, select SAP_ALL
- manually change the activity to 03,08

We need to add SAP CCMS startup command in our SAP start profile.
We use command sapccm4x -DCCMS pf=<> to start SAP CCMS agent .
I expect we need to add this command (sapccm4x -DCCMS pf=<> ) with same protocol to execute it with SAP start profile.
Please let me know how can we add this with SAP start profile.

I have added command and CCMS agent is also getting start with SAP startup.
But when I execute command startsap ....like it shows message "database started";;"Instance Started", I am not getting any SAPCCMS agent startup message.
Please suggest how can I get in startsap script SAPCCMS startup confirmation messge also. Does it require change in startsap script or we should some command protocol in startup profie for it.

Is it possible to change proxy settings for all profiles that´s created instead of the standard options. We need to change "use systems proxy" into "automatic"

Proxy Problems
We need to be able to change the default settings for the proxy for all profiles on our computers that´s created for new users.
Standard is that firefox takes the option "use the system options" for the proxy. We would like it to use the option "automatic" instead like IE and Chrome does.
Considering that we have over 500 computers doing this manually isn´t an option, because a new profile is created everytime someone logs on to a computer they haven´t used before.

You can use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock prefs or specify new default values.
Place a file local-settings.js in the defaultspref folder where you also find the file channel-prefs.js to specify using mozilla.cfg.

pref("general.config.obscure_value", 0); // use this to disable the byte-shift

You can use these functions in mozilla.cfg:
defaultPref(); // set new default value
