SAPScript: Positioning A Text

Dear All,
Is there any way to set the position of a text ?
Something like ..drawing boxes, we use
POSITION XORIGIN '2.0' CM
POSITION YORIGIN '2.0' LN
I am doing a table print out by drawing boxes, and the text is positioned by using  ",," and space,   ,,, ... kind of  troublesome...
Thank you ....

HEllo,
No. I think it is not possible.
U can do with the help of TABS in paragraph format.

  • Indent /tab position for text from INCLUDE texts in SAPscript

    Hi, ABAP colleagues!
Need your help on this sapscript problem:  How to align texts taken from "INCLUDE TEXT" in SAPscript, according to tab defined in Paragraph Format?
Or, how to control tab positions for texts which were extracted from “INCLUDE text” commands in SAPscript?
I defined a paragraph format with tab stop at 8 CH so that with 2 commas (,,) my text will be displayed there.  However it always appears to the left (e.g. 1st column) and not indented at the proper column for description/text (e.g. which is in second column).
Pls help, bec a different heading and information is not acceptable to client for the Thailand characters.
Above is the description of the problem.  Below are some technical details.
For specific example, I am editing Zversion of standard sap MM form MEDRUCK Window Main -  Text Element Item Text.
    BG ,,&TTXIT-TDTEXT&
    /: INCLUDE &T166P-TXNAM& OBJECT &T166P-TDOBJECT& ID &T166P-TDID&
    /: NEW-PARAGRAPH BG
    So far, tried these approaches:
    PARAGRAPH
    NEW-PARAGRAPH
    LANGUAGE '2'
    THANGSAN font
    Any ideas?
Thank you so much in advance for all your help. Our project team will really appreciate it. May the Lord bless you as we go through our SAP work!
    Sincerely,
    Celeste

  • Sapscript and Standard Text - Polish Characters not printing

    Hi,
I have created an English Sapscript and translated it to Polish via transaction SE76.
Changing my PC Region and Language settings to Polish allowed me to enter Polish Characters into Hardcoded text in the Sapscript and Standard Text via s010.
    I have two problems:
    1) With my PC Region and Language settings set to Polish, when I create my sapscript output some of the polish characters that I have entered via SE76 and SO10 do not appear and are replaced by others e.g.
    ę is dispalyed as ê
    ć is displayed as æ
    ń is displazed as #
    2) I have a business requirement to be in England Logged with PC Region and Language set to English but to print a sapscript output in Polish. Is this possible.
We are currently on non unicode SAP system.
    Please can anyone advise.
    Regards

    Hello,
SAP discourages mixed code page or MDMP systems and with good reason. If there is any possibility of you upgrading to a Unicode system in the near future you should try to wait for it. Supporting multiple languages in Unicode is easy, in MDMP it can be quite tricky. And MDMP makes the move to Unicode more difficult.
That said, your BASIS team can enable Polish and you can print in Polish while your PC is set for English. The SAPScript/Form must be in Polish or using an INCLUDE that is LANGUAGE 'PL' to let SAP know which code page to use when printing.
Seriously, look at moving to Unicode, you need to do it eventually anyways.

  • What do i do to position the text ?

    Hi everyone,
i'm new to dreamweaver and coding in general. i am making my first web page using photoshop and dreamweaver and it seems that so far i have made good progress on this but the problem is that i can't position the text where i want. see the picture below.
    [html]http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/pedped/pic1.jpg[/html]
this is the photoshop version and as you can see there are three different types of text in each box.
now what i have done so far is that i have created a DIV for second box and a new style sheet called box2 and in this box2 i have add 3 different rules for each text format ( i don't know what i have done is right or now) and i can't use margin or anything else to move my text to right or down to position my text correctly. i would appreciate your help.

    please help if you can

You need to use either padding or margin rules to move the text within the box.. no other way to do it really.
You could use padding in #box p { } rule.  This rule would style any <p> (paragraph) tag in a box with the ID of Box.
    eg:  #box p {font-size: 12px; color: black, padding-top: 5px;}
However, before going any further I have to warn you that you should never let an image editor create the html for you.  You need to learn how to slice up the PShop comp and build the page in Dreamweaver yourself.
Image-ready has created a very fragile code base.. here are the reasons why not to use an image editor to write your html:
    http://apptools.com/rants/spans.php
The code you provided shows no use of a Doctype at the top of your code - a DTD is need to ensure that your page is rendered as it should in all browsers.  Without a DTD the page will render in quirks mode in non-compliant browsers and not render correctly.  Usually this happened with very early versions of Dreamweaver, what version are you using?
    DOCTYPES:

These tutorials may help you move forward with using Dreamweaver - You really should learn basic html and css - once you do,, working with Dreamweaver will be much easier.

  • SapScript - Box / Position / Writing Text -

    Hello everyone.
I have an problem in a SapScript.
    I made the following code:
    BOX FRAME 20 TW
BOX HEIGHT '2.2' CM FRAME 10 TW
BOX HEIGHT '2.7' CM FRAME 10 TW
BOX YPOS '2.7' CM WIDTH '5.5' CM HEIGHT '9.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
BOX YPOS '2.7' CM WIDTH '7.0' CM HEIGHT '9.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
BOX YPOS '2.7' CM WIDTH '9.5' CM HEIGHT '10.3' CM FRAME 10 TW
BOX YPOS '2.7' CM WIDTH '15.0' CM HEIGHT '9.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
BOX YPOS '2.7' CM WIDTH '16.5' CM HEIGHT '9.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
BOX HEIGHT '3.2' CM FRAME 10 TW
BOX HEIGHT '12.2' CM FRAME 10 TW
BOX HEIGHT '13' CM FRAME 10 TW
My main problem is: How do i write something that appears at the end of this box without going "ENTER" all the way in the SapScript.
    Thanks in advance,
    Rui Ribeiro.

    emowtf,
If this is a Word Processing document, Select the Text Box and Format > Advanced > Move Object to Section Master. It will then appear on each page in the Section. If you have multiple sections, you will have to do this for each section.
If it is a Page Layout document, create your first page and then Format > Advanced > Capture Pages to make a reusable master page with your custom page number text box.
    Regards,
    Jerry

  • SapScript Position

    Hi,
I want to change the position of a BOX in sapscript. So I used the following commang
    /:   POSITION WINDOW
    /:   POSITION XORIGIN '-0.5' CM
/:   BOX WIDTH '8.5' CM HEIGHT 5 CM FRAME 10 TW
It works fine. I can really see that the BOX moved 0.5 cm on the left.
The problem is that the paragraph didn't moved on left.
So What i wrote in the BOX don't fit.
    hope it's clear
    thank you
    joseph

Yeah I know that but i don't know what happening w/ this form I getting crazy!
And it's hard to explain the problem by writting....:(
    But I will try:
The original Form is HEBREW language so that mean that the form will be display from RIGHT to LEFT.
The RIGHT margin is 0.5 CM.
The second language of the is ENGLISH so the the form will be display from LEFT to RIGHT.
I was excpected that left margin will be also 0.5 cm but no.

    I have a <input type=text...> on a JSP Page with a default value...
I want this: when the input get focus, it "sends" the cursor to the last position, so the user can
continue the default value..If this JSP page of yours is being run out of a browser, onFocus, the cursor (or Caret) will be positioned at the top left in NN and at the bottom right in IE. There is no getting around this.

  • SAPScript: Positioning a Window (Graphic) behind the main window

    Hello,
I want to print a graphic behind the main window. But I am not able positioning a window or graphic-window behind the main window. The result is that my graphic always shows up in front of the printed text of the main window and not behind the text of the main window, as I wish. I thought that the order of the windows determines which windows is on top? But I am not able of putting a window before the 'MAIN' design window.
    Regards, Lars.

    Hi Lars
    Please check the following thread:
    ABAP Development
/: BITMAP MYLOGO OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BMON
I think, trick must be in 'TYPE'.
Try to explore what options you can have (here it is BMON). I will also try.

  • Cursor Position in text item - almost there

Searching the forum I found a post relating to the same problem I am facing but still without solution. The text was :
"Q:Does anyone know of a way to add a value from a LOV into a text editor, inserting the value at the current cursor position (ie. possibility in the middle of lines of text)."
Mr. Duncan Mills replied the following but it didn't worked:
"1) Set Keep Cursor position on in the text field
    2) Have the LOV return into a "working field" possibly hidden
    3) Aftre the LOV has returned a value do a Go_ITEM to the working feild and issue SELECT_ALL; COPY_REGION;
    4) GO_ITEM back to the text Field (the cursor should return to where you left it) and PASTE_REGION."
I was trying this and I finally found solution just changing "paste_region" to "win_api_shell.sendkeys(whnd,'^V',FALSE)". It's working, but I am getting the message FRM-41008 - Undefined function key.
How can I disable this message ? (I tried to set :system.message_level to 25 but it didn't work).

You can trap error messages like that in a Re: Error Trapping
