One of the best kept secrets in the SAP world is the SAP International Research Forum (IRF).
"The IRF is an invitation-only think tank with renowned international academic and industry leaders as well as experts and thought-leaders from various areas discussing the latest IT trends. Results and subsequent discussions from the IRF are being worked up and continued via regular book publications". This event occurs annually.

I'm not sure that it is actually possible to parameterize the DYNR. Anyway, it would still leave you the problem that the field descriptors in the command interface would all be wrong.
My suggestion for getting around this is to make several recordings using the SAPGUI command, creating a new command for each screen change. You can then edit the script so that the different cases between which you want to differentiate are separated by IF...ELSEIF...ENDIF commands.
You might then have something that looks like this (pseudocode):
* SAPGUI command for common "opening part" of transaction
IF (subtype = 'LA').
*SAPGUI covering screen 2001
ELSEIF (subtype = 'LW').
* SAGPGUI covering screen 2000
ENDIF.
* SAPGUI for common "closing part" of transaction - if relevant.

500 SAP Internal Server Error, in WD report while launching SC in SRM 7.01

Dear SAP WD Gurus,
We have recently upgraded the SRM 7.0 to EHP1 after that we are getting ths below
We have created Z WD application genarating report in SRM 7.0, we have provided a hytep link in row to display shopping cart in the report. on click of display we are getting error as below on Browser (Portal)
500 SAP Internal Server Error
ERROR: WebDynpro Exception: URLhttp// XXXXXX may contain fatal script (termination: RABAX_STATE)
where the URL is properly working fine if we run through browser.
and even getting dump as below
What happened?
    The exception 'CX_WD_GENERAL' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere along
    the call hierarchy.
    Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not
    adequately responded to, the running ABAP program
     'CX_WD_GENERAL=================CP' has to be
    terminated.

FYI this is the wrong forum. Even though the problem started taking place after an UPG/EHP, this is still a matter for the Portal team, not the ugprade one
Anyhow I'll try to help you. This dump is mostly seen when you call the webdynpro from a non-supported browser. Please check PAM (http://service.sap.com/PAM) for the supported ones.
Are you using a SM59 call to the WD? You can not connect to a Webdynpro
application via SM59 as SM59 is not a supported. You can only use the browser visible in the PAM to access WD. /* e.G. IE 6.0, IE 7.0, Firefox */

i am supposed to develop a program that upload the MS-Access DB table to SAP internal table. I have received the code wich is ok...but i am failed to provide it porper input as i am not receiving n e values in internall tables. please help me to understand this program i am providing you its source code which i received from this forum only...apart from it, is there n e other alternative to upload the data from MS access to SAP . Value of new field in SAP internal table does not appear in HTML

There is already an existing web application. (has both SAP and HTML programs)
I only need to add one field in the SAP internal table and display the value in HTML.
I activated and pushed the publish button in SAP.
Still, it is not read successfully in HTML and therefore not displayed in the GUI.
What step did I miss?

To publish completely an internet service, try SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL transaction.

Function module for convert date as sap internal format ?

Hi All,
Is there any standard function module to convert the date filed as SAP internal date?
My problem is while uploading data from excel sheet date filed can be any format
for exp: dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy or yyyy/dd/mm or dd-mm-yyyy,mm-dd-yyyy
             dd-mm-yyyy or dd.mm.yyyy or mm.dd.yyyy etc...
In our case there is no particular format in excel it can be differ for each user. I know we have few FM's in standard.
But those are not working for my req. pls help me if you have any idea.

BAdI definition BADI_SD_SALES_ITEM is only provided for SAP internal use

I tried to create an implementation for the BADI BADI_SD_SALES_ITEM . It gave the following error message .

I want to use the method ITEM_CHECK in this BADI .is there a way to write a code in this method by creating an implementation for this BADI.

It means that BADI can be used only by SAP, i.e. it can be used only on the original SAP system, so not in a customer system as yours.
See the table SXS_ATTR, here you can find the attributes of the BADI, in particular you can see the flag FOR ONLY INTERNAL USE.
If this flag is active and the system isn't a SAP system, that error'll occur.

Hi Diana,
On 4.7 at least, it is not released for external use by customers.. There is a SAP note out there that says the same thing -- and tells you to use the standard exits (eg. MV45AFZZ)
Guess SAP created it in case they need to enhance the standard, and they don't want us to touch it yet.

Does this message mean that this BADI is not modifiable? 'Coz this is the only BADI appropriate for my requirements.

You cannot use this badi as it is used by SAP for internal use...Check for other badis which is not internal use.

As regard to php sample, sorry we don't such sample so far.
Per php, I recommend you to B1WS, a web service wrapper of DI Server for only those 45 services objects. You can download B1WS here: SDK Tools Download:

From technical perspective, DI Server is based DCOM technology, I am not sure it is natively supported php. So you may think about wrapping DI server as web server with ASP.net, just like B1WS. php<=>web server<=>DI server

Workflow for P.O release to send sap internal mail

I am trying to configure Workflow for the following scenario of release. Please guide me how to configure the same in sequence with t-code.
We have two level of release procedure for P.O depending upon P.O value.
When P.O created the first approver should to get SAP internal e-mail.
Once 1st release done then 2nd approvar should get the SAP internal e-mail.
When final release is done then Creater of the P.O should get the intimation about the final release in his mail box.
Please guide with Workflow ID's and task and where to assign agent etc.

I tried to do the setting as instructed in many threads. Result is as follows.
When I create a contract 1st approver receing the mail, but after releasing workflow status is still inprocess and the 2nd approver is not getting any mail.
As I did work arroung job I am not able to understad the exact process(Sequnce of setting) to be done.
That is why I posted in thread.
Please guide the flow of setting.

Email to distribution list from SAP Internal Email

I have a scenario where in I have to send email from sap internal email (T-code:-SBWP) to the distribution list.
Can some one give me some idea on the same .
When we go to T-code: - SBWP, for unread email we right click and fwd the email to distribution list, can we achieve the same functionality by a program so that we can automate the process.

Hi,
Yes ,one can write an ABAP code to send the mail to a distribution list.
Please try and use the Function Module 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' and you need to pass the import and export parameters to this FM which needs to be defined and populated before you use this FM.
The first Exporting parameter is 'document_data' which will be of type 'sodocchgi1'.In order to populate this, you can use the structure of type 'sodocchgi1' and give the name, description, sensitivity and the language by referring to the data type mentioned above('sodocchgi1').
The next is the document type and you can mention any one of them from 'RAW' to anything again refering to the document type.
The next are the tables parameters and the first one is "object_content" which would be of type "solisti1" and you need to populate this one as well.This table would contain the contents of the mail.
The next Tables parameters is "receivers" which would be of type 'somlreci1' and in order to populate this,you need to use the below like code:
smtp_addr = any valid email id.
      gi_recievers-receiver = smtp_addr.
      gi_recievers-rec_type = 'U'.
      gi_recievers-com_type = 'INT'.
      APPEND gi_recievers.
once this is done, an email will be sent to the recipient which can be monitored in the T-code SCOT and SOST.It will take sometime for the mail to be sent as there is a fixed timeline after which the R/3 system pushes the mails through it to the recipients.
