SAP BUSINESS ONE SHOWING ERROR IN WINDOWS 7

Hello Experts !!!
This is the configuration of my client's laptop
operating system : windows 7 ultimate.
system type : 32 bit operating system.
ram : 1 gb
processor : inter (r) U1400 @ 1.20 ghz
i have installed sap business one 2007 b patch level 19.
then i choose company , in server it shows MSSQL instead of MSSQL 2005.
i click on change server to select the approriate server .
but even though it throws me an error saying that
" INTERNAL ERROR ( -1002 )"
AND MY SERVER IS INSTALLED ON WINDOWS SERVER 2003.
M CONNECTING THE CLIENTS LAPTOP THROUGH LAN.

Most of the times this message appears to users who have got .Net Framework 1.0 and 2.0 installed on their machines at the same time. That actually confuses the XL Reporter on which to run. I would recommend creating an XML file with the name as "SBOXLReporter.exe.config" and save it at the following XLReporter working location
C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\AddOns\XLR\XLReporter\Client\
Make sure u paste the following text as it is in that XML File and save it and then run XLReporter. Hope it works out.

We are exporting data to the SAP Business one. Error: "The field is too small to accept the data you attempt to add. try inserting or pasting less data"

Hi,
I have exported the data from two sources, MS-Excel and SAP Business One to Sap Business One (8.81). While exporting the data, I got the error "The field is too small to accept the data you attempt to add. try inserting or pasting less data" for the first time, Immediately when I run it again, it shows export successfully completed, but nothing is changed in the SAP Business One. Could you please provide the solution as early as possible?

SAP BUSINESS ONE INSTALLATION ERROR

Hi Experts,
I was installing SAP Business one PL5 on a client's computer.
During the Server tools installation we are prompted to enter a password for B1SiteUser. It installs successfully but during the SAP Business one Sever installation I get an error when I enter the B1siteuser I entered earlier.
Attached is the error .
Please urgent help will be much appreciated.

Hi Justice,
I had faced the same error while installing.
What you can do is first uninstall server tools
1)delete the SAP folder which would have been
created in the C:Porgam files.(Default).If its another location just check and delete it permanently.
2)Then in the MSSQL Server ->SQL Configuration manager ->Protocols for MSSQLSERVER->enable TCP/IP
3)Install the server tools and Enter b1 site user password again(this option will come only if you delete the SAP folder ).preferably use different password then what you used for Database password.
4)While installing the Server, keep open the SQL configuration manager the License authentication screen wont popup, directly you will go to next installation step.
It worked for me, hope it helps

SAP Business one Login error?

Hi experts,
A customer was unable to login to SAP Business one. He gets the error,"Internal Error".
I uninstalled SAP and reinstalled it. He was able to login and work and after two days he can not login again.
He keeps having the same error.
He has been using SAP on his machine for a very long time without this error.
Urgent Help is needed.

1. There could be some network error.
2. start sap as right click run as administrator.Check whether error comes or not?

"No data" in SAP Business One

Hi,
We have encountered the following issue.
Using the SAP mobile application (version 1.1.3 (Android) - 1.9.6 iOS)), we connect successfully to database but when we try to open the Business Partners and Items, a "No Data" message appears.
If I insert a BP in mobile, the SAP Business One show these BP that I insert, but in the App I have the message "No data".
What could be causing that?

DI-API Error Company Connect with SAP BUSINESS ONE 2004 - B 7.30.215

Hi,
I am using SAP BUSINESS ONE 2004 - B 7.30.215. But in the COM window of the Visual Studio.net is having only
SAPbobsCOM 6.2 and 6.5.
While executing the DI connecting program It is showing an error
the error is -2028 (without description)

Is your problem with the connection? Have you tried to connect using the Data Transfer Workbench? Where do you get this error -2028? Please post your code so we can see what the problem is.

SAP Business One 8.8. Report doesn't show and workstation doesn't respond.

Hi all,
We have a customer with:
SAP Business One 8.8 (8.80.237) PL: 19 HOTFIX1.
Sql Server 2005
Crystal Reports 12.1.3.1028
We have done some reports wich run under server machine but not under workstation.
Even i've done a dummy report without any data connection and it doesn't run under workstation (server machine works perfectly). This dummy report only show a label with static text "Hola".
We don't receive any error message, SAP Business One client doesn't respond and in task manager you can see "not responding" message.
SAP support connected to our customer installation and they suggested us formatting workstations computers. We did it but the problem persists. Thank you very much for your help.

In this case, why you not responded to SAP for their suggestion of formatting the workstation?
If you unfortunately closed the old support ticket, then just raise a new support ticket with reference of the old one too.

How to run SAP BUSINESS ONE 8.8 clients on windows and use MaxDB on linux/W

Good day,
As the subject shows we have SAP BUSINESS ONE 8.8 and I want to find out how to use it in combination with MaxDB instead of MS SQL. I find a lot of MaxDB stuff on the net but no guides on how to setup SAP BUSINESS ONE 8.8 clients on windows workstations and connect them to MaxDB.
Is this possible and if so how do I go about doing it ?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated .

I suggest you to check the supported server for B1 in this link:
http://service.sap.com/smb/sbo/platforms
You will know the sap b1 supported platform.
If you really want to use maxDB on linux/W as B1 server, you can send a development request to SAP AG.

Trying to install SAP Business One 8.8 on a clean Windows 7 professional pc

Hi, i am trying to install SAP Business One V 8.8 on a clean Windows 7 professional laptop. I need to install the server and client sides. I have already installed SQL server express 2005.
When i try to to install the server software I get the error message 1628 installation failed almost straight away. I ket the same message if I try and install the server tools, SBo server or outlook integration.
What am I doing wrong?

Solution to Problem ID :1618
Try the following Steps :
1. Clear the 'Temporary' Folder of Windows 7 : Start ->Run->%temp%->Press 'Enter'->Select All & Delete
2. Restart your machine. (This is Must)
Actually it keeps an image of the previous installations, so always for re-installation you need to perform this steps.
Same is with Win 2008 Server editions also.
Now proceed with the installation and remember always run SBO installations in Windows 7 and 2008 Server by clicking on 'Run as Administrator'
Hope your problem would be solved.

Error when starting SAP Business One Integration Server Service

Hi all,
I have a very urgent problem when installing B1iSN:
I'm installing B1iSN2007 for a customer (Windows server2008R2, SBO 8.8.1),
and at the beginning of the installation, after instaling the technology, I have an error,
The Tomcat server can't start.
I get the following error:
Windows could not start the SAP Business One Integartion service on Local Computer. For more Information, review the system
event Log.If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 0.
In the event viewer I didn't find any more details.
In the tomcat logs (Under SAP Business One Integration\B1iServer\tomcat\logs) I find this:

I didn't install EventSender and DIProxy yet, I tried first to upload and deploy the zip files, but I couldn't open the Itegration Application Explorer.
2.
The jvm.dll file is in in the folder pointed by the logs: C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One Integration\jdk1.5.0_xx_sap\jre\bin\server
and it is also in C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One Integration\jdk1.5.0_xx_sap_64\jre\bin\server
I tried running the file java5w.exe, but I got an error message:
Access is denied
Unable to open the service tomcat5
Thne I managed to open it by "rua as administrator".
the Java Virtual Machine path is points to the java 1.5 version folder.
Is it possible that the reason that the service can't start is related to administrator rigts??
In the properties in the Integration Service (services.msc):
It is set to be run with the local system account.
all other properties looks fine.
in the properties of the tomcat5.exe (and tomcat5w.exe , I tried both)
In the Compatibility tab I tried setting the flag "Run this program in compatibility mode for" to Vista, windows 7, and server 2008
I didn't have the option of Windows XP.
I have also set the Privilege level of: "Run this program as administrator" to true.
But still the service won't start.
What can be the problem?
What else can I check?

Error: No SAP Business one application is running

Hi
I got error "No SAP Business one application is running" when try to start our Add-on from SBO Client using remote desktop.
Problem Description: Add-on has been installed on server successfully. I want to access remote desktop of the client machine, and when login remotly to the client machine and open SBO client and start our addon from addon manager then it gives the above error.
If we dont access the client machine remotely and login to the client machine directly then addon connected well.
suggest me what to do to resolve this error.

We use Windows Terminal Services Client to access training systems - without issues.
Do you use sth like Citrix with load balancing?
There such issues might happen, but I don't have a real good idea what the issue might be in your case.
Maybe someone else has experienced the same problem - and resolved it?

Windows Workflow Foundation and SAP Business One

Does anyone here have any experience creating Windows Workflow Foundation (.NET 3.5) activities and workflows that interact with SAP Business One?
A lot of examples in books show how easy it is to use workflows to write directly to a database, but we obviously cannot do that with SBO.
I am most interested in where to place the code to log into the DI-API and how to pass that connection to the individidual activities.

This could be done with some work using the DI Server and Business One Web Services (B1WS). You can get more detail on B1WS from the Tools section of main SAP Business One page here on SDN ... although it does not go into WFS or WF.
In the future when eSOA services are delivered for SAP Business One ... you will see that WF can be used much more easily. This is an area that SAP is investigating ... keep a lookout on SDN!
