Save not working on 'Clear signature' in Acrobat 9!

We have a custom Digital Signature plugin in which 'DSDoSave' and 'DSDoSaveAs' callbacks are implemented.
In Acrobat 9 (Standard), we are able to craete the custom signature that gets saved/committed in the PDF.
Next time when we open that PDF and select 'Clear Signature' option from the right-click context menu, the sign gets cleared off.
When we click on 'Save', the 'DSDoSave' callback is executed which has this line:-
ASBool bRetVal = CALL_REPLACED_PROC(gAcroViewHFT, AVDocDoSaveSEL, DSDoSave) (avDoc);
So, it appears that the PDF is saved with the cleared signature, which infact isn't. When we open that PDF next time, it still contains the digital signature.
However, if click on 'Save As' and save it as a new PDF, that one gets saved with the signature cleared which is as expected.
Any ideas/suggestions on how to get the PDF saved with the cleared signature on 'Save click'?

When i open any PDF from local disk, clear the sign and save it, it works!!
However, the same operation is not working in our system scenario...(i.e when we open a PDF from our server).
Could you let me know how to save the cleared sig state in the AVDoc or PDDoc object? Because as I last updated, AVDoc object
is passed to DSDoSave on Save click.
I appreciate any inputs on this.

Try Repairing Acrobat once and see if that helps.

F11 key not working to clear desktop

All of a sudden, my F11 key does not work to clear my desktop. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix for it? I use this all the time.

First, go to System Preferences>Keyboard and Mouse pane. Select the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab. Hit the "Restore Defaults" button.
If that fails, go to your Home/Library/Preferences folder, and remove "com.apple.finder.plist to the trash. Restart.

Digital signatures not working for LiveCycle forms in Acrobat Reader

Hello, when I create a Form in LiveCycle Designer with signature fields, I open the form in Acrobat XI and save the form with extended features (File-->Save As Other-->Extended Features-->Enable Tools), but then when I open the "extended features" form in Acrobat Reader, the signature fields do not work (click the field, but no signature prompt appears). I do not have this problem when extended features are enabled in Acrobat X. Why do they not work when they are enabled in Acrobat XI?

Please try the steps mentioned below to get the issue fixed.
1) For Windows :-
Open Default Programs by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Default Programs.
Click Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
Click the file type or protocol that you want the program to act as the default for.
Click Change program.
Select Adobe Acrobat for PDF and APPLY.
2) For MAC
Click one of the files in the Finder.
Choose File→Get Info (Command+I).
In the Info window, click the gray triangle to disclose the Open With pane.
From the pop-up menu, choose an application Adobe Acrobat

Can't clear signature box (Acrobat X Pro)

Hi,
I have read some into this and have tried some different fixes with no luck. I had to re-image a person's PC who uses PKI certs. on a CAC to sign PDFs. Acrobat X Pro was re-installed and updated. The digital ID on the CAC is the same before the re-image and it validates. I went to ECA.ORC.com to update the HW4/5/signing certs. and had them jacked into Outlook (just in case it calls on that for some reason). The edit function under tools is grayed out and there is no "security" on the PDF. The customer claims he could right click the signature box and the option to clear would be there; it is not there now. What am I missing here? Thanks.

How to clear signature in acrobat pro dc

I want to clear a signature on a DC document form that I created. I used to be able to do so by right-clicking the signature field and choose "Clear Signature" but that option is not available.

The "Clear Signature" option is available in Acrobat Pro DC as it was in Acrobat XI Pro.
You can clear a signature if you are the signer, that is, if the digital ID with which you did the signing is available to Acrobat.
I can think of two reasons that "Clear signature" might not be available:
1. Your digital ID is not available to Acrobat Pro DC. That is, you have not yet imported it for use in Acrobat or don't have your smart card in the reader, etc.
2. When you signed the PDF, you chose the option to "Lock Document After Signing".

Screen Saver not working & Phone Restarting unexpe...

Hi,
Never expected this problem on my Nokia 701 after updating to nokia belle fp1. My phone restarts unexpectedly even though i m not using it and also while using some applications. Also my screen saver does not work whatever i do the screen saver just doesnt come i dont know whats the problem as i also tried to reinstall the belle fp1 on my phone through nokia suite and still the issue remained the same.
. the issue looks small but its very frustrating that the battery goes down because of no screen saver and every time reboot without any reason.
I request nokia to go through this message and look into this issue and release a bug fix for this issue.

Don't call me crazy but...last night I activated a hot corner to put display to sleep, no screen saver, nothing, just off. This morning, a minute ago, I checked the display and it's fine again. No shadows, as if the "memory or imprint" of the images were cooled off and erased. The display is clear again!
Not crazy at all, it's what I would expect. LCD screens can experience a temporary image persistence, if an image remains static for a very long time, but it is not a permanent effect. Letting the screen rest can help eliminate the persistent image, and if that doesn't, you can get rid of it by displaying a white full-screen image for a while with the brightness turned down to low.

My iTunes Artwork screen saver is not working. After reboot, then selecting iTunes Artwork in System Preferences, just a black screen appears in the preview, as well as when pressing Test, and when allowing the screen saver to start on it's own. The error message in Console says...

The memory address location at the end of each line is different everytime I preview the screen saver.
I've tried...
    deleting ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.screensaver.* files
    making sure each album has a cover in iTunes
    running Get Album Artwork in iTunes
    recreating symbolic link ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music -> ~/Public/iTunes Music/
... but doesn't help.
All other screen savers work... my usual is Flurry, and it works too, but gives invalid framebuffer operation under Console.
Nothing running/checked under Sharing.

Environment: Mac OS X (10.7.2), Macbook Pro (late 2008)

So it turned out that the cause of the problem wasn't as complicated as I thought...
I had a few songs that were not added to the iTunes library, instead referenced from other locations on my hard drive.
Specifically, if you bring up the Get Info window of a song, under Summary > Where, it may show a different path than your usual iTunes Media folder location, set under Preferences.
E.g. Where: ~/Desktop/downloaded_song.mp3
I guess, this happens when you drag a song into your iTunes instead of adding it to the library, and apparently, causes problems with the Artwork Screen Saver.
Solution:
To correct it,
For those songs, go to File > Add to Library...
Then find and select the song file.
That's all I had to do to get the screen saver working... All your songs have to be added to your iTunes Library.
I think my brother was messing around with my playlist... I hope Apple nails a better way to lock-unlock/secure OS X soon (proximity sensor, biometric 3D face recognition, unique voice recognition, soul recognition, etc.).
That malloc error message still shows up; that must be an unrelated issue with the screen saver.
I hope this helps out all those suffering through the same issue with their iTunes Artwork Screen Saver.

Screen saver not working in KDE 4.6

I can't seem to get my screen saver to work on my netbook running KDE 4.6.1, I have tried removing all the the user settings for KDE and starting with fresh configs but that did solve the issue. I can go into the System Settings and test the screen savers, in which case they work there, but it does not come on when the system times out, I have it set to five minutes. Could this be caused by a missing package or something needed for the screen saver to work?

Thank you, it was the same for me. Starting dbus and then restarting KDE fixed everything. I added dbus in the daemon array, so everything should be in place now.

Quicktime Pro 7.7.5 save not working on win 7

Good afternoon, i have just purchased QT PRO to correct the H644 issue as reported here: http://www.videocopilot.net/blog/2008/06/fix-quicktime-gamma-shift/
The problem is that whenever I hit SAVE on QT PRO, no file is saved. I have tried to change folders, and to uninstall QT and re-install it as administrator with no success. SAVE and SAVE AS are not working if I choose "Save as independent movie".
I am on Win 7.

As you can see additionally the file dimension looks 27Kb with both the possible chances, while original file is about 30Mb - any help? Thank you !

Windows 7 screen saver not working with TV@nywhere Pro FM Radio

I've installed TV@nywhere Pro apps from CD (think they're actually for Vista) on Windows 7. Driver is the latest Win'7 I found on the MSI site and I installed that separately. When only listening to the FM Radio, a screen saver will not activate. I can understand no screen saver when watching TV, but when only listening to FM radio, the screen saver should work. Can anything be done about this? A final comment, I miss a separate FM Radio application - I don't want to go through the whole HyperMedia menu system just to listen to the radio...

I don't know if this program will even work in Vista or Windows 7, or even with your card, but might be worth a try, a nice little FM Radio tuner program, originally bundled with the now obsolete TV@nywhere Master:

Word of the day screen saver not working after upgrade?

Yes, precisely. The crash of "word of the day" cannot be related to the Lion upgrade. Some other issue must be at fault. And to clarify and be specific "Apple" did not say it was not supported but rather one person working in customer support said "word of the day" was not supported - and since some of us Lion users having the screen saver work and only just now failing, that one person at Apple seems to have made an error in guessing what the problem is. Why keep discussing this? Because "word of the day" is a useful screen saver in an educational setting and it is worth the effort to fix it and restore it as a screen saver option. Hoping there is a fix soon.

Is there anyone else having issues with the auto-save/versions not working with Microsoft office on the OS Lion Upgrade?

It seems (from some testing I've just done) that:
1. It's not an explicit choie or preference - it's just there, in the background, invisible
2. Your textedit document has to have been saved once (i.e given a name), or you've reopened a previously saved document
If those conditions are met, Textedit will keep the doc saved.
My test was:
Open existing docuement
Make changes
Wait a few seconds
Quit Textedit
Reopen Textedit - and there's the doc with all the changes.
I ran the test again, quitting Textedit immeditaley I had made the change - and it saved the change successfully.

c) T_AUSZ1-BUKRS, 'A', OBJ_KEY+0(10)(which you get from BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST bapi), posting date, posting date year pass it to T_AUSZ2-BUKRS, T_AUSZ2-AKTIO, T_AUSZ2-AUGBL, T_AUSZ2-AUGDT & T_AUSZ2-AUGGJ and append it.
delete duplicates from T_AUSZ2.
3) but am not able to clear the document using Clear_document Function Module
4)I am able to post the document through BAPI_ACC_DCUMENT_POST
5)Please tell me how to clear the document.

Please see the following :
1. Down Payment Received (2500 INR.) F-29
2. Customer Invoice Posted (2500 INR.) FB70
3. Clear Down Payment (2500 INR) F-39
4. Now Run Automatic Clearing (F.13)
And then check the Customer line item report in FBL5N. It will clear both line items.

Save not working in Reader 7 when another user works on the same PDF

Hi, I'm a first time user of Acrobat Pro 8.1 and 9. I'm creating PDF forms. When I open the forms in Reader 7 and work on them, I can directly save it, I do not have to do 'Save as'. However, when I copy this document on another machine, open it in Reader 7 and make changes, the 'save' option is disabled, whereas, I can do a 'Save as'. My client does not want to do a "Save as'. They want to modify the original document and just click 'save'.
I would like to know if this is an internal feature of Reader 7. Please provide a solution, if any.
