Satellite A300D restarts all the time

Hi,
My Toshiba Satellite A300D 14P restarts all the time and i cant do anything!
I turned it off last night and today when i pressed the power button it worked for 1-2 secs and then did a restart again and again.
My display doesn't show anything (because it works only for 1-2 secs).
Any ideas?

On this virtual way it is not easy to say what the problem is and Im afraid you need professional help with this issue. Maybe you should contact nearest Toshiba service provider and let them check your notebook.
Problem is that your options are very limited and all you can try is to check if notebook will starts with or without RAM, HDD or battery. Problem is that nothing is shown on the screen and you dont have even access to BIOS settings.
It must be some serious hardware related issue.

  • [solved]Emesene suddenly makes X restart all the time

All of a sudden, emesene makes X restarts all the time. I can start the application with no problem. Logging in isn't a problem either but when I click on a contact or click on a menu like File, X restarts and I have to log back in. It happens with emesene from community, with abs and the latest svn version. When I run it from the console, all I see is a warning about the usage of a deprecated md5 module. Any idea how to resolve this issue?

After trying out everything there is to try, I decided to simply remove  ~/.config/emesene  which solved the problem. Odd, but you won't see me complaining

  • Desktop icons restarting all the time

I have upgraded my Imac 2008 with a SSD harddrive and 4 GB ram. I moved all OS X Mavericks (whole disk) to the SSD.
Now the icons on my desktop are restarting all the time, nearly every minute. Disappear and return. Everything else on the mac seems to work.
I have tried manually restarting finder.
    What could be wrong?

Have you tried to verifiy/repair permissions?

  • My iphone5s keeps restarting all the time

Hi, my phone is keep restarting all the night.
I cannot use ITunes to reset my phone because it needs me to stop using "FIND MY IPHONE". I even cannot get into it because it keeps restarting all the time.
Someone suggested me to hold the home and power button for over 10 seconds. Yeah, it works well if the phone is locked. But when i unlock my phone, it will restart again within 3 seconds. How can i do?

Most of the problems that it causes, is a software bug, advise you make a restore.
In battery issue several things you should let off, like wi-fi, bluetooth, notifications of applications, especially the facebook app instagram and consume a lot of battery good luck.
Detail: You should first make a backup of your data before performing the procedures and not back up, as they often return back up causes of errors.
    good luck.

  • Blackberry 9320 - restarts all the time

My daughters Blackberry, whilst still typing or looking up a phone number etc - the screen just goes black and then the phone restarts with the blackberry logo the"timeline" below - very annoying and frustrating - any suggestions on what might cause the problem and how to fix it?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:
KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode
It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Mac Mini crashes and restarts all the time?

Hi! I was really hoping someone could help me out.
I have a mid 2011 Mac Mini which used to work all right, but has been messing up since last summer, restarting, freezing, crashing and doing everything that makes working with pictures (Preview, Lightroom, Photoshop, iPhoto) impossible. Safari crashes often, too, and looks weird sometimes (text disappears, leaving only blocks where text was -- but restarting Safari works for that).
I've done all updates I can think of (using the latest Mavericks), 1/3 of disk space is free (about 150 GB), the most apps I have open at once is 3-4 (Mail, iTunes, Safari, iPhoto), and I almost never use Lightroom or Photoshop with any other apps open. I only have power cable and HDMI connected at all times, sometimes SD card or iPad, but then only for a few minutes for syncing. Since 90% of what I do on my Mac is editing pictures, this issue is seriously inconvenient. The computer usually crashes when working with pictures, but also when I'm only using Safari/iTunes.
    Here's the latest crash log:

  • 3110c restarts all the time

hi all, i've got a problem with my mobile whenever i change the SIM card or remove it
also when i update my music library.....it restarts 4 times then shut down
it also repeats that sequence  each time i try to start the system. the only solution i found is to remove the memory card for 2 or 3 hours and restart it...it works again

There are tests that can be done, but can prove to be unreliable:
    https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/15837/rember/
Even though the RAM apparently meets the specs, it did for others on here that have had similar problems. The often-suggested fix is to return the RAM for a refund and get new modules from either Macsales or Crucial.
Taking out the new RAM and running with just the original modules should be a good indicator as to whether it is the new modules causing the problem.

  • After installing osx mavericks my macbook pro restarts all the time

after i installed osx mavericks my mackbook pro always restarts again and again
    can someone help me?

I have the same problem with my 2012 imac.
Maverick is working great on two macbook airs but the imac crashs multiple times a day. It's killing me as it's our workhorse.

  • My Macbook Pro restarts all the time.

I have a Macbook Pro and I have been having nothing but trouble with it since I bought it from a rental company.  The first trouble I had with it is anytime I wanted to add my music files to it I would end up having to restore and reinstall Mountain Lion.  I have had to reinstall Mountain Lion several times in the last two weeks.  If its not needign to be restored it is consitantly restarting on me.  Does anyone know what could be causing this to happen and how would I fix it?

If you haven't done this yet, I would recommend erasing the hard drive and reinstalling Mountain Lion fresh. Then reinstall any applications from scratch. Don't use Setup Assistant or Migration Assistant to import anything from your backups... copy only the specific data that you need manually to the new system.
If you have done that, or try it and it doesn't help, my bet would be that you have hardware problems.

  • My nano restarts all the time if I use more than 3 gb

    the problem is this:
    - If i use arround 1,5 GB of music its all Ok.
    - But if I put 3,5 GB of music (more or less) the apple logo appears and i must restart my ipod to use it again.
BUTTTTT...the problem is the music(I think), because I tried sincronizing the ipod only with 3,5 gigas of video and any wrong happened. So I think that the problem is with the music, but it's really strage. I haven't read anything like these in any forum or webpage...PLEASE HELP !! !the apple service in my country is the worst!
Sorry my inglish is not the best.
    Thanks

im just making sure...i know its a stupid question but you do have an ipod nano thats 4 gigs right?
because obviously if its only 3 gigs then its not gonna work..
    im just wondering..
but if it keeps on doing it, then contact apple and see what they can do for you.

    Thank you in advance!
