  • Recipe Management- BAPI_BUS1077_CREATE - Restrictions do not apprear

    Hi,
I'm using BAPI_BUS1077_CREATE to create a specification in the SAP Recipe Management Module, but, the values for 'Rating' and 'ValArea' do not get populated in the 'Restrictions' tab of the Specification header.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,

    Hi Shalabh Jain,
Then I think, you should check the content of the table sub_tab_wa-usage_tab in the BADI (BAPI_BUS1077_CREATE).
Please check the settings of the parameters during the bulding of the header usages. There are some different options.

    Hi Gurunadh Kumar
It is not easy to read your question, anyway I made it and let me try to summarize it before providing your the solution:
Reproducing steps when configuring the webservices(SAP ME) in CE 7.1 EHP1.
    1. Log on to SAP NetWeaver Administrator Console by launching the following URL: http://:/nwa.
    2. Choose SOA Management Application and Scenario Communication Single Service Administration .
    3. Search for the Web service: Eg. BOMProcessingIn
    4. Select port type
    5. In the bottom window, select associated ServicePort
    6. Choose the Security tab.
    7. Choose Edit.
    8. Select the Transport protocol.
    9. Check the UserID/Password under HTTP Authentication.
    10. Save while saving I am getting an error :
A problem in the backend. Please refresh the UI. Log Message:  Message:
    [EXCEPTION] com.sap.esi.esp.admin.ui.helper.exceptions.TechnicalException:
Problem occured at the backend. Please refresh the UI.
I have checked through the exception stack traces, this should be caused by the patch level inconsistency between the following
    components on your CE7.11 system:
       - ESP_FRAMEWORK
       - ENGINEAPI
       - J2EE-FRMW
To resolve this problem, please download the lastest patch for all the above software components as per the current SP level,
and deploy them to your system, then try the same steps again.

  • Linking DMS to a Content Repository for Recipe Management

How do I link a document type to a content repository?
This is for Recipe Management. When I look in DC10 I can see that there is a document type of RMS for Recipe Management.
I assume this means Recipe Management is connected toDMS
I have created a content repository ZRM using OAC0.
How do I make the link between the document type RMS in DMS and the content repository ZRM?

Thanks for the reply but it isn't really what I was after.
I am only the basis guy so I am not sure of the application but my expectation is that users will save a document with a document type of RMS. This document should be saved to a Content Repository
What you have described is how to save a type of document such as MS Word to a particular repository. I was hoping that Recipe Management documents (possibly MS Word, possibly not) would go to a Recipe Management Repository.
There still might be the possibility that documents (possibly MS Word) for other projects e.g. packaging could be written to a different repository.
What I am hoping for is a link from the document type RMS in DC10 to the Content Repository defined in OAC0.
I have a suspicion this is via the category defined by OACT.
The link from SAP DMS to Content Repository seems fundamental to me. I am surprised no one has the answer
...or perhaps I have completely missed the point?

  • Recipe Management: Some Questions

    Hi,
Currently I'm working on the recipe management and have some questions, hope you can help.
I could solve most of my previous questions, but now there's a new one.
If I click in the formula view, register (i. e.) composition on the button "Transfer to Spec. of Pr. Output" or "Calculate Template Values" I'm getting a dump:
"When calling the function module "FRML565_WRITE_PO_TO_EHS", one of the parameters needed according to the interface description was not specified. This parameter was "IO_OBJECT"."
    Any idea what's going wrong?

  • Landscape for implementing Recipe Management

    Hello All,
Can someone kindly guide me as what's the recommended Landscape for Recipe Management, for example should two different ECC clients should be mantained ?, Recipe Management Recipes/Specifications stored in first 'source box' and Supply Chain data like BOM and Master Recipe stored in target box (basically creating bom/master recipe using transformation process from source box) ???. Kindly please throw some light and also how data is distributed between the two clients. Is Material Master first created in Supply Chain Box (target box), than ALE'd to source box, where it can be linked to Specifications??
Kindly let me know if I am thinking in correct direction, and also how to connect the 2 boxes?
    Thanks in advance.
    Sachin

    Hi Sachin,
I think u r right abt the path proposed. However, i am adding few lines further. When implementing ALE functions it has to be ensured that the SAP system is implemented in a well structured way in both clients. Also it has to be ensured that during installation of ALE,  the specification global settings and process functions are not altered in any way.
If ALE business processes are supported, functions and processes must be defined on a cross-system basis. The message types exchanged between the systems are defined in the distribution model. To implement the distribution of business application processes and functions using ALE it is indeeded to construct a logical Distribution Model of the whole system.
Within the framework of this configuration, customers can specify which applications are to run on which systems and which messages are to be exchanged between the applications. For example the Master data distribution for logistics is .
You can specify the relationships between logical systems, message types, BAPIs and filters in the distribution model. Applications and the ALE layer use the model to determine receivers and to control the data distribution.
For more information about maintaining the distribution model see the Customizing Implementation Guide (IMG):
Application Server -  IDoc Interface/Application Link Enabling (ALE): Modeling and Implementing Business Processes and Maintaining the Distribution Model
Go thru the link for clarity on the implementation of IDoc interface/ electronic data interchange between the clients and master data.

  • Recipe Management: Reporting out of rmwb

    Hi Experts,
what kind of ways do I have to generate reports out of recipe management, without having the EHS Module licensed?
For example there is the option to generate reports, but as I see the EHS module is neccessary for usage. An other way is the button "output" above the navigation area. But this option is not very good-looking in my eyes. Is there any other way?
For example I want to execute some reports like "in which formula is substance xy included" or a list over all substances or I want to execute a search over physical and chemical parameters.
Are these requests provided by standard or is there any other way to provide reports like this? Or do I have to write some reports?
    Thanks for your time,
    Tan

That you are forwarded to websmp201 is ok.
Haven't you been asked for a User ID and PW when opening the site?
When I logon with my C-User (for SAP partners) I see on the left side a menu tree structure with an entry 'Demos'.
I think it should also be possible to access this page for SAP customers (but I am not quite sure).
If you open <a href="http://service.sap.com">http://service.sap.com</a> you will find on the lower part a screen the 'How to Sign in'-section. Maybe this helps.

  • Data Sources related to Recipe Management?

    Hi All,
My requirement is to extract data into BW systems on Recipe Management from ECC system.
(RM is a part of Production Planning for Process Industries. We get this from PLM RM 2.10 on SAP R/3 Enterprise PLM Extension (1.10))
Please let me know the standard SAP datasource(s) for Recipe Management module of SAP.
    Regards,
    Ravikiran.

    Hi Gaurav,
Seems like there is no direct way. Can you tell the BO version?
In case you know the universes in which that table has been used then you can take out the list of Webi reports using Query Builder.

  • U00A7RM How product labeling is done in ERP6.0-Recipe management

    Hi,
How product labeling is done in existing ERP 6.0 - Recipe Management module to print diet label, nutrient label etc?
If you have any idea, please reply.
    Thanks & Regrads
    Avinash
Edited by: Avinash Patil on Aug 5, 2009 2:28 PM

    Hi,
the PLM recipe management labeling is part of the business function set PLM_RM_PRODUCT_LABELING in the Enhancement Package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0.
With the business function, you can activate the PLM-RM-LBL component. You use this component to create and manage label sets with which you can create print templates for labels, for example.
You find more information in the online documentation for labeling or in the documentation of the business function set:
    example:
    Integration
Labeling is connected to Recipe Management as well as to specification management and phrase management from the Environment, Health and Safety component by means of Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) in the enhancement spot RMSL_LABEL. (See Recipe Management, Specification Management, and Phrase Management).
In specification management, you manage specifications of substances from which the system determines the data for a label set. In phrase management, you define phrases, which you can assign to a label set as marketing statements, footnotes, or diet statements

  • Recipe management - Phantom compostion explosion in recipe

I am loading recipes into RM based on a BOM report.
Certain material have components that are Phantom assemblies and I want to create the recipe with the components of the phantom.
How are component quantities of a phantom composition to be calculated when exploded in the referring composition?
    Example:
    Material M1 has a phathom component P2 @ 500KG
    P2 has components C1 @ 300KG, C2 @ 200KG, C3 @ 300KG
    Note: 500 not equal 300 + 200 + 300
The recipe for M1 will contain components C1, C2 and C3
How do I determine the quantities for C1, C2 and C3 in M1 recipe?
Is there a function module I can use?

    Hi fforster01,
There is nothing like dumb question. These forums are for knowledge gaining and knowledge sharing.
I am not much aware of Recipe Management in ECC 6.0.

  • Recipe Hierarchy - Recipe Management

    Hi experts!
I was wondering if somebody can give me some advice regarding the Recipe Hierarchy in RM.
I would like to create a Recipe Hierarchy that enables having Formulas in three levels. As Standard, Recipe Management Hierarchy is as follows:
    1. General Recipe
    2. Site Recipe
    3. Master Recipe
However, the Master Recipe can't contain any formula. So I am thinking of creating a new recipe type as copy of the Site Recipe and trying to assign it to a "standard" site recipe. But the system does not allow this.
Have anyone created custom recipe hierarchy with custom recipe types?
Any info will be very helpful.
    Thanks a lot in advance!
    Amaia

    Hi Amaia,
For the definition of new recipe types the following steps are necessay:
    - IMG activity Specify Specification Types under the EH&S -> Basic Data and Tools -> Specification Management -> Specification Master
    - IMG activity Recipe Settings under the IMG for the Recipe Management -> Recipe
    - IMG activity Set Up Versioning under the IMG for the Recipe Management
Please, create the new recipe types with reference to the SAP standard types (general recipe or site recipe).
It is possible to create the recipe hierarchy with different general or site recipe types (tab page Hierarchy of the recipe).
In the navigation tree of the workbench you have the possiblity to select the layout for the recipe hierarchy.
    I hope, it helps.
    Best regards,
    Roland

  • Questions on SAP Strategy Management

    Dear Experts,
I am very new to SAP Strategy Management (SSM). I already tried to find some information about it in the web, but unfortunately most documents only provide high level information (mostly marketing slides). Therefore I would be grateful if you could answer the following questions:
    1. SSM provides charts for data visualization. Is there an overview of supported chart types? Is there a source which gives further information about chart customization?
    2. SSM provides a collaboration functionality that enables user to add comments. Can comments only be maintained on query level, or also by navigation state (e.g. comment is only shown, when navigating to Calendar Year 2006 and Company Code 4711)?
    3. Is it possible to print comments / export comments combined with charts / reports to PDF
    4. Can users upload documents (e.g. MS Word docs)?
    5. A new version was just released which is supposed to have a better integration with SAP BI. What are the improvements in terms of integration? How can SAP BI data be accessed?
    6. What are the current system requirements for SSM?
    7. Where can a documentation on SSM be found (I could unfortunately only find an installation guide on service.sap.com)?
Thanks a lot for your help!
    Marco
Edited by: Marco on Sep 15, 2008 10:22 AM

    Marco,
Here is some information about SAP Strategy Management:
    1. SSM provides charts for data visualization. Is there an overview of supported chart types? Is there a source which gives further information about chart customization?
Strategy Management provides out-of-the-box packaged reporting templates: Benchmarking, Trending, Percent Contributions within subtotals, Exceptions, Rankings, Ad-Hoc reporting of multiple dimensions & metrics.
With Strategy Management, you can also provide links to reports or charts in other applications for further drill-down or exploration.
    2. SSM provides a collaboration functionality that enables user to add comments. Can comments only be maintained on query level, or also by navigation state (e.g. comment is only shown, when navigating to Calendar Year 2006 and Company Code 4711)?
Comments are added by users to specific areas and can be defined as to which user groups have access or visibility to these comments. These comments are directly associated with a specific area (i.e. objective, KPI, initiative, etc.) with a tagging icon to show individual users if there are new, unread, comments since their last access to system.
Comments are added at the user interface level and would be stored in either the MaxDB or SQL database, depending on how the implementation was configured.
    3. Is it possible to print comments / export comments combined with charts / reports to PDF
Strategy Management has an Operational Review function that allows users to capture screenshots, annotate them and publish as a pdf report.
    4. Can users upload documents (e.g. MS Word docs)?
Throughout Strategy Management is the ability to provide links to other reports, internal or external documentation, as well as other applications. Best practices would have an associated link to documents.
    5. A new version was just released which is supposed to have a better integration with SAP BI. What are the improvements in terms of integration? How can SAP BI data be accessed?
The improvements are an administrator tool that provides a basic user interface to simplify the handling of BI connectivity: importing schemas, defining virtual measures, creating scorecard metrics, and importing data.
    6. What are the current system requirements for SSM?
That information can be found in the installation guides. There is a Master Guide and a Sizing Guide which will both be helpful.
    7. Where can a documentation on SSM be found (I could unfortunately only find an installation guide on service.sap.com)?
The best public resource for documention about SSM is the BPX Community> Enterprise Performance Management
    Hope this is helpful,
    Bob
