We are an Implementation & Support Team and we are getting SAP Security handover from the Onshore Implementation team where in future we ought to continue the Implementation.
Please could you let me know what others documents which we require for handling the complete security landscape for our Scenario!

How to pass Security Header from the Physical Service in ODSI

We have to call a secured Web service using ODSI. We are trying to build a physical service in ODSI using a WSDL which has username token with password text policy inside it. The requests to that web service are bound by the security policy. But ODSI is not allowing us to create a Physical service usin a WSDL with a security policy in it. How can we then pass the security header from the ODSI physical service to the external web service.

You would need to write a webservice handler for your physical data service to implement the security.

How can I access my home security DVR from the internet?

My Time Capsule (as a router and not a bridge) blocks me from accessing my home security DVR from the internet. I can access it from other computers connected to my LAN but not from the internet. I guess it's a firewall setting issue. I can't add the home security application to the list of firewall allowed incoming connections since it's a Windows app that I cannot install on my Mac. On the other hand, the app is installed on my old PC but I can't access the Mac firwall settings from the PC and add the security app (If that's the problem).
My DVR is connected to a Netgear switch which is connected to the Time Capsule which is connected to a Cisco modem provided by Comcast. I thought one of the modem ports had to be opened by Comcast. That was not the issue. After spending 2 hours on the phone with Comcast going in circles talking to 10 different overseas agents, they concluded the Netgear switch was blocking me from accessing the DVR. I think they are wrong and that it's a Mac firewall problem. HELP!!! Does anyone know what could be the problem and how to solve it?

Did you forward the required ports in the TIme Capsule? If not it won't work.. it has nothing to do with firewall unless the DVR is plugged into the Mac. If it is plugged into a switch you need to lock the IP of the DVR and find out what ports are required.. usually just port 80, ie html.. but it could be some others.
Since Apple do not use upnp to open ports.. the TC will have to manually be provided with the ports.. Apple use PMP-NAT that is not used by the rest of the known world.. Just to ensure you stay in the camp.

If you are unable to empty the trash, try holding the Option key while selecting Empty Trash.

Receiving an error when trying to remove P00 Security role from the user

I am receiving an error when trying to remove P00 Security role from the user.
After logging on to GRC CUP, clicking on u201CCreate requestu201D, and filling out required information,
I click on Select Roles/Groups
On the next screen,
I click on Existing Roles/Groups
ERROR MESSAGE appears X Action failed and no roles appear in the box to select for removal.

Functional Area -

Select ALL
Role/Profile/Group Names --- Give p00* and execute the report
if you give only p00 it wont give any result

Usually there is some subtle difference other than the security code. E.g. your bank/credit card company says you live on Easy Street but you wrote Easy St. Compare your bank/credit card statement with the information you are trying to give Apple. If they don't match, for any reason, validation will fail with the same error message. No point giving the potential ID thief clues is there?

I have the same problem.
Although i try it use jdk1.5.0.16, the same err occured.
Also i use the jce_policy-1_5_0.zip.

to

Providing better tooling around Responsive Web Design (separate from the Fluid Grid Layout system) is excellent news. I'm really looking forward to that, as well as the improvements to Code View. My main concern is not so much the feature we all know as Design View, and its planned demise at some point, but that there is an ongoing effort to bring the super fast content production and editing features of Design View into a live rendering of a web page or mobile app. Of all the applications that I have tested, including Webflow, Macaw, Reflow, and Pinegrow, none of them have been able to provide the same level of speed and efficiency for producing and managing large volumes of content (text, images, and other assets) as Design View. If anyone knows of such a tool, please share it. I would love to give it a test run.
I get it, Dreamweaver deserves a great design surface. We need a surface that we can build and style structures on; one that gives us an accurate representation of the design itself, while still producing good code. Design View is no longer that surface, if it ever was. But what it lacks as a design surface, it makes up for as a content production and editing surface - many times over. From my chair, Design View is the best website content production and editing surface that I have ever used, while Live View, with its tedious HUD system, is quite possibly the worst. Why spend months (maybe years) attempting to force Live View to do what Design View already does really well? Why do that when you could simply re-purpose Design View and move on?
I understand that you can't leave Design View in, as it is, for very much longer. The name itself just doesn't fit its originally intended purpose. So find a new name, give it a new purpose.
I build mobile apps in Dreamweaver using jQuery Mobile as my framework. The last app I built was a trivia game with 100 pages. That's 4 HTML files representing the 4 levels, with each file containing 25 <div data-role="page"> questions, and each question a right and wrong modal popup panel for the answers. Obviously, the plan was to have a data driven solution for producing those pages, but that's another story for another time. Having Live View available next to Code View really is a very useful workflow, but had I built that app with Fluid Grid Layout (Not that I would, I'm just making a point) prior to the latest 2014.1 release, then I would no longer have access to Design View for editing the contents of that app. How would I edit the content on "data-role" page 65 for example? Try to play the game in Live View until I reach that section? Use Code View? There are over 2000 lines of code in each HTML file. Code View is not a viable content production and editing surface, and neither is Live View. Design View on the other hand, is exactly that.
I spent several hours working on an update to an older jQM app a few days ago. I recorded a lot of that maintenance session. You might be interested in seeing just how difficult it is attempting to edit existing content in Live View over time. It's not pretty. It seems that Live View is not always editable. It stops being editable over, and over, and over, causing me to have to wait - with my project timer ticking on. Hundreds of unnecessary clicks just to activate the editable features of Live View. How is that better than clicking once in Design View? How is hundreds of unnecessary clicks in Live View better than clicking once to switch over to Design View - where speed and efficiency live? Finally I gave up, turned back the timer, switched over to Design View, and I was back in business.
One of the main components of every next-generation web design app that I've tested, is the ability to see and interact with your HTML structures on the design surface as you work. I assume you will be developing tooling around this for your upcoming Responsive Design feature, otherwise it's probably not going to be very useful. So do you add another button to turn these visual controls off? You could do what the Reflow team did, add a Preview Mode. Wouldn't that be something - a Preview Mode for Live View? ;-)
Maybe the future of web design is a surface that is equally brilliant at designing HTML structures as it is with the production and editing of mountains of content. Maybe you will blow the competition out of the water this year by creating exactly that with Dreamweaver's Editable Live View. Or maybe next year, or the next, or the next, or...

Can a procedure have different security settings from the person running it

I've seen on many occasions that people advocate updates to the database are performed through database procedures, and I'd like to do this. However, my understanding is that the procedure 'inherits' the security permissions of the user running it? If so, then how is it possible to 'expose' a procedure call to a user which allows them to perform inserts/updates/deletes etc, and yet at the same time, only allow the user to perform selects on the base table?
I simply want to ensure that the database is protected from changes that do not go through 'proper channels'...

It's true when the procedure has been defined with 'invoker rights'.
Default would however be that the procedure inherits the security permissions of the user that created the stored procedure (definer rights).

Importing custom created security profiles from a .csv or .xls document

We have a prerequisite where we need to create custome security profiles as per the requirement.
These security profiles I have created in an excel sheet and wish to import it in the server.
The reason behind creating the security profiles through excel sheet is that in the future we will be working on a new server. So instead of doing any rework we can directly import from this excel sheet.
For creating a security profiles through an excel sheet, I have mentioned the following things in the excel sheet.
1. In a "eso_security_profiles" i have mentioned the profile name,description,internal ID, etc..

Hi Vaishali,
I understand that you need these security profiles in another server going forward. I would suggest another way around rather.
Please create the Security profiles in SAP Sourcing itself, then export the OMA file. When you move into another server please import this OMA file. This will serve the purpose of having the new security profiles in the new server.
If you are modifing something in the workbook, then you should carefully review field details. As I am not sure which version of SAP Sourcing and details of workbook, so I would suggest the above way to try out.

There is a simple solution provided by SAP to trigger the BILLING DOCUMENTS for Deliveries
This is a standard process
Setup a Job in SM36 for the program SDBILLDL and it will pick all the delivery document which are open on that particular Billing date
and process the Billing documents
Alternatively you can also create the IDOC to trigger the BILLING DOCUMENTS
For which you need to setup the PARTNER PROFILES, MESSAGE TYPES, PORT, RFC DESTINATION, SEGMENT CREATION,
But i would suggest you to go with the standard program to create the Billing documents

Hi Dev,
You need to create another report program for the other document along with the smartform.
In the report program, you have to put your logic on how the other document has to be found when your document is created and the output be triggered.
So in principle,
There will be two programs linked to your output type.
One will create the output of the document which is being created,
Another program will automatically call the other target document in change mode and trigger the same output, during which the second program will be executed.
Now the second program will create the output for the second document.
Making copy controls wont help for this reqmt.

Also, the Quick Menu does not show any functions in the Print or Manual & Device Information sections. This problem is only on my iMac (OS X 10.8.5). The printer works fine on my PC. For the iMac I have downloaded the Mini Master Setup driver and then the Quick Menu and EZ Photo print software. Can anyone help? I've been at for several days and am beyond frustrated!
