SAP B1 client system problem

Hello Experts,
When we running SAP B1 in client system then it takes 4 - 5 mins to open the windows.This problem occurs in every SAP B1 client system. After opening the windows, it works fine and shows no errors.SAP B1 version is 8.8 and PL is 18.
what is probable reason for this problem.?

when we are connecting server through particular user it's showing error Internal Error (-1101) occurred Message 131-183". this is client laptop contain OS is vista and sever has windows 2003 server.when we are login after it's showing to update patch level at this is time only we are getting and it's not updataing PL 43. we are using SAP B1 PL43. this problem only in this laptop.

In order to try to resolve this issue, please do the following:
1. Go to start -> Run -> %temp% and clean up all the files.
2. Go to Control panel -> Add and remove program and uninstall the SAP Business one client.
3. Reboot the Notebook.
4. Turn off UAC (disable UAC) before installing the client so the registration of both the UI and DI will work. UAC -> a new security mechanism was introduced in Vista. It is called "user Account Control"

5. Then reinstall the client from the B1_SHR.

Middleware problem -Outbound queue is stuck in SAP R/3 system with message

Hi Middleware gurus ,
We are stuck with a serious issue . We are trying to download Business partners from SAP R/3 4.6c system to SAP CRM 5.2 system using CRM Middleware
Previously we did a successful Initial download of 2 Business partners from SAP R/3 to CRM . Their BP numbers in CRM are 001 and 002 . The Delta load is working fine for the both the BPs which are already downloaded
Now , the real problem is when we are trying to download a new Business partner . When we set the Filter ( BP no 003 ) in MW adaptor object CUSTOMER_MAIN and start the Initial load again , we see that the Outbound queue is getting stuck with message STOP .
There are two queues generated in SAP R/3 system with names MASS_CRM_CUSTOME and R3AD_CUSTOME . The status for both the queues is STOP and when go for details it mentions sapsuck ..SAPMSSY1 -Message no. SR 053.
Even we checked the txn SMW01, the Bdocs message is "Recived ( Intermediate state) " for Bdoc type BUPA_MAIN.
We really dont as to why the Initial load worked fine with 2 BPs and later when want to do more BP Initial Load the Outbound queue is getting stuck
Also , by unlocking the 2nd queue R3AD_CUSTOME we are able to release it , but the first queue MASS_CRM_CUSTOME* is stuck

We checked on this . Actually the RFC is used for connecting to SAP R/3 system.
We also raised an OSS message on this and found a reply that in transaction CRMM_BUPA_MAP, we can map the required BP . But the SAP support guy recived an error received the error:
An RFC link is not maintained in the Middleware
Message no. CRM_BUPA_MAPPING051
We have set the RFC link , but still the problem continues!!!

SAP ABAP Client proxy Errror occured when determining the Business system.

Dear Friends
I am trying to push data from ECC to PI and then MS-SQL Server. My SAP scenario is ABAP Proxy to JDBC
I have created on Enhancement Implementation for AS01 ( Asset Master creation). Here I am calling my ABAP proxy and uploading ANLA and ANLZ strucutre to my abap proxy. but I get the run time error. that suggest Error occurred while determining the Business system - SLD_API_Exception.
My all IR and ID objects are activated, I have tested the scenario successfully without error in ID,
When I check SM21 it suggest that error is due to XI is unable to access the SLD. Could_not_determine_sld_access_data.
SLDCHECK works fine in PI system.
SLDCHECK is failed in my ECCDEV 400 client System.
Is it mandatory to configure SLD access in ecc development system as well ? is this the reason why I am not able to push the data to my PI system? Please tell me How can I solve this error? you any answer will be appreciated greatly.

YES...you need to configure SLD check in your ECC System also

1) One way is checking the version and support pack applied.I.e,
On the main SAP screen > Systems > Status > Check details of the "Component version".
2) STMS > Double click on the system you need to check > Check the status of your request.

IDES and other Clients in one SAP ERP 2005 System

Hello everybody,
within a project for my master thesis i have to set up an SAP ERP 2005 System. This system should contain at least three clients. One of them should be the IDES client. Another client should be set up with an existing template. The third client should represent a smal company or at least i should set up some example process from the company (there is no need to map the whole company in the system). These processes should be realized with the SAP standard processes and they should just show how to map easy processes to SAP ERP. Neither the second nor the third client need to run in a productive environment, everything is just for training and testing.
My main Questions are:
I've already set up the SAP ERP 2005 System but without IDES. Can I still integrate the IDES Content or do i have to reinstall the whole System with a complete IDES Installation?
Can I implement the second and third client in the same ERP System (where the IDES client is) or do i need different Systems for it? Even if there is no productive use for the clients we would like to have a Development and a Quality Landscape. Is this possible with the IDES client? Actually I have two fast machines for this purpose - one for quality and one for development.
I would be very grateful for any hints.

You can use SAP IDES as Dev and Quailty.There is no diffrence in full sap or IDES .In IDES we have some pree configure Clients and full Ecc we have three client 000,001 and 066.
So you can use SAP IDES as DEV.

How to configure sap maxdb client to connect to SAP ERP system (SAP HR)

I am currently installing live cache for SAP ERP HR application(Idoc), can anybody tell me the sequence to proceed to configure SAP livecache with SAP ERP system. i am doing following steps
1. Install SAP DB using installation MAXDB CDs
2. Install SAP Livecache and standalone server SCM 5.0 using SAP ERP master and Livecache dvds.
3. install Livecache client fromSAP ERP master and livecache dvds between SAP ERP and livecache server.
4. configure in LC10, tcode.
but when i press on livecache monitoring in LC10 it gives me following error.

Just a note which is alittle off track from your question. Normally, the Portal takes the UME datasource from either LDAP or one of your backend system (where your CUA is).
For my case, I have my UME datasource as LDAP and one of the main reason being that there are management users who will use the Portal but does not exist in SAP backend systems or uses very limited SAP access. Secondly, if you want to do mass maintenance on users or groups, LDAP offer the possibilities (here I mean maintianing mass users to a group/s or users updates). Thus, LDAP became our CUA. Of course, its all up to you and who your target audience are
As for your Q1, GLM has already identified where you can find the UME and you can config it to point to the backend system. I'm not sure if you can have 2 UME datasource setup but I believe that you can't (maybe someone can confirm this out for you). This is also another reason for LDAP or the backend system as your CUA. You can connect multiple Portals UME datasource to a LDAP or a SAP backend CUA (thus users are created centrally and are replicated to the Portals).

Portal application connecting backend SAP R/3 system

 I am developing one portal application through NWDS. It's JSPDYNPage component.The applications functionality is basicaly is to connect it to backend SAP R/3 system & fetch some data in aparticular table & display that data in a tableview format on one JSP& also when i click any row of the tableview then details of that row should get displayed on the next JSP. So i reached till develpoing a code that connnects to Backend SAP R/3.(Basicaly coding of connection part is done). Now i need to test this code, to check whether it is fine or not? NWDS doesnt give nay error, not compile also or not runtime error also. It simply shows the output as a blank page, where it is supposed to display one line of text in textview(i coded this in my JSP).But as i said it displays a blank page. i tried to debug the application , but debugging also not worked.I performed the debugging twice in right way. The code was not debugged, it run the same way as it normally runs when debugging is off & shown the blank page. I also have done all the the settings or prerequisites for debugging properly. I am stuck at this point now.search many documents , but no relevant help has been received. Message-Pls wait while Windows configures SAP B1 Client

Hi,
While logging in to SAP B1,system is displaying a msg 'Please wait while Windows configures SAP B1 Client.' Same msg is displayed while connecting to DTW as well. Then it takes a few minutes to connect . What could be the reason? Will the uninstallation and reinstallation of SAP B1 client solve the problem? Since the license file has been imported , is it recommended to uninstall the SAP B1Client. This msg appears while logging in from client machines as well as Server machine.
We are working on SAP B1 8.8 PL 10 ,Localization India.
Please guide me.

Hi,
the message in the DTW can be removed by reinstalling the DTW. You can also do the same for B1 client. If this message appears only in the server's B1 client application, you can do there. If it is also happened in the user PC, you must also reinstall it.

R/3 Client Copy : Problem in BI.

Hi All,
Our Basis team have done the R/3 production copy to R/3 quality recently. These has created the problem in my BI development system.
We have a working BI development system which is connected to R/3 Quality as well as R/3 development and all standard data sources were succesfully implemented in BI dev from R/3 Quality previously.
After this Client coply i could not able to see any data source related to R/3 quality in my BI Dev system.
I have checked the RFC connection and it is OK.
I have checked the R/3 Quality also. All my CMOD routines have been removed.
I could not able to see data sources in RSA6 also.
As per my understanding this should not happen after client copy.
I do not want to retrasport all the tasks from R/3 dev to R/3 quality again.

Hi,
Once you copy/refresh the R/3 Qty with R/3 Prod you loose all Transports and settings, you need to re-import the TRs from R/3 Dev to R/3 Qty. Before that you need to set all settings between BW qty and r/3 qty.

Client System login takes more time

Still issue is not Resolved while i followed your steps. my user is accessing the system from USA and my server kept in India and the system taking 5-6 Min for Login in SAP. that's the reason the my client forcing to fix the issue.
After checking the some forum i had found the OSS Note :1135705, is it resolve my issue?

How to Introduce Client System in Standard Repositories

I am facing a problem to know how to add my client system in "VendorDemo" repository which is given as standard Repository by SAP MDM 5.5 SP2.
Is this not available in Demo system are is there any other method to add it ?

Hi Veera,
as to my knowledge, there are no restrictions regarding the number of client systems for the demo repositories. But in order to add a new client system [or edit an existing one] you have to unload the rep. first, then the context menu 'add cient system' is active. create your client system and load the repository again. There's no possibility whatsoever to create/edit client systems for a running rep.

SAP B1 Client not open

Hi all,
I try to upgrade the SAP for one of my client from SAP 2005b Pl 42 to SAP 2007b PL 10. The update process in the server is over and it is fine.
But for my Client machines the upgrade is running fine but after upgrade i will not see any databases on it, when i try to give the Server name and its username and password there will be a error msg appears as " internal error"
I found the reason that in Server machine the choose company window has a server name as MSSQL_2005 but in client machines it will appear as MSSQL. I think this is the reason for the problem,

Hi Sundar,
Please check any firewall and anti virus software is running of blocking the server and client communication. If it is so remove that blocking from the firewall list. If the same problem is persists again please install sql server native client in your client system.
After the installation is over, try to connect it again. Same problem is happening again uninstall the client in your machine and do the following
Goto run -- %temp% - delete all files (Particularly try to delete SM_OBS_DLL)
Goto Run u2013Temp u2013 Delete all files.
restart the machine and install the client.
This will solve the problem.
